Great guitars
Communication was fantastic. Shipped out so quickly I got whiplash. The ONLY reason they didn’t get 5 stars was that I think they could have used more packing material. My Kingtone Rise was wrapped carefully in a beautiful sheet of waxed paper, with the AIFG logo on it. Very very carefully done, however there was enough room in the box for my pedal to bounce around.
I will absolutely be buying from AIFG again, they carry some hard to find gear, and as I mentioned before, communication was very fast, shipping even faster. I like the way they do business.
Gave me an offer for a guitar body, and waited until I accepted the offer to tell me I would have to pay through venmo. When I said no to that option he bragged about his reviews and tried to start an argument. I apologized for offending him (still don’t know how I did) and wished him well, just feel the communication should be proper.
Absolute worst people to deal with. Blatant ,dumb responses. Terrible.

Cool assortment of old stuff but the owner hovered over us the whole time like we were going to steal something. We have gone there many times and it’s always the same. I get that it’s his store and he wants to protect his things but it makes us feel quite uncomfortable. We would spend so much more time there if we weren’t being scoped.
Decent amount of odds and ends collectables…but the whole experience was ruined because this old man followed us around the whole te like we was going to steal something…I have plenty of money and would have definitely bought a few things but the way he stood their watching was creepy and very off putting. Don’t stalk, hover over and watch customers like that. It makes us seem VERY UNWelcome. I get that you have to protect your store from shoplifters / thieves…but don’t treat treat customers who are in there browsing like theives. It’s a good way too lose customers.
This place has some pretty cool stuff, but the creepy old man follows and almost stands on top of you the whole time, like you’re going to steal something. Also prices are very high, priced to not sell. It will stay cluttered because of creepiness and high prices.

This is a great store! Merchandise is nicely displayed and they have a great variety to choose from.
As with any thrift store, timing is everything. New To You is a fun hit-or-miss trove of treasures or junk. And the mission that Barnabas serves makes it satisfying to drop off some wonderful stuff that is no longer used or needed.
Upgraded my wardrobe and shoe game a considerably with a $30 voucher. Non-clothing selection of products isn’t on par with NHS however..
Pretty good store dealing in donated cast off items. Great bargains if you find something you like. The good stuff goes quickly.

I’m very shocked that I’m wrighting this review but I felt very disappointed on the last couple visits I am a long time customer and travel from southern Florida to visit this beautiful area I have came to this store for 15 years I realize things changes but this is all really uncalled for there is a lady that looks of Spanish decent I can’t believe the way she treats costumers but I did notice that she lights up and treats other Spanish customer ESPECIALLY men very nice and respectful greets them laughs and so on that would be awesome however there’s other people that come to shop and support Barnabus New to You, and there great works I suggest they get her training on how to be a positive asset to not only the community but to this shop or maybe replace her thank you

Love his style and experience! I would recommend him to anyone doing anything large or small scale in terms of mixing and recording.
I definitely was super nervous about recording (I had never recorded professionally before) and Je made the process so much less frightening and easy to understand what was going on. He’s very patient and super helpful in developing as a musician in general but most certainly in developing the music.. We made a song I’ve had for years come to life and I am just elated!! Highly recommended, it’s been an awesome experience so far.
Wasted my money at this studio. air conditioning going on, screeching from headphones, etc happening over and over mid-take.

Authentic Cuban food with the friendliest service on the island. Get there early before the empanadas are sold out!
We ordered Beef Empanadas, Croquettes, Pastelitos filled with cream cheese and Guava, a Cuban cheese sandwich and a Media Noche Sandwich. Everything deserved a five star rating. Pro Tip: If you want to enjoy an affordable lunch, this is the place to go!

Good Cuban bread for Cuban sandwich compliments of Super Walmart in Yulee. I’m from Miami so I know the Cuban Sandwich. This one was good with one exception. Way too much Mojo either on the roast pork or just poured on the sandwich. It was over powering and spoiled the sandwich for me.

Walked in with my family for a late lunch and the look on the hostess’s face made us turn right around and out. We found out later on that they were closing at 2pm because it was Labor Day. There was no sign saying that and the door was unlocked. Their PR is as bad as her face.
This place is OK at best. Definetly not the best Cuban around. Pork is dry and bland. Dry, stale bread on the sandwiches. Coffee is good. I guess if you want a dry, flavorless sandwich with a good cup of coffee its the place to go.

This was my very first time buying an instrument at all, and I had heard buying a violin can be finicky. Mr. Howery is an absolute angel and helped me figure out finances, the instrument that was best for me, finding affordable teachers, etc. And the violin was fantastic quality!

Cello repair: Will has done several repairs on my cello; all with excellent outcomes. He has re-haired both my bows, and repaired a posterior crack at the neck joint where it meets the scroll. Most recently a crack appeared over the sound post under the bridge which required he remove the entire front of the body, applied a sound post patch and replaced damage linings. After the body was re-assembled he repaired the string guides at the scroll and bridge which shortened the height of the strings off the fingerboard, which has made left hand work simpler. He also repaired a number of ‘dings’ on the anterior seams with French polish and a varnish touch up. The instrument is gorgeous, mellow cello sound, and we now ready for a long life together…. Will does beautiful, meticulous work.
I have brought my violin to Howery Violins on two occasions and have been enormously pleased with the results each time. He is knowledgeable, thorough and very friendly, and his prices are quite reasonable. I feel so fortunate to have found him!
