Referred by Griffin Music Store to repair my trumpet. Called and John was super friendly and very informative with completing the repair to my Bach Strad trumpet. Thanks and I’ll be in soon with it to get it back to playing perfection. Jon S.
Good customer service. Not a lot of music choices, but I was able to find a Rubank methods book.
Not enough room to display musical instruments. Cold hearted atmosphere
Have most items you may need however they’re a little pricey most things are available for less online.
Expensive, great variety
It was obvious that my presence was causing discomfort to the manager/cashier/whatever. I was not allowed to play a certain Epiphone Les Paul (not even a Gibson) because ‘they wanted to keep it clean’. I am a frikin professional guitarist with 11 years of experience and no music stores have ever denied me of handling an instrument. Highly offending for a first time visitor’s impression.
Go to Guitar Center and avoid this place, you’ll be glad you did.
Guy was on phone the whole time…and we waited. Not sure this is the norm but it was my one and only visit
4. B2K Music
Address: 490 F, Bankhead Hwy, Carrollton, GA 30117 , Franklin , Georgia , United States
I’ve been coming here for a while, saw some reviews that people in the store were rude, one of the guys seemed a little cold at first but I think that’s just how he is because I came in with some questions about a problem I was having with my guitar, I wasn’t able to afford a full set up that day but without me even asking he took it to the back and gave me a mini set up (adjusted the truss rod and action) free of charge! I love this place, I don’t know what people are talking about when they say the guys inside are rude or unfriendly? They are always friendly and helpful, and they have dogs!
I had a time constraint and B2K helped me get a quick turnaround on my fretless bass.
Great people, great service!
Very small store, but has big selection of uncommon and rare guitar brands and body builds. From cables to effects pedals and everything in between, B2K Music will have what your needs are, and if not will be happy to order for you with quick delivery.
I dropped my guitar off to have is set up and couldn’t be happier with their work. It’s a 20 year old guitar that needed some TLC and they took care of what was needed while making suggestions on what wasn’t. This is how business should be run, imo. B2K are friendly, knowledgeable and offer good work at fair prices.
Their gear prices are a little higher than what you can
find online but this is to be expected today. I prefer to support local businesses. 4 out of 5, only because I don’t give 5 stars and there isn’t a 4.5. Hehe
Good people’s
Dog to greet you… my kid is a little timid around animals so the barking came close to making us leave. The not being greeted was another miss, but I am a glutton for punishment…. I did make a purchase but don’t think I’ll be going back for anything…. just not as outgoing or friendly as we are accustomed to… some times we get comfortable because we have a monopoly, no other business in a close proximity. And new people don’t matter…I want to say, we should all matter and one shouldmake every effort that clients and customers know they are appreciated. Also “all sales final” after paying was a little out of order…. that only came out because I asked while being rang up what happens if something is wrong … but you get the idea. Don’t go with big expectations and you should be okay.
I wouldn’t recommend them
Awful, awful, awful! The guys who work there are the most unprofessional, unhelpful, people I have ever met! They were extremely rude and just flat out deuchebags!
I’ll never, ever shop there again. Period.
They’re way overpriced, and they know it. But it doesn’t matter if you have money or not if they don’t like either going to snub you. Very very stick in the ashes, type atmosphere
5. Paradise Music
Address: 232 NE Main St, Franklin, NC 28734 , Franklin , Georgia , United States
Great atmosphere, very helpful and friendly. Coco was the best.
I would give it 7 if i could
These guys are the best, I’ve got all my music stuff here for the past year and a half, always friendly. Their feathered guard dog is watchful but overall docile. If you’re looking for good deals on great equipment, all sprinkled with outstanding customer service, then consider this place a musicians paradise.
lots of instruments and good service very good indeed any musician should go there for strings or replacement many parts to choose from excellent indeed
Good place for instruments and repairs, cool friendly staff
Lots of helping here to get the sounds out right…go there to pick up strings and can’t leave without looking around..great place.
I went back to return a small item and I was really treated unkindly. At the end the owner complained for not wanting to loose $25 but not only he looses, we were regular costumenrs and also loose a close to home place to get our music supplies.
