I just got my martin guitar back. After having Dave at Gator Music set it up absolutely amazing it is perfect I will always go to Gator Music for any repairs or set up or just strings I couldn’t be more happy thanks Dave you are the best!!!!
Good gear, good advice
Appears to be good selection- however, customers have no access to guitars. It’s nice to be able to strum a guitar, put it back up, and pull down another to strum.
A Real Guitar store. This is the place for all your Guitar needs in Naples. However I don’t recommend this store for Guitar repairs they are to busy and are not thorough or timely.
Amazing Customer Service! Very Generous Owner Dave Is, He Fixed My Guitar Issue Within 2 Minutes For Free, Very Knowledgeable Of How Instruments Function. The Only Thing Is That It’s Not The Largest Selection If You’re Into Metal, But Great Place For Accoustic, Ukelele, Rock/Blues Ect.
Underwhelming. I stopped in today on the recommendation of a friend. There were two workers in the store, and 1 other customer who promptly left. All I wanted was a beginner guitar and some supplies. Stood around for 7-8 minutes as I was roundly ignored. Started picking up guitars and just strumming and picking the strings and putting them back. Nobody said a word to me. The manager went in the back room and was playing some video stuff on his PC, and the other worker appeared to be repairing guitars. Totally unimpressed at no greeting upon entering (this is a small store), and no service at all. Returned home and bought a guitar on Amazon, and it came with many supplies and has good reviews.
I went in to buy guitar picks and ask some questions about my trumpet that needed repair. After waiting patiently well
Dave helped the other couple he approach me with a very rushed attitude saying we don’t work on those. I told him I was here for more than the trumpet and I would still like to ask my question. He started speaking very fast of where I could go to ask my question about the trumpet I didn’t even have time to write down the information because he was speaking so fast. I asked him why he is talking so fast and his reply was I am very busy. He asked what else I needed I replied guitar picks he asked what kind I said what are my choices he rudely pointed to the back wall behind his counter. After looking at his product I decided he was to rude to me for no reason and does not deserve my business. He had time for the people in front of me and the customer waiting after me but I wasn’t worth his time. Too bad for him he doesn’t realize all the customers that will now go to his competition.
Very disappointed Gator Music remains in business after all of the people I’ve talked to who have been talked down to, cussed out and yelled at by this guy. I seriously thought this man was going to physically put his hands on me. Not only that but I spent $300 on a terrible guitar and when I politely pleaded with him to give it back, he kicked me out of his store. I truly hope you read my review, and choose to buy your musical gear and do business elsewhere! YOUVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Craig Christman is a true professional- he has bailed me out with last minute repairs on several occasions (sorry Craig) and he always does impeccable work.
We’re so lucky to have him here in Naples!!

Wonderful customer service! My son and I stopped in to buy a guitar tuner and they were friendly, helpful and spent time with my son explaining how to figure it out. We will be back for all future instrument needs! Highly recommend.
Nice little music store located just of Naples Blvd. Personalized service and friendly, helpful staff.
Be advised: if you use a walker or wheelchair, you cannot move about this store easily. The door is difficult to open, the angles are awkward, and the store is crowded. When I initially picked up my child’s instrument, Craig wasn’t there, so I ended up leaving without everything in the case that I was supposed to have. There’s a lovely older woman working there, but she didn’t check the case and it didn’t occur to me that there might have been items missing. If you and your child play the same instrument or same style, you’ll likely not run into this problem, but if you’re a piano person and your child is a clarinet or violin person, you’ll expect to leave with everything you need. Just keep that in mind and be sure to ask if you’re picking up a new instrument for your child and your child isn’t with you.
Christman Music offers a full range of instrument sales and rentals as well as an extensive variety of accessories, method books, and printed music. Quality repairs are available for wind and brass instruments. Customers seeking major repairs and overhauls are encouraged to communicate their expectations clearly to avoid potential disappointment.
Friendly, helpful staff. A little tresure-trove of a music shop
No rating. Christman music stole my money. I knew nothing about microphones and speakers. My husband loves to sing so as a birthday gift from me to him I googled and found Christman music. Rated 5 star. I purchased… what I was told to be blue tooth and could play any music through this speaker. All lies! So sad. I was truly trying to help out the mom and pop business. I should’ve went to Walmart or Best Buy.
I absolutely hated the wait, and the quality of the shop. I most definitely do NOT recommend this to Naples.
I drove a hour to this store to buy a fender speaker that was clearly sitting right next to the counter but for some reason was told i couldn’t purchase instead they took my number and said they would which they never did…it’s sitting out on the floor price tag and all so i know i was turned away because the color of my skin because i sent my brother in law a hour later and the was ready to rang it up for him

