Great service and selection. I have dealt with them for a few years and they have never disappointed. I brought my tube amp here to be fixed, and now it runs like a charm. Foster, the owner, is a very fun and knowledgeable guy.
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂

Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Employees act unprofessional around minors….disturbing experience.
Courteous & friendly but I wouldn’t take an amp there for repair. I was told that I’d get a call with the diagnosis. 2 weeks later I called only to be told they haven’t been able to find anyone willing to work on it. It clearly states on their website that they repair both tube & solid state amplifiers? I’m a little preplexed..

First, the best service and the they help you a lot and we’ll help you find instrument that you want and looking for and good prices and I like how they always let you try an instrument and they will offer to play it! And they will always have a good smile and greet you well! I think you will have fun going here I recommend going here to also very high Quality instrument and other items!!!!
This place was better in the past than it is currently. The employees were all sitting around in a circle talking and were clearly staring at me whilst I looked around at their selection of products. I was asked several times if I needed help finding anything to the point of annoyance. I told them numerous times that I was not shopping for anything specific and that I was there to look at their selection since I haven’t been there in years. Upon first glance, they moved their small selection of electric guitars into what was the acoustic guitar room (which is very small). They also moved all the acoustic guitars into the main area. Why? I understand that they may sell better there, but that room was literally engineered for acoustics. In addition, they put up signs asking for assistance for playing each guitar in the shop as well. I don’t think they can make it any harder to actually buy something here. Here are my recommendations for improvement. Employees should maintain a professional manner and not have mannerisms that resemble a lunch “get together” where you are sitting in a circle chatting with one another. Secondly, the acoustic guitars need to be in the acoustic room and the electric guitars need to be back in the main part of the store. The sole reason that room was constructed was for sound acoustics. Finally, listen to the customers. It’s evident when employees don’t listen to customers. In my case, I said that I did not need assistance, yet I was sequentially asked four or five times if I needed any.
The store seems OK at first glance, but I had a question about sales tax, and the associate (Drew) didn’t know the answer. The manager wasn’t in, so I asked the associate to take my name and number. He flatly refused. I was flabbergasted. I called later and spoke to the manager who didn’t seem to care very much. I went back later in the week. Drew’s still around. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
Poor customer service and very rude! I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone for any future business transactions.
They were very helpful, and what I wanted had a special in store sale so I saved 100 bucks.

Helpful staff but they don’t have a lot of stock on the shelves, most of the guitar racks were empty.
They were taking very good social distancing precautions considering it’s a smaller store. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nice selection of guitars and amps.
Macon guitar center. Wasn’t impressed at all. Couldn’t get any help. Had to walk around employees talking to other customers who just simply wanted to see how an instrument sounded. Tried to ask a question, employee simply walked away. So I decided to get several packs of strings so the trip wasn’t a total waste. Oh well! Stood at register for five minutes. Been to 75% of guitar centers from NYC to Orange CA to Miami. This store and the one in San Antonio are in a tie for the worst GC. SMH.
This place is ok for a box store feel. I have been here 3 times now and the staff seems like they care more about hanging out than helping customers. I got the feeling that I was bothering them when I asked questions or even when I went to check out. 0 stars for customer service.

Edit. Staff seem to be very unfriendly now unless you spending big bucks in there! Even the manager has no public relations with no one who comes thru the doors unless you from a local band and than he’s acting his position.
Rest well you can’t tell if they work there cause they play the guitars in there or walking out for food. Becoming a joke now. Will look elsewhere for my instruments.

Placed an order on line. Order on 2/12. Was informed my order was received the same day. Still haven’t heard of a shipment date. How long does it take to package a microphone and sent it out.? LOUSY SERVICE.

I have had the pleasure of doing business with Randy and his staff for the last 20 years. It began with Emmaus and continued on into my association with Andrew Chapel UMC. I personally and for our church have purchased fabulous quality instruments and Randy has been to our church to ensure that our sound system was fine tuned.

My daughter takes lessons here and I LOVE her teacher. And YAMS does an annual recital to show off the students’ hard work.
The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is the owner of the school/store publicly advertised his political views during election season. I understand his right to freedom of speech, but i wish that as a professional, he didn’t share his opinion oncontroversial topics.
I wanted to take piano lessons and saw that this school was only a few miles away. Pulled in the parking lot and instantly got bad vibes by the big Trump flag mounted between all the flags. Anyone’s political party is there choice but I rather not go to any business that wants to seclude anyone or a political group. Went to Guitar Center where the vibe is way more welcoming.
Very very disappointed. He opens up at 11:00 am then turns around and goes to lunch at 11:30. It is now 2:11 pm and he is still at lunch. How do you manage to stay in business when you are not there? I have an instrument that has to be picked up today and he is no where to be found. There isn’t even another contact number on the door to call. My son has to have his instrument in the morning at school for band class. He doesn’t open up until 11:00 in the morning. By then my son will have missed his band class at school. Will NEVER do business with him again. I will pay more somewhere else just so I can have great customer service and someone there at the hours posted on the door.

The ladies that were running the place made me feel like we were old friends. Didn’t matter what genre I asked about they found something worth looking at. I spent way more than I had planned to but I am quite pleased with my purchases. They have new merchandise coming in every week so I can see where this could be habit forming (in a good way). I almost forgot, take cash with you if you plan on making a purchase. No plastic accepted here, cash only. I’ll be going back just as soon as my wallet fattens up again.

First of all they need to change their address on Google since they have moved to a new location. The shop is small and the records are all jammed against one wall. Most of the records are piled up flat rather than standing up front to back. This causes wear on the covers and records. Almost no records have outer sleeves and many did not have an inner sleeve. Records were in poor condition would not recommend.
