Awesome shop. Great employees. Will shop here again
This Music Go Round is my preferred music store. I have been to many other music stores in the area while pricing out instruments for myself and my kids, and the staff and owner, Scott, have a level of professionalism and musical knowledge that I can really appreciate. Rock on!
Scott and his staff are a class act who run one of the best stores in the country. I’ve known them for years, and they continue to improve their store year after year. Recommended!
Musical Go Round is a great place to find certain used gear at a decent price if you know what you are looking for. It is a fun place to look around. I have bought guitars, sound and drum gear over there. I like the fact that they have a variety of instruments / other gear there too. They also do guitar set ups here too. I have to give Doug props for making my old Squire Affinity play nice again.
Staff is a great bunch of guys who have a grasp of what’s what about musical instruments. It used to be a good place to sell your used appointment. I would give you a a decent price but nowadays they won’t even give you a price better than what a pawn shop will give you. I’ve noticed in last couple of years their prices have gone up. They don’t negotiate the prices, which puts customer at a disadvantage Because condition is a huge part in what you pay. I will still stop in and check their inventory. But not as often as I used to.
Very knowledgable and helpful
I contacted the store online before buying the product online to make sure the store could deliver it within my timeframe. They assured me they would.
Now it’s the eve of their 2nd missed shipping opportunity and I won’t receive the gear in time. I had to purchase the item new and pay for overnight shipping to make sure I got it in time.
Between the purchase and now, the store had gone radio silent, despite my sending an additional email requesting information.
The upshot is that I purchased the gear through a reputable online dealer and will have my gear by Wednesday (today is Monday), rather than whenever the staff of this store decided to get around to it.
Btw… “Sorry dude” doesn’t cut it. Hope the store manager processes my refund with a greater sense of urgency and professionalism.
Do not buy anything used. The warranty is only good for sore credit. They sell you something broken or on the edge of broken and then you can only get store credit. The staff is very friendly and helpful but the used products are poor quality and worthless. I lost $200 to this store. The USB midi port did not work at all, wouldn’t even turn on. The akai mpk-25 controller stopped working properly after one month. I took very good care of these items. I would not waste your time on this scamming “must-be struggling” establishment. Especially if you are serious about music.
I’ve been going here since I was like 6. When I decided to start playing guitar they helped me pick out the perfect one. I go here to buy pretty much all of my gear.
Edit: this place has really gone down. Went in today… took them 15 minutes to even acknowledge I was at the counter… I was trying to sell something, and nobody was in there, and they told me they wouldn’t have time to get me in that day even though I went in at 4, and they don’t close until 8… and it wasn’t even just this last time that was bad, it’s been the last several… it’s gotten so bad I’ve started going to spaceman guitars in a sketchy part of town.

I signed up my kids for guitar lessons and James, Zach, Chris and all the staff are awesome! They were helpful, knowledgeable and courteous! Thank you for all your guys hard work and looking forward to our continued guitar lessons!
Had a wonderful experience here yesterday! Travis helped me and he was great and super friendly. I will definitely come back to this store for any other guitar needs. Thank you for the excellent service!!
Went to turn in my daughter’s flute after having it for a while. Sean said, “Hey man, you have a pretty big rental credit. I ended up paying 10 bucks and got a new flute! Outstanding customer service!
They have a bunch of guitar paraphernalia, some keyboard, brass, and clarinet stuff, but nothing for oboe.
This is one of the best music store around the neighborhood. They even sale old music records and they also give lessons.
Low guitar selection. Great for beginners, but not top choice for a seasoned player.
Not very willing to help me. Very disappointed in this store.
Products are expensive but cheap quality
5 years of a rental at $28 a month, strangely I didn’t have any credit with them? ( $700 in change? That I can’t use? ) Would have been better off purchasing an instrument straight out, rather than renting never late on a payment, now they want to charge me a down payment $1,000 for an instrument that’s about $1,000 ?
Made phone calls to the manager and was in the store for about 45 minutes…. This is complete BS. Buyer beware.

