We love our Walmarts. Don’t travel after dark. We’re old retired folks. Spend the night safely before traveling on. Shop for everything we need and than some
My go too place for everything!
I had a pleasant experience everyone greets you well
It’s the only thing we have
Typical walmart
It’s a little stripped down for now so it’s going to take a couple of days to get completely restocked but the staff there are working hard to see that all of there customers are taken care of.
Pays security to keep the parking lot empty at night.
Todo los servicios no siempre están disponibles por falta de personas o quizá son gente sin ganas de trabajar te dice que te bana atender y tu esperas nunca llegan
Never use there instore pickup. Scanned my barcode. Wasn’t in kiosk. Said someone would bring out to me. Still standing by kiosk tower over 30 minutes. Asked an associate how long would it be and was told someone would bring it out the back. I could have came got from shelf and checked out by now. Goal was to be in and out.

Yum! Fresh and hot. Great location! Stays super busy!
Good place to eat
Because there food was cheap and good and they were very beautiful there
Got our order just right.
Currently drive-thru only. I ordered some chicken nuggets. They were good. I’ll probably swing by and grab some breakfast from here on my way out of town. Just passing the area as it were.
Just same old thing! Nothing special
Poor customer service, extremely long wait.
Cashier didn’t know what she was doing. She rang up my meal as individual items causing my total to be higher. When I come plained about it the manager acted as though I was putting him out.wth? All of that happened after she rang up my husband’s order wrong. Perhaps she should be mopping floors instead of running a register.
Absolutely the worst McDonald’s I’ve ever visited. Waited 10 minutes at the counter before anyone would even remotely acknowledge that I was there. The girl taking the orders just walks up to the register and just stared at me until I greeted her. Let me remind everyone that this was at 2pm so it wasn’t busy at all. I then had to wait 15 more minutes before I got my food and then the same girl who took my order also brings the food to me and hands me my food to where I literally had to reach behind the counter to grab it from her. She must not like what she does so I suggest she doesn’t work there anymore. Another example of kids these days not wanting to work for a living and have everything handed to them. I’d rate this with no Stars if I could.

Family owned business for almost 100 years! Great Fabrication and Machine shop. Owners are honest folks, running a business and supporting the surrounding community. 10/10 recommend for any Fabrication or Precision machining needs.
Great place, professional staff, and they can make anything!

Great service, perfectly prepared food and no frills restaurant…just like I like it…will definitely come back and recommend it.
Omg this place is on point. Food is outstanding
Pork tenderloin is to die for. FYI-plan to split it with someone. It’s huge.
We were driving thru, headed to Florida and saw the Red Barn. Looked interesting and decided to stop and eat. The food was great and the service was excellent. Definitely worth stopping at again.
Great
Excellent food. Great customer service.
Great food Great atmosphere Great vibe
The only reason I rated this two stars is because the crab claws were okay that my mom got and the staff was good. I got the two pork chops and they were awful. They had no flavor whatsoever. I tried putting a little lemon juice and sauce on it to make it better but it still tasted bland. I’ve been to about 25 different steak places and this one was by far the worst. Not to mention, the food was way overpriced! The crab claws were almost $20! That’s the price at the beach. Also, it smelled terrible in there. There were people smoking upstairs and the smell went downstairs and right to where we were eating! I tried this place again to give it a second chance and they still let me down. Never going back.
I was treated awful. I am 49 years old and a business owner and I have never been treated like that in my entire life over a to go order. By the manager. Edna Brown. I picked up my order and had to go back for silverware, not even an apology from anyone. I can live with that no problem. I ordered a cheeseburger with fried mushrooms as my side. The mushrooms were raw inside. Pure dough oozing. It almost made me sick. Still no problem, everyone makes mistakes. So I called them to ask if they would make me another plate, that’s when Ms. Brown gets on the phone and acts like she don’t believe me. I told her I was bringing the food back and I just wanted another plate. She said she wasn’t giving me another cheeseburger, the cheeseburger had not been touched but it was ordered as a plate. Why would I eat a cold hard cheeseburger when they messed up my order? I told her that if she couldn’t give me a hot plate of food that I had already paid for and had already made two trips and fixing to make the third one. When I got there she confronted me and said that I threatened to come get the money out of her cash register. What? This woman is crazy, I would never say anything like that to anyone and still refused to give me another cheeseburger until all the employees gathered around and then she changed her mind. I stood in the back by the register visibly shaking and trying not to cry. And then I can hear her joking loudly from the kitchen saying don’t ask me nothing I’m fired! And laughing about it. What is wrong with her? How can the owner have someone like that running his restaurant. I asked to speak to the owner and she thought that was funny also and told me I would have to wait till tomorrow but wouldn’t even give me his name. Please think twice before going here. I can’t believe she hurt my feelings and embarrassed me that way when I just spent more than $33.00 on a to go order.
13. Aloha Hawaiian Grill
Address: 1500 US-80, Demopolis, AL 36732 , Demopolis , Alabama , United States
Very clean. Good service. Food was prepared well. Sticky rice was great. Teriyaki beef was tender and tasty. Macaroni….all the food was excellent and well priced. Will go back to try more.
Recently moved to the area and saw a Hawaii Grill…. had to see what it was about…. First time in and won’t be the last. Great food, surprisingly well priced, and friendly faces
wife: you want to eat food from a gas station?!?
me: some of the best food is from gas stations around this area….
I’m not telling her, and she’s not letting me know, but I was right, after 20 years together I was finally right about something!!!
Steak is worth the upcharge. Chicken is great. Pulled pork is better than I anticipated.
This down-home servin’ with a flare of the Hawaiian. Feeling like Demopolis but tasting of the islands, your taste buds take a vacation but your mind doesn’t wander much if you step out the front door. There’s a ton of potential that hasn’t been capitalized upon but I’m not certain if this C-Store add-on can really take off in the little D. If it was back in the Big D–Dallas, Texas–I’d either incorporate stoneware dishes and legitimate cutlery to make it more sustainable (and relatively higher end) or I’d rein in the menu a bit to make it more affordable while utilizing Chinette-esque disposables in order to give the establishment a greater touch of class. In that note though, I’m just not sure how long this little diamond in the rough is going to stick around without a few tiny (but very notable/ noteworthy) changes.
Good food. I do suggest I get more side items. Maybe a fruit cup.
I love this place you can tell it’s fresh because of the taste and sometimes you can see, hear, and smell them making it in the back really good would recommend.
You can’t call yourself a Hawaiian grill when you don’t know what musubi is. This is the most basic of all hawaiian cuisine and it’s sad that it’s not even a part of the menu.
Update…..purchased the beef, rice and macaroni salad. The portions were smaller than usual. The macaroni had an old taste or maybe it wasn’t made well. The beef was overcooked. I was hoping for better quality this time……
Portions of my food tasted like it was warmed on a paper plate, possibly the flour tortilla. On another note, it is not as clean as it was since the Parrs doesnt own. Looked like the floors was mopped with dirty water, tables streaky, and the back cooking area looked dingy.
They messed up my order, they said come back and they would correct it, I returned the next day to get the right order but they didn’t give me the complete order they gave me the meat order they left out but on my first order they put pork instead of chicken and I don’t eat pork so I gave the plate away. I feel my whole order should have been replaced.

