They know what they are doing. Great setup on my guitar.
Yeah,I walked in the store, and everything I wanted this guy James just let me have it all!for free! I love that place!
Nice small music store
Friendly people but kinda pricey
Great places to take your child to get a school band instrument.
It’s guitars what’s not to love. Good folks here.
Unfriendly staff
Dropped a guitar off for the owner to look at. He told me over the phone he’d give $150 for it and only a few hours later when I came in to get the money he prints me a ticket off and hands me $100. I reminded him that wasn’t what we agreed on and all he said was “that’s all I can do unless you want me to undo the transaction”. Not good business in my opinion. He lost a customer over 50 bucks. :::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
And now he’s calling me a liar. This isn’t some story I made up when I was bored, it actually happened. Remember the guitar was dropped off so it could be appraised. I don’t enjoy writing bad reviews but this one was earned.
Bought a brand new acoustic guitar here after years of using this store for my musical needs. The guitar wasnt staying in tune and i noticed the intonation was a little off as well. I took it back 4 days later and they offered me 100 bucks for it. It was brand new and i spend 400 on it and bought a 150 dollar case as well. Thats not the way you treat repeat customers. I will never be returning to this store again.
3. Rockabilly Music
Address: 16 N 6th St, Van Buren, AR 72956 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
I’ve only been there once but I was pretty impressed with it. It’s kind of a hole in the wall that reminds me of a place where the VIP’s of music would go to and be able to strike up a jam session without being bothered. The owner is VERY knowledgeable about music and really likes to help out any way he can. He has a wide variety of accessories for your guitar. Some that are hard to find. His prices are cheaper than Siglers and Ben Jack’s too. He has a variety of guitars ranging from $50, for the beginner, all the way to $500 for the more advanced. I like Rockabilly’s and I do recommend them to my friends and others who want a place to go for their guitar needs. They get ALL my business!!!
These guys were very helpful and helped me with everything I needed. Gave me some awesome advice as well.Great music shop!!!
Great man
Cool small town music store
Ok
Not much in store but friendly and helpful
Open just for certain customers, they are going out of business because everyone is using the web to buy. Alot of old vintage instruments in there.
I bought strings here a few times.
Called just now to ask if they hard guitar technicians, got a “well yeah”. I asked if they could help me set a neck on a guitar kit i had bought, “I dont have time for that, i can do it, but i dont have time for that”. I can buy strings anywhere. Haha. Goodness. I dont have time for that.
4. Joyful Noise Guitar Central
Address: 116 E Main St Suite 2, Clarksville, AR 72830 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
Absolutely genuine staff. So helpful, friendly, and prices are lower than their competitors. This is the best place to shop for all your music needs.
Medium sized store, knowledgeable staff. Instrument selection can be bigger, but they know their market. Can get more instruments from other locations. Great at if you’re just starting out or looking for a nice gift for your musical kiddo.
Staff is always helpful whether by phone or in person. They have a great selection of Vic Firth drum sticks and Earthwood guitar strings, both my favorite, at reasonable prices.
They had the components I needed and were very helpful.
It’s good quality music and instrument accessories but their a little costly
I bought a keyboard DGX-640 from this store which is cost $920. Then I realized the keyboard was not brand new and there was no box at all. Later, I did a research online, (Ebay, Amazon..etc.) and found that the original price was only $599 including everything. Most of the keyboards they are selling are not brand new at all. Be ware!
I showed them the kind of guitar strings I needed specifically not knowing entirely the name because they’re the experts right? I said I needed bullet strings for two fender guitars… they sold me a pack of “strings with the ball on the end” and when I opened the package they weren’t what I needed. A musical instrument store where the workers don’t know anything about musical instruments. Don’t waste your time or money or money, you’ll just be gaslit.
Went to gets some beer on Sunday lol so much cheaper even the the gas it cost me to get from clarksville to ozark is cheaper than buying it anywhere else I’ve been highly recommend
We shop here weekly
The store is undergoing remodelling. The staff wasn’t very helpful and I had to ask numerous team members to finally get an answer. If I can avoid it I’ll stop somewhere else while visiting this town.