I have some expensive guitars back home but I just wanted something to practice on while we were vacationing in Naples Park. Denny fixed me up with a nice one in the classical style and with some cool modifications such as being a little less deep from front to back and built in turning. I’ve been playing it for a while now and for the price I feel like he gave me a phenomenal deal. I feel like Denny was looking out for me and I’m happy with my experience and the guitar.
Awesome spot!
Very friendly, skilled service!
Great shop, the owner is a cool and helpful guy, and the prices are crazy good!
Misadvertised, too small and doesn’t have basically anything
I went to guitar center to get a quote on how much it would cost me to get a pick up swapped out of my guitar and replace it with a seymor duncan jb humbucker. bc i dont have a soldering iron to solder to pick ups in myself. Guitar center quoted me 79$ for the pick up installation and the 70$ to carve out the wood to make room for the pick up. Now this isnt a difficult task if youve done it a few times so i looked online to see opinions on this and people were saying what a rip off the guy i go to charges 40$ for the pick up installation. So i decided to call Naples park music to get a quote hoping it would be less expensive and i could give a locally owned business some money. Plus naples park music is where i took guitar lessons when i first began playing in 2005. Well right when i asked about the project the man on the phone sounded annoyed like it was something he really didnt want to do, then when i asked how much it would cost roughly he said a couple hundred dollars.. idk im just upset and dissapointed, i really hope my mom wasnt getting ripped off when i took guitar lessons their when i was a kid. So it looks like im just going to buy a soldering iron and see if i can borrow a router from a friend. If not ill go back to guitar center even though im a big advocate on supporting our local businesses. I Was really hoping naples park music would charge around 100$ for the job though.
I Show up to drop off my axe off for a repair and dude walks out of the store. leaves me with another useless employee that clamed he worked there. The kid knew nothing about repairs, he did not answer the phone, all he did was strum the same old chords on a cheap guitar. Take your guitar and hard earned dollars elsewhere. Or to someone that cares.
Customer Service here does not exist. I walked out.

My son is taking bass and loves it. He has progressed a lot and is being taught the joy of music. His instructor is straight out of a rock band video and he eats it up. It’s a great community and highly recommended.
I have vocal lessons with Allen weekly. Very professional and helpful. Though I was nervous at first, the environment created made it easy to relax and grow musically.
As a longtime student of Carrie’s, I am very grateful that she has taught me the strict basics and fundamentals before allowing me to be free to explore other pieces of music to my liking. As a graduate of Carrie’s piano studio, I am greatly thankful for the opportunities to take part in annual studio recitals and just feeling like there was a greater purpose to improve on my pieces.

I have just started playing drums with Drew Conner. He has been a great teacher and I have really enjoyed taking lessons with him. He has already taught me so much in only three lessons. He is a very friendly and positive teacher. Highly Recommend his school
My son has been with the school for 3 years, turning into a rather accomplished young musician. Couldn’t be more happy with the quality of instruction.