Very professional and knowledgeable. Greated cheerfully and immediately by store attendant. He answered my questions and helped me locate the products that I was searching for. Very reasonable prices. I have already revisited the store twice. Always receive the same great service!
We had a good experience here with instrument rental and the staff is friendly. We’ll return!
Extremely patient staff. Good selection for rentals. Helpful with all parts of the transaction.
i guess its okay if you want a 99$ beginner acoustic or an overpriced pair of drum sticks…
Decent sheet music selection. They do repairs but send the instrument off for them to be done. Double check the repair receipt as mine was overcharged by $120.00. They did fix the error, but only after I argued 3 times with the workers. Satisfactory but not my first choice. I do love the accessory selection though.
Okay, nothing personal here, it simply doesn’t offer enough to receive four or five stars. Are there a few digital pianos, audio interfaces, & an assortment of guitars, amolkfiera, & percussion instruments? Yes, suitable selection. Best to visit if you’re renting instrument or beginning a specific musical journey early on.
Music & Arts on Lone Tree is far superior to this location. Thought I’d try this store since it’s a little closer to my home. The employee I dealt with today treated me like a total inconvenience. Going back to Lone Tree.
Run don’t walk from this business! Worst experience I have ever had. The company policy of auto billing for lesson and auto scheduling is broken and just wrong! I would call each week and ask that they cancel my lesson and remove me from the auto scheduling only to be on the next weeks schedule. Also asked the manager to no bill my card for another month of lessons only to be billed and then I find out the manager has left. What a terrible experience and I will never do business with this company again. I wish I had checked with the bbb web site before doing business with this company. Terrible reviews and right as rain!
Horrible customer service. Have been dealing with a billing issue for over a year. Their employee screwed up, I sent them the proof, and yet they still tried to send me to collections. And I’m still out the money. Each time I’ve tried to communicate with them, it’s always that they will give me a call back and they never do. Because of this, I plan on trying to protect people from this company. Because if there is a mistake, they like to screw you.

Prior to SOR my 10 year old had been taking lessons elsewhere for almost 2 years. After just one lesson and a group Rock 101 session, he exclaimed “I’ve taken lessons for almost 2 years & after just one time here I played an entire song!” The SOR instructors, format & environment has turned him into an awesome Rocker; can’t wait to see where he goes!

Alex is an amazing general manager for this school. When you walk into the school the enthusiasm for the kids and for rock n roll and music is contagious. It is indeed the happiest place to be in a regular basis. Allison as well handles herself with such poise and kindness, she always puts families and kids first and responds to parents in a way that makes us feel that we are the most important part of the school. All concerts are so well done! All venues are selected with the adventure of the stage in mind and everything is first class even down to the timing of all shows. We are so grateful to have found this school. It has changed my sons life and our family’s life in an incredible way!
The people who work here are awesome and truly care about our kids.
We have had a horrible experience with their remote online lessons. We signed up two kids (one keyboard and one guitar) and have given it almost 2 months of time, in which, they have yet to learn or be given a single song to practice. We have never been sent a copy of the Method book either. Every week the instructors get on and tell them to practice chords and scales but don’t assign any music in which they could practice chords and scales within. We have reached out to the school numerous times to try to work through these as we know we are all struggling to adapt to the CoVid 19 world but week after week, no changes are made. This is a total waste of money for beginners. The school does not deliver the services for the money you pay.

Littleton bass school is the best school you can go to for learning bass and other stringed instruments. Steve the instructor is very well knowledged in teaching you how to become a better player and also makes it very fun to learn. He makes you want to come back for more. He is also very well versed in all genres of music and will teach you the genres you want to learn. I couldnt have a better instructor and friend. Thanks Littleton bass school!!!!
Steve with Littleton Bass School is an incredible and patient instructor, with a great studio space and solid curriculum. Additionally, he is a masterful bassist and passionate about all things (and all types of) music. If there were a 6th star, I would have added it.
As an older adult learning how to pay bass guitar, this has been a wonderful experience. Steve is very patient and yet will challenge you to become better. His curriculum makes practicing and learning fun. Thank you Steve!

Ryan is an exceptional voice instructor. His lessons are not only informative but also incredibly engaging. Ryan’s deep understanding of vocal techniques and his ability to explain them clearly have been instrumental in my growth as a singer. He creates a supportive and motivating learning environment that encourages progress. I highly recommend Ryan for voice lessons.
Moss has been above my expectations I’m a lover of music and the process learning but I’m a beginner and need a teacher with patient. Lloyd has been humble and giving me ideal examples on how to approach learning the guitar and in just over a month I’m enjoying the process of learning music. I really can’t imagine having a better instructor @ a reasonable price, definitely recommended. Also check out a great podcast: “why we love it” on Spotify to get perspective on classic and modern jams
I love the convenience of having lessons at my house instead of driving far good good music lessons. I’ve been learning a lot from her lessons more so than other music lesson places I’ve tried. The way she teaches is very encouraging and helpful and I feel that I’m making lots of progress. I would definitely recommend her for music lessons to anyone who is trying to learn a musical instrument!
Learning keyboard and piano has always been a dream of mine, and thanks to this instructor, I’m finally making progress. Her lessons are structured yet flexible, allowing me to learn at my own pace.