The pharmacist Matt is very understanding and respectful, many different employees I know personally that are nice, love the electronic section. Definitely wish they would put in a super center.
Order something online for curbside pickup, when I got there I could not find curbside parking. I went inside to pick it up and they were very nice and explain to me for future reference where the parking spot is for curbside. It was not a problem going inside.
I give every wal mart a 1 star due to the fact of self checkout, I would much rather have a person getting paid to do a job to be able to support their families etc.
This walmart in ozark, Sr very limited on what they have it is a very small store.
They treat you like a king when you walk in, but when you leave they act like you stole something.
Staff was rude about exchanging battery that was still under warranty. Not friendly, and over-all the lady that had worked there 35 years was the rudest of all! The younger employees attempted to help, but the bitterness from the older lady stood out even more.
Les is the ONLY person I trust with my guitars. After restoring a childhood keepsake guitar 15 years ago, I have never looked elsewhere for service and advice!
In addition, you can find guitars and amps here that you will not find anywhere else. There is more knowledge here than you will find in 50 chain store employees combined!
By far, my favorite music store to visit in northwest Arkansas. Great selection of equipment and great people make this a definite stop for any string instrument lover.
Great place!
It cool
I got a Fender blues Jr. amp fixed here last year and payed $60 for the work. A few weeks later the amp stopped working so I called the shop and the owner told me that they don’t guarantee their work. I took the amp to another store and spent another $60 to have it worked on again. Take care of your customers and they will come back.

Helpful and not pushy. They have some pretty telecasters that I would love to have. I will definitely shop there again.
They had a great price on a baritone ukulele and great service.
Firstly, this shop provides great service on guitars, setups and string changes. But beware of purchasing a guitar that is not currently hanging on their shelf. For example, the Fender American Professional II Strat, comes in 9 different colors. If you want a color that isn’t hanging on their wall, they will offer to get it for you, but it will be considered a “special order” and not eligible to be returned. This is an odd policy since they are an authorized Fender dealer. If you order the guitar direct from Fender, or Sweetwater, or any other online retailer, the guitar is eligible for return no questions asked. So essentially, trying to support a small shop will eliminate any guarantees offered by the manufacturer. Understand, I realize a small shop has limitations and must do what’s best for their bottom line. However, it was never communicated to me “hey if I order this guitar for you, it’s unreturnable.” The thought never crossed my mind to ask, since the item I ordered was a stock offering from Fender, nothing special or custom about it. It’s extremely surprising that a Fender dealer is not able to provide the same customer satisfaction policies that are in place by Fender themselves. Most of the guitars hanging on the walls are mid-tier or entry level guitars, so if you want something better, and you want the peace of mind to return it if you’re not happy with it, then I suggest looking elsewhere. If you need a great setup on your guitar, ReMix can do it.
We bought a guitar here for our son a couple weeks back. One guy was way too salesy and talked too much but I like supporting local so we bought one.
Friendly’s staff knows equipment.
Went in looking for DJing equipment to start a new hobby. Got laughed at and was told this store is for real musicians. Went in thinking I could get advice and assistance on starting up a new hobby and instead got pushed out with no tips or advice to start this hobby. Defiantly taking my business elsewhere.
The old guy was nice and got a good deal on my Boss PS 6 but the 2 employees or malinngerers.
Didn’t like the guy’s attitude or the prices. I probably won’t be back.
10. 2nd Street Antiques
Address: 202 W College St, Ozark, AR 72949 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
Was met soon as I walked in the door asking if I could be helped finding anything. Told the clerk I needed a couple sets of electric guitar strings. He pointed me in the right direction and I was out the door. Every employee asked how I was doing.
They know exactly what the customers are wanting, if they don’t have it. They suggest where to get that pictular item(s) at.
The customer service is always great and they always are ready to help you on your musical path
Have good inventory, friendly staff but was supposed have met a guitar tech at a certain time & he wasn’t gonna be there until that afternoon so we went somewhere else. And the prices are a little high.
Knowledgeable staff
Way overpriced. Good service.
Took awhile to get anyone to talk to, literally had three employees walk right past me, had to stand near the main case in the center. But when I spoke with Justin he was super helpful and answered all my questions. Sadly didn’t make a purchase this trip but I’d go back after the holidays.
