Yesterday we went in to rent an instrument for my 4th grader starting band and I can’t speak enough on how smooth and easy the process was! When we walked in we were greeted by Jim, who immediately knew everything we needed and even our band teacher by name (impressive!). Our son can tend to be a bit shy but the charm of this place seemed to make him feel right at home! If I had to I would say the whole interaction took all of about 10 minutes and we were on our way. Definitely recommending this place to anyone I know looking for help with an instrument, thanks again!
I had a last-minute emergency repair needed for my flute right before a performance, and the staff at Middlesex Music Academy were all so kind and helpful. They fixed my flute in record time, and walked me through the whole process with the highest of professionalism. Thank you so much!
Love the staff and selections of instruments. I’ve gotten repairs done there with my old drums and my guitars and they have the best expertise when it comes to repairing instruments. Bought my first guitar since 2009 from there and I absolutely loved the feel and playing it. Matt and Jim are awesome.
The sales team made it possible for me to afford a piano for my son
I signed up for a piano lesson trial online. Their site is very confusing and it’s not clear if the lesson is in-person and online. I called them, left a message but they never called me back. In the day/time of the lesson, I called them 3 times because I was having problems to contact the teacher. The guy who works there, Jim, clearly doesn’t have any customer service skills. He was rude and unpleasant. He didn’t make any effort to help me, told me a was confused and nobody else had problems. I just canceled the future lessons there. It’s easier just hire a private piano teacher. Hopefully I will never have to deal with this guy again.
I would give Middlesex Music Academy a 0 if I was able to. I called to inquire about a $150 charge when I haven‘t been confirmed by John the guitar teacher. I made a request to Matt that Tuesday was my preference but John was booked so he scheduled Thursday at 6pm. I received a text and email from John yesterday that he had a conflict for Thursday and offered Friday. I responded via text/email that would not work and inquired if this was temporary or permanent to which I did not receive a response. I let John know this may not be a good fit then. I called today to have the charge refunded and Jim proceeded to call me names, saying I was yelling & screaming over the phone and I was being rude. No need to go into the dramatics but Jim needs a lesson in manners, telling the truth and understanding that being a manager does not give him the authority to behave poorly. Never once did I raise my voice but did correct Jim several times throughout the conversation all because i asked for a refund. Extremely unprofessional and a bad look for Middlesex Music all around. I will be taking my business elsewhere. Inexcusable & theater worthy performance by Jim today folks!!!
I paid $80 for a setup on a guitar and got it back with the strings a mile off of the neck and the floyd rose studs so high out of the body I could park a car under it. The bridge pickup was raised until it was practically touching the strings and the neck pickup was lowered to below the pickup ring. The tech then told me that 10-52 strings don’t exist. They’re light top heavy bottom and aren’t even uncommon strings. Every time I go there they give bad advice and clearly don’t know what they’re talking about. My friend tried to buy a tubescreamer (basic overdrive) and they tried to sell him a phaser instead (completely different thing).
This is not just your typical dance studio It’s a family of teachers that care about each student as if there were their own . Kids are challenge to learn with love and compassion. Everyone here is treated with respect. The school has a few of especial needs kids and they are not treated any less than the other students . My daughter dances here since the age of 3 and I couldn’t be happier with this school , she is now 15. I have received the support of everyone here in one of the most difficult moments of my life . I have no words to express my love and gratitude for everyone here especially Danielle . Don’t ask me why it took me so long to write a review . I’m just lazy . Lol. You can feel at peace that your kids here will not only learn theater and dancing skills but that they will be treated with love and respect . Thanks so much Conpany N Tempo! ❤️
Company N’ Tempo is an amazing place – basically a second home to my daughter! She has been attending classes here for over 10 years and her incredible teachers have helped her to grow so much, both physically and personally. I have recently started taking classes there, too, and they are extremely dynamic and fun! I would recommend them 100%.
My 7 year old started at Company n Tempo with piano classes. Over the summer she attended the music camp while my younger daughter went to “Prince and Princess Camp” in the same building. Needless to say, they absolutely fell in love with the studio and signed up for as many classes as they could fit in their schedule! We’re especially excited for the fall musical! The staff here has been so welcoming and friendly, making us feel like we’ve been here forever even though we’re a newer family. Looking forward to more adventures with Company n Tempo!

I purchased an item thru their Ebay store. Fair prices, excellent customer service and fast shipping!!!
I had a nice experience in his store, he is an excellent seller, I recommend him to everyone who wants a good product, he is very precise, he is real, he is not a liar, buy with him whenever you want.
Ok place to shop at.
Very very nice people, but the prices on most of the newer tools are equal to our higher then retail.
Friendly staff pretty decent deals for a pawn shop not much room for bartering but seem to offer fair prices for your retired Goods all in all definitely worth stopping by
The owner “Tim” is thif bad for business end the old leddy 2 bad
A great place to shop if you like paying MSRP for used stuff! Staff was friendly but what a joke.
Super low ballers

Really great place to stop by and get an instrument. The prices seem a bit higher but the quality is surely within the quality you’d expect.
I bought a ukulele here and the quality and sound lived up to the price.
I didn’t come to purchase any thing but the employees were more than happy to show me their selection and teach me about the purpose of the parts on the guitars/bass.
I have been taking piano lessons with Gil Flores @ The Music Score studio for the past 2 years and have had an excellent experience. Gil brings a wealth of musical experience and teaches in a very understandable, nonthreatening manner with reasonable expectations and positive feedback. Relates well to all age groups.
My daughter is signed up for lessons and her teacher is great (I hear the others are as well). Just try not to deal with the guy that owns it.
Very knowledgeable and friendly.
I tried to return my daughter’s Viola due to the school no longer providing classes. It was a total nightmare to get an answer in regards to my credit. They are very irresponsible and I am very disappointed by the lack of care towards my return which was even misplaced! Mom and dad are not helpful at all and he should really look at keeping them home, they make things worse!
Arrived at 10:00am (they open at 10am, but not today). I waited and they finally arrived. All I needed was guitar strings, but they had none. What a waste of time.
