W W! Guitars, percussion, strings, keyboards, brass, woodwinds lessons, books, vinyl, repairs… in such a cool store, close to home.
ATTENTION ALL GUITARISTS! If you are in need of any kind of work done to your guitar… Village Music is the place to go. I recently had an amazing experience with Jake Willoughby and Village Music. I was in need of a few upgrades and some fret re-work/setup done to my Ibanez As73. Jake’s attention to detail, clear communication and video updates of his progress with my guitar was AMAZING. Jake took my entry level guitar and made it sound and play like a top tier semi-hollow electric guitar. I will take all of my guitars to Village Music and have Jake work on them going forward. Do yourself a favor and request Jake for all your guitar repair/upgrade/setup needs. He does amazing work!
Village Music is a brilliant store full of knowledgeable and friendly staff. Let the team at Village Music know what you need and they will find a solution for you. We are very lucky to have a place like Village Music in our community. I’m looking forward to my next visit and recommend everyone check this place out. It rocks!
Called the store 3 times before arriving employee was sitting down on his phone when I walked in so I’m assuming the phone is not connected in the store.
First time guitar owner needing new strings put on was told to bring in my guitar and stings in from the car.
When I came back in I was to he’s no expert and someone could get to it later.
Not a big deal at all I just wish I would have know that before driving over and being told to go grab my item from my vehicle.
I visited this store which was rated as a great pace to sell vinyl records. Well I agreed to sell some of my records for a paltry $25 to be received via cash app, even though the clerk told me the owner has a habit to forget things, but I was assured my money would’ve be sent the same night or next morning. Still have not received my payment. Extremely unprofessional especially for such a small amount of money. Extremely disappointing and dissatisfied and would advise against utilizing this service

Great place for new kids starting out eith their first instrument.
I brought my daughter here to see about getting the lower half of her clarinet fixed. The two gentleman working were very helpful and professional. We left our clarinet there to get sent off for repairs and while we wait we got a rental clarinet. The process was headache free and quick!
Very nice staff and instructors. I’m taking lessons there and everyone had been very helpful.
It had what I needed, so that was good. However, the staff seemed like they would’ve loved to be anywhere but at work.

Great shop, knowledgeable folks, good prices. I always try to shop here rather than one of the giants to help support an awesome local business.
Bought a saxophone and a flute for my daughter at good deal. Very humbled gentleman and easy to work with. There are a lot of other musical instruments at good quality too. Will come back.
Great shop and great service! I took a bass drum in for some repairs and modifications and Mike did an amazing job for a fair price. Very knowledgable staff and tons of cool gear in there as well as all the basics a good shop should have. Happy with my experience!
The photo of the wall of guitars is pretty much their entire stock. I’ve seen low-end pawn shops that are less cluttered.
I spoke with the most racist person that I’ve come across in a long time, I think it was the owner. My child called the store on the 4th of July (several times because he is a child and did not realize that businesses are actually closed on the 4th of July). I was unaware that he called so many times. The following day I received a VERY nasty and distasteful message on my voicemail. When I returned the call, I wasn’t even given a chance to speak. He was yelling, using profanity and hung up on me. I will definitely tell everyone I know not do business here and I do not recommend doing business here (especially people of color). I will also post it on my social media pages. There are far too many Music stores that actually respect their customers.
After looking at other reviews, it seems that the owner is just a jerk by nature. I didn’t even see any responses to good reviews, only negative ones. So apparently you enjoy tounge wrestling. I feel sorry for the people that have to deal with you daily. Bless you anyway sir.
Update: Every business was NOT closed. I didn’t call my son did several times. You left a nasty vm on MY phone. And who has no class?? It’s definitely you…
I found the owner to be very unfriendly. I will shop elsewhere. I don’t like to feel like I am bothering someone when I’m spending my money.
Bought my Yamaha acoustic there last week, the guy working was friendly and helpful and the guitar plays great. Prices were in line with everywhere else seems like. I’ve been in guitar center and half the guitars on the wall are set up so badly they’re unplayable. Happy to support a local business over them. Will probably be back to buy an electric soon.
This is a pretty good little store. I bought my guitar and amp here
Rip off.go elsewhere. I use to really like bringing my daughter here but they must be under new management. Prices have gotten ridiculous!!!