I had the money to buy the guitar I wanted but they asked me to finance. Declined me. Will never do business with them. I will go to Blue Moon. Wow
Poor service. Literally ignored me to talk to men that weren’t even purchasing anything.
Sexist- cooler-than-you store attitude
12. Saied Music Co
Address: 2880 Point Cir, Fayetteville, AR 72704 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
It was so easy to get the reeds for my daughter’s instrument.
I’ve bought two instruments for my daughter here. Quality instruments, fair prices, easy to do business with.
Very knowledgeable and helpful!
Everyone is easy to talk to and friendly. They carry a wide assortment of musical equipment. Typically geared for the student musician.
Perfect place for valve oil, slide grease and stuff like that. They have somebody who speaks in spanish which is also a plus.
Clean store, nice staff.
Awful service. Bought strings for my guitar, and since im not very good at putting them on and they were the most expensive strings, i left my guitar for them to put the strings on for me bc they said theyd do it for free and that they would call me within a day or so. I waoted almsot a week and figured that i must have missed the call and went there to get my guitar. They hadnt even touched it and told me that it would be several more days before they could get to it. I just went ahead and took my guitar. Never getting my business again im just gonna go to guitar center.
Do not let them store your debit card on file. I have an unauthorized charge on my account. ONLY PAY THEM THROUGH THE WEBSITE, NOT OVER THE PHONE.
When I got there I was excited to be buying a ukulele something I’ve been wanting since I was little and when I asked how much taxes were because $82 up from the $54 seemed outrageous the man said idk and didn’t even check it just took an extra $21 and when I was asking questions about other instruments he had. No information literally making me. Still waiting on the money to be back in my account had to go to bed hungry tonight
Very nice gentleman helped me get some guitar picks for my husband.
I got my boyfriend a guitar for Christmas. And he loves it. The customer service is fantastic.
Great place
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.
15. Simply Risen Coffeehouse

Absolutely delicious coffee and baked goods! My husband and I will definitely be back! Loved everything about the shop! It was so beautifully decorated. And the staff was so nice
Great coffee
Nice people, really good muffins and coffee!
Very good drinks, excellent panini, and a quiet place to think.
Twice as high as enterprise was. About like starbux
16. Arkansas School Band Services Inc
Address: 1023 S Arkansas Ave, Russellville, AR 72801 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
Cousins has the best costumer service of any guitar/repair shop I’ve been to. Beau is the only person I let work on my guitars. He is a miracle worker and his work is amazing.
Dropped my new guitar off for a setup yesterday and picked it up today. The guitar plays way better. He even had my sit down and play it before I left to make sure I was happy with it. I’ll be back again next time I need a setup.
Drop broken guitar off repair happy with their service for sure
Good repair work
18. Borman Violins
Address: 1221 E Rodgers Dr, Fayetteville, AR 72701 , Franklin County , Arkansas , United States
I don’t remember much since we had been traveling for two days but it was clean and customer service was great.
Includes hot deli and a small restaurant. Clean bathrooms, decent truck parking, several EV chargers, sells locally made goods. They have a dog park but can get super muddy.
This is the best truck stop in the mountains
Just A place to stay and have something to eat
Place is open 24 hours a day including the restaurant. My husband and I got good food and service even at 10PM. They even have a fenced in dog park so you can let your fur babies off their leash for awhile.
Love this place. Friendly faces make a long day better! Has everything you need.
Had someone’s hair in my food
They only take cash for gas! Do y’all still believe in slavery too?? Get with the times people!!
This hotel was Filty Dirty! Full of roaches! The bedding was nasty! And the shower hadn’t been cleaned in forever!!! The alarm clock was broken and went off several times through out the night before we unplugged it. We wondered why it was unplugged when we got there. The shower handle fell off. The room smelled like animals! Not to mention the towels and carpet had stains all over them! Gag!!! The door barely shut to the bathroom. At one point I got stuck in the bathroom!!!! Freak out cause there were two roaches on the wall with me!!! Half way through the night someone beat on our window and some alarm started beeping randomly. We got in late and tried to endure the night. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! But we sure did take away some funny memories. We laughed all day about the roaches!!
