Aug,7,2020- I ordered the chicken sandwitch & fries & dr.pepper. It was fresh & hot & good.
3years ago-It has been a good place to eat at. I have all was got my food fixed right.
Good food
Fast and friendly service
Grandkids love it,so-so for me.
The food was not good. There was cold fries and I had to wait for an apple pie. It was an okay visit, but they often miss the mark when I go there. I only go out of desperation. Late at night, nothing else is open… I’ll go here then.
Coffee – perfect!
Ordered at the digital thing and requested table service wasn’t disrespected when I got my food I was eatting my food and i over heard one of the employees yell at a manager about sauce he was very loud they need to hire new staff it made me really mad how they were treating everyone.
My husband’s hamburger patty was red (raw) inside and disgusting.
The employees were rude and the menu wasn’t full service like the other McDonald’s. They didn’t have all advertised items available. Overall poor quality, service and time it took to serve. Very unsatisfied
2. Jake’s Music Room
Address: 101 Locust St, Gadsden, AL 35901 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
The atmosphere was for grown folks and pleasantly festive. The rooftop was the draw for me. Nothing better than enjoying good company, my favorite drink and a smooth cigar on the rooftop under the stars. The people were truly friendly with that down home hospitality feel. The drinks were not watered down and the employees were the friendliest I’ve experienced in quite awhile. This place is definitely a draw for the city. Nothing like it within 60 miles. Being from out of town, I was pleasantly surprised. The only problem experienced was the fact that the rooftop area was closed to patrons way too soon. Those who experienced being told of the restriction were not pleased at all. Other than that, 5 stars….May they live long and prosper.
Enjoy Jake’s every time I’m there
You’ve got to check out this hidden gem!
Love that place for partying and It is so laid back. The people that runs the business makes you feel like your family…could use some small repairs and updated little .the ceiling leaked and ants were in there too.
Chill little spot.
Good place but never have my favorite drink
3. Center of Hope Thrift Store Glencoe
Address: 3100 E Meighan Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Great place to shop for a good discount on household products.
Found a few “treasures.”
I like this store. Lots of “stuff”!
I love the thrift you can find nice things but Gosh they going up on toddler clothes . Like faded tights In the knees was $5 like come on now that should’ve been tossed in the trash!!! I get it’s to help the staff with room and board but the prices are expensive. Selling broken things or ruined clothes it’s not Right and sure not Godly .
Came here and found an amazing antique writing desk, absolutely gorgeous. But they also willingly sold me a broken arctic air fan that soaks my floor. Leaves me feeling conflicted.
I have shopped here quite a few times.
I enjoy shopping here.
All the employees are always helpful, friendly & knowledgeable.
I will continue to shop here, if you look around, you can find some really good bargains!
Prices are very high compared to when they open
This once Christian thrift store is now afflicted.
The prices are now too high and all sorts of unchristian activity present.
Prices high
4. Gadsden Music Company
Address: 607 Broad St, Gadsden, AL 35901 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Incredibly helpful setting up my new rental & recommending necessary accessories.
Great selection of musical instruments and a very kind and courteous staff! Financing options available.
It’s just ok
Really nice guy working there not to pushy but let us nknow he was there if we needed him. Oh and the selection was huge and reasonably priced
Alot of merchandice to choose from. The employees were ftiendly and helpful. It was a very pleasant trlp to the music store. My hat is off to the owners and associates ok f Gadsden Music Store.
This place used to be very friendly and musicians dream to come in. Now it’s full of a bunch of butt heads. I Won’t Go Back
We were overcharged for a high hat cymbal that we ordered. When they refunded the difference, they did not refund the taxes on the difference.
We try to support local business as much as possible. But when they are not considerate of the value of our money, it’s time for us to find another store.
Rip off & don’t know measurements for nuts/ saddle’s probably anything just a store that takes suckers for a ride
5. Domino’s Pizza
Address: 700 Chastain Blvd E, Glencoe, AL 35905 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Awesome service and great food, definitely recommend.
