This is a great local music store. They have an amazing sheet music section in the back. It’s a fun store. They really want to help you out.
Totally old-school music store. Great customer service, good selection, and will work with you on many prices.
Mo’s is Fullerton’s best kept secret. If you need anything with regards to musical instruments and equipment, Mo’s is the place to go.
Closes too early. Should close at 8PM.
Great store extremely nice staff
It’s a great place for musical instruments great staff good location
Bad customer service. Once I went to buy a box of clarinet reed and I asked for a box of vandorens but cashier just kept offering their own crappy brand. Totally was not happy about that. On top of that, I asked the dude for a bass clarinet reed and I found out I bought a Barri sax reed. This store is not recommanded
I bought a ukulele from them paid way to much for it.. my fault that I did not have my phone to compare prices.. when i went home he forgot to give me the case and tuner..so make sure he gives you everything.. it pays to buy on line way cheaper!
I took in a Nickel- plated 1969 Olds Studio to sell or exchange for a concert ukelele. They insisted I look at ukeleles while they priced out my trumpet (without even looking at my trumpet!)
After one employee and I decided on a Kala ukelele that was MSRP List priced at $429 and retails for $299, we went to the guy who makes the decisions and he said he would buy my trumpet for $250. I asked about a straight exchange for the Kala and he said the Kala was $429. I was so angered that he tried to charge me MSRP for $299 retail Kala I just said no thanks and I went elsewhere.

I’m a first-time violin buyer and was intimidated with all the different selection they have. Mr. And mrs. Song were very helpful played many different violins for me until I heard the one I wanted. They made me an amazing deal and we’re very friendly to a new violinist or Fiddler. I challenged Mr song to a Charlie Daniels standoff Sunday.

Excellent teachers, staff and customer service. If you are looking for lessons or even looking to buy an instrument this place is PERFECT for that. Will be coming back every week for lessons
The best violin / cello shop you can possibly find in OC area! Owners have extensive knowledge of the fields and they don’t try to sell, they care about customers^^
너무 친절하시고 잘 설명해주셔서 합리적인 가격으로 아이용 바이올린을 기분좋게 구매할수있었습니다

Wow. Great place to get records. Super nice staff. Give it a try.
Excellent
Awesome punk record store in fullerton with vintage band t shirts, new and used records, leather jackets and shoes. I found a couple good shirts. It’s in a cool area of downtown fullerton. The staff is super friendly. There is a cool vintage costume and clothing store next door. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in fullerton.
Cool stuff just a little pricey
Cool spot for vinyl, great location.
Sorry that was incorrect. Sorry. I liked your shop, but found the peice of a huge majority of your vinyl really high. Almost everything was way over retail price anywhere else. But there where some great titles available
Ordered two albums – shipped to Canada faster than some Canadian dealers do – great pricing, and the LPs were fantastic. Top notch service!
good service but in order to enter you need to do a lot of swimming
My experiences with Puke N Vomit records have always been positive. I’ve been buying from them for a few years and am always glad I did. Something’s out of stock? I get a quick email response and refund for the item and usually a portion of shipping. Orders may take a little bit of processing time, but this ain’t amazon. Once it ships out it quickly arrives. It’s nice to still have a place to order music that fits my weird tastes. As an added bonus, I’ve even gotten goodies in a couple of my larger orders! It’s a pleasant surprise on top of the great selection of rare, weird, and/or heavy punk and metal albums. Highly recommended!
I brought my 5th grader here for cello lessons. His school requires him to choose a string instrument to play and he chose cello. He’s never had any music lessons before and I just wanted him to be able to follow along in school. Andy is his cello teacher and he is the nicest guy, as well as an awesome cello teacher. He is also a professional cellist. My 2nd grader wanted to try piano lessons too, so Dr. Lee matched him with his piano teacher and he seems to be enjoying it. Dr Lee is the director and she is very sweet. All the teachers are super nice and my kids both seem to be enjoying their lessons, while learning quickly and improving quickly as well. I’d recommend this studio for anyone who wants to learn any musical instrument.
Dr.Lee is a great teacher.
She is very kind & professional teaching skills.
She’s knowledgeable and talented in teaching music.
So thankful and happy I found this place and met Dr.Lee.
If you want a current, well- rounded education about the industry and some amazing mentors and opportunities this is definitely the place to come to.

The studio is well equipped, has great instruments and equipment. But most of all, they have Tony Mancini. A studio is only as good as its engineer and Mancini is on the rise. The best thing about Tony is that he cares about you as an artist and your artistic vision. He also cares about the quality of the music that the studio produces so you can bet everything they do will have an amazing and distinct sound.
Tony is the man! Really easy going and helps guide you through the session with little to no trouble at all. Couldn’t recommend it enough! Our songs sounded great from the rough mix alone, so I can’t wait to hear how good the proper mix is!

