I had a wonderful time producing a recording session here for singer songwriter Clay Cabe. Brent is a master behind the board and also laid down some wicked electric guitar lines! Thanks to Big Event Music for making this a great and memorable session!
Great place to record your next CD
Thank you, thank you Mike and Big Event Music. On a Saturday on a holiday weekend with the blues festival onging, MIke repaired a shot jack on my Telecaster that I was set on gifting to my daughter as a surprise. Big Event is my go to place now in Hot Springs.
Very Helpful! Thank you for your service to our community.
Awesome place
These guys are always willing to help and are really knowledgeable .
I bought a lot of things from Brent when the store sold instruments and amps and was always happy with them. Unfortunately, things have changed. I brought a guitar in that needed a rewire job. I was aware they were busy with festivals but they kept my guitar for 2 months and finally called and told me they didn’t have time to fix it. Needless to say, I wont be back.
Not enough inventory
I bought everything from guitar cases to a JBL top of line PA from them before I found out they are totally BOGUS! Sold me used merchandise as new, then got an attitude when I called them on it! Cuss me out when you’re a thiefing liar? I don’t think so! I wouldn’t buy a guitar pick from these people!!!
2. Guido’s Hot Springs Music

Surprisingly good music store. They have vintage American and cool vintage imports as well. Not many music stores have a vintage Gibson Firebird and an Electra MPC in the same store. I will be visiting again.
If unique or vintage guitars and gear are your thing, give the folks at Guido’s a call. I’ve known Anthony for several years and he always has a great selection of vintage and used gear. And he’s always good for a memorable story or two! Pay them a visit and check out their inventory. You won’t be disappointed!
Great service and reasonable prices.
I bought a 1949 Gibson LG3 from Guido at the Arlington Guitar Show this past weekend that he stated to be all original. Within 24 hours I discovered the bridge had been replaced which effects its value greatly. I asked for some compensation for this change & Guido refused to give me a break on price & refused to take it back. He stated “I should give him back money from our last transaction or he would do nothing for me”. Is this how you want to be treated by a so called expert ? There was no offer ever made to buy back both guitars back from me at all. Never again will I be burned by Guido !
I was playing an acoustic while the owner was making a sale. While seeing he was making a sale, I knew to play quietly. The owner stopped, looked at me and my age, (19) and told me to put the guitar up if I wasn’t a serious customer. He then proceeded to take the guitar himself and tell me to ask to play the guitars. I’ve never had that happen before at this specific store. So, I then went to the electric section to try out a Fender Jaguar. After I plugged in and tuned up, I went to play. After the owner made his sale, he proceeded to tell me that I was being disrespectful by not asking and yanked the guitar for me and put it up. He then kicked me out. I’ve never been treated so poorly at a music store in my life. You sir, have a lost a loyal customer.
This is easily the worst guitar shop I have ever been in. His prices are outrageous for the cheap faulty equipment he sells. The 15$ guitar amp cord I bought from him recently broke within a week. WITHIN A WEEK , for 15$ I could have gotten quality cord. He treats customers as poorly as he let’s his shop look. If you want to buy shoddy guitars , faulty equipment, and be treated like garbage that has sat on the curb for a month then go ahead and buy from this crook. I DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING HERE , if you need a guitar for someone who’s never played and you don’t what you need look elsewhere . Buyer be warned.
Very well organized and huge selection, they have a little something for everyone. Prices seemed reasonable and they had a lot of first pressings. The type of vinyls they had were mainly 70s-90s with a smattering of older and newer records in the mix. They also had some cassettes. The lady who helped us was very kind and helped make our experience be a great one. Definitely recommend a stop in, but be warned you will not leave empty handed
Pats got the records .if your a collector definitely check it out
Great merchandise!!!!!! The owner was very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely a must see in Hot Springs 🙂
Needs to update store hours. Drove 20 minutes to see that they were closed.

Thank you for your patience, skill, and ability to make learning the piano fun for my son!
Shelley is really good with my 9 year old as a new student. She makes it fun and interesting for him. She’s very experienced in teaching music lessons to all ages.
My son has taken lessons from Ms. Martin for over 6 years! He has truly grown as a musician under her guidance!

One of my favorite places to shop. They have the best selection of new and used tv series and seasons on dvd. They also have a massive selection of movies and music. A++++
This place is awesome it has a good stuff
Absolutely love this place and so does my kiddo
It was pretty good just wish they had more of a selection of k-pop
Ok for random nerd culture stuff. It looks like it’s about to close for good in the near future.
Amazing place to shop for electronics pop culture and collectibles. Only giving it 4 stars because I asked the employee a question after making my purchase about an exclusive they had and she was a little rude about it. But other than that they where very nice. Very well put together store. Great prices!!
Very hot alot of the merch was damaged and pretty sure it’s hot enough to spoil the snacks.
Overpriced and underwhelming. As soon as we said not interested in the members card,
the cashier’s attitude did a 180 and she actually delayed our transaction to do a price check for someone else.
False advertising
BOGO beanies (no exclusions listed) are not BOGO….they are BOGO with exclusions. I spoke with 2 staff members who could or would not help and there was no manager.
Take the signs down or honor them.

Great store. Had so much fun picking through the records. Took home some really unique finds!
Love getting my records here very good price and super nice! TCB ⚡️
This store has made significant improvements! A good rotation of new stock hand picked by the owner and cautiously graded make this a store to visit often…
