Ernie did a good qualty upgrade on my old acoustic guitar and transformed my Strat to a slide guitar
Suuuper helpful staff.
Both of the guys there are very experienced and knowledgeable.
Best of all, they don’t try to cram sales down your throat, and will advise you of a cheaper option if one is available
Great store and owner- if you need guitar parts or service on your favorite axe – this is the place to come.
I get a round I’ll lelements Main Imm
It’s a little hard to find with no singage out front. For guitar people a good place to find.
Friendly, but I will not return. Look to grants pass for a professional Luthier.
We’re not open during posted hours of operation.
3. Hinton Guitars – Stringed Instrument Repair and Modifications
Knowledgeable staff, decent selection of a working musician’s everyday necessities. Nice prices.
Had my Ukulele strings changed there. They were knowledgeable and did it the same morning I dropped it off.
I played my horn there.
My favorite music store, have bought and sold many guitars and amplifiers there over the years.
We shall see.
Good things coming. Some pics of insperation.

Do not come here for electric instrument repairs. When I brought my bass in, I was simply told that my issue was non-existent. After I came in and demonstrated my instrument’s issue, the repairman instructed me to buy a specific input jack from the manufacturer’s website. Then when I brought the new input jack to the repairman he told me that I bought the wrong kind of jack. He offered to buy the part off me. Afterward, I called the manufacture website and discovered that I had actually bought the right part, and the repairman was incorrect. I brought my bass in again, where he claimed to have fixed the issue. But this was only temporary – my instrument is experiencing the same issue it had several months ago. I am not sure if this repairman is inexperienced or if he just blew me off.
Several friends have told me similar stories about this character from New York. I am disappointed because I’ve heard great things about the other luthier who works through this establishment.
I’ve been there 4 times since moving here.. just sucks.. over priced and very limited and you cant get any help shopping.they lost mega cash cuz they wouldnt even talk to me.try 2 street in eureka they sold me a few nice guitars at a really great price and…customer service lol..it’s really for college kids not real musicians.
5. Walmart Supercenter
Address: 900 E Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531 , Del Norte County , California , United States
I like walmart I’m never disappointed with them cause what they don’t have in store they have online
Crowded & understaffed
Not good. You are harassed At the door. Most of the shelves were empty. Associates filling orders want you to move out of their way.park in middle of aisle. Won’t ever answer phone. Tried 15 times no answer. What is going on
People pretending to be managers
How am I to know. One time masks are required, next time not. How I to know the rules
Katastrophaler Laden. Ewige Schlangen an den Kassen und es werden keine weiteren Kassen geöffnet. So darf man dann gern mal 10min warten. Und alles, wirklich alles wird nahezu einzeln in Plastiktüten gepackt. Unbedingt darauf hinweisen, dass man das nicht will!
6. Redwood Music Mart
Address: 511 F St, Eureka, CA 95501 , Del Norte County , California , United States
My teenage sons and I were “out & about” shopping in our “Old Town District” when one chimed off “can we go to Redwood Music”? “Of course” I said. The gentleman working there is a GEM We definitely will be returning in the future.
To visit a fellow band member and have him look at my horn. Everything works!
Cool little shop with guitar and piano sax guy helped me and was easy to talk to
It’s not Two Street Music but it’s music
Small, nice music store! Very friendly help!
Helpful and informative staff. They enjoy sharing music history and tips.
7. Redbox
Address: 657 US-101 N, Crescent City, CA 95531 , Del Norte County , California , United States
The employees are very friendly and attentive. Drinks are always yummy and consistent.
Same good cup of highly specialized coffee!
Great place to hang out!!! They have great customer service.
Consistent.
Standard starbucks coffee
Quick fast service it would be nice if the coffee was just a tad bit warmer kind of on the cold side
The bacon egg gouda was cold in the middle.
We wanted a dark roast coffee, but they only have Pike’s Place after a certain hour. We were fine with the adjustment. The burnt, room-temperature coffee we received was not okay. It tasted like 7-11 coffee purchased after midnight, burnt from having sat on the burner all day. Except cold. It was disgusting. The owner still hasn’t contacted us to resolve after a week. Avoid this Starbucks.
I placed my order and a nice gentleman waited on me. The girl with the Grey beanie and septum piercing was handing out the drinks. when I asked for a water, she was completely rude!! She slammed the ice in the cup, 3/4 filled it and slammed it on the counter. She completed it with a dirty look. Wow Starbucks!!! Just wow!!!
I work at a grocery store with a Starbucks, this would not be allowed!!!
The people are nice and the atmosphere is very cozy.the game’s are all up to date and lot’s of fun.then if you get hungry the cafe has some great food. Stop and enjoy all it has to offer.
Restaurant is top notch! The food was AMAZING. Steak was cooked perfectly, and the portion sizes were more than expected. The quality of the salad (bar), baked potatoe, and baked ravioli were above par. Service was prompt and friendly and the time from order to first bite was equally prompt.
The casino portion had all the popular machines and plenty of variety. Blackjack was fun, and the Texas Hold-Em tournament on Tuesday evening was a blast! Will most certainly be coming back!
Should not allow smoking!
This is a small casino. Has good slot machines, but no electronic roulette.
Absolutely gorgeous view. Great salad bar.
Smells bad of cigarette smoke. Service can be super slow. Food can be cold.
