Nice place large collection very friendly staff!they also have free stickers!
Great selection great people working there
Been a customer since 1985 when I lived on McCoy Naval Base.
Tiene variedad y buenos precios !
I’ve been driving past this place for months, and I finally decided to stop in and check it out. It’s a nice little small record shop with some decent offerings. From cds to vinyls and everything between them, they have a nice little small collection of most genres. While I was there, there was a nice friendly lady asking if anyone needed anything or was searching for something in particular. I unfortunately walked out empty-handed since I didn’t see anything that caught my eye, but I’ll definitely come back in the future.
Looking for a record- this is the place in South Orlando. Staff was very helpful.
I called and whoever answered asked me to hold on and he never came back. Tried calling back and the number was busy…for 20 minutes…hmmm
Nice guy at the counter, but their prices have doubled in the last year.
Arrived at 5:30 when they close at 7pm to look and no signs it was just closed! Drove over an hour. Very disappointed.
I love this store so much, very friendly and helpful in every area. I also love how they let you play an instrument to try it out before you buy it. I come here every time I need reeds/accessories, etc. definitely a 5 star place!
Always great service and good price
I had a quick & easy experience finding exactly what I was looking for. Wally helped me over the phone before granting a price match on the items I bought in store! Great service!
Much nicer since we don’t need masks. It was rough during those indoctrinating times. Basically comply without real science and medical facts. Tyler was a great help. Very welcoming and friendly. Remembered what I called for and needed.
I was trying out acoustic guitars looking to make a purchase when an employee came in the room and told me to stop trying out guitars as he had to sanitize them at the end of the day. The proceeded to slam the door on the way out hard enough to shake the wall and give everyone inside the room a scare.
I did end up purchasing solely because the price was too good to find anywhere else, but will not be coming back
Edit: Was called and apologized to. I can appreciate a store that is actively working to resolve problems.
Customer service not very good. I had to wait too long.
There’s no customer service no one trying to help you find what you’re looking for
I buy most of my equipment from American musical supply but i needed and adapter and headphones so i made the trip to your store. I was looking at the adapters for what seemed like a long period of time and not one person asked if I needed help. SO I grabbed the headphones and went to check out and the guy at the check out made a comment on how he did not make commission and was deciding on who to give it to is when I said no one because not one person asked me if I needed help. So i went home and ordered it online and it will be at my door tomorrow by the time i get home from work. Wont go back unless it is something I absolutely have to have right then.
Went in today to buy a Roland drum kit. Didn’t talk to a single employee the whole time. No one greeted us and no one was there when we walked out the door. There was initially an employee in the drums department, but when we walked in the drum room, he disappeared behind the employees only door and never came back out. Waited around 15 minutes or so in the drums department looking at various things, and no one ever showed up. Selection of drum pedals and hi-hat stands was abysmal. The cymbal room only has a fraction of the cymbals it used to have compared to when I first started drumming about 12 years ago. The price tags for the electronic drum kits did not correspond to the demo kits in front of them. Place felt relatively empty and like it’s not going to be around much longer. I thought I was doing the right thing by supporting local business, but ultimately left empty-handed and will order from Amazon.

Inattentive staff
This guy was not friendly at all.he was selling me something that I was looking for a good price he told me that was the cheapest which was a lie there’s one I got for half the price..
PISSED OFF… I HAVE AN EVENT THIS WEEKEND AND DONT HAVE MY DDJ-SR THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO COME WITH MY PAIR OF EV ZXR12 AS ADVERTISED ON AMAZON. I EMAILED A PERSON NAMED RENE AND SHE SAID SHE WOULD CHECK THE ORDER. I NEED MY CONTROLLER
A+ Customer Service –
Purchased a Module that I could not find anywhere else –
Transactioon and shipping went smoothly!
Thanks a Ton!
Excellent customer service, was prompt in correcting my address. Easy to order from their website and my module was boxed instead of plastic packaged. Came with a cool inspirational Tarot card too! Will be making further purchases from them if they have stock on what I’m wanting.
