I’ve been playing guitar/bass going on 50 years, in my experience G&s Guitar shop offers exceptional quality and service. George has background as a machinist and decades as a luthier, he’s done everything from set-ups, repairs and new build projects for me.. I am absolutely satisfied. One thing I especially appreciate is he always includes a detailed worksheet of everything he’s done to the instrument. I can recommended him and his partner without hesitation for whatever your stringed instrument needs might be.
George did an awesome job restoring a Gibson 12string. Even though the guitar was not of high value, by the time George finished working his magic, it looked like a million bucks and sounded amazing! He is honest, fair in his pricing and he definitely knows his stuff about fixing and refurbishing guitars.

Awesome and fast shipping ! The album ( picture disc ) was as beautiful and perfect as the picture on the sight ! Best of all , the price ! I will be shopping here often !
Amazing as always. Wish I actually lived close so I could stop in the shop!
Excellent products. I was inspired to purchase cleaning kit and archival sleeves for my old vinyl collection after watching their YouTube videos on how to properly clean records and store them. Thanks so much!
Nice store – primarily acoustic instruments (mostly Teton brand which were amazing especially at the price point), and they have some electrics too. Also sell jewelry and some other items. Friendly owners and adorable kitten!
Lovely sound of guitars and great customer service
Stopped in here looking for an acoustic-electric. The lady was very knowledgable and showed me a brand I’d never heard of but sounded amazing! I left with a great-sounding guitar at a good price. Great experience.
Went to get my Mexican Fender Strats’ electronics repaired and to fix the output jack. He messed with things that I didn’t ask to be touched and when I confronted the clerk Valerie about it she got rude with me. She said that he hadn’t messed with the neck at all, but they gave me this paper that had everything that he had done to it listed out: he messed with the truss rod and neck alignment. She denied that my guitars action was set too low and that it must’ve been a problem before; when the only problem was the electronics. Valerie thought that she knew more than me about the guitar that I own. Before I had even left the shop she was talking badly about me. In this store, the customer is indeed not always right.
