I got a great bargain on a nice heavy iron table with glass top for only $20
So, so! Limited stock of men’s clothes except shirts!
Nice place but the hours are not good for the working people. It’s totally set for the retired
Nice store with lots of things to buy. Deals can be found but be weary. Some things are broken, dirty, or smell bad.
Overpriced
Unpaid volunteers run this but they are the rudest bunch of women you ever met! They think this is like shopping at Macy’s! This is all cast off, donated junk and should be priced accordingly!
I’ve been coming to the store for years and donate items to this store. Not that I want one but I’ve never received a discount, EVER, even the times I’ve needed it or been short 50cents. I’ve seen some of the volunteers give discounts to their girlfriends on a constant basis, and they can be quite rude.
Especially if you are male I would advise you don’t go in there because they can be extra nasty for no good reason, or watch you like a hawk like you’re going to steal one of their donated dollar items..

Wonderful business! My kit sounds great and it was very very easy to put together. They were extremely helpful and quick to respond every time I had a question or concern. The kit came in perfect condition and they went above and beyond to ship it to Canada for me even though it wasn’t listed as an option on their site. I’d recommend them to anyone!
8. Warrior Pawn
Address: 14325 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958 , Micco , Florida , United States
My first experience with a pawn shop ever, and honestly I couldn’t have been more pleased! We were greeted warmly and as others have said, as if we were old friends. Very knowledgeable and personable staff that pay attention to detail and give honest opinions when asked. I feel we were given the best price on old gold jewelry and would highly recommend anyone give them the opportunity to price out any gold/silver they are looking to get rid of. We will definitely be back!
It is unreal when I went in Warrior Pawn. Everyone that works there treats you like an old friend. I just moved here from Columbus, Ohio. It was hard to find people to work on my house and the staff helped me find some good honest people to help me get rolling. Thank you to all the staff at Warrior Pawn for being good people.
My husband and I have visited Warrior Pawn several times. I was there today. I met Shannon Cook the owner. He was extremely helpful and informative. Everyone there is, so that is not unusual. He has helped me feel very comfortable with my upcoming purchase. I look forward to dealing with them again and again.
This place is giant! Used to be a bowling alley! Anyway, they had a lot of merchandise, but the young clerk didn’t seem to know much about what he had. Wasn’t very helpful; just nodded and pointed at a direction. Most of the products were dusty and overpriced- all tho they had some new stuff (?) that might be a deal. Not a great experience to me or my wife – I wish I didn’t stop. Won’t again.
Nice people
Great people reasonable prices… Check them out..God Bless America And Our Right To Bear Arm’s!!!
horrible service. So I’ve been in this place probably about six times and each time nobody acknowledges me when I walk through this time I came in with my family and still nothing so we went back to the back and looking around waiting for assistance there was like five employees at the front counter no one cared to come back to assist us we were looking to buy a gun and it all seemed overpriced anyway but this is the last time I will go to this place
This shop is the worst. It is also the only pawn shop in the area. The staff is rude and a bit uppity. I brought a ps4 pro to be pawned and they offered $15. I said we’ll goes elsewhere and the girl sweeping said “whatever go somewhere else then. I did and got $75 at Value pawn. Paid rest of electric bill and hafld money left over. The place smells of moth balls and mildew and the parking lot is always empty when I go by. This place is a rip off with terrible staff. I say major dislike and 2 thumbs down.
Dropped off 44 ounces of silver… Shannon shorted me 7 ounces when I picked them up. I paid the crazy interest on the loan to use the money for one month, and on top of that I was shorted 7 ounces of what I had dropped off. Think I would recommend this place to anyone after that???
9. Marion Music
Address: 4970 Stack Blvd #B3, Melbourne, FL 32901 , Micco , Florida , United States
Awesome shop. My girl bought me a nice 1969 Yamama FG-230, 12-string guitar the other day. Great deal! The staff was very professional and knowledgeable, you can tell they did a great job cleaning this old relic up, it stays in tune and has an awesome neck and bridge for an old 12er. Great place for any musicians, beginner, intermediate and pro. And they have some cool electrics hanging in the back. Thanks guys.
Great experience! Went in for a restring and was pleasantly surprised by an affordable price and a great sound along with some TLC to the head and fretboard. Thank y’all!