Amazing experience purchasing a Eurorack module from sunset synths! Super fast shipment and very friendly customer service, which goes a long way in my book
7. Band Room
Address: 3233 Curry Ford Rd, Orlando, FL 32806 , Edgewood , Florida , United States
A great place to take guitar lessons
Available 11 to 5 Monday and Wednesdays
Just stopped in because my son’s trumpet had a stuck/jammed mouthpiece. It was my first time visiting this store and I have to say that Ricky/team’s service was fantastic. I appreciate the advice and feedback. From now on, I will make this my “go to” music store.
Okay.
Dropped off a flute for repair and was given incorrect completion dates twice(9/13-24/18). I finally gave up and asked for a refund. Additionally, after taking the flute to another repair shop, I was informed that the repairs the band room intended to perform were “only a temporary fix”. I was able to purchase a flute of equal quality for ten dollars cheaper at Sam Ash. Shop around before setting on this place. The staff was friendly though.
BAND ROOM is the company that my kids school suggests their students rent their instruments through. It appears that most people are pleased with their service. I am NOT one of them! The “MEET YOUR TEACHER” evening I signed a contract for my kids instrument rentals. I paid cash that evening and submitted my account information for a recurring bill for a duration of six months. The instruments were to be delivered that following Monday. We have yet to receive anything and I’m getting charged monthly for a service we have yet to receive.I have tried multiple times to reach someone in this company. I will never use them again and will inform anyone I know of my experience. MUSIC & ARTS is ABSOLUTELY % the company to go through. At least they actually provide the service they advertise for.
I needed a flute for my band class and the staff was so unprofessional. They had no clue what they were talking about whatsoever! Sam Ash is the place to go.

We were out in the area killing time and had decided to got to the comic store next door. Upon arrival I remembered that I had wanted to bring my youngest here after seeing them the last time I was here and they were with me. We wandered in here first and were greeted immediately. We took our time and perused just about everything they had. One of the first things I noticed was the violins on the wall in back so I started there. They had a decent selection with good prices. Having just purchased them one for christmas I was not in the market for one but I still appreciate nice ones. I proceeded to check on my child to see what they were finding in the accessories. They picked out a new rosin and some mouthpiece cleaner for their trumpet. We went on to look at the sheet music selection. It has been a long time since I have seen sheet music in a smaller store and there was a good mix here. They picked out an Essential Elements for strings for their sibling as they are about to start learning to play the violin also. To round out our purchases I found some interesting ornaments and singled out a grand piano thinking of their piano teacher at school and they wanted it as a christmas gift for them. Before we left we stopped to check out the selection of guitars as they had quite a few that we liked. While looking I singled out a bass that I really liked and showed them as they do not have one yet. It was a preferred brand for us and the price was excellent. I was saved from making the jump (for now) as my oldest contacted me saying they were ready to be picked up. As I wanted to check out the comic store before we were on our way we settled for what we had. I expect that I may be back again before their birthday in a few months checking out the instruments again with a more serious interest in making the purchase. I spent a short time speaking to the manager while we were there and she was very pleasant and knowledgeable. The employees were wearing masks and acted very professionally while interacting with customers both in person and on the phone. If you are in the market for something musical I would recommend these stores. Pricing is good and they seem to care about what they do.
Music & Arts
Excellent customer service I give 5 stars to Mr Matt, Adam & Alayan for there great help also letting me try there Tenor saxophone, and very kind of guiding me which saxophone fits best! Even I travel all the way from Saint Cloud they are Very kind workers I suggest this store and employees to everyone who lives in Florida or visiting! PS: Mr John who fixes instruments at Music & Arts is also excellent fixing my soprano saxophone 2 years ago and worked very well! #Johnrhythm
Tienen confianza en el cliente y lo dejan que busquen lo que desean, buena atencion y tienen variedad.Deben buscar un lugar mas amplio.
Would give them 5 but their shipping sucks
Pretty good little shop. Friendly staff. Does inhouse lessons. Mainly focused on school band instruments.
