These guys make some wonderful cabs. They look vintage. They sound superb. I will allways buy there cabs. The hellotone speakers they offer sound so good. But there’s so much more. Thank you avatar. For the wonderful cabs you make.
I bought a 2×12 Contemporary guitar cabinet about a year ago – running an Orange Jim Root Terror through it. Sounds great, looks great, no issues, great people to work with!
Best purchase experience. Dave answers calls during published hours and will help you with your order. Can’t wait to get my Compact 212, will post pictures then.
Guys! If ever you are in need of assistance regarding a musical instrument please go see them! Their customer service is above and beyond. I called to let them know I had an instrument that needed a repair/maintenance. The young man on the phone informed me that they close in five minutes, but that he would wait for my arrival. I arrived one minute before they closed, yet he was patient, calm, and understanding. Indeed I will be returning to them again. Not just to pick up our instrument, of course, but because their service and kindness did not go unnoticed.
Very helpful staff and great selection!
Great staff and atmosphere
Very helpful in finding items for your instruments. The instruction is top drawer.
4 stars because they do have a great selection, prices are fair, and the store is very clean and organized. The staff at first seemed helpful but then seemed impatient, as I was asked if I was ready to check out while I was still looking at guitars with an item in my hand. Caught me off guard as I felt rushed after only being in the store a couple minutes and wasn’t near the register. Other than that, they have a great selection of beautiful guitars and quality gear.
The employees are great but the management could use a lot of work. Basing this review on prior poor experience with the management ONLY.
Seems they still haven’t figured out their customer service skills. Lots of negative reviews on here and apologies from Northwest from months ago. I also would not reccomend Northwest Music. They told me twice they were busy and that’s why my instruments were taking so long for repairs, and couldn’t even give me a date or time when they expected them to be finished, even after having my instruments for 4 days. I told them I was coming to get them and taking my business elsewhere. Only then, after I decided to pick up my instruments that hadn’t been worked on yet did they start to work on them. This is my absolute last resort music store in town.
guys who follow you around like desperate used car salesman…over priced equipment etc..
Josh Collins never ceases to amaze by excelling at so many things, his July, 2022 Beatles “Abbey Road” solo guitar performance included. His arrangements and delivery were mind blowing, to say the least.
Josh’s guitar playing is simply the best. It is sometimes reminiscent of Larry Carlton (from the 70s). He’s an extremely charismatic performer. You can see that for yourself by checking out the “Grateful” (song title) live performance on Youtube with Próxima Parada. I use a track that Josh performs on for my podcast theme music and it adds so much to the vibe of my podcast. Josh is also a joy to work with.
I’ve seen Josh perform many times, at weddings, concerts and solo events, and I’ve never been disappointed. Every time he plays he demonstrates new levels of talent and experience, and a knowledge of music and artists beyond his years. I recently attended one of his solo concerts featuring music from the Beatles’ Abbey Road album. It was amazing watching a solo guitarist interpret the music in a way that made you feel like you were listening to a complete ensemble. And the way Josh engages with his audience brings the experience to the next level. Go see for yourself : )
Josh we felt fortunate to see you perform in such a warm and intimate gathering at the Jacklin Arts and Cultural center. Your coverage of the Beatles Abbey Road album was special! And thank you for taking our request for our dear friend. Looking forward to hearing your talented playing again! Lisa and Kelly
5. Jenny Shotwell Studios
Address: 6112 N Davenport St, Dalton Gardens, ID 83815 , Dalton Gardens , Idaho , United States
I’ve known Jenny for two decades – choir class together, I’ve watched her perform numerous times (voice, piano and acting) and taken voice lessons from her. I cannot say enough great things about Jenny. She’s not only extremely talented and an expert in her field but also a wonderful teacher. That combination is hard to find. She’s personable, easy to talk to and makes music lessons fun! I highly recommend her!
My daughter has been going to Jenny for voice lessons for over a year. She absolutely loves it. Jenny has helped her strengthen her voice, build confidence, and introduced her to a lot of new music that fits her voice. I highly recommend her for children that want to learn more and/or advance their talents and abilities.
I had Jenny as my vocal teacher/coach for four years during high school, and she challenged me each lesson to help me further develop a strong singing voice. Her knowledge of singing techniques is very expansive, and her teaching style is very adaptable to teach students of all ages! She’s very patient, knowledgeable in both musical theater and classical music, and overall an excellent teacher. I’ve considered myself very lucky to have her as my vocal coach, and I would recommend her to anyone!
Go see Gary for anything guitar or music related. Top notch sales and service.
So friendly and kind. Highly recommend.
They’re so friendly and helpful! Service is top-notch. I always take my gear to Burts for mods and repair, their labor charge is very affordable.
bought nice drum for great price. thanks 🙂
Low on inventory
Nice folks. Small selection.
I have been a loyal customer and supporter of this local business for years. However my experience there for the past several years has been less than satisfactory. I have been made to feel as if I were a nuecense there by one of the shop owners I believe.
Unless this man is just a disgruntled employee which is the vibe that he puts out each and every time I have been there during the past several years.
I have never gone there only to browse and play instruments. I only go there to purchase musical items and support local business as I strongly believe in doing so being a small business owner myself.
This man puts out a vibe so foul and offensive that I vowed not to patronize this place ever again solely because of this.
This man acts as if he’s been awakened by a door to door solicitor at his home each and every time I have shopped there.
I would not recommend this place to anyone, and I will probably make this complaint known elsewhere so that the local public can be aware.
If one is either a proprietor or an employee at any establishment where intimate customer service is the foremost priority and that individual is vicious and repulsive with an obvious disgust for customers than they need not pursue that career any longer.
I have shared my honest feelings about this. THANK you for the platform
My nephew wanted a simple stater pack with guitar and amp, etc. Called Burt’s and they said they don’t ever have them and hung up.
They fix guitars but your screwd if you got a Floyd rose. Other than that good store good people.