Worst food ever! We ordered rib eye steak that looked like a small New York and had some Luke warm clam chowder. Server was ok but she should have just told us run while you can. We left our food on the table
Need a upgrade
12. Mantova’s Two Street Music
Address: 124 2nd St, Eureka, CA 95501 , Del Norte County , California , United States
If Mantova’s doesn’t have it then I don’t need it! If I want it they will get it. I don’t buy from anywhere else. Not only are the guys a local business, they are caring and eager participants in the community. The selection is stellar and I have yet to see anyone beat their prices, online or elsewhere. Customer service is top notch and it’s hard to not stay and just chat forever at the store. Excellent customers too! It’s always fun to meet another Mantova’s Two Street Music fan. Go in, get a sticker and a t-shirt! Maybe a guitar and amp while you are at it. They also have real pianos!! Awesome store with a huge selection of guitar efx pedals from all the major brands and not so well known sleepers. If you play anything, go check out MTSM. You won’t be disappointed!
Great place! One of the best music stores that I have been too. All of the employees are super helpful and they have a large collection of guitars and other instruments.
We went in shopping for a particular instrument. They were extremely helpful in providing information on their various products. My favorite moment was when a dirty homeless guy walked in and asked if he could see one of the guitars in the back and the clerk dude smiled and said “sure, you just have to leave your bag up front” killer bro
Good music shop. Wide variety of musical instruments and supplies for all levels of experience. They also had some cool off the wall gadgets. Customer service was a definite 5 star rating! They were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I also appreciated the way the employees made it comfortable to pick up and try the instruments. The store hours are great, considering they were one of the few stores open on a Sunday morning. Great shop. It would be my local go to music store if I was local 🙂
Good assortment of musical instruments and accessories. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Not in the best part of old town.
These folks are down to earth and have standard instruments along with unique treasures to find
NEVER SHOP HERE!!WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
Anthony sold my autistic son a crap guitar and when it kept breaking they actually told him it was his fault because he didnt know how to play. He has been taking lessons for 3 years and is very good and has 3 orher guitars with no problems. They discouraged my autistic kid from music, the only thing that makes him happy, and should be ashamed of themselves.
Good riteal store
Let’s just say I had a complaint about an employee and I felt it was handled poorly.
13. Parkway Drive Antiques
Address: 1650 Parkway Dr, Crescent City, CA 95531 , Del Norte County , California , United States
Very clean, organized, and a huge variety the owner was super nice and knowledgeable, I will be going there more often with my out-of town guests.
This photo is taken on Railroad street as it passes over Hwy 101.
The actual storefront is farther north on Parkway, West side of the street. There are usually flags and signs, but you can’t actually see the store until you pass the driveway for it…
Very friendly owner ! Lots of stuff
Owner is a nice woman 🙂
14. Grammer Guitar Works
Address: 477 Stephens Ln, Bayside, CA 95524 , Del Norte County , California , United States
If you have a little time to have a good time, go here . You will become a regular. Books of every sort. To include boating hunting fishing. Language, sports, while there, look in all the rooms. There are good thlngs to find, just like an indoor, high end swapmeet.
I stopped by here in October when driving through town and I was so happy I did. There are so many treasures and things to see. My husband found a few books to add to his collection and I got a few puzzles for mine. Extremely well kept store and the owner is an absolute sweetheart!
I have a reminder set for my next road trip to stop by!
Very nice lady running the place. Tons of books !
Great place!
Lots of books for sale.
I was asked to leave this store due to the fragrance I had on, which I applied the previous day that stuck to my sweeter what i wear all the time. Then I was told that she did not want my kind in her store, and if i did not leave she whould call the police to escort me. I would never refer anybody to this thrift store.
Run of the mill antique/thrift shop but the prices are ridiculous. The prices the items were bought previously were left on as well. One item bought for .75 was marked at 7 dollars.
Lots of books. Overpriced on many items
16. Talent Music
Address: 29441 Ellensburg Ave, Gold Beach, OR 97444 , Del Norte County , California , United States
I love this place. I was a die-hard Gold member of Starbucks but they don’t care about there customers and one of the employees told me if I don’t like the survive I was getting I could go to Dutch Bros. So I did and I am happy
Always good, it’s a corporate thing.
My favorite coffee stop. Great offerings and pretty quick service. I have the app and that makes it super easy, plus I earn free drinks pretty quickly.
Nice people, good coffee products
Good quality service fast and convenient friendly people. And never forget it’s good coffee.
Great place for coffee at a reasonable price..
I did not enjoy the coffee. I had the Americano and my wife had caramel macchiato
They make the best drinks in town 🙂
Waited over five minutes while the guy taking orders flirted with the car ahead of me. Wound up backing up and leaving. For reference, it was only me and the other car in line.
19. Redbox
Address: 475 M St, Crescent City, CA 95531 , Del Norte County , California , United States
Great little local spot to grab a nice variety of items from clothes to books shirts and arts n craft supplies. Nice staff too
Always plenty to choose from and reasonable prices!
You never know what what you are going to find.
>it was okay.
Good prices…just kinda empty
Nice place clean
The food pantry people are very rude, scrutinizing, and treat you in such an inhumane manner as if you were stripped of your dignity for seeking help there. Not worth the food, I’d rather be hungry on the streets than be treated that way again.
I’ve shopped at thrift stores for years. Our poor neighbor who lost her husband went here after finally getting up the courage to go through her husbands things, she was turned away because the clothes were in trash bags. No offer to help an 82 yr. old woman put things in another box.
We just waited in line watching an elderly woman who was taking one item at a time out of her trunk while a younger gal was leaning on the rail letting her know what they were taking for denotions. Maybe its staffing, but its never been the job of the one donating to do this. Thrift stores sort, clean some repair, and then you throw away what you can’t use.
We left, we’ll drive to Brookings with our boxes and our neighbors.
Bought a used, but brand new mini blind for $3.00 but it was too small for my window, this place is aweful, they will not return the item as I am on a fixed income and need either in store credit or a refund,, they were rude n crude with me, never go back again….