Prices are much higher than guitar center, musicians friend and wwbw, and yet, music and arts is owned by guitar center. Music lesson prices are ridiculously higher than everyone else. Have to go into a store to apply for a credit card? Ridiculous!! They need to offer an online credit application like the rest of the world. Will not do business with music & arts for these reasons.
I was not impressed with this location. The manager on the phone sounded friendly, but was slightly strange and rude in person. They were very disorganized and their computer system constantly would not be working. The bathroom was out of order all the time. when you walk in there is a horrible smell with a dingy feel to it. The rest of the staff was nice but poorly managed. I think this franchise is only looking to make money and not have personal relationships with their customers who come in for lessons. I would steer away from music and arts, because I’ve had similar experience when I lived in Connecticut as well. find yourself a local place that offers lessons on a personal level.
Worst customer service lack of communication yes the first time this is happening need to tran the employee better and teach them how to communicate with us the customer and I never received any response from the manager at all
Love going to this store. Everyone I have encountered there is friendly and helpful. Just had 2 guitars worked on there and Rob did a great job. It was like getting whole new guitars.
I love what they did to my guitar. This is one of those few places out there where everything still works the way it’s supposed to. Good people, great service, fair pricing. The luthier Rob is a great guy, 100% recommended.
Attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. Great prices, too.
Great service. Came in while they were closing and they let me in…got my XLR cables (expensive). They did not have a bag to put them in!
Wide selection of music instruments and accessories. Reasonably priced.
have everything you could need great staff
I took in a brand new bass guitar and they were offering me a hundred bucks for it and I took it to the pawn shop and just got 160 and I was going to buy one of theirs and I told the guy to give me a lease 140 and he let a sale walk out the door.
my friend and i stood at the counter in the percussion area register waiting for almost 10 minutes (with workers around, doing nothing but talking but noticing i was there) before i had to ask for help. i know sam ash works in sections (ie: woodwinds, percussion, brass, etc) but people from different areas saw i was waiting and didn’t notify the designated employee. someone from guitars helped me but halfway through my transaction, the employee from the percussion area abruptly came and told his colleague to go to his area. he talked to me almost dismissively as a woman percussionist, asking if i was sure about things i was saying and about the equipment i was buying. that could just be me looking into it, but the person i was shopping with pointed that out to me as well so i doubt it was just me. not a good experience overall.
Very poor talking service. So rude never go back.

Owner was there, and service was good, he helped me search and find a guitar right for me. He tried to find a guitar to fit me, by using the feedback I gave him. Overall, I had a great buying experience.
I had been looking for a guitar that was lightweight and a little smaller to suit my needs right now, but still had great sound. I decided on a Taylor mini – e. I looked at many reviews and videos online before deciding what brand I might like and Taylor seemed to be the brand I felt good about buying.
I wanted to be able to actually play the Taylor Mini – e guitar before I would ever buy any guitar. as each one has it’s own individual sound & feel depending on your particular ear and how the instrument feels to you.
I went to Taylor’s website for an authorized dealer and this is where I saw R&R Guitar store in Longwood Florida. I also wanted to shop local.
I called and spoke to Rob who was very kind and helpful. I was especially pleased to learn that he had many of the different wood options in the style mini e I was interested in, including the Mini -e Koa Plus, in stock for me to select from.
I can’t say enough good things about how pleasant Rob made my experience. The store is very nicely laid out, clean and organized, with instruments beautifully displayed on the walls. I had a hard time trying to decide which one I liked best of the Taylor Mini-e’s as they all had an amazing big sound which I found surprising for this smaller sized guitar. Rob was very helpful in any question I asked and also set up an amp. so I could hear the difference, as the “Koa plus” came with a different pick up, than the other regular Taylor Mini-e’s
Ultimately after much time on my part I decided on a beautiful Taylor’s GS Mini – e Koa plus. A big thank you to R&R Guitar and Rob in making my purchase a great experience. He went the extra mile to be sure I was happy with my purchase. I can’t thank him enough. If you are looking at buying a really nice guitar or just have questions or even in need some of the extras’ that come with owning and playing guitar, I highly recommend this shop. Whether you call or stop in to buy or browse, he had a nice selection of brands & they also had a nice big selection of Ukuleles. If you can, shop local, it will make you feel good and it’s always good to support your local small businesses..