I highly recommend Eric. My child has made significant progress since he started learning the piano with Eric nearly two months ago. What’s more important is that Eric has really kindled my child’s interest in learning the piano. Thanks to Eric’s teaching, I can tell that my child is on his way of making playing the piano a real passion. I couldn’t be happier about this progress.
Eric’s session lasts 50 minutes. I admit that prior to enrolling my child in his class, I was a little concerned about whether my child could handle the length. Now, seven sessions later, I will say this to parents and prospective students: 50 minutes are a must. The amount of teaching and the quality embedded in a 50-minute-long session are far superior than what a crammed half-hour session could offer. We never feel rushed. Each session is well designed with multiple segments aiming at boosting a student’s comprehensive grasp of musical knowledge and technique. And all sessions are fun-packed. My child is not among the most patient ones. But it’s amazing to see him not just sit through the 50-minute-long session attentively but really, really enjoy it. To talk about what he’s learned and how much he’s enjoyed the lesson is a frequent conversation topic on our drives back home from Eric’s studio.
This brings me to the ONE point that impresses me most about Eric’s teaching philosophy: encompassment. Though the piano is the core, Eric has taught my child more than playing this instrument. To be sure, there’s plenty of training of the techniques. But Eric also emphasizes the importance of music theory, improvisation, and even a little bit of exposure to music history and linguistic training — all presented in child-friendly, entertaining ways. I suspect such a combination is what’s propelling my child’s rapidly growing passion for playing the piano. Thanks to Eric, he has gradually but unmistakably come to realize playing the piano is the key to unlocking a whole wonderful world of musical landscape.
I’m so glad that I found Eric — a most excellent guide and mentor on my child’s musical journey. So feels my child about his “Mr. Jones.” I’m writing this review with the hope that more parents and prospective students may have the same luck as we do. You won’t regret it.
As a first-time adult student, I would highly recommend Eric. His teaching method is strategic and comprehensive, which means you see progress quickly. After only a few months, I feel I have a very holistic overview of piano playing, due to Eric’s equal focus on music theory and practicality. Eric also customizes lesson plans to his students, and even composes music for beginning students that reinforces what they’re learning. Ultimately, Eric makes learning the piano both extremely accessible and really fun.
Eric is the second piano teacher of our 10 year old son, who is an eager learner with a natural ear for music. In the first few months of study with Eric, we noticed significant skill development and an increase in musicality. It’s truly a joy to hear our son play, and to notice such growth.
Eric does’t employ any gimmicks to teach piano; he just knows what he is doing as a teacher and musician, so excellent results naturally follow. Eric shows a dedication that I haven’t seen before in a piano teacher. His approach seems to be more of a “master to apprentice” style than “teacher to student.” He pays close attention to our son’s individual needs and interests, and conveys obvious enthusiasm for and knowledge of his craft.
Eric is what I would call the perfect package for a piano teacher: He is an expert as both a teacher and a pianist. Both of these qualities are not necessarily found in every piano teacher, so we are thankful to have discovered him and recommend him highly.

Stephan is clearly invested in matching students and teachers well so that each student can get the most out of their music lessons. Each person I encountered was enthusiastic, encouraging, and excited to have me there learning! I found it easy to sign up and schedule for a time that best suit my schedule, and they provided both in person and remote options for classes. And most importantly, my actual lessons were effective and engaging. I’ll be back for sure!
The teachers are very friendly, and the atmosphere is clean and immaculate. Highly recommend.
LSM the best music school ever!!!
I cannot speak of the instructors since we never got that far, but can only speak of administrative issues. My husband requested info for getting our son into banjo lessons. He was immediately responded to. But when I sent an email asking about their COVID policies, and whether it would be too much to ask our son’s instructor to wear a mask since our son has a lung disease and is high risk, I got nothing. I sent 4 emails asking for a response. I was completely ghosted. We were so bummed because this seemed like it would have been a great fit for our little guy.
I cannot speak for the lesson part of this establishment but If you’re looking for work go to school of rock. I did an interview and a background check then waited for a month without so much as a email or call and when I called I was told I couldn’t be guaranteed a call from anyone and was laughed at. When I tried for school of rock I was hired in under half the time.
I am not angry about not getting the job but I am frustrated with not being told. It is hard to make it in the music industry you should be looking to help those who are interested in working for you not making it harder.
Ps. As a reply to the owner, again I’m not angry about not being hired I’m angry about having no communication, about being laughed at when asking for communication and for not being able to talk to the owner.