Great atmosphere
Eclectic mix of modern and vintage performance instruments and gear, with a local, friendly, patient, knowledgeable staff of musicians.
Nice, privately owned music store. The inventory is not extensive but it has qualities that the big name national stores don’t have.
Very good local music store. The staff is friendly and are welcoming to people bringing in their own gear to test on their products (amps, pedals, etc.). Some of the staff have strange (and somewhat biased) opinions on brands/gear, but that is balanced out with other staff who are very informative and don’t try to push their “agenda” on (or against) a product. It’s 50/50, but meet a good rep and keep their card with you.
Their prices are also extremely competitive, so you’ll usually find a really good deal here (ALWAYS negotiate on their used gear, they WILL make you a deal if you simply ask). They carry good brands like Fender and Takamine, but unfortunately don’t carry some of my favorite brands like PRS or Ibanez, although you might find stuff used.
This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.
Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.
Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.
Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).
Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.
Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though
10. Melody Music
Address: 466 21st St, Vero Beach, FL 32960 , Micco , Florida , United States
It is time for Band Season to start at local schools. Please visit Melody Music for your student who is starting band. It is the best deal… You can rent to own to see if your student likes to play the particular instrument he or she starts out on. You will pay a monthly rent which goes toward the purchase price or if your student drops out of band you simply return the instrument. This store has been open for many years and is a reputable family owned business which services what it sells.
I was in a hurry to do a party and they had what I needed at a reasonable price.
Since 2000 I’ve been going here. Same manager. Great guy.
All sales are final at this place, which is a turn off to start. Inflexible leadership and staff that does’t know the products well enough to rate higher.
Had a guitar on layaway and tried to talk to the owner about getting my money back because of a financial situation i suddenly came upon. i had not taken the guitar out of the store at all, i put $75 down. Every other interaction I’ve had with other workers was enjoyable, but i talked to someone new (who was not the owner) who was rude and condescending, and told me i would absolutely not be getting my money back despite another worker saying i should try and contact the owner. Me and my friends have been patrons at this store before with no issue, but i would not recommend this store to anyone solely on this interaction, and I will make sure that those in the Indian river and broward county music scene know not to shop here. I am Genuinely upset with how I was treated.
This is a store with music supplies. Some of their equipment works and some does not. If you are unlucky and the equipment you buy does not work, DO NOT expect any help whatsoever from the staff.
I had been a customer for years, bought guitars, amps, straps, strings and literature. However on two occasions when the equipment they had sold me was faulty, I was treated with disrespect and told to take a walk.
Music brings people together, Melody Music does not, you’ve been warned
11. Marina Cafe
Address: 8490 US-1, Micco, FL 32976 , Micco , Florida , United States
Great place to stop.. Friendly staff and great food!!!
I.go to Maria Cafe often..The original AL owners took the place back. I know they have been working hard to get Maria Cafe back to top speed. Sandwiches & salads are great. I really like the homemade soups.
Prices are very reasonable. Why not stopping and see what you think?
Great food, good service. We’ll go back for sure.
The food was very good and plentiful. The atmosphere was quaint, the owner and help were pleasant and courteous, made you feel welcome. Would definitely go back.
Luv it, it’s cozy.
very small. nice place decent food
You can’t just stop here you have to have a reservation!!!!!
Pro tip! Need a reservation!!! Why I’m not sure.
12. Wholesale Music Instruments
Address: 3000 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, FL 32904 , Micco , Florida , United States
The gentleman that owns the store..has lot of knowledge..about quality guitars…he has great prices…can start you out with beginner models all the way to vintage quality instruments….
Great music store!
Very pleased with customer service, spent much time with me trying to find right instrument!
Mark Wright, I find your comments very difficult to believe.
Have dealt with many music stores.
Staff at this store is courteous and kind.
Are you a political operative (because of your reverse racism comments) or the owner of a music store that has few customers?
Knowledgeable
Gene and…Kevin? are cool guys. I get a bit of a push-to-sell vibe from Gene, but that’s no surprise. Got to make money to eat and grow the business. Wish they had a proper luthier in-store and maybe a sound test room, but lot of good selection for merchandise.
Live music? Wow
Came looking for a case for an odd-sized guitar, found a live sit-in jam session, how delightful.
Owners were friendly and knowledgeable. My case was out of stock, he was happy to order more in. All in all, a great little shop.
