Large store with options bathrooms are clean for the most part, baby changing station in the bathroom but it’s near the door so be careful. sit down area for the subway inside different booths and chairs available.
Not much truck parking. Filled by 1530. Staff friendly enough, but everything is over priced. Subway decent. Guessing getting out of here in the am will be challenging
One star only for great customer service. However. I don’t feel safe in an establishment that allows multiple customers to wander around their store without masks when it is clearly stated in several locations that it is mandatory before entering. Just feeding the disease. Thanks Flying J.

What a great little shop. I am new to the guitar and broke one of the pegs out of ignorance. I took it into the shop and they re-strung my guitar for the purchase price of some strings. They have bulk strings for only $5 A set. They tightened my tuners, oiled the neck, and gave free fidget spinners to my kiddos. Super super excited to be supporting this shop in the future when I get better and want another guitar. Best customer service I have seen from any business in many years.
Picked up some drum sticks the other day and today I got my youth son a 1/2 scale acoustic guitar. John and Jack were friendly and helpful. I’ll be going back.
New favorite music and guitar shop. The staff is all very helpful and John is such a sweetheart.
He helped me fix a small broken piece on my guitar for me and let me watch him do it.
Afterwards, he let me try out some of the guitars he had around the shop.
I was also extremely suprised to see how cheap the instruments are, price wise not quality wise.
So glad this place was recommended.
wouldn’t give it even one star! I just went in to grab some guitar strings and was never once acknowledged the whole time I was there. Not even a greeting. needless to say I walked out. Not sure what the deal is in this town but I have yet to encounter any sort of professionalism with the businesses here!!!

Our go to stop whenever we travel. Always clean, busy, and friendly. Most have an Arby’s or other restaurants inside. Great place to stretch while driving.
Just a good idea to stop in the middle of the road
Had problems with pumping gas, but Fred and a lady working with him helped with courtesy & promptly. Sorry l forgot her name both should get a raise and promotion. Maybe someone will let me know that it happened.
Stopped at 1 north of Tucson, very clean. Stopped at one off of route 10 outside of LA. It was ok but not as clean…

Second time coming here .. should of learned the first time. Service is incredibly slow and there process for propane and the dump are awful. The ladies at the register have not idea what they are doing. Please think before you stop here. The lady who does the propane is wonderful though.

Nearly $500 to replace an Tractor’s rear AirBag at Love. Paid $260 in North Carolina for same thing A month ago. What a f rip-off.

The soundroom did great work on 2 busted guitars I had that were both broken. They got them working again and set up the Floyd roses for me, now they are playing better than ever. This is my go to for guitar repair now, can’t go wrong here great guys that do awesome work
Best shop in the quad-city area. Jay really knows how to help, what gear you need, and can always has a fair price. Special orders are welcome with the Sound Room and they set the bar high with their service. Weather you just jam, gig, or have PA needs this is the spot!
It’s okay place kind of small
Great store… decent prices. Went in for a used classical guitar and came out with a nice one. Came with case even. Added an American -made humidifier, works well. Smaller place, but has the important things. Recommend highly
It’s okay , inside the Mall , didn’t have what I was looking for .
Burned by this store over a Reverb purchase. I paid $450 total for a mini french horn they advertised as in “excellent” condition. When I recieved the horn I started noticing that the 3rd valve doesn’t close and open all the way disrupting airflow when pressing and depressing. Even after oiling the valve, there was no change. This horn is non-functional to a player. 1st the store decieded to deny any return or exchange to address the issue immediately. Then I tried to contact Reverb customer care and tried demonstrating this in a video to them. Both the seller and Reverb responded with a guilty until proven innocent skepticism that left me stuck with an unplayable horn. It took a lot of hassle and time away from normal living dealing with both of them. I would advise anyone not to buy a brass or woodwind instrument from this store unless you can inspect it first. Either they don’t play the instrument themselve, or they knowingly sold an unplayable instrument not caring.
I have played horn (F horn) semi-professionally for over 22 years in wind bands, orchestras, and jazz ensembles. I also have extensive knowlege of major brands and makers and designs of horns and am qualified to advise other players.
So, I went here for the first time and the girl behind the counter was NO help. She was too busy to get up and show me where the item I was looking for was. I will not be going back.

