Amazing price. Minimum 15% discount from original price for any plugin. Great for music producer.
I bought from JRR via Ebay a Steinberg Portico plugin. Very fast and trouble free. Excellent communication.
Jerry and John are the best amp repair and guitar mod people ever. Jerry is a tube amp genius and I’m truly grateful for how he’s made my Pro Reverb sound. Then just yesterday I brought my vintage jaguar baritone custom in because I wanted to change it from a 6 string bass to a true baritone. I don’t know how else to say it: It’s perfect! I never thought I could be that good! En serio! Thanks so much.
JRR Shop is a fraud. They misrepresent themselves and will tell you anything to make a sale. THEY WILL NOT backup their word on what they’ve said in the selling process. They continue to lie when challenged. They’ve scammed over $160 from me over a SONAR product which they said could be upgraded. Fact is it can’t be upgraded from the SONAR product that was and is installed and registered on my machine. DON’T DO BUSINESS with these people. They need to be out riding their bikes as depicted in their write-up about how JRR Music Shop was born. That’s BS for sure. I have a PayPal claim against these scam artists right now. Also, I’m in the process of complaining to the Internet Crime Complain center. They must be stopped. Truly, this is a case of BUYER BEWARE. Don’t trust these people …
… Well, good news is they just refunded my money. Perhaps they are well intentioned but lack the experience in good selling and customer service practices. Certainly, they need to improve.
After 48 hours of purchase of a software upgrade key still nothing delivered and order marked as completed. And no answer to mails or phone calls.
Caveat Emptor. Bought Hardware unit that didnt work properly. Over 1 month later and still no response. Stick to software from here. Or like me take your business elsewhere.
Save yourself frustration and hassle, JRR Shop will offer advertised items online to you at a better and fair price, then once you pay for the item they back out of the deal on you. Sure seems like a money scan of some sort to me. I will never buy from them ever again.

Friendly staff and what’s not to love about a music store.
My second time here and their customer service are great, and because of that, I drove 20 min there instead of going to the lake forest location, which is 5 min from me. Special thanks to Mike that made my son’s first electric guitar shopping great
A little rundown, carpet is pretty shabby, and displays are, although not in disarray, not as inciting or compelling as one would expect from such a marketing champion anchor chain.
Make sure both to think that ther price tag it’s the actual price, as the staff is happy to wheel and deal for cash, especially if a multi package purchase is in play.
Ther staff is knowledgeable, professional, but there was a bit of a sense of urgency in completing the sale, although I didn’t feel rushed (more like the sales clerk had many other things to attend to).
Prices, on the surface, are on par with ther same items at other chains, but again, sales reps have discretion in discounting items and they offer matching guarantees for items advertised at other stores
Super friendly dudes working there.. especially Mike! Ask for him if you’re ever there.
I was just getting some accessories for my kid, I could have used a little guidance, I think they work on commission so unless you are getting an instrument they aren’t going out of their way to help.
I went there to change my guitar strings. They wanted me to leave the guitar overnight and said they think it could be done the ready for the next day. That is just too long.
Don’t expect a knowledgeable staff to sell you the equipment in the store. They’ll tell you to watch YouTube videos before you talk to them about it, and I did a lot of research on amps before I walked in but I was hoping to hear it in person with the gear in the store, which they wouldn’t plug in the amp heads for. I’ll buy it elsewhere like I did the last $3k I just spent. Last time for me with these characters.
Sucks balls

I’ve been with LTBRSFV for almost 3 years now and it is truly not your average music school! We are family here and I always look forward to coming to my lessons, band practices and recordings! The owner, Jeremy Whiteley, is one of the most kind-hearted people I’ve ever known. The music instructors are awesome and professional too!! Keep rockin’ LTBRSFV!
My son had been taking virtual lessons for over a year and we recently made the switch to in-person at LTBRS, and it was the best decision! He is learning so much from his new instructor and really gaining some confidence in his natural ability. It is a great laid-back atmosphere for teenagers and there is no pressure to be perfect. Rock On!
If you want to rock, you have to learn from the pros! Great staff and owners, awesome environment. Fun for the whole family!
5. Southwest Conservatory of Music
Address: 18430 Brookhurst St #101, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 , Fountain Valley , California , United States
My daughter takes lessons here, and I have to say, the teachers here are wonderful. You can really tell that they’re very experienced and love what they do. This place offers a theory lab with computers to help you study music theory, and they also host recitals twice a year. Would highly recommend to everyone.
Our daughter has been taking lessons with Ms. Anna for almost 3 years and she has not only learned to enjoy playing the piano but she has also become a very good player already at age 8. Ms. Anna teaches well and makes our daughter interested in learning more and challenge herself. Also, Ms. Anna is always so flexible with the schedule. I would highly recommend this music school!
Great music school with great teachers
Went in on sat 3/26/16 around 3:45pm to get some information to sign my daughter & myself up for piano classes. Waited for about 5 mins to be helped. No one came in the meantime I started looking at vouchers and a sheet that included the prices. As I was reading the prices the owner came out and was extremely rude. She came out and said she was the owner twice, and had a tone that was just asking us to get out. We asked about group classes which was clearly stated on the sheet we were looking at. All she said was we do not offer group classes. Extremely rude would not recommend this place, I will be happily taking my business elsewhere.
Had a bunch of great old titles only got 10 bucks for all of them
Record store, will buy some of your old lp’s
Good service family atmosphere good selection of EDM vinyl with a knowledgable helping experience.
Go here if you want to get ripped off
Never been there
Dont go here. Owner has a really bad attitude. It was about 75゚ in the afternoon and she wouldn’t come out to look at some records I was trying to sell her. She said I’m the one that’s buying my records. Brought some in and she didn’t recognize some classic one hit wonder rock banslds from the mid-60s.
9. Martha’s Piano Studio
Address: 17319 Poplar St, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 , Fountain Valley , California , United States
WOW. This place is everything that one could want as far as ma-and-pa music shops go. A&B has friendly staff, who are helpful and attentive. Not to mention–they have REALLY expanded their inventory to cater to a higher-end audio equipment sweet tooth. Who would’ve thought that a little music shop would carry the sweetest G&L’s around?!
Highly recommended for your obscure music needs and talented music instructors!
I’ve been going to A&B music since the early 90s. The shop has pretty much anything you need , good prices and great service!
We live in Kentucky and was in the area and was told that AB had the best selection and prices on guitars.
By far, the selection and service here is the best of any shop that I have seen in a long time!
Of course I couldn’t leave here without picking up a new G&L Comanche!
Now I have beautiful guitar to add to the collection.
Player One Music Studio is an excellent program and I highly recommend it for any age and level. Mr. Evan has been a phenomenal teacher. My son has been taking piano lessons with him for many years. He is now 17 and just completed CM level 7. He loves his lessons with Evan who inspires him to pursue excellence in his musical journey. Thank you Evan and Player One Music Studio!
My kids began taking lessons with Evan about nine months ago and their skill development has been phenomenal. Although each kid came in at a different skill level, Evan has been able to customize lessons to help each one advance at an unexpectedly rapid pace. I really like how Evan emphasizes piano technique, sight reading, and music theory. The kids love Evan’s methods of teaching and the point program he uses to incentivize regular practice. They also get great satisfaction in being able to play some of the classical pieces they hear on the radio. The skills they have acquired at Player One have allowed them to participate in special opportunities in their school band/orchestra such as playing piano solos. The master classes and recitals are always fantastically organized and fun experiences for both the students and their parents/guardians.
Great instructor, teaches in an engaging way, and works you towards playing the music you want to play