The owner is very disrespectful. Please DO NOT support this business. This store is located in the corner of a PLAZA, meaning that the parking spots located within the plaza is intended for customers of ANY of the businesses located in the plaza. The owner forced me to move my vehicle because he didn’t want me parking in front of his store. There is NO assigned parking in that plaza. I am recovering from a surgery on my wrist so I went to grab a cup of coffee at my favorite coffee shop located right next door after my physical therapy appointment for my wrist so I can relax and work on my laptop. Before I even was able to take a sip of my latte the owner barged in telling me that I needed to move my vehicle away from his store. Driving alone is uncomfortable given my injury so the fact I had to stop what I was doing and move my car to the VERY NEXT parking space was very absurd. Honestly I was on the verge of tears from the commotion he caused. This is not ok, I would never want anyone else to go through that.
I came into this store looking for an openback claw hammer banjo. This man tried to sell me everything but. He tried to sell me his bluegrass banjos and then a 4 string banjo!! He told me i could clawhammer on a 4 string just fine! Evidently he doesn’t know much about banjos.
Prices are ridiculous.
$40 for a drum head that is less than $30.
Drumsticks were $20 when others sold them for $12.
13. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 2001 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958 , Micco , Florida , United States
Fast and friendly, im really enjoying my time in Florida with all the great people i meet
Sebastian Walmart is actually a very good Walmart people complain about the self checkout well if you don’t want to use it don’t use it it’s not their fault there are help wanted signs everywhere just a lot of people don’t want to work but I never have an issue when I go in there and I can always find somebody if I need them
Walmart.
Fewer selection choices, but staff friendly and helpful
Put more cashier’s on !!°
its walmart…. what needs said. Go somewhere better and save the stress of dealing with idiots that know when they take break but no clue where anythings at.
Very frustrating place to shop. Not much staff available and supplies were scattered so that you have to travel the whole store to hopefully find what you’re looking for.
Auto center has terrible customer service
14. Guitar Haven
Address: 1873 S Patrick Dr, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 , Micco , Florida , United States
Awesome guitar shop! We just love this place. It looks and smells like you are inside of a giant dusty humbucker, or in the back of an old fender deluxe. Howie has fixed a few of my les paul necks, and banjos and they are holding up perfectly going on 10 years. I find great things in there for beginner, intermediate and pro. I highly recommend this place, only down side is the crazy parking lot, not their fault though, too many shops beachside, but you can usually get a good story about the old days from the hippie surfers that haunt guitar haven.
Thanks,
JDL
Eric is awesome
Howie is the set up man! Got my old P-bass playing like new.
Good time talkin’ shop with the owner(s)!
Howe spent tons of time with us to ensure my son found the perfect guitar and amp. He put together a bundle of guitar, amp, and a Vamp…if you are looking to get an instrument, go to this place! Years of experience to help you is priceless.
t
did an ok job setting up my strat. Not a fabulous job but not a bad job.
I am not that pleased with their general attitude they always try to pass off the cheaper products to me. I would rather go to a music store that tries to educate me rather than one that tries to benefit from any stupidity I may have.
i called and asked about a guitar hook and the guy on the phone didnt even know what it was i had to explain to him what it was and i asked about a tuner for a special guitar and he said that it was the same tuning just an octave apart and that octave in the type of guitar has to be precise im not going to call or go there for my guitar needs.
Tiny little place, not much to see unless you’re looking for overpriced foreign knockoffs
15. Sandbar Vapor
Address: 807 Indian River Dr, Sebastian, FL 32958 , Micco , Florida , United States
Really great. Jefftey was helpful & friendly. Lounge was cool & good music.
Cool spot, good beers, and informative staff.
Easy to find
They had a pretty good selection of vapes and vape juice. The girl working was very knowledgeable and helpful picking out a new vape and juice. Definitely recommend if you are in the area
16. Music & Arts
Address: 1408 Highland Ave, Melbourne, FL 32935 , Micco , Florida , United States
Nice people and good products. A little priced but for a hobby is what it is.
An amazing store ran by awesome people. I couldn’t recommend The Horn Section enough!
Amazing Customer Service! My son needed a music book that was not in stock anywhere, including The Horn Section, and we needed it yesterday. Scott was able to have it delivered the next day and we were so grateful! We have been doing business with them for many years, they are fabulous!
