Wal-Mart without the sales tax
This PX is horrible. I’m a Veteran. I worked there before and they are completely rude to the Employees. They don’t even care about their Veteran Employees. My suggestion is not to apply for a job there. They need to respect their Veteran Employees and Regular Employees. If you have PTSD or Severe Anxiety or Depression DO NOT APPLY TO WORK THERE.
I had originally meant to leave a raving review about 7 months ago, when Jeff performed a miracle on the upright I inherited from my grandparents. This upright, mind you, is nothing fancy, and it was hardly ever taken care of or tuned, so it was in pretty bad shape. No really, it was an absolute disaster.
I had previously and erroneously hired a different technician, who wanted nothing more than to sell me on every service he offered, so that I’d end up spending over $3k+ on a piano I couldn’t give away for free… and I think his tuning made it worse.
Then I found Jeff, and he was totally professional, nice personality, and honest in his practice. He was frank about cautioning not to spend too much on it, because it’s just plain old and worn. The tuning and other minor touches he made, however, turned my train wreck, into something that I have thoroughly enjoyed every day since. Immediately after the tuning, I couldn’t believe my ears.
I grew up playing a Yamaha medium-grand C-series, and though there’s no way anyone can make a cheaper upright sound like a nice grand, my piano sounded brand new again. My grandparents would’ve been ecstatic, though I like to believe they could hear it.
I play quite a bit, and often heavy, at an average of about 2-3 hours, 4-5 times a week, sometimes even more. His tuning has sustained exceptionally well all this time. I just called for a routine tune-up to get that pristine sound again, and was bummed to find out he had moved from LA (where I am) to Colorado, though he was even kind enough to refer me to someone he trusts.
So if you’re in Colorado and looking for a piano tuner… stop.

Square Music is awesome The people that run it are super friendly and have been exceptionally patient with my special needs son as far as teaching him basic musical concepts and also how to have a helluva good time! Also, they do basically everything, instrument sales and repairs as well as lessons but also Music therapy and local art. Rad little joint, do recommend.

I just left there and found some cool little things. The woman who checked me out was very courteous and fun to talk to. Sometimes thrift stores can be a hit or miss and in that, can be on the dirty side. But this store was not, it was clean and nice. It’s hard for me to visit because of the hours being relatively short but I understand and I will be back!

It’s a great base thrift shop with realistic prices compared to other places I’ve gone. I also love that tongue will do specials all the time to help clear out their inventory and make more room. This place is small but mighty, packed to the brim! We got great deals when we went on kitchen sale day. Hard working and friendly ladies when we were there. Could use some organizing to spruce it up a bit or sort books by a genre but I’m sure they don’t have as much time as they’d like. Only downside is they have limited open hours for those that are active duty and want to stop by. But best thrift shop I’ve found in this area so far!!

This store has quiet a bit of stuff for sale. I know its run on volunteers. There is christmas stuff, clothing, books, dvds, games, bikes, dishes etc. Its a tad disorganized but again run by volunteers so understandable.
If I can give zero stars, I would. This thrift store on post had a drill that they claimed “worked.” I asked them if they can leave the battery of the drill charging for a couple hours and they did. I came back and the drill was packed up and they told me it worked fine. Took the drill to my room, left the battery charging for hours and you know what happened? It spinned for 5-10 seconds and then turned off! It didn’t matter how long you leave the battery charging, it only spins for 5-10 seconds. I went back to ask for a refund, and they said “Look the drill works it spins and charges. So it works, we cannot give you your money back.” What!? No the drill doesn’t work. I can give you a phone that charges and only works for 1 minute and claim it “works” but that’s a lie!!! These people are crooks and will steal your money. Save your time, energy and money and go somewhere else!
Friend bought a tree THEY ADVERTISED as 9ft got home it was only 7ft and refused her a refund even tho they sold her a different product than what they advertised

It’s slow getting a drink. It’s okay place but rather go to another for faster service and not pay 3 different taxes on an item.
I know it is on post but why pull up to the second window when there is no one at the speaker?
It’s good that Dunkin and Baskin-Robbins did a collab here for an establishment, but they close way to early and they’re always saying their missing certain supplies or items on both sides. But the service is normally pretty well I frequent here alot.

Unfortunately I can’t give ZERO stars! Just went to this store at Ellis St in fort Carson, CO and have the barista making a wrong order and telling me that’s what I ordered, even trying to explain the difference she started to talk louder and having an attitude not compatible for the functions she is employed for. So everyone started to enter in the argument (at this point wasn’t a conversation anymore) I had to ask my kids to leave the store and go to the car with the little one crying.
I don’t have the name of the employee but this is unacceptable and requires counseling and adjust on behavior of that employee towards DD costumers.
Definitely not coming back to this location anymore and emailing corporation for a feedback!