Best selection of new Taylor acoustics in town. Great prices and 5-Star service every time.
Replaced strings of my daughter’s guitar. Did not tune at all. Poor communication. Was on the phone while checking me out and had difficulty asking / answering questions. Stated would clean up guitar that had been in storage but wasn’t touched. Took several days to replace strings. Would not go here again. Poor service

Came in to get my classical guitar restrung with a fresh set, they did it right on the spot. I was expecting them to hold my guitar a few days and let the luthier do it, but no, right before closing they helped me find the perfect strings, and get a wonderful rich warm sound I was looking for, and I was a happy camper.
I’ve bought at least one beautiful acoustic from here, and brought in a few other guitars for fixing or servicing. The staff is always friendly, knows anything and everything about what they have, and is courteous to the customers.
I also came in once to get some guitar slides, and they helped me find the right one, and introduced me to the newest one they had as well. I’ll continue to support this company as long as I’m in Polk. Thanks again for that last minute help!
Staff was very accommodating, knowledgable, and friendly
Super friendly and knowledgeable people here. I’d recommend way over Guitar Center.
Very nice man at counter was very nice. We just looked around.
This place is packed with goodies for a musician.
Good selection, friendly and knowledgeable service.
Went in there to buy a drum head because Guitar Center wasn’t open yet or I’d certainly have went there instead. EVERYTIME I’m in this store I get watched and questioned like I’m going to steal something. It’s a very uncomfortable environment. No other customer was in there yet, and as soon as I walk in, they’re all stopping what they’re doing and looking at me asking if I needed help, and I said “I’m just getting a drum head…thank you.”, and I wasn’t looking for 2 minutes, and heard another employee say “everything okay over there?”….YES GEEZ!!!! Can someone take a few minutes and decide what product they want!? Just because you’re looking doesn’t mean you’re plotting a GD theft! It’s a $20 drum head! Gimme a friggin’ break! And ya know…much to their surprise…I PAID FOR IT! Guitar Center sucks too, but at least they give you freedom to comfortably browse at inventory without being asked what you’re doing. There’s no excuse for that behavior. Innocent until proven guilty….not in that place, it’s guilty until they see otherwise. From now on, I’ll wait for Guitar Center to open. I won’t spend another dime in Carlton until they get the FBI…I mean, their employees under control…
Went here to rent an instrument for my son…girl asked us to fill out application they want to know not just who you are and account info but employer name and number as well as spouse name number and a friend or nearest relative. I have never had to give the name of a friend or relative to buy a car or even a house….its an instrument…after giving them all that info the girl was rude I asked for manager he wasn’t any nicer and still question us about employment why I do not know both me and my husband are employed I just started pulling out my DL, bank card CWP….I mean what in the world…its a $1300 instrument!
Their sales associates have the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.

Excellent customer service and attention to details from Michael! Will highly recommend this store for their professionalism.
Ambiente tranquilo, y te atienden bien.
Exelente profesionales muy buen ambiente las clases de guitarra las mejores
Plenty of options if you’re after guitars, bass, drums, keyboards or merchandise (hard6 tee-shirts, mins, stickers, etc)
Lo mejor de Orlando, instrumentos económico, buena atención.
This is my favorite music play store. The only thing is that usually you think that gets a good prices on sales event but after couple of months you realize that this is the regular one
I can understand being short staffed but when no one raises their heads to, at the very least, acknowledge you are there is unacceptable. There are TONS of place to buy audio gear. 30 mins wasted.
