Besides having a small studio it was fun to visit. Everyone there is so nice and If you stop by you get a tee shirt,a mug, a pen, and a note pad also some coppies of the books of the month. If
you Don’t listen to the show then you might not understand why it’s cool though.
Good radio program from the Lutheran perspective, although they invite non Lutheran Christians as well.

Understaffed. When I did talk with someone he helped me above and beyond! Highly knowledgeable and helpful staff! Thank you!
My one stop shop for audio and video needs.
Great place to shop ! The staff is the best !
Some people should practice at home instead of at the store. Nobody wants too hear you beat on the drums when you not going to buy. Practice at home .
It was while since i visited. Not bad.
Nice selection. Distracted employees.
I get stuff here because it’s close to my house. The gear selection leaves you wanting more. It seems like they carry only really cheap gear & high end gear. Shop at an independent dealer
I ordered an item that was supposed to be there in less than a week, I didn’t recieve a call after a week went by so I called to check. The order specialist told me the item had not ship yet and he didn’t know why; he went on to explain that finding out further details were above his pay grade and offered nothing else..
They have sure went down hill since they first opend the selection is poor and to have a guitar restrung. is to expensive very disappointed
The staff are very patient. We spent several weeks hunting for the right bassoon and getting all the financing squared away.
Great help with finding equipment and ordering it! Nick and Miguel were able to provide me with the right equipment and were able to answer any questions I had!
I bought an electric drumset from here. It was an overall great exerience. The gentleman that helped was a joy. He was very knowledgeable and resourceful. Answered most of my questions off the top of his head and quickly researched and found any others.
The drumset quality is excellent. It’s the same drumset that has been sitting in the corner on display. It works great. No lag, no delay, great sounds, great response, great function.
Awesome store with an even more awesome staff.
Great selection!
This location was respectful and as helpful as they could be in my experience; HOWEVER, when i reached out to customer service regarding being double charged the representative hung up in my face. I called back 3 additional times requesting to speak with a supervisor and was immediately hung up on yet again. UNBELIEVABLE.
7. Swing City Music Co
Address: 1811 Vandalia St, Collinsville, IL 62234 , Caseyville , Illinois , United States
I got an Epiphone SG (G-400) Pro from Swing City Music and it arrived within a week, had no issues at all, and played great. Im a lefty so I always have issues getting guitars and I found one on their website almost as soon as I started looking. Would definitely recommend them to anyone.
This place is way better than any other shop around here. Really friendly staff as well, and killer variety of stuff.
We take our grandson to the Edwardsville store for piano lessons with Ms Diane. He looks forward to his lesson every week. All the store staff have got to know him, addressing him by name each week. We drive from Florissant to East Alton to pick him up to take him to each lesson.
A good old school music store.
It’s a really good place. Sorry, we were the ones that crashed intk the building
I frequently purchased merchandise over my years, normally I do business up north. I decided to buy a guitar for a gift about several months later I noticed that the bridge on the guitar was coming apart so I took the guitar back for exchange but was refused to exchange because of warranty. I didn’t expect a new guitar to come apart especially at the bridge we have several at home and never had an issue besides basic maintenance. I don’t feel as if I need to bring rulers, micrometers, calculators to purchase a instrument. Please spend your hard earned money at some other music shop if you want quality and respect.
You are crazy if you think these people would for some reason actually try to help a guy who has in the last year has spent a great deal of money with them. I plan on telling every musician I come across to stay away. Don’t wast your time with them or there repair men. Terrible
I am in a spot where I need a bass today. I came in 10/8/22 ready to buy. After 10 minutes, a sales associate said hi from across the room. After another 12 minutes, every staff was chatting with the one other customer in the store, ignoring us. No wonder the place is empty every time I drive by. I hate going to guitar center, but places like this leave you little choice when you’re ignored and not helped at all. I couldn’t reach the bass I was going to purchase, so I’m just done waiting for the chatting giggly employees hanging in their “clicky” circle.