Great bunch of people Great Atmosphere and knowledgeable. Purchased my first Telecaster there. And it’s awesome. Thanks. ✌️
I recently had my Telecaster worked on at this GC by guitar tech Bobby P, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. One of the major issues I was facing was fret sprout, which was affecting the playability, and ripping up my hand. Bobby skillfully addressed this problem and made the neck incredibly smooth and fast to play. The transformation is remarkable – the fret sprout is gone, and the playability is off the charts. Bobby’s attention to detail and expertise shine through in his work. He also did a well needed setup. You don’t need a Plek when you have Bobby P. I highly recommend his services to anyone looking to enhance their guitar’s performance.
My EBMM JP6 guitar needed a switch (3 way) repair and a standard set-up. Mr. Bobby Proietto, the guitar tech, did a marvelous job taking care of my guitar. He fully restored it to its original state. The tedious custom switch repair, intonation, action, set-up, and tremolo adjustment he did were phenomenal. I was extremely happy with the outcome. The playability and tone was just as fluid as it was when I first purchased my axe 20 years ago from Ernie Ball/Music Man. If you are in the Naples, FL area and in need of precise/quality work for your guitar, please take it to him. You will not regret it! Thanks Bobby.
Came here for the first time. We were greeted at the door when we first walked in. The place is very organized and clean, mainly because it’s brand new. Inventory was well displayed.
I have to say the staff was much more wanting to help then any other time we have been in the store. I hope they can keep it up.
Very helpful staff. They were able to guide my purchase with expert advice.
What a nightmare of an experience. Went to the grand opening event and signed up for lessons in order to get the free guitar. What they didn’t tell me was that the charges would be recurring. After being charged for the 2nd month without my consent I went in to discuss the matter. I was advised that I did sign off on that although they could produce no documentation. After being advised that my money wouldn’t be refunded, I cancelled the “membership”. But since I had already paid for March, I went ahead and scheduled lessons for my son. Well lo and behold he went in today for his 1st March lesson and they advised him that his lessons were cancelled at the end of February. This place is very poorly run. I’ll be headed down there tomorrow and will update.
Decided not to trust the other reviews and go check it out for myself. Tried to sell a guitar that they have for sale for over $600. Was literally told by the employee that the other guy made a mistake, this guitar is only worth $400, he knows what he’s looking at.
Got passed around by 3 or 4 guys just to get the most ridiculously lowballed offer I could imagine.
This location brings shame to the guitar center name. They don’t care about musicians. Don’t go here and get a bad taste in your mouth, drive to Fort Myers and get the guitar center experience you deserve!
Well I just retired and I thought as a gift to myself, with a push from the wife, I’d get myself a nice sounding electric guitar. I’ve been playing my j-45 for awhile now and thought something different for creativity sakes I’d look at what they have. I went in Monday for your president’s sale and tried a few, not many, hollow bodies. But I feel in love with the sound I heard coming from a young man playing a fender. I never owned a fender, candy apple red, with what appeared to be a maple neck?.. and I couldn’t tell if they were all single coil pick ups or was there a humbuckler in the mix? Couldn’t get no answers and no service, so I hung it back up and went home with nothing. So sad!

Technique: Joe knows all the mistakes and remedies that may be impossible to get from lesson videos online. Further, he has a music ear that can hear sounds that us mortals can’t, so in the course of the assignments he nails all the mistakes that you don’t even know you are making, and shows you how to fix them. What is especially impressive is that he will do it over and over (even in the course of a whole year) until you get it. This is one huge aspect of value in personalized instruction. Although he is a perfectionist and expects the assignment to be played perfectly, he is also a realist and knows that for efficiency you will not progress after a point so he will finally let it go once you are very aware of the problem.
Bobby is fun, funny and flexible–just what I wanted in a voice teacher. We tried different songs I was interested in and I learned a lot in a short span. I’m a grownup with a day job, not looking to break into the biz, but to feel the flood of joy and relief that happens when I sing. Bobby helped me remember some old choir techniques and helped me start to improve on pitchy habits. His studio is garden patio adjacent and comes with tail-wagging dogs if you like. Try a class or ten and enjoy!
I started taking guitar lessons with Alex about 2 months ago. It has been fantastic. Everyone at the school is incredibly nice, and it really has a low-key small town community type atmosphere. My lesson is one of the best parts of my week and I look forward to it every time. Most of the students are children, but I’m not. If you think you are too old to start an instrument or to take music lessons, you are incorrect! It’s never too late to strike up the band. Give it a try, you will be glad you did.
