Loved how me and my fiancées pictures turned out. Such great talent right in the city we grew up in! Chaz is very down to earth and his vibe is dope . Very professional and about the business. Will be back for more!
Great location. Stores and food places near by. Good quality sound. One of my favorite places to record.
Absolutely one of the best recording studios in northeast Georgia. ITS A WHOLE VIBE IN THERE

I am a professional musician. I had my Haynes handmade flute completely reburbished. It looks and plays like a dream. I also had my Gemeinhardt ALTO flute refurbished. All new pads, some fine tweaking, and it – too – exceeds my expectations. Dave is a gem – in the small city of Elberton.
Small place with great service
Excellent customer service that you can only get from a small business like this one! Great staff and excellent repair work done on my son’s trombone.
Chris at Ruth Guitars is pretty much the only person I trust w my gtrs. I play over 200 shows a year, and trust Chris w all my electronic work, set ups, he’s even lent me a couple custom made LG Series guitars for high profile gigs. His custom builds come standard w superior hardware including premium handwired pickups. From repairs to tone-shaping and beyond, Chris at Ruth Guitars always goes above expectations and over-delivers a product that is eye-catching, fun to play, sounds impossibly good, custom made to your specs, and affordable. Call him TODAY for any repair or maintenance, its getting cold out! You’ll want to get your hands on one of his numerous custom builds (If you can get it off his wall long enough I recommend the black LG model) and start spec’ing YOUR handmade custom model. Pictured below is the TC model w literally too many tonal options to list here. Your tonal palette is only limited by your own imagination. Chris can bring your dream sound to your hands! I wish I could give more than 5-stars!
So, I brought my project guitar to Ruth Guitars that I’ve been holding onto for years. I asked him to build it how he would like it. Oops! Turned out way better than I had ever thought! He was able to install the neck, wire in a crazy cool pick up, added strings and locking bar for the tuners. Superb work! I’ve played several of his guitars and they all have great action and are super comfortable! Highly recommended!

Extremely nice and informative people! We will definitely be back !!
Awesome, I was going to be coming by after hours for guitar picks, I called, and we came to a great arrangement!
They would leave me 10 assorted Picks under a piece of wood in front of the Store. I stopped by at 10pm, looked under wood and sure enough there were 10 picks, I left 5 bucks and I had picks….Thanks Blue Ridge Music!
Always make it a point to stop here!
Odd hours for a store, most people are working during the time they are open. But good quality items can be found inside. Just wish they’d be open when I could get to them for a purchase.
Great experience but i needed something very specific. The guys working however were of great help and very easy to speak with
Cool laid back store. They focus on acoustic instruments, but also have a few electrics, keyboards, pa gear, etc. Mostly focused on affordable instruments. Also they have lessons there. I recommend stopping in if you’re in the area! (I was on vacation from Atlanta).
The store is run down and filthy. The lady working had zero product knowledge. I had visited before and it was organized….that was years ago. It’s a mess now, the woman working didn’t even get up from the dirty hobo couch to see if I needed assistance, she should be dusting.
Needed strings about 4 pm on a Saturday, searched music stores near me, I was next door. Lady didn’t care if I made a perchance or not,she was ready to close. Too bad I didn’t want to buy a guitar.
Not very friendly or concerned with helping. Pretty indifferent

I walked in the first time to record a song, and I walked out with two new best friends. These guys are so awesome. They love to have fun and will also help you get the music grind on when you’re ready for it 🙂
Great atmosphere, great guys, great service. If you ever think about visiting here, do it! They are very welcoming and are also quite amazing with their recording and lessons. Come check out this crew sometime!
Greatest, most artistically minded recording studio in Georgia!!

Really good guitar techs are hard to find, I’m 52 years old and have played guitar since I was 10. These young kids at guitar center can screw your guitars up, this guy can fix them. First class experienced luthier and friendly guy