Great place for kids to learn music. I have 2 taking lessons here and they are performing at a very level and considering i have no music ability im giving all the credit to their lessons
Great place for students to get instruments.
Pricey
Ordered an instrument, charged for instrument, after 2 weeks and multiple calls and sitting on hold for 45 mins was informed they have no idea when I would receive my instrument. And my refund will take 3-4 weeks.
Never open even though it’s normal business hours. Never returns phone calls. The men that work there are friendly, but the female is rude. Will over charge your credit card on random days. Then instead of refunding will harass you, even at work for more money.
You’d think when you’re paying $25 a month for a used plastic clarinet you’d at least get decent customer service. I was told that my clarinet, that had been damaged and sounded awful since the moment I opened it, was extremely damaged (obviously) and when she asked what I did to it I told her I had no idea as I’d barely played it and it was this way when I opened the case when I received it. She then told me “Think hard honey because all our instruments are shipped in perfect condition.” Clearly untrue. I will not be giving business to this company again. Very overpriced and rude.
Edit:
As I’m reading through others reviews I see many people have had this same issue with the same woman I had an issue with. I hope the owner notices this and takes proper action.
17. H.A.L.O.’s Rescued Treasures Thriftique
Address: 911 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958 , Micco , Florida , United States
Fantastic Thrift Store! Great prices and it helps support the NO Kill Animal Rescue.
Love it! Supports great cause too!
Delightful place. Good prices and clean!
I came here to donate A LOT of dog kennels, dog wheel chairs, dog items and so on, about $1,500 worth of items, driving 1.5 hours to get here and the lady who was working at the counter was rude to me as soon as I walked in, the look she gave me and then her tone of voice towards me pissed me off, my father in law walked in behind me and then my wife came in and another girl on the donation side was asking what we had and we had to repeat ourselves multiple times that we have pet stuff to donate. I have been to Halo many times in the past at the location north of there and never had any issue but ill never go back to this thrift shop location with those 2 mask wearing idiots and their sorry attitude problems. I donated all my items to the IRC Humane society and they appreciated it very much and were very thankful unlike these 2 ladies at Halo.
Went to donate kennels and a dog wheel chair etc.( not human items) to HALO and we didn’t know if we could drop them there or we had to take them to other facility (we have donated kennels in the past but we haven’t lived there in a few years didn’t know if location changed for donations). My husband went inside to find out and they judged him as soon as he walked in the door by the way he looked treated him horribly and even made a rude comment . It took me coming inside for them to even listen to what we were trying to do. That is when they finally told us to go to the other facility by the Walmart. But when he told me what they did I refused to donate to them and found another facility that were kind and even sympathetic to the fact we just lost 2 dogs bestfriends 5 months apart . My husband and I drove over an hour from our home just to donate to HALO because they are a no kill shelter but I will NEVER donate here again. You can thank those 2 ladies working on 08/15/2023.
The most friendliest and nicest staff and/or volunteers in town. Loved my Wednesday visits to shop and chat with the girls.
Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for management. Unacceptable how rude she communicates to staff and customers (myself). It’s not what you say. It’s how you say it.
I will not be returning
18. Island Music
Address: 465 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953 , Micco , Florida , United States
Pretty much the best guitar shop in the Space Coast area. I know the trendy thing is to buy online but you cannot replace the ability to try out several guitars. These days the prices in shops are often the same as online as well. In the end, you can end up saving money by going to a shop because you can find out that the $1800 guitar you wanted for so long actually isn’t any better sounding than an $800 guitar.
Great local music store!
Helpful service
Nice guys, nice place, nice price!
Cool guys
Has quite a few instruments for the size. Has a recording studio for what that’s worth. I’ve heard some of the noise that come out of there??
Don’t expect any service though. I think the average age of the employees is about 17. And of course they are all Woke and don’t have a clue. Didn’t see any Quota Hires? So if your buying strings or picks you should be good. I really tried hard to buy a guitar there a couple years ago. Ended up ordering a Taylor from Taylor because they wouldn’t. To lazy I guess?
ENTER AT OWN RISK
Dropped off hubbys fender said would be done in few days…went back in one week nothing done didnt even order part…gave another week still nothing done no part even ordered. Just picked up guitar will go to sam ash. Lost a customer.
