The Mirror Palace is a beautiful venue for Crested Butte Music Festival’s concerts! Check it out! We saw the Time For Three concert July 16th. Great concert! Amazing musicians!
Thank you for bringing incredible musical experiences to Crested Butte!
Consistent with the smugness of the Crested Butte Music Festival DeVotchKa played for about 45 minutes on Saturday Sept 11th at the IBar Ranch. Typically the Ibar is a great place to see shows because of the amazing staff and beautiful setting however the Music Festival managed to make a Saturday night at the IBar incredibly disappointing!
WE LOVE STRAND HILL! Kendra & Emory are such talented musicians. We have seen/heard them play music in Crested Butte many times and hardly miss an opportunity to see them perform again. As photographers, we have witnessed their incredible wedding performances on many occasions as well. They are such a dynamic duo and all-around awesome people. If you’re needing a musician at your event, cocktail hour, etc. look no further. This talented band will wow you with their tunes.
This amazing duo knows how to please a crowd & get people dancing. Their fun energy is contagious, and their range is impressive. With chillingly beautiful vocals and impressive guitar talent, Strand Hill is the real deal, and the perfect band to make your wedding (or any event) memorable. We truly can’t say enough good things about them!!
We hired Emory and Kendra to play at our wedding rehearsal dinner at Rainbow Park on July 1, 2023. They were a joy to work with from start to finish! They had a wide variety of songs and I really appreciated that they learned a few of our song requests to make the night extra special. All our guests loved their music and energy. Thanks again, Emory & Kendra!
4. Paradise Cafe
Address: 435 6th St, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Excellent place. Food selection, outstanding. Service very friendly and effectivrm
Great stop in Crested Bute
Great food and service. Hosts can be somewhat cold and rude
Interesting food
Food was good service was lacking as they seemed to be under staffed.
I will NEVER come here again. This place is NOT worth to painfully slow service and 1.5 hour wait. They always appear understaffed and unorganized and the food is just okay.
Painfully slow service, lacks the capacity to give good service
Breakfast was served cold.
5. The Alpineer
Address: 419 6th St, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Everyone who works here are always super helpful, friendly and kind. I especially like the guys in the bike repair department, who always go above and beyond. A+
Managed to break my bike pretty bad, took it in there. They didn’t have the part that I needed but Dillion was really nice to get my crank set taken apart for me at no charge. Super nice people.
A great mountain store!
Great spot to rent a mountain bike. They have a large volume of rentals so you can usually find something you need even if you forgot to make a reservation, depending on the local events.
Dropped in near end of day for replacement laces for my hiking boots. Brought my boot inside to be sure I got right size. There were plenty of employees. A young man promptly asked me if I needed help and took me to the boot laces but walked away to yak with fellow employees when I asked for help figuring the right size. I asked the girl at the register and she seemed to know what size I needed but when I gotta home, I discovered that she’d sold me the wrong size. Just a $3 transaction so no big deal, but I was disappointed in the level of service.
Nice staff that helped me out with my MTB.
Absolutely terrible customer service. We rented skis/boots here and the associates were beyond rude and rushed our fittings so our boots and poles were not the proper fit. They said we could go to Christy Sports on the mountain to swap if needed but unfortunately these associates were just as rude & said we would have to return to the Alpineer. Couldn’t be bothered. I’ve never experienced this type of disregard from a ski town rental, let alone ski resort. Highly recommend you to rent your skis elsewhere or bring your own.
I live in CB and went here for the first time to get a mountain bike wheel trued and a spoke replaced. Cost $30, which seemed high but ok, it’s a resort town. Had 8 rides on the wheel and a spoke had fallen out, half of the spokes were loose. Went back, seemed like they were going to chalk it up to a bad true and fix it (their mistake) – I should have explicitly asked if this was the case. Went back a week later and they said 8 rides was typical for needing a wheel true/spoke replacement, charged me $40 this time. Lesson learned, won’t be going to them for any bike repairs again.
Came in on Saturday, September 24 hoping to rent a bike. No one acknowledged my presence while awkwardly standing to get some information for over 10 min. Finally asked two guys behind the counter about renting a bike and they begrudgingly provided me with the price it cost to rent a Hardtail and then continued to ignore me. I understand if you are busy but you can let your customers know it will be a minute or at least have the decency to acknowledge them. Ended up walking out and renting from big Al’s which was a much better experience.