My son started taking classes to learn guitar about 15 months ago at the School of Rock in Miami. In that short amount of time, not only has he learned how to play a musical instrument very well, but his self-confidence has gone through the roof. He has had the opportunity to perform live with some amazingly talented young people. The teachers are enthusiastic and center their instruction around each individual child’s likes. They are committed and caring ; and the children reap the rewards of that kind of dedication. We are so happy we found this place!
I’ve always dreamed of singing confidently in public, and this instructor has made that dream come true. Their support and expert guidance have been a game-changer for me.
My son is 4.5 and teacher Nicole is awesome. She does make it fun for him so that he does not lose interest. My son has been picking the information up so well and I am so proud of teacher Nicole and him due to my son not losing interest and not feeling intimidated my the piano. This place is very clean and professional. Thank you for being available and the wonderful experience.
Great instructors make a lot of a difference because they know how to break down the long solos into a few easy to learn section by section. Stop wasting your time searching for accurate free tabs online. Spend a little bit but you will improve a lot. Many of our favourite bands’ lessons to choose from.
10. McDonald’s
Address: 1 Rauckman Dr, Caseyville, IL 62232 , Caseyville , Illinois , United States
I stopped for a small fry and large coke to go with my pizza. The fries were hot and the soda was refreshing. The service was fast and good. These items completed my Saturday dinner. Deliciousness! LOL
This is consistently one of the best McDonald’s operations I go into. The service team is friendly and outgoing even at the early hour I’m usually there and the food is always prepared to spec.
Always good and fresh!
Most of my food was warm besides my fries they were a little cold and for some reason not salted.
See
Always good
All good except the fries tasted like they had NO salt on them at all.
Terrible service
I gave this restaurant one star only because I couldn’t give it zero. I have waited over an hour and a half on a doordash order for a customer and still have got nothing from the team other than telling me to have the customer cancel the order. Since my customer does not want to cancel their order I am forced to sit and wait. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to anyone.
The employee taking my order was super friendly. But the fries had no salt and there was no cheese on my double cheeseburger.
11. Miller Music Inc
Address: 4510 N Illinois St #3, Swansea, IL 62226 , Caseyville , Illinois , United States
Miller Music is the only place I would go for my musical needs. Steve is very knowledgeable and professional. His prices are the best in town and he helped my daughter pick out the perfect sax. I will recommended Miller Music to any parent looking to rent or purchase an instrument for the child.
Steve was great to work with! Very quick turnaround on an instrument repair. I would recommend them.
What a great experience we had at Miller Music! We called around to so many places and they were not very helpful or WAY to pricey . Our 13 year old hit the mouthpiece of his trumpet and it was stuck in. We tried to pull it out ourselves but only mad it worse. Anyways, called Miller’s and he said no problem, in 35 years there was only one he couldn’t get out! So we dropped in and in about three minutes he had it out, and he cleaned up the mouthpiece ! Y’all he charged us $3.20. Hands down this is the best music store we have been to. Great customer service over the phone and in person! This will definitely be our go to place!
They appear to no longer be in business.
Do not put an item on consignment with this business. You will never hear from them again. Disgraceful business tactics + no communication regarding the issue. I will do everything possible to discredit this business.
I took my niece to Miller Music to see about having an issue fixed with her flute. The guy working looked at it for a few seconds and said he didn’t notice any issues (leaks) visible to the eye. I then asked if it would be okay for her to play the instrument for him so that he could listen, and hopefully make a diagnosis that way. He responded with, “Yeah, hurry up.” Needless to say, the instrument is still having an issue. When we purchased the couple of instruments we have, he was polite. Now that there’s an issue, “Mr. Nice Guy” left the building. I’d never recommend anyone to buy anything else from them again.
The owners were rude and condescending. I got the impression that not EVERYONE was welcome in their store. They may have a large selection of music, but I’ll take my money and my dignity to other music stores.
If you have never used Heil equipment you are missing out. Bob Heil is a pioneer of live sound and we are fortunate he has continued his quest for providing quality products.
Just fantastic. As great as advertised.
heil sound Rocks!! Big thanks to Debbie for helping me out!.. I’ll for sure be coming here for all of my microphone needs! Keep up the good business!
