Went to pick up a few standard items.. Slow check-out process it seems. Maybe I was there at an “off” time. People in the store were courteous and had a vibe like they were eager to help or offer advice. I have since, developed a few guitar issues I need help with. May have a more detailed review after…
Melhor lugar para comprar instrumentos musicais. Preços bem legais.
es un tanto pequeña la tienda
They Sold a guitar I had on lay away from under me. Albiet I was past the 30 days, they assured me that as long as I made payments it would be ok. They tried to remedy the situation by selling me a more expensive guitar (same make and model). And/or 20% discount.
Stopped in while on the road. We bought some necessities and then started checking out gear. Got shushed by an employee and then mocked as we walked out laughing. Almost bought a bass, guess they don’t want the commission
20 minutes with no help. Maybe if the guy got off the store display drum kit goofing around he may have noticed me in the accessory section. First and last time here for me

Outstanding, speedy, personal service! I brought Michel a Gibson Explorer that I’d pretty much given up on. The action was high and it constantly went out of tune. When Michel was through making the precision adjustments and installing a new bone nut, I was amazed at how amazing the guitar that I’d always referred to as a ‘piece of garbage’ played and felt! Also, the job cost considerably less than I anticipated and Michel was personable and we chatted about music and instruments and he walked me through his process. I will be bringing in my other guitar to be properly set up and have already recommended Guitar Hospital to a friend.
Took my Taylor 814CE here for a neck reset. Michael did a fantastic job, the action on the low E string went from 8/64″ to 5/64″. Guitar now plays great. Nice shop, friendly atmosphere, cute dog. I highly recommend Guitar Hospital for all your guitar repair needs.
Great service and advice. They’d rather help than recommend something unnecessary.
Just poked my head in the door and spoke with Mike for a bit bringing one of my guitars next week
The owner is very knowledgeable and skilled at getting guitars fixed.
I took my guitar in for a basic set up and he told me my frets were bad and I had to send my guitar back to the manufacturer. He couldn’t get the buzzing out of my Suhr guitar. I explained that they have stainless steel frets and that every guitar is plekked.
I left and five minutes later found myself a guitar center and after 60 seconds and two turns of the truss rod, my guitar stop buzzing.
Well Michael was polite enough but he has no clue how to set up a modern electric guitar.
Save yourself time and find a real Guitar Tech. I cannot recommend Guitar Hospital. i’ve been a professional performing musician for over 30 years. I walked out of there shaking my head in disbelief. I knew he didn’t know what he was talking about but I certainly wasn’t going to go get into an argument.
I didn’t want to believe all the negative reviews , but after my experience, I can assure you they are accurate.
Really bad service
I agree with Mark Hirsch. I would never take the time to bash anyone’s business, being that I am a small business owner myself, unless I felt completely ripped off. I took my #1 in there to have a floyd nut set and adjusted. I installed the bridge myself but nut was a hassle. Was talked into letting these guys router a little more of the body cavity to improve the bridge function. “You’ll have the guitar back in 2 weeks max” I was told. Asked for a quote, was told that I would be called later in the day. Nope. 3 weeks later still no quote and no guitar. Anyhow 6 weeks after dropping off the instrument I received my 350 dollar quote, guitar is ready. Great I say. Go to pick it up and there are customers behind me and it’s closing time, so I don’t do a thorough going over on it. My bad. When I finally get a close look I see that someone completely butchered the router job and the lame attempt.to cover it up was terribly ineffective. Stain does not match at all. Action is set at 4/64, I’m told. Action is 3/16, or 12/64 all day long. Was only upset about that because I know how to read a tape measure. Now to add insult to injury. I take the guitar to a gig this past weekend and bring along my trusty strap that I’ve always used with this guitar and one of my straplocks is gone! Replaced with a non straplock facsimile. I don’t have a strap with me I can use! Unbelievable. This place is the worst unimaginable nightmare I could never have foreseen. Avoid this place like the plague, trust me. Would take them to small claims court if I thought that would help, which I don’t. As said earlier, would give 0 stars if that were an option
I had a really good experience with them, the studio is really nice and comfortable.
I came to Rob to have him tutor me in advanced Logic Pro lessons. I consider myself an “almost pro” at music production and needed a pro to take me to the top. Rob at Roundabout did just that. You can rely on his sound/audio engineering knowledge and years of experience to do the same for you!
Great local business!