6. Gas Cafe One Stop
Address: 602 Butte Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Allow this gas station to blow your mind away with their breakfast sandwiches and lunch burgers! In the 4 years that I have been traveling the country for work, this is hands down the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and will forever tell anyone to stop by whether they are here to ski, or even just driving through! Definitely the spot to refuel not only your gas tank but yourself for sure!
They have some dope as hats in this place…didn’t get to eat there unfortunately
It’s a gas station in a small town. Was clean and friendly.
Very busy gas station and be warn of difficult left turn to 135 due to heavy traffic.
Cleaning window from all the summer bugs. Something to drink & omw.
No parking. High priced gas. 30 minute wait for a breakfast sandwich! Not many tables to eat at. NO THANKS!!! Oh and high prices as well.
Bad service head rather stand there and talk to each other take 3 to work a cash register
Great sandwiches awful service. When paying the clerk puts you on the spot by asking out loud if you’d like to “tip the cooks”, I really didn’t like that. Then they make you wait outside (it was 45 degrees) for your sandwich. It took them 25 MINUTES to being the sandwich out. There was no one even there. I then asked for a straw to at least stir my coffee while I waited in the cold and they said they didn’t have one. There are plenty of other places to get breakfast in Crested Butte. Skip this place.
7. Christy Sports
Address: 10 Crested Butte Way, Crested Butte, CO 81225 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
This is my 3rd year at CB & 2nd with Flatiron. I was ready for boots & maybe ski’s, but I don’t know enough to know what to ask for. Boots was my focus as my left is two sizes smaller than my right. Adam guided me through the process. He treated as family. I never felt like he was trying to “sell” me, his intent was to get me in the right boot for me. I was also demoing skis at the same time, again Adam helped me find the ski that fit my level. He answered all my dumb questions & took the time to explain everything. I was extremely impressed with his expertise & desire to help me. I will always come to Flatiron & Adam for all my future needs!!
Thank you to all the great people at this fantastic shop who helped make our trip to Crested Butte perfect. The shop is privately owned and well established. I called to discuss pre-shipping our skis before our arrival. They helped us by receiving our FedEx’ed skis, called when they arrived. The skis were waxed and ready for us on our first day. While we had never met before, we were treated like long time friends. We stored our skis with them every day after skiing. The staff is knowledgeable and competent and very charming and pleasant. It will be our “home base” any time we are in CB! Highly recommend the shop, the staff, and their knowledge and skill.
Great place. Quick service and were able to help me out when I forgot my boots (gave me a replacement pair for the day at no extra cost).
Pricey and the upgraded board could have been better. One employee was stoned out of his mind…though, I’d probably be surprised if someone wasn’t stoned at a board rental place in Colorado
Staff was a great help. Variety of equipment to meet your level. Discounts for early reservation is available only online.
I bought a bike from Flatiron Sports hoping that it will get me into mountain biking but unfortunately it didn’t last long. I took the bike in for a tune and ran into so many issues that it seemed like they never tuned their bikes after being told that the bike is ready to hit the trails. I wouldn’t recommend a family member or a friend to rent a bike or buy one because of how unsafe my bike was to ride on the trials. I had a great experience with buying it until later finding out it wasn’t safe to ride and dropping extra money to get it back on the trials.
I’m left a bit speechless after having just visited this store. My wife and I wandered in on the off chance they would have a Garmen Fenix 5X charging cord. Should be simple enough- “No sorry, we dont carry Garmen.” But apparently these self proclaimed “super athletes” look down on those of us that use “stupid techie gadgets” (aka, some of the best gps tech created to date). And they aren’t afraid to tell you so. I’ll take my inferior athleticism, which includes the 6 Adventure Races I’ll do this year (including a 5 day AR in Africa) to another shop. I’m well aware of the awesomeness of maps. I’m also well
aware of the greatness of GPS and am not above using both. And no, the Garmen Fenix 5X is not the same thing as your cell phone or your Fitbit. Do some research.
Unfortunatly Crested Butte seems to have a handful of local businesses who are openly annoyed by the very people who they make a living off of. We were not some stupid tourists visiting your town, but it was apparent you thought we were. I’m honestly surprised by the positive reviews for this place. There are MANY amazing shops in CB, we’ll be going there.