The people that work there have good customer service and there very helpful.
Friendly service
Clean, polite, but a bit high in prices
Appearance wise it looked good but, holy septic man, walking into the women’s restroom smelled like a sewer! Better check your pipes, I think one might be broken. And the first 2 stalls were out of order also.
Nice clean gas station. Service was good.
Showers are nasty!
They mess my food up service is to slow to much talking they don’tcare seem like it
Restroom could use a lot of cleaning to put it nicely
Very friendly staff. Bought a Fender Strat about a month ago (Sept.2017) and no major issues so far. I will suggest to them that when they sell a product, like a guitar, they should put a set of new strings on it before turning it over to the customer. When I tune my strat, it loses the tune before I can finish pllaying the first song. Otherwise I will continue using Jackson Music in Buford, GA.
We went to get my 10 year old son a guitar. He is starting lessons and really excited. The guy that helped us was great. He was very knowledgeable and let my son try out a few to see which he was comfortable with. Neither myself nor my husband have any idea about guitars or music equipment so I was happy to have someone that knew what they were talking about. We drove an hour to this store and will definitely be back when it’s time to upgrade my sons guitar.
The two gentlemen that helped me were so helpful and nice. Will be visiting again.
They have fair prices and a mini guitar-center-like selection of guitars. My only complaint is I felt pushed to make a sale when I looked at guitars.
Chad was very helpful.
Staff is nice, small selection tho. Mostly beginner instruments and school band instruments.
DO NOT GO HERE!! i went in to rent an instrument for my daughter for school and got such negativity from THE OWNER’S WIFE. First i was questioned because i only gave them my cell number and refused to give them my 13 year old daughters phone number. I got questioned 5 times if she was really my daughter simply because we have different last name and that was after i told her it was for my daughter. “Are you sure its your daughter?”. Then she said “i am going to be honest, this whole last name not matching throws up red flags for me” and gave me a weird look. I told her i will gladly go elsewhere and to put the stupid instrument back. I will not be questioned with such stupid questions that clearly have an underlying issue to them.
Everyone else was very polite and helpful so kudos to them , their service was good.
We have appreciated Jackson music for years, Joey the owner is very nice. I could not get my Mic to get sound out of it so the employee was helping me out Saturday,, he said try these cables and let’s see what happens,, it did not work because the problem was in my floor sound box,, gain was turned down. , I brought back my cables on Monday and different employee said it looks like you probably used them all weekend and now bringing them back? I said no that’s not the issue, he’s giving me Grief on $20 cables for 20 minutes,, wants restocking fee lol, I said to him this is bs, than he said he not going to refund me because I’m cursing him , I was no way shape or form cursing him,, he took $5 out for restocking fee,, pathetic
We just went to this place to rent a student flute for my daughter’s first year in band. My first red flag should have been that they told me they, “weren’t sure” if they would rent an instrument for fifth grade. It kinda rubbed me the wrong way. Mind you- the only reason we went to the store in the first place is because the school gave us a flyer advertising their rental options. We sat and waited for them to “process and pull” the rental and print my rental agreement. A different person than I initially spoke with came out and told me that they could not approve me for the rental. I’d say that their standards are pretty stringent. I have a great salary job on my application. I can get approval for a credit card, a car note, but not a student flute? They collect your card and account info. How high risk can it be considering that they can withdraw my 30 bucks every month? I told the man “You know what? That’s ok, I can have my mom come up here and do it, she has great credit.” He then proceeded to tell me that he will not allow grandparents the rent instruments, only parents. Uh…What?? What difference does it make? What about the kids whose guardian is not their parent? It’s just a bit much for a 30 dollar a month commitment and a 400 dollar instrument. He told me of their rent to purchase option. You end up paying 850 bucks for an instrument that retails half of that and pay more than the instrument is actually worth in a down payment. No thanks. He also offered to sell us one for 250. For a first year music student who may end up not liking band? I think not. We took our business to New School of Music 5 minutes down the road and it was quick, easy, and actually more affordable. My husband is always in the market for another guitar (purchase not rent) and we will be getting guitar lessons for my middle child. We definitely not be purchasing any of our instruments or lessons from Jackson’s.

I bought guitar strings and a tuner for my boyfriend the lady helped me to find the guitar strings I needed and showed me how to use the tuner so I could show my boyfriend but It didn’t come with the instructions so that sucked and I felt like since I wasn’t spending too much money they really didn’t want to bother with me and the place was empty other than me there but the store is kinda fancy and and not to much to look at not very inviting for most people a bit too fancy kind of intimidating for a lot of people and when I walked in the first thing you see is a bunch of pianos which made me think it was just a piano shop but they do have other thing there but a huge supply. All in all I got what I needed just felt a little uncomfortable and out of place.
Pianos, guitars, study books, score books, accessories. Friendly staff.
Extremely narrow minded selection of instruments. If you play anything besides piano or high school band instruments you will be looked at with disdain. If you do play those instruments, I hope you like Yamaha because that’s your only choice.
I felt a racial divide. I was cordial and respectful when I entered the place. I played for them, the piano and sang to them and even bought something from them. They called the police on me and I was not arrested. I did not disrespect anyone nor did I hard an instrument. I sat in the police car in cuffs and then was released without a problem. I plan to take them to court.
Nice store but they DON’T take American Express

Town Center Music is an amazing music shop!! I would rate this place 6/5 if I could! Their guitar prices are reasonable, and they are very nice! The people working there are very knowledgeable about what they teach. The shop has a variety of different instruments! Highly recommended.
I called Town Center Music for a same day service and they were able to help within minutes. My daughter broke an E string on her Violin and we needed it replaced asap before her school concert. These guys were very professional with amazing customer service. I will definitely be back. I didn’t realize how close this shop was until today and I’m so glad I found it.
A great music store!! The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. I drove from Fort Valley, GA (southwest of Macon) to purchase another bass amp for practice and ended up with not only a practice amp, but another bass guitar….
Much better store I not been here in a while the past manager was not a music guy or a manger known as a air head I will be back
Good
Taught my kids to play guitar
Store is dirty poor selection not real big
Not where u want to shop you find poorly trained staff and not music people I shopped here off and on for years . just not good pepole

High prices not helpful run by a guy who looks 40 and still in a garage band no music
background not open late any place better then here. Manger is clueless.