15. Rich’s Record and Audio
Address: 131 W Main St, Collinsville, IL 62234 , Caseyville , Illinois , United States
Really enjoyed my (first) visit to Rick’s. Was treated like a guest, opposed to random customer. They have good selection of mostly new records and an exceptional lineup of turntables. They happily demoed all that I asked to hear. What a great, “real word” listening room.
A really good place to find new and used vinyls. The owners were extremely nice. Much better deals on vinyls than big chain stores. They also repair old turntables and sell new sound equipment.
Nice place
I had no expectations in this store. However when I came in there I was met with friendly people. Very helpful staff got answers to my vinyl related questions bought a few items. Very satisfied with my purchases.
I love having a local record store. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly and has a nice selection of sound equipment. Used and new vinyl. Drop in you will like it.
Ok
Bought much of my home theater equipment from the owner years ago and I’ve had a bit of social interaction with him the past couple years. I took a subwoofer to him for repair of a very common problem with that particular piece of equipment. I’d had the very same problem a few years back and a very well-respected sound man fixed it for about $50.00. He even picked it up and delivered it back for that price!!! Unfortunately, he has since passed. Anyway, I even took written directions and a link to a video detailing repair to help with Rich’s repair. Of course, I paid a “bench fee”, and received a call a couple of weeks later telling me that they were going to outsource the repair. Another couple weeks and I was told it could be repaired for $225.00 and would be ready the next week. I agreed to the high cost because the sound is normally exceptional. Another two weeks and I get a call from Rich’s who say “we’re gonna have to decide what you want to do with this subwoofer”. I explained that it was my understanding that the subwoofer should have already been fixed and repaired. This is when they tell me that on “closer inspection” they had discovered that the amplifier was shot. I explained that it had played beautifully until it developed the all too-familiar hum and that here were countless sources reporting the same remedy. On that and two other occasions Rich’s insisted the amp was shot and would cost around $450.00 to replace!!! Remember, I had paid $50.00 before to have the same problem fixed and that I had even provided Rich’s with detailed work instructions and a video on the repair. I told them to forget the repair but that I would be picking the subwoofer up. It took another two weeks or so before it was “back to the shop”. Long story short… I took the subwoofer, and the same instructions, to a friend with a little soldering experience. The man was not an electrician or involved in electronics sale or repair in any way. Well, he did the repair as they were detailed in the directions and video that I provided and a week later the sub was up and running as good as new. Sad, but in my opinion, Rich’s was hoping to sell me a replacement subwoofer and more than likely resell mine. All I can say is BUYER BEWARE!!!
High price limited selection. Trying to make vinyl into a high priced hobby. Go down the street.
I was quoted a price of $59.99 to clean my receiver. I brought it in then the story changed to $59.99 an hour and they werent sure how long it would take. 1) im not writing you a blank check especially after being quoted a price.
2) if youve ever cleaned a receiver you should have an idea as to how long it takes: if you havent i dont want you practicing on my vintage receiver .
3) i get if there were other issues found it would cost more but the cleaning should be fairly cut and dry.
Might be a fantastic record store but i wouldnt bring anything here to be worked on !
Slackers is all ways a good store for anything old gaming or records it really awesome place I do miss there old location tho there is a bit less in the old place but it still a really good place to go to I will be back again.
If you like old school, Slackers is your place. Love their arcade as well!
Great store, nice employees. My only complaint is the turntable system which is very cheap and can damage the records due to blunt stylus. It would only take a small investment to correct this flaw which would improve customer service and protect their investment (records).
Some good deals
Good as fantasy books.
Traded 5 horror movies, still in their original packaging, some hard to find gems, easily $80 value for $11 store credit, barely $2.20 per film they will sell for $15- $30. Complete rip off, I see why their selection is going down and shelves seem to be lighter , no one wants to mess with those cheap trade in prices especially for how much they charge in resale. I do not recommend trading with them.
Kind of a whole in the wall slackers. I’ve heard glen carbon is a better location.
Lot’s of great stuff, but the blaring metal music gave me a severe headache. I more or less left the store after very little searching.