Usually we have a pleasant experience but tonight was unacceptable. While attempting to leave, an employee demanded a receipt. He was completely rude, and when we walked by. He grabbed our cart and got in our faces. I don’t know if it was because of our age or what, but that is NO excuse. I will be calling management tomorrow morning.

What’s a very good Walmart location, there is a Wal-Mart closer to my house but I drive to the Fountain Walmart because I don’t like the Walmart that’s near me if not a market one neither its natural Walmart Supercenter but I just feel like the fountain Walmart has more stuff. Out of all the Walmarts in town I like this Fountain Walmart the best.
It’s everything you would expect from Wal-Mart. Great prices, lots of selections, and crowded aisles.

This Walmart never has anything in stock that you actually really need but it has a bazillion things in stock but you don’t need so personally I think it sucks.

I am a minority and a lot of the time people act as if the faster we can pay them and get out the better. But Cody wasn’t that way at all, he didn’t even seem to notice my color. Thank you Cody.

I bought a used violin from their sister store after deciding I wanted to try to pick it up again after almost 20 years of not playing. The violin I received needed the bridge installed and needed tuning, so the sister store sent me to Music and Arts for help. Christopher helped me get the violin set up and ready to play. I told him my situation and he helped me pick out a music book to learn from and some accessories. What I appreciated most was that he was genuinely excited to share a love of music with someone looking to get back into it. Thank you for your help!
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said “Sorry I already returned it. I can’t do anything about it.” This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Had a great time seeing some of our favorite artists for the 7/10 Chris Webby show and don’t pay for the top tier tickets because the venue will close off the “side stage” for their own employees and not honor your V.i.P purchase. Big waste of money anything other then general admission.
Not sure if it was just the group but the acoustics were absolutely horrible for Bone Thugs. The sound was muddy and painful to listen to.
I was currently visiting a venue for Tech N9ne and I was pushed down by a drunk behind me and security comes over and does not help me up but instead marks me and tells me that I am cut off from drinking it was asinine I was done drinking anyway so I let it go but then throughout the evening I was pushed down more than once they just stack people in and collect their money they don’t have any concerns about you being comfortable to see your favorite artist by any means I would suggest next time Tech N9ne comes to town I will go see him in a better location

It’s a relatively small store, but usually packed with equipment. The staff is super helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve been going in for about the last year and rarely leave disappointed.
When another local music store told me they weren’t sure if they could solder one wire by the end of the day. I stopped by Music Go Round, and not only did they solder it on the spot, they did for free, in under 5 minutes!!
Thanks to the guy who helped us pick out a Ukulele today! Talking us into the digital tuning device was sooo key. She’s been at it all night and already strumming out her own little songs. Superb costumer service. Thank you!
I went in tonight around 6pm to pick up some bass strings. When I walked in, I asked for recommendations on bass strings, as I’ve only bought guitar strings before. The man working there didn’t even come fully out from behind the counter to assist me and made a rude comment when I jokingly asked “What strings does Geddy Lee use?” (The bass player from Rush.)
Honestly, it’s not about the bass strings, the inability to walk fully from behind the counter, or the rude comment and attitude. It’s the fact that I’m trying to support local businesses, and EVERY TIME I go to this store, I’m treated as if I’m an inconvenience.
At Guitar Center, I’m always treated with respect and courtesy. It’s making it really hard for me to want to keep supporting this business when I know that I’ll be treated better somewhere else. A small dose of customer service goes a long way.
If they pretended they were happy to see me just once, it would make a difference. I wear the store’s t-shirt, for crying out loud.

I do not recommend this store. I have been a faithful customer for many years and tried to support local business, however this particular Music Go Round is by far the worst. I have brought in guitars and basses that I have played for years only to be told they have warped necks or something else is wrong with them. I have brought these same instruments to either Guitar Center (Fort Collins/Arvada)or the other two Music Go Rounds in Denver (Littleton specifically) and they had no issues and said all they needed was a little set up. While the owner is a good guy, the manager is completely un-knowledgeable and very rude. Also, their return policy is completely different from the other Music Go Rounds only allowing 7 days and in store credit only, and while they claim it’s stated everywhere it is not musician friendly as sometimes we need more time to see if equipment is going to work for us. Guitar Center is a much more musician and user friendly store, and I would highly advise taking the trip to the other locations to be treated fairly.
Good music store but don’t sell them your musical instruments – they value everything on ebay and offer you less than 10% of its value. Offered me $50 for a very old German violin which I sold on craigslist for $800 which was about the value of the instruments I could see them looking at to compare against on ebay
Had good experiences in the past here both buying and selling but chose to offer me $200 for $1500 worth of bass gear. At least guitar center offered me 50% of the total worth. Avoid if you are selling. If you are buying check EVERYTHING over as much of the wind instrument stock has issues.
EDIT: Went back last week to trade another guitar. The salesperson claimed that the neck was twisted (so they of course couldn’t buy it) which was debunked later by a good luthier. I really want to like this store but they don’t employ honest people.