Horrible customer service. Ordered a Gibson J45 Avant Garde and received a J15 cutaway instead. When I returned it, the staff told me that they would find me a J45 and would call me back that day. They failed to call me back and when I called again they told me that they did call me, which simply is not true. I asked for a refund and the staff hung up the phone and now I am still waiting for them to call me back. As of right now, I have no guitar and Guitar Center still has my $1,600. They never apologized and failed to treat me with respect. I have no clue when or if I will even receive my refund. As soon as I receive my refund, I will order the guitar I originally wanted from Sweetwater.
Do not go to this location! The Winter Park location is much friendlier and has much better customer service…. This location is in a tourist area and they don’t care about their local customers because they assume that no one will come back. Terrible customer service, rude staff that won’t talk to you unless they know you are buying something. When I first walked in, I was immediately impressed by the number of guitars they had in stock and out on display and the different amps that were available on the floor to try out all the guitars until I went to actually plug in. They only let you use the incredibly short cables that are only able to plug into maybe 3 or 4 of the amps because they are attached to the platform the amps sit on. Then things got worse. I came to this store specifically to play a specific guitar, when I asked someone if they had it and if I could try it, they said they didn’t and that they could order one. AS SOON AS I SAID I JUST CAME IN TO CHECK IT OUT I was ignored with all my other questions, instead repeatedly asked if I would order that guitar. The shop wasn’t even busy and the limited staff they had was more concerned with anyone else they may come in other than the people there that might have actually bought something if the staff wasn’t so rude.
I’m here a second time and have been in the store for about 30 minutes waiting for an associate yet there seem to be none here. Multiple customers are waiting to pay and there is no one to check them out and I haven’t even been greeted since I’ve been here. I will definitely not be coming back to this location to purchase anything …. Not like I could even if I wanted to, there is no one to sell me anything. This is disappointing
20. Guitar Center
Address: 520 N Orlando Ave Suite 130, Winter Park, FL 32789 , Edgewood , Florida , United States
I had a mess up with my order and unfortunately had to make a return with a guitar I ordered online. Even though the guitar I received wasn’t from this Guitar Center, they took my return and it was on the SAME day that the guitar was delivered to my house. I was taken care of when I entered the store all the way until I left. I walked out with an even more beautiful guitar. I am happy and this is honestly one of my favorite guitars I own now. Great customer service!
Always helpful and carry what I’m looking for.
Es una jugeteria completa, pero no había muchos surtido…
They have a wide variety of instruments and supplies, and in my limited experience with them, the staff seem knowledgeable and helpful.
Awesome customer service. Had everything we needed. And if one didn’t know they asked another employee and they knew.
I’ve been coming here for 20 years, and I just had a terrible experience. While trying to trade in a Martin with electronics, the staff member, Schuyler, tried handling my gear along with his register keys at the same time. He hit it 3 times with his keys. From there, he couldn’t figure out how to open the 9 volt battery case. He kept pushing in as hard as he could. I told him there’s a button on the side, but he wouldn’t touch it. When I tried to show him, he abruptly took it over to their work area and he started using needle nose pliers. I’ll include pictures so you can see exactly how inept this employee is and what he thought required pliers. He actually scratched up the battery with the pliers. I told him to stop, and he then slammed my guitar back in the case and said he’s going to pass on the trade in because it’s broke. Now the 9 volt is actually jammed in there because of how he was trying to open it.
I went to the Winter Park store on Wednesday 11/31/2022. They seem to be selling lower quality items in this store now. I went in to look at a Gibson acoustic/electric marked on their website. Unfortunately I couldn’t find it. No problem as I will look at some other higher end models to see if I like them better. One thing I noticed is that it seems like the strings on the guitars have been on there for a while as they were nasty to play. Very off-putting. I asked 3 times for a guitar to be unlocked so that I can play it and waited 20 minutes and finally just left. As I was walking out 2 of the “workers” I asked to unlock the guitar were just shooting the breeze with each other. I drove an hour to look at guitar and had every intention on dropping about 2500. I will not return and in a rare suggestion, I suggest others to look elsewhere as well.
Service was good especially with the conditions the employees are having to work in, no a/c in the store at all, was uncomfortable for myself in just few minutes I shopped.