I recently brought in an older inexpensive strat style guitar for a set up and Jack replacement on the recommendation of a local musician..Russell did a splendid job and then some.That guitar rings and plays so sweet now.Nicely intonated,no buzzing,,full and smooth volume control,Im I stoked! He adjusted my tuners nicely,Replaced a couple different screws,got everything dialed in nicely/ strings, conditioned and cleaned the fretboard,,got the electronics dialed in.What can I say? I highly recommend Russell at PV Music for setting up your musical instruments.
I had a wonderful experience picking up my very first guitar at this shop. I could not be happier. The owner Russel and his wife are both really nice, knowledgeable and helpful. I brought in a couple things for trade and felt that the offer was definitely reasonable. These folks really care about people and take the time to answer your questions. I would definitely trade or shop here again. The energy at this shop is what I would describe as good vibes and good karma all the way around.
Russell did such an amazing job taking a very old instrument and making it look and sound like new. His craftsmanship is unsurpassed. He really cared about the instrument and made sure to do everything he could to get it in the best shape for my son‘s birthday! His knowledge about each and every instrument in his shop is extensive and I can’t wait to go back and get another one.
I stopped by Prescott Valley Music looking for someone to repair my flute. Even though they specialize in guitar repair, he fixed my flute within minutes at no charge. I will definitely go back with my guitar needs.

Sadly, and most regrettably, I must report that Russell, the proprietor of PVM, used his prior good business standing to consign, endorse, solicit, directly accept partial payment for, a fraudulently, utterly misrepresented $3k instrument, that is so INTENTIONALLY damaged (a 40” gong, sawn into THREE parts, then poorly soldered back together) that it is basically rendered useless as a musical instrument. He also personally/professionally arranged for its delivery and attested to the instrument’s ‘excellent’ condition (all in email and voicemails, still retained as evidence).
Initially responsive, and seemingly aghast, he and the seller he worked with, and as agent for, now decline to correspond or address this, each saying neither or the other is responsible.
A $3k scam?????

Hands down the best place to go. I live down in the valley but every time we visit the area we stop by. If you need anything guitar related you have to go here. Every other store said my guitar was unplayable and impossible to fix. I bought it here and he made it play better than when it was new. The prices are just barely higher than places like guitar center but he does a free setup on every instrument that would cost about a hundred dollars anywhere else. The owner is very friendly and is happy to tell you everything you could possibly know about any instrument at the store. He is extremely good at what he does and has even made guitars for people like Alice Cooper and David Bowie. Just the perfect place to buy or look for an instrument. I will never take my guitars anywhere else.
Rick (the owner) is a professional in every sense of the word! His business is like walking into a mini-museum of cool and unique and vintage instruments, books, art work, and vinyl. His guitars are quality pieces that run the gamut from beginner to pro. I have been a musician for over 40 years and Rick is absolutely one of the best technicians I’ve come across…I’ve purchased 3 different guitars from his shop over the past year and I can’t wait to buy again! Please patronize the last of a kind operation!
Rick the owner sure knows his stuff, he said he’s been in business for over 40 years, not specifically in Prescott at this location but overtime. He has an amazing selection of guitars. From the very novice and beginner guitars to the most pristine vintage guitars. Really nice little place, highly Recommend popping in here, definitely one of my favorite professional music stores in Prescott hands down. He’s a really nice guy and great to talk too. I also recommend John’s corner music shop it’s technically more of a thrift store music pawnshop but he’s a really nice guy too!
The owner is a pretty cool guy. Very knowledgeable on everything in the store. He has also made guitars for some of the biggest names in music history.
Listed as open on Monday. Drove from Spring Valley to find them closed. Need to correct this.
The owner of this establishment is beyond rude, he didn’t answer any questions (which I believe is because he has 0 knowledge of anything pertaining to his little business) and he over prices everything. I understand it’s a local business so prices will be higher but his USED banged up instruments are at least 70% higher than anywhere else for the same NEW instruments which is unreasonable.
I’ll be shopping at a honest local music shop.

What a cute and quaint little diner. Really good food at great prices. Fast service, very clean and well maintained. Their chicken fried steak and meatloaf are very good. Only been there twice, but I expect it will become a regular spot.

So I haven’t been in here in awhile. Today I ordered the T-Bird sandwich and it was amazing. I’d been working all day and was tried and the idea of a hot meal, a beer, and a milkshake sounded like heaven.
Unfortunately I never got the chance to order the milkshake. I waited for almost 30 minutes for the waitress to come ask if I needed anything else, but when she finally returned it was to drop off the check without asking if I wanted anything else. She did ask me how everything was… but she did it as she walked past and when I opened my mouth she was already gone. Lousy customer service and it really soured me on this place. I believe in supporting local businesses, but this server really ruined it.
Oh, did I mention my waitress spent the whole time I was there complaining in the back kitchen area about her hours and the hotel possibly being shut down? Literally I wanted to have a meal and some ice cream at a nice local business. Very disappointed. If the customer service had been up to par this would have been a 5 star review.
The service and food has really gone down hill with the new ownership. The staff is pretty friendly but they are just not efficient