These guys are great techs. They work on all tube amps and do great guitar set ups. CLASS ACT service…!!!
Exellent service at a great price.
I had originally called Ryan about repairing an amp. While on the phone he indicated he works on guitars. I was so impressed with his professionalism I took my Rickenbacker to him a week later for maintenance and setup and was delighted with the results. He recommended lighter gauge strings due to a small crack in the neck, and was able to adjust the neck. Ryan also finished ahead of schedule and was very professional. I would highly recommend OC Guitar Amp Repair to other musicians.
I took my amp, to OC Guitar Amp Repair, to make sure it would work correctly. After years of gigging, and at times being in storage, the amp needed to be freshened up, and just gone through, to make sure everything was in working order. The service took a week, which he (Ryan the Shop Owner and Repair tech) did express it may take up to two weeks. When I got the amp home the bass adjusted knob did not work. I called Ryan, he told me that the sound would be minimal. I attempted to adjust the bass controls, and no sound difference happened. When I called him back, he stated I never mentioned that too him… I think I did not get the service I requested. He told me I would have to pay for him to look at the amp again… In my opinion this is horrible service… I took the amp in to make sure it worked properly, never tried to haggle, or disputed the price… I think better customer service would help this amp repair shop get more business… At this point I DO NOT recommend this repair shop at all. Although my amp was worked on, it was not to my expectations, and I did not get the service I paid for…
Update 9/22/2020
After speaking with Ryan (the shop owner and tech) we agreed on the amp being worked on again by him. The amp took about a month to receive, in full working order. I think if you are planing on having Ryan work on your equipment, a full written agreement needs to happen… A thoroughly written agreement!!!!! I believe Ryan is knowledgeable, and does understand the way amps work. Customer service is the only issue that I feel needs to be addressed. I am appreciative that my amp is fully repaired now…I wish this shop the best of luck, unfortunately my review stands, on just poor communication, and poor customer service.
I made a call to ask a few simple questions and the person who answered was very patronizing and rude. Instead of helping me and walking me through my issue he said “get your info straight and call back”. As someone who works in customer service I could never imagine being so disrespectful to a customer. Will not be giving this company any future business and I recommend everyone else steer clear.

There is magic in there. Feels like we were in OLLIVANDER’S WAND SHOP – DIAGON ALLEY . Never get a chance to ask his name, after we had our flute fixed. They are really nice, and very helpful. Not your typical music store these days. He saves us a lot of money. Btw, They ARE there ,between 57 and 61,if this is your first time there.
Fantastic service. Very friendly.
He resurrected both of my flutes and they have many different other instruments as well my boots play like they were new off the show and the timing was much better than I ever could have expected from an adjustment these guys are in the zone they straightened my food out and gave me all new pads and now I am also like this now both techs patient yet casual it’s like magic mountain for a musicians I feel so good I am even starting to rhyme LOL thank you guys so much
Very friendly. I brought my son’s pocket trumpet in to have it tuned. One of the staff blew into my son’s trumpet and a piece flew out. I was not aware that it had be damaged and then tried to return it with a dent. I looked at the gentlemen, not happy and stated I did not give this to you with a dent and you will need to repair this. They repaired it the best they could with only a minor flaw. I still paid. You get a 3 star for still requiring me to pay after you damaged my son’s trumpet (his retired marine grandfather purchased for him)
15. Paul’s Violin
Address: 1761 W Houston Ave, Fullerton, CA 92833 , Fullerton , California , United States
We went to get the hair changed on our son’s cello bow with his teacher’s recommendation. The owner was very knowledgeable. He loves music and what he does. He does love to talk but you don’t have to agree with what he says. He is just passionate. As for the hair change, he did a great job and took him about 30 minutes. Oh, it also costed $20 cheaper than the other place we took it to. We will definitely come back.
I have known Paul for about a year. I was introduced to him by one of my string quartet members who also performs as a principal cellist in several orchestras around the Orange County area. I needed to get my bow re-haired and he referred me to Paul’s Violin shop. I found that Paul, the owner, is not only an amazing luthier with an abundance of knowledge about string instruments, but his suggestions in violin playing, vibrato and musicality has been an eye-opening experience. English is not his primary language but music is universal. I understand his “passion” perfectly but can sometimes be misunderstood. Paul also introduced a violin teacher to me who has helped refine my skills further. Despite of his language barrier, I know he does this out of kindness. I have been studying with this teacher for about 3 months now and I couldn’t be happier! It has been a great experience and probably the best instructor I have studied with even though I was a violin performance major in college. I also purchased a very nice violin from Paul and ever since then, I cannot stop playing this violin! I am an active chamber musician and a symphony orchestra member in Orange County performing regularly. All I can say is I am so happy to have met Paul. He is a passionate, kind and a down to earth luthier. Paul has given me the right advise for anything about strings. I strongly recommend his services and guidance. His prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend visiting him.
Very informative, and helpful.
The first thing the owner asked me when I walked into the store was who my violin teacher was. Strangely enough, when I told the owner his name, the owner started defaming him, criticizing his style of music and posture. Then, he proceeded to criticize my posture and style of play, and tried to teach me how to grip a bow.
Oh, and he suggested for me to get a new violin teacher.
I went there to purchase a violin, not learn how to play the violin.
I have been playing for 8 years, adapting to my own posture and style of play… I have plenty experience in youth orchestras and obtained a cm degree in violin. The owner of the store is haughty, cocky, and unprofessional.
So, I just decided to leave. Here is where it got worse.
When I got up to leave, the owner got mad and told me that I needed to pay for the rinsing of pegs (he VOLUNTARILY applied some wax because the pegs started getting creaky). Well, I did pay him, realizing thst this person might be the most childish, disrespectful person I’ve ever met.
Hated this experience, will never come ever again.
Very talkative, always tries to raise the price, and exaggerates his work. Would not reccomend.
Very pricey!!!