No part that I needed said they could get it it’ll take about two weeks I order to myself up on Amazon and already got it sorry sorry customer service
19. Wickham Road Music
Address: 4900 N Wickham Rd suite 106, Melbourne, FL 32940 , Micco , Florida , United States
Extremely satisfied with my
Taylor 814 ce. Service at this store was informative and helpful in making my decision. Great experience.
Javier is an outstanding teacher with a boat load of patience for an older student like me. Also, I purchased an acoustic guitar there and the price was right and service exceptional. Highly recommend this business.
Dan knows he stuff!
Nice place. A lil on the pricey side. They have good, knowledgable sales people. My complaint deals with their service. Maybe it was just my luck, but I brought in an item to get serviced and was told I would get a call when it was done cuz it had to be sent out. I did not get a call. Later..2 days after I was told it would be done.. I went to pick it up. It was finished, but due to me being in a hurry, i didnt fully check out the item before I left the store. I got home and found some problems with what was supposed to be fixed. I was able to fix most of the issues myself.. I’d consider going elsewhere if you need something like a guitar setup done..
Has some good stuff, but not a great selection. Very cheap or very expensive not much middle
Four stars because the owner rectified this issue and as far as i know, subsequent customers did not have this problem anymore. Props to you for actually caring!
One star because piano instructor Suzanne is knowledgeable and good instructor overall, so she gets the star. Issue is the owner seems to have an issue in his vocabulary or he is very dishonest. He recently started forcing students to pay a “deposit” equivalent to 2 classes. His excuse, “if you dont show up to class, we use the deposit to pay for the instructor’s time;” however, the classes are PRE-PAID which means, that the class is already paid for. When i argued this with him, he said, “well, we actually use that deposit for two extra classes when you choose to quit.” Well, i already chose to quit, so first of all, why would i want two more classes? an entire month is always PRE-PAID too, so no need for “deposit” since classes have been PAID IN ADVANCE. When i signed up, i told them, i was using 4 classes my mother gifted me. They made her leave a 2 class deposit; even though, again, she had PRE-PAID for the four classes. I told them i was only there for the 4 classes. So when i went to my last class, the owner said, “I dont give back deposits, worse case i could give you store credit.” Hmmm… DEPOSIT??? a deposit is something that is given back subject to terms. In apartment, if nothing is broken at end of lease, deposit is given back, in a car rental if the car is not damaged, etc. He is forcing people to prepay every month, AND prepay two classes that they have to take when they no longer want to take classes. Completely dishonest, misleading and rude.
I went in to ask for a tremelo and the screw attached to it. Was quoted 200 dollars. I bought the whole set on Amazon for 14.50. I believe in supporting local businesses, but I’m not going to get robbed by them either. Also, I’m older, disabled and didn’t know much about guitars. They tried to take full advantage of that.. should be ashamed
People were nice enough, but what kind of Music Store can’t replace tubes on an amp? Seems more geared toward lessons and selling stuff than repairs or service. Also not open till 12, which probably makes sense.
There are many better reputable places to enroll your children for music lessons than this sordid place. Have to give at least one star to post this review!
The absolute worst customer service…More interested in making an extra few dollars now than in having a client for years.
I enrolled my six years old grandson in piano lessons…I paid 5 classes upfront (3 lessons + the 2 “security deposit”)…Unfortunately, the first lesson took place for the second lesson a week later; my grandson could not attend because several children in his classt tested covid positive…
And he had to be quarantined and tested; my daughter-in-law called the music store to let them know the very same day…The following week it was Monday, Labor Day…He did not attend either.
When I went last week to pay for the next month’s classes, I was told that my grandson would have no credit at all, covid or labor day did not matter and that the two weeks security deposit would not be credited either…I pulled my grandson out of the miserable place…
I should have known better when I checked the site the first time and saw the “music classes” that look like cells with no real piano to start with…You live, and you learn…
20. Goodwill Sebastian Store & Donation Center
Address: 13415 US-1, Sebastian, FL 32958 , Micco , Florida , United States
This is a big store, but I am fairly certain I walk out empty handed way to often.
I went to donate a lot of items at the sebastian roseland location and was rudely helped by a blonde woman who would not accept a younger than 10 year old TV which she does not know an age of equipment by looking at it and will not donate to this center again. You need better employee’s apparently noticed a hiring sign out front of store which needs to happen faster.