Was trying to get goggles for my wife. Elder lady was extremely rude. Said very snide comments when we walked out. People should never be treated this way. Sad to see a place I used to work for hire people like this.
8. The Crested Butte Jewelry School
Address: 411 3rd St, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Head to the basement. Great atmosphere and great pizza.
Very delicious, hand made pizza with a great selection of beers as well. They also have a ambiance as well.
Great place, just get there at 4:55pm to avoid the hour plus wait to be seated.
Liked this place especially the all day Poor Boy happy hour they don’t really advertise. $7 for a PBR, shot of tequila or whisky and a slice of pizza which is an amazing deal. Apparently when they run out of slices at 7pm..they no longer honor the deal. Boo. But at least they still have $2 PBR’s so you can just drink your dinner. Lol
Great pizza in Crested Butte. Bonus…they have a great salad bar with lots of choices.
Great pizza and service.
Dont go – service is AWFUL!!! We have stopped eating at the restuarant when we are town and now just do delivery. The pizza is still GOOD and delivery is usually less than 30 minutes. Then we do not have to deal with all the incompetence of the wait staff and my children begging for $20 bucks to play video games. OUTRAGEOUS!!! I miss the old location at the end of Elk.
Meh
I have never been treated with such disrespect. My kids wanted pizza so my wife and I took them here. After looking at the menu I decided to go next door to get a burrito. When I came back in to set with my family I was met at the door with a look of discussed and was told I was rude to bring food from another restaurant into this place. I had to leave and eat alone outside on the sidewalk. My family had already ordered their food.
10. Indigo Custom Bicycles
Address: 110 Andreas Cir # A, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Thank you Matt for getting my little Fender set up so well. I really do hear hints of Buddy Guy now when I play. I appreciate having you as a local resource, mentor and friend. PS..Christine says a big, deep hello.
Just wanted to give a shout out to Daryl and Matt over at Blue Mesa Music Store. They were able to order us everything that we wanted for our family Christmas presents and matched online pricing! Highly recommend those guys. Shop local! Especially at your local music shop!
ALL THE GUITARS ARE SET-UP AND IN TUNE!!!
Knowledgeable and friendly staff, but not even a little pushy. Usually when you walk into a boutique guitar store, you feel like you have to make small talk with the owner and have to try to escape the encounter to actually look at things. They paid me just the right amount of attention, letting me browse and answering questions. They had no qualms with me playing a $300 squier (again, set-up AND in tune!) or the $4k vintage Martin casually hanging on the wall. Great place to spend some time and some money!
12. Butte Bagels
Address: 218 Maroon Ave A, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Hey Charlie, this ones for you. You won over several women with your charm this morning; sorry if the Jersey crew was too much for you. Loved the bagels you boiled and baked for us while on a caffeine kick!! If you’re ever in Jersey let us know. PS f**k yelp, Butte Bagels are tasty (: PPS call me
Amazing breakfast with some pretty rad employees
Cute place just a block off of the main area, they had a nice selection and they tasted really good. Had one right before I went on a long strenuous hike and it served me well for the first few hours. They alsohad a good selection for lunch but I didn’t try any of their lunch items. Also loved the coffee, better than the instant stuff at the place I was da staying.
Great place to grab breakfast and a coffee. Currently, there’s only one small table and a love seat inside so don’t expect to sit down and eat.
Sort of like hunting for a Philly cheesesteak out west
I was trying to get a bagel here this morning and witnessed a customer getting yelled at with very vulgar language and kicked out of the shop. I can honestly say I’ve never seen anything like it before. I will not be supporting a business that is okay with that type of behavior. And the reason he got kicked out? Because he was wearing big spray. Unreal.
Horrible experience and they didn’t even say sorry or anything.
Order a Nicole n Mortimer on jalapeño bagel. My name is Cory and gave to people who just walked n in order while I’ve been waiting 20+ min with the names lacy. Then after they brought the food back they continue to call me lory n not cory and didn’t apologize for the mistake or wait.
Absolutely ridiculous service, tourist trap.
After waiting 50 minutes for our food my wife got the wrong order which she couldn’t eat because of a food allergy. It was way too big of a mess to try and get a new bagel for her.