Great place to walk
Out walking my dog at the city park. Close to home and well kept grounds. I felt completely safe at the park even though it was dark when we left
Loved this town, so much fun enjoyed the crafts, and festivities,
Very nice and peaceful place@
It was the first day of the Fall Farmers Market. There wasn’t many venders with fresh produce, but there were a few crafts and a few home canners selling there product. We were able to find a vender that had bushels of peas, butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and okra. He also excepted the state’s voucher for farmers markets.
Demopolis Public Square was a nice experience, definitely worth the time. I wasn’t even aware of the nice additions, and seeing these antiques was very enjoyable.

Amazing venue. Firstly, the decor and setting is quite special. Service was excellent with very attentive wait staff.
The entree and desert menu is a jewel. The ambiance, soothing playlist, delicious meal with attention to taste, color, and aroma. Whether you prefer poultry, beef or seafood, your experience at the River City Soul is truly a sensual pleasure.
River City Soul restaurant catered our 55th class reunion on August 11, 2023. We had a real soul food menu consisting of : fried and baked chicken, fried fish, collard greens, macaroni and cheese, candied yams, potato salad, baked beans, rolls/cornbread muffins and peach cobbler for dessert. The food, and I mean all of it was delicious and cooked to perfection(hats off to the chefs). Not a single person had anything negative to say. A big “Thank You” to owner Tommie Reese for a job well done, he personally delivered the food. Locals and visitors, please support this amazing restaurant!!
Excellent food – excellent service
Was welcomed by Timmy. He sat us down and was very friendly. Great service from Brittany, our waitress. Clyde, another waitress was also friendly. We ordered the grilled Salmon which was seasoned well and tasted delicious. The owner, Tommy, came and made sure all was well. The ambiance is very nice, table cloth, candle on table. We will definitely be back. Finally a nice place to have a date night in Demopolis. I recommend everyone come to visit and support.
Okay, first of all, this was the first Sunday that the restaurant was open. They had plenty of help and a great menu. It was only a little pricey, for $15 you get meat and 3 vegetables. They’d been overwhelmed by a large family that came in, so we had to wait 45 minutes on our food, but they did explain the situation, so we decided to wait. When the food finally came, it was hot, and it was good. As far as the service, everyone there kept checking in on us, but they seemed nervous and/or maybe inexperienced. I’d still very much recommend River City Soul. I think our experience was unique because it was brand new, but the restaurant is clean and appealing. The service is very courteous and caring, and the food was good. River City Soul also does a Lot of take-out.
Nice place to go. The food is good. It’s super busy on Sunday so be prepared to wait a bit. Seating is limited.
Delicious food, appetizer was perfect.. the salad was fresh greens Not iceberg! Wait, did I forget to mention the homemade blue cheese dressing! Grilled shrimp was seasoned perfectly. My potato was cooked just right. Staff was friendly! My husband’s grilled shrimp po boy was pleasing to both palate and eyes! Love the vibe and overall atmosphere.