The staff was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my drum purchase.
Great selection of equipment and a very helpful staff. Sean specifically went out of his way to help me find the guitar that was right for me. Even though I live a ways away, I’ll definitely be back in the future.
Great job all around
Somewhat limited selection of guitars, but excellent quality.
Good Customer Service
I went to this store to return/exhange a Mackie Profx 30v2 mixer that i bought a few of weeks ago, which has issue. Upon my arrived at store manager and staff were very professional to excepted my return/exchange of item. However, the item was an open box, and I was willing to pay the difference for a brand new one, because i don’t want this to happen to me again. The store manager were unable to exactly match price on the internet, dollar per dollar to replacement item and delivery it to my house as i would shop online. Per the store manager, was due to higher cost for the local store to operate, which i kinda understand it. Being said this. I am an online buyer for music equipment, and others stuffs for years, and was very happy about it. I decided to use the local store at this time to give support, but i have to pay way more then i have too. I am doing this as one time deal, and I will have think twice for the next time. I could have buy this same mixer brand new, free shipping to my house at total cost of $849.99 but I paid $925.99 for it just because… However, if you know, what you are buying, and did enough of your researches. I believe online buying option is great and save lots of your hard earning money. But, if you are not sure of product and need help. Local store is probably best option for you. I have included the receipt for my referent.
Poor customer service. Every question i asked was lime i was bugging them and treated me like a bum.
they lie a lot about online order, they could tell me that the order could come in 3 business day, after 2 weeks, I call back and check, they said they run out the item
Ese lugar yo compro mis cuerda para mi guitarra
18. Fountain Valley Music Center
Address: 8740 Warner Ave, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 , Fountain Valley , California , United States
You can help but feel inspired walking in this store. With the walls lined with well-crafted instruments and music books that range from Easy Rouge One Soundtracks to Bruddah IZ melodies.
I usually go to just browse around and see if I can stumble on to something interesting again, and the staff isn’t pushy or tries to up-sale in every interaction. They just love music, so rest assure that what ever recommendation they offer, it isn’t to get more money but it’s because they just want to help you.
I’m a big lover of music but I have very little talent for it. Still, every time I walk past that sign that says, “Caution, Musicians in Training,” I feel a little more rhythm in my walk.
Shout out to Candi and Gil for helping me out again today and you can be sure I’ll swing around with my girlfriend’s ukulele.
Great customer service and knowledgeable staff!
I got a Teton guitar there and I couldn’t be happier with it. It sounds like thousands but its only hundreds. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. There was a guy that looked like he was making a violin (maybe repair?).
No warranty on instruments.
All sales are final.
All instrument are sold without tune, when trying to tune my violin for first time, I cut a string.
They didn’t recognize the bad quality of the string and I have to pay for new strings.
You will fund better instruments at better price on e B a y
I really wanted to love this attractive store, but…we were sold a “completely reconditioned ” clarinet almost a year ago. Unbeknownst to me, the mouthpiece was seriously chipped when we got it and my young son didn’t know to say anything about it. I learned about this when we took it to a repair shop for maintenance and had to buy a new mouthpiece. Also just learned the salesman sold us saxophone reeds during the same purchase. Not the level of knowledge I would anticipate from a full service music store.

Great place to record acoustic oriented music. Owner is Interested and great!
Very professional and EXTREMELY knowledgable. Beautiful studio. My Dad and his band recorded an album here and it sounds out of this world. This guy knows his stuff. You wont be disappointed.
From start to finish, Keith and his team of amazing studio musicians focused all their energy and skills on giving my song “Man in the Moon” a perfect launch. I was gobsmacked by their level of musicianship and technical know-how. And they treated me as an equal. Thanks!