They also did a bad job with COVID-19 precautions. People were packed in line, not 6 feet apart and kitchen staff wasn’t wearing masks.
13. Irwin Brewing Company’s Public House
Address: 202 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
The food was all great, service was excellent and the poutine was amazing! Great gravy really flavorful!
The atmosphere is wonderful, even if you have to wait for a table. The elk meatloaf, creole shrimp and grits and trout stuffed with crawfish were all amazing. Great service and well worth the money.
Great beer selection and a good menu – some great atypical menu items.
Got Buffered by the Mayor.
Cute and hip place with good beer selection. The beyond burger was decent, but no other veg options.
I liked the Public House. I would go here again and I go to Crested Butte quite often. We ordered the 2 types of Poutine as an appetizer to share with our group of 8 and that was a tasty treat! My burger with extra lettuce instead of a bun was amazing. They were very busy so we had to wait awhile for our party of 8 to be seated. And it took awhile to get our check at the end of the night. But I would still recommend Public House.
There was a chemical taste in our second bottle of water that was concerning. They changed it out but I didn’t feel good after our meal. They also put dairy on all of my dairy-free appetizers. Food was not worth the price, and they overcharged us for our entree as well. We were so disappointed in the experience that we just paid and left.
Ever since the Public House opened, we’ve been huge fans. We love the beers, the entrees, the appetizers. Tremendously disappointed this past weekend. The street corn app was STONE COLD (usually piping hot.) The trout entree was completely flavorless. The Parker Burger was half the size of when it debuted. How can this restaurant go downhill so fast? Service was superb, staff is great. Food… amazingly worse
Good food but terrible service. The mac and cheese I ordered was too spicy for me to eat, and the server basically said it was my fault because I didn’t read the menu carefully enough. I took one bite of the dish and she didn’t offer to remove it from the bill. The fried chicken, on the other hand, looks amazing, but I will certainly not go back here.
14. Blue Spruce Barber Shop
Address: 311 5th St, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
best barber in the valley, fresh cuts and shaves with a great atmosphere
The best option in Crested Butte. Drew is a great barber and an even better person.
Andrew gave me the best beard trim and haircut I’ve received in the valley. His confidence with a straight razor, experience with beards, and attention to detail made me walk out feeling I had finally found a barber I’d want to go back to. He gives an excellent fade, and since this review is during the pandemic, it’s notable that he follows COVID guidelines very closely to make you feel safe!
15. Crested Butte/Mt. Crested Butte Chamber of Commerce and Visitor Center
Address: 601 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
glad we stopped in. they always know stuff we do not. came back another day and went to a lake and hike and drive, he told us about.
Cute town, good food, lots of trails. Wildflowers not even in peak yet but very pretty.
Great source of information here. Crested Butte is my new favorite Colorado ski town. Possibly my new atf town period. Great laid-back athletic hipster vibe. Very colorful. Bikes and dogs everywhere! I could live here, or at the very least – spend any number of great vacations here. Note to self.
Good visit. Very helpful.
Nice lady at visitor center with maps. Drove to Irwin Lake and hiked to Judd Falls, loved Wednesday night Music on the Mountain at the ski area base. Great shuttle service from ski area to town. Parking can be a hassle. Watch out for bicycle riders darting into intersections!
Things have declined since I visited two years ago. I picked up trash blowing in the parking lot of the visitor’s center and the man inside would not let me throw it away in the building. He told me to go outside but all the trash bins were locked or taped shut so I had to keep it in my car. The bathrooms were disgusting. Only one stall was working, and the others were locked and out of order. No toilet paper and no soap available. I reported this inside the visitor’s center when I was trying to throw away their trash and they said they would notify the city but didn’t offer any immediate resolution to the women standing in line.
Rude service
Unfriendly to some people. Possibly racist.
16. Kochevar’s Saloon
Address: 127 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Cool fun college bar on elk Avenue. 2 pool tables and 3 dart boards in the back. Definitely worth a stop on your night out in cb. Right on the bus line back to the mtn.
Locals bar with table games. You can get $2.50 PBR’s and Don Julio 1942. Was open later than other bar/restaurants. Fast and attentive service considering only one bar tender working, she was working really hard.