Quant. Tons of sheet music, flowing over the shelves. Really nice employee who checked me out. Good return policy. And a local business. If you need sheet music for an instrument, not just piano, check it out
Lots of method books and sheet music to choose from.
Great sheet music store! The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable, and lets you try out any music on his piano, and even lets you return music if it’s still in sellable condition! He also was willing to order sheet music for my roommate, who I’m teaching to read sheet music.
Friendly and clean.
Disappointing
I try to avoid writing negative reviews of businesses because I understand that reviews can affect people’s livelihoods and I take that seriously. In this instance I feel compelled to report my experience with Opus Music due to the owner’s gross irresponsibility.
My son dropped off 18 high quality classical music scores with David to be reviewed for purchase on June 21. They were delivered in immaculate condition in a corrugated cardboard box which also had a rolled up paper shopping bag in the end to keep the books in place. I spoke with David on the phone on the day that they were dropped off and he expressed unquestionable interest in buying the books but said that they would need to be evaluated for price. I suggested that he just hold onto them and evaluate them at his convenience. I heard nothing back from him for a couple weeks so I called to see if he had a chance to look at them and left a message. After a few more days I called again and left another message asking him to check back with me and let me know what he was thinking. Over the next few weeks I continued to leave voicemails and emails pleading just to let me know what was going on. Today (August 6th) I went by the store to pick up my items after hearing absolutely nothing from David. I was greeted by a woman there and I explained that I was unhappy about David’s unwillingness to communicate with me when he is holding my property. She spoke to me about some family difficulties that they have had and apologetically suggested that she give the books back to me, to which I consented. She brought them out from the back and all of the books were sitting in the box at an angle on top of the rolled up paper bag like they had just been tossed into the box. Several of them were bent and two were creased through the whole book. I said “this is unbelievable” and showed her how he damaged the books. She apologized again and said to my dismay for a second time that David was “just trying to help me out”. Exactly how holding and damaging my property and refusing to correspond with me over a span of several weeks is “helping me out” is a mystery to me. I approached him with a simple and appropriate business transaction assuming that his interest was an opportunity to profit from the sale of some very high quality materials. I did not ask for “help” and I certainly did not ask to have my time and resources wasted because David is incapable of handling his own business. I would have been completely fine with a one-line email that said “having family difficulties right now so will not be able to evaluate your materials for…” No problem, things happen… I pick up my materials and wish him the best. I wonder how long he would have held my stuff and continued to dodge me if I had not walked in? Truly pathetic!

It’s literally the best music store in GA! Been shopping here for 9 years now, staff is extremely pleasant and knowledgeable on the products and will guide you the right way if they don’t have what you want, I highly recommend this place
Great guys and very knowledgeable about products.
The owner Tony goes out of his way to make sure I have everything that I need. This is why I keep coming back to shop with Pro Music!
I needed my hard drive recovered so they recovered it but deleted everything which I don’t believe was necessary just easier. They did put a lot of programs on my Mac but they are all antiquated except 1 and not only that they made it seem like they were putting so much on there but most of the plug-ins need authorization too plus my computer is running way slower than before but Iam glad it’s running and thankful for the programs that do work.
Real feel kinda place
Great place if you want to buy equipment. Not so much if you want to sell your items . I’ve called the owner about some things I wanted to sell to this location, each time the owner lied and said he wasn’t there or he would call back tomorrow. Very unprofessional if you ask me , if you don’t want to do something just say it .. don’t lie to a customer.
These people cap Smh. Sold me a 100 mic.
In I end up looking it up smh this same mic is 22.dollars on Amazon. I Took it back right away
Alllllll Cap Over there look up the merchandise prices before u bye
I learn my lesson
Never open, when I visit
UPDATE:
I have visited 4 times, during business hours, only to find a sign saying there are closed for a break.
Amazing guy, high spirited, knows what he’s doing. From simple repairs to custom design, Tomas can handle it all! You’ll likely even get to learn something while you’re there! *pics coming*
Tomas overhauled my Epiphone Les Paul and it sounds and plays better than it ever had in the several years I’ve owned it. It’s like a new guitar. Tomas is a great guy and communicated with me very well during the whole process. Can’t recommend enough!
I couldn’t be happier with my experience here. I brought in a kit build that needed some final adjusting and will ultimately need upgrades to make the guitar perform optimally. He quickly assessed my guitar, adjusted it, and then discussed a game plan for upgrades. He looks at your instrument in front of you and keeps you informed/educated as he works, which I found very helpful. I also got to play some of his handcrafted guitars which are phenomenal! An all around a great experience and my guitar left playing much better than when it came in. I highly recommend Holgado Guitar Works.
Super easy to work with, extremely knowledgeable, and my child, has been playing her (excellent) violin from them for two years now. It’s a great instrument.
Asa was fantastic!! Very professional and knowledgeable gentlemen!! Thank you.
Great customer service and very informative.
Rental and bow were used which was fine for starter Cello. The charge for replacing the used bow we were provided left a sour note to end rental. $70 extra charge to replace. Would not recommend renting from here for that reason. He got his extra $70 fee but won’t get another penny from me.
Really cool location. free, off the street parking. Easy in, easy out. Knowledge staff.
After spending over 30 minutes to get serviced. after calling to verify they had the equipment I needed. After I was told total and I didn’t have it all on my debit card. I ran to my bank to add the additional funds I was missing. To then wait an additional 10 min. To only THEN BE TOLD THEY REQUIRE A CREDIT CARD!!!! Complete waste of time !!!!!!! And Brooklyn could care less. They have zero signage of these requirement!! It’s not printed in the door or even the application!!!! Total sucks!!!!!! Will never come back!!!
To expensive. The price they ask for per month you can buy one