Just got my guitar back after a little over a month of them having it. Was told 2 weeks for the work. When I inspected the work there was glue all over my guitar and debris in side of it, I picked up the guitar and shook it to hear nothing but rattling. Also grease was all over the guitar as well. No discount offered or any apology. Needless to say I will never go back for anything.
Fella that owns it, is rude and disrespectful.
6. Piano Crafters & Music Co
Address: 2 Jackson St, Newnan, GA 30263 , Franklin , Georgia , United States
We purchased a beautiful piano from this store. Jessie and Danny were very helpful! They have a lovely inventory and were always available for any help or concerns I had.
My daughter took lessons here with Mrs Nancy. She is so sweet and patient. Although we’ve had to take a small break due to personal reasons when she starts back Mrs Nancy will definitely be her teacher again!
Great for piano/guitar lessons, and organizes recitals for students.
Danny is so nice and knowledgeable. If you need a piano or any work done to yours, go there! He is awesome
Good people in ownership. Have only gone in the past for guitar lessons.
Good service. Nice showroom. Friendly staff.
My piano is the worst sent they been by, it was out of tune but at least all the keys worked, I will never use them again
7. R Supply
Address: 170 Frost St, Franklin, GA 30217 , Franklin , Georgia , United States
Been doing business there for 20 years. Consistently the best team of gear heads in ATL since day one. Friendly, knowledgeable and passionate about serving the needs of local musicians. If you haven’t been there then do yourself a favor and go check it out. Great gear and great folks!
The staff was very friendly and helpful. A staff member helped with some things. Not my first time shopping here so I know that for sure.
Nice place to buy used gears!
I bought my Les Paul there! No doubt it was a good deal!
This is the best place to buy used gear that I have found. I’ve been shopping here since 2009 when they were over in Lilburn, and having said that, I’ve encountered some issues recently. A couple of years ago, I bought a 1999 MIJ Ibanez 7 string for $600 from them. Nice guitar, but recently, my daughter decided to take up drums, so I brought the Ibanez back to get store credit since they take trades, and they offered $300 cash/$325 trade, which seemed low so I sold it the very next day for $750. I came back with the money to buy an electric drum kit, and picked one out. It didn’t have a power supply, but they located one that would work, only to find that the kit was dead, wouldn’t even turn on. So how did it get out on the floor? I picked out another one that said on the tag it had a power supply, but they couldn’t find it and after a long while of searching through various cords they found one that would work, but considering the dead kit and the missing power supply it took a lot longer than you’d think. They seem more disorganized and at times overwhelmed compared to what I’ve experienced in the past, and compared to previous trade in experiences, they seem to be offering less than they used to. Still a great music store though.
They had exactly what I was looking for in store. The staff was nice and took care of the necessary covid19 precautions by ensuring I used hand sanitizer and masked up before entering. The employee I spoke with told me exactly where to look to get what I needed. My only reason for giving it 4/5 stars is because I felt it was overpriced. Nice store though and very well organized.
Helpful staff with a variety of instruments and accessories available for purchase. The prices seemed pretty good from my experience. Several higher end instruments but plenty for the beginner as well.
I’ve purchased from several other locations and always dealt with people happy to make a deal and help out on the price, this place, nobody seems to care about customer service or making money. They lost out on upwards of $2000 I was ready to give them TODAY. I hope the owner sees this.
Edit: Was told via a reply to this review to call and ask for Ann. Called THE VERY NEXT DAY to find out she’s on vacation. But the way I was told was “she’s not here” “… do you want to tell me what day I should try again” “she’s on vacation”
I will NEVER spend a dollar at this store that needs to fire their entire staff and start over. Absolutely disgusting customer service
Second edit: Finally got ahold of the owner. Just an absolute lack of customer service or any type of common sense. Lost a customer for life.
This place hates money.
Got offered $350 for an excellent condition USA Fender Stratocaster with all original tools, trem etc today – IN TRADE against a guitar in their store. Jerry, the sales associate, didn’t even take it out of the case for his “appraisal”. Meanwhile, they have another USA Fender Stratocaster with the same specs (I know, because I looked for the equivalent on their website before even going there) for $900. Oh, wait, there was a difference – theirs is dinged all over. When I pointed that one out, I was told it was “different’. Wouldn’t elaborate why, of course. Because it wasn’t, apart from the dings of course. Won’t be back.
Dusty and disorganized. No temperature room like Guitar Center.