Very sad when these towns turn… Crested Butte has been our Family trip for many years with nothing but great memories.. this time we were threatened and ran out by locals and then followed into other diners. The young blonde female bartender showed support for the drunk locals over our party of 14. Wish there was more we could do but the younger generation is lacking .. hopefully this review will save a future family.
The bar tender told me “here in America we tip our bar tenders.” Previous to that I closed my tab with a good tip then bought another drink Cash as I put the change in my pocket he said that pretty rude I gave him the dollar anyway and says “you see that’s not so hard” I just left the bar After that that guy didn’t deserve anything after that
Could not believe how rude the bar tenders were to us. Never going back
17. CB Power Yoga | YOGA | SCULPT | PILATES
Address: 201 Elk Ave Suite E, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
I have been attending power Pilates and it’s been amazing. Jill is incredible and keeps the class challenging yet doable for everyone in the room. A mix of barre, Pilates and fun choreography accompanied by THE best music. My favorite way to embrace my feminine energy, sculpt muscles, and SWEAT!
So excited to have this in Crested Butte. Did my first hot yoga class yesterday with Ashley King after a long break from hot yoga. The class was wonderful and I felt amazing. The studio is beautiful, warm, inviting and the heat is so yummy. Loved the cold aromatherapy towel at the end Uber my eyes and forehead. Great vibes and energy. I’m hooked and bought the unlimited monthly membership. ♀️
I love CB Power Yoga. I have been to Yoga studios across the US, and this one is definitely in my top. I love the infrared heat and all of the instructors are so good. If you are looking for a place to reset your mind and body and do something just for you for 60 minutes, this is the best place to go!
18. Frank’s Deli at Creative Catering
Address: 525 Red Lady Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Awesome deli with a great owner! Met Frank riding the ski lift and came at the suggestion of a good friend and CB local. Sandwiches were stacked and delicious, dessert was incredible, highly recommend the carrot cake! Will definitely be back here anytime I am in Crested Butte
We loved this mom and pop deli. Fresh delicious food, friendly staff. We felt welcome right away. Loved their Hungarians mushroom soup even my toddler and tween approved it! We would definitely come back whenever we are in Crested Butte! Highly recommended!
The food is decent. The place is pleasant when the very obnoxious and abrupt owner isn’t there.
Good food and quick service.
Good sandwich and nice atmosphere. Thought the portion was quite small for the $$ — I had to buy a second lunch to get me thru to dinner.
Called ahead and phone message said they were open, but drove up starving and closed?!
Unfortunately the service here was a disaster which was extremely disappointing considering the rave reviews I read. The blonde woman who took our order and was the main cashier could not listen to save her life. She was also extremely distracted and talking to her friends coming in the shop rather than paying attention to the many other customers waiting. She rushed me to order after having waited for her to finish an extremely inappropriate conversation with her friend and another employee during which there were several offensive comments exchanged including one about Tourette’s syndrome. Then proceeded to talk to someone else while taking mine and my partner’s order. When we got back to the car with our food we discovered she also took our order down wrong and neither of us got what we asked for. I asked for roast beef and pastrami and got tuna salad…the saving grace of this place was the mushroom soup which is why I gave them 2 stars. It was delicious and I would have eaten a gallon of it! Sadly the experience of the delightful soup was overshadowed by rude service, inappropriate comments, and not getting even close to what we ordered.
Bad. Really bad. We ordered 3 “Red Lady” sandwiches and a build your own. The “Red Lady’s” were pre made and pulled out of a refrigerator. The Sun Dried Tomato Aoli saturated the bread and made the bread so soggy. For over $52, this place was a JOKE, it wasn’t fresh and was a huge disappointment. We threw them away. We went to the market next door and bought everything we needed to make sandwiches and they were MUCH better than what we paid good money for at Frank’s.
19. T-Bar
Address: 229 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
Great tea selections brewed in all the ways. Coffee avaliable as well. Staff was nice and knowledgeable.
Great selection! Love the boba tea, and really appreciate the variety of caffeine-free options.
Solid Americano (recommend 4 shots for the 12 oz) and the smoothies have great ingredient options. Busy weekend but the staff was kind and friendly
Lovely selection however “tea of the day” was brewed 8 days prior and reeking with character, but I was told it’s sold until it runs out, so best to be wary of the special, otherwise lovely place.
I,ve never heard of Tea Bar,
But was fantastic experience,,,with variety of Tea to choose from, service was great , atmosphere is cool, Free WIFI is absolutely great, recommended
Cute small place. Maybe 15 to 20 seats. Lots of variety to pick from. Homemade ingredients. I got their lavender milk tea drink and it was delicious. The prices are high. I will not go back because I can not afford too. I ended up paying $6 after a 50 cent tip. Just too much.
Tea was good but boba was very uncooked. I don’t know if that’s the word but that is what it was. It was really hard and like wrinkly. It was just overall difficult to chew. And the employees were very rough with my drink and straw. My drink was spilled all over the lid.
Wheelchair accessibility: Not accessible for my disabled friend who’s in a wheelchair.
Rude and charged $2 for a cup of tap water.
Took over 30 mins to get three to go cups. I have watched paint dry faster than these baristas move.
20. Breadery
Address: 209 Elk Ave, Crested Butte, CO 81224 , Crested Butte , Colorado , United States
We had so much fun eating here tonight. We each selected a different cocktail from the Roy G. Biv list then we had fresh bread and black garlic butter. The charcuterie tray was delicious and entertaining. We finished with the best pizza in town- the Fun Guy. We will be back and bring our friends. Thanks
This place was yummy! The bartender was very helpful. It is a busy place. If you have to wait it is worth it. We shared everything! The chicken liver moose was so good! The kohlrabi ravioli was very tasty. The Goochie Gang pizza was yummy. The cookie dessert and the blueberry bread pudding was yummy. It was very affordable. We got all that for $130! I mean that’s a lot of food and we left happy. Customer service is actually a thing here. Both bartenders checked on us to make sure we were taken care of. I highly recommend this place. Let’s hope it stays around.
Dietary restrictions: The bartender made sure that tomatoes weren’t in anything we ordered, as I told her that I was allergic.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the sourdough bread with cheese. We tore through that like it was nothing. We got another loaf as well. We had the heirloom tomato salad, the tortellini and the paperelli pasta. Very good service. Hope was a great server who explained everything to us.
Nice litte comfortable place. The bar has a good selection. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is very underwhelming.
Good cocktails, flatbreads were ok. Busy so make a reservation. Service was good.
I really wanted to love this place because the bar service where we sat was very good/friendly and the ambience is just so nice. But I just feel like the food is way overpriced and not that great for what you’re paying. I will say the sourdough bread starter is divine. My daughter loves mac and cheese but theirs has apples in it (strange). She saw it on the menu before we arrived and texted someone at the restaurant who said they could remove them from the dish. However, the server at the restaurant said that was not the case – the server stated that she wouldn’t even taste them (that they were cooked into the dish). Based on that, my daughter ordered it and tasted every bite of apple (crunchy too) and picked them out whenever possible. My deep-dish pizza was just very average. One of the reasons I ordered it was the $16 price which the menu made it sound like I could add 3 toppings of my choice to it (it was just described as sauce and cheese) – I took that to mean those toppings were included in the price. They were not – my bill was $23 for the pizza (surprise!) and the server should have explained to me that toppings were add’l when ordering (menu doesn’t state that).
Our server was wonderful. However, not a single item we ordered actually had good flavor. The bread was sharp, the salad was fresh but the flavors did not blend well, the pizzas were adequate, but there is an amazing pizza shop just down the street that is much, much better. It was very, very loud. The hostess was short with us because we weren’t answering her, but we couldn’t hear a word she said. Save your money – don’t eat here.
Host took my number around 6 and said he’d call when a table came available. I didn’t receive a call or text all night. Seemed like his first night on the job so I’ll give 2 stars instead of one.
The host implied that some tables are set aside for walk-ins, and if you’re booked the whole night I should have just been turned away. A more appropriate response from an owner would be something like, “I’ll look into this and fix it” but your response is cool too.
The staff were unfriendly, we were brushed off by staff upon entering and our server was cold. The hostess was friendly and communicated clearly. The food was mediocre for the price. Skip the Mac n’ cheese. The cheese had separated and the dish was barely edible. The mushroom pot pie was delicious but couldn’t make up for the staff.