New taters are fabulous!
I’m so glad we have a Domino’s Pizzeria near Glencoe now! This is by far the greatest Dominos pizza I’ve had in awhile. The only thing that was a bit annoying when I went to pickup my order, was that the music was really loud as soon as you walk in. The cashier and I had to repeat ourselves, because we couldn’t hear each other. I need to be able to know what the cashier is saying, especially when it comes down to the total cost of my order. Maybe as a suggestion lower the music a bit down to where everyone can hear eachother and enjoy the music. But other than that the food and staff are great! ❤️
Slow service, good food.
I had the Italian sandwich and it was very good! I have to leave out the green peppers though due to possible acid problems.
Pizza was quick and delicious. Just sucks that you wouldnt deliver it right down the road from where your store is. I even offered to meet your guys half way or somewhere neutral, but you still refused… seems like you’d treat your loyal customers better than that.
Normally I love Domino’s pizza but this order had one burned pizza . I paid extra for extra toppings it did not appear to be any extra at all. We have irdered from multiple Dominos in multiple locations and they have all been similar. Thus one was not. When the person with me stopped by to tell them about the problem, the assistant mznager said she made the pizza and there was nothing wrong with it. I took pictures. I do not plan to order from this restaurant again.
Sat and waited for my order everyone before me got their food. Manager very rude will never be back. Not even I’m sorry. I work with people she was very rude. Pizza was bad asked for light sauce got nothing.
First time coming to this location. The customer service was pretty good cause they’re very patient with me. However the food did leave an aftertaste that wasn’t pleasant, I asked for extra Ranch but yet it was pretty dry and I couldn’t even finish my sandwich cause the taste was pretty nasty.
6. GAT3 Midsouth Recording
Address: 1820 US-278, Gadsden, AL 35903 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
I absolutely loved the atmosphere in this store I went with my parents yesterday and it was really cool they got a lot of amazing things from pipes to bongs to crystals to tapestries and the employees are so chill and very helpful and for the most part everyone had a smile on in the store definitely recommend for teens 17 and up tho
Chilled environment
Great place and Carl is the man.
Variety of things I was looking for a little pricey customer service was ok I guess

I went for 3 fish sandwiches and one crispy chicken sandwich it cost 18.00 which i got the crispy chicken that was crispy and their fish sandwiches were for my son and husband i wouldn’t eat their fish sandwiches are not worth 3.99 McDonald’s is to expensive.

10. OTC ENTERTAINMENT
Address: 109 Oakleigh Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
They had everything I needed. Glad to see them open again
I’ve known her since Albertville, Connie is Alright!
Excellent locally owned and operated business!
Friendly local place and with high prices but a good selection and knowledgeable.
Eeeeh
this place is burnt!
The people are not friendly, the merchandise is overpriced, some equipment is not even new (and it is damaged) although they don’t disclose that information, and getting around in a wheelchair is next to impossible. The lady at the register didn’t know anything about the equipment. It is definitely worth the drive to go somewhere else.
Awful place with cheap brands and overpriced / broken used instruments.
12. Laura Dodd
Address: 728 Forrest Ave, Gadsden, AL 35901 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Hi LAURA DODD!!!! The LAURA DODD!!!
I would live to make a contribution to your campaign, as your headquarters looks quite seedy!!! Image is EVERYTHING. As is honestly, transparency, integrity and CONNECTIONS. You go Girl! Let me know if I can help BOX anything for you
13. Dollar General
Address: 3022 E Meighan Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Everyone was so nice and it was a pleasant shopping experience!!
Could use more cashiers they always seem to busy to care how many people are in line they stick with one cashier
This store is always in a state of disarray. They seem to always be stocking the shelves here so buggies Boxes Etc are always in the way. Sometimes the shelves will be empty for days waiting on them to get the merchandise onto the shelves. The manager’s name is Steve and he is constantly following you around giving you the feeling that he thinks you’re going to steal something which makes me very uncomfortable and I just want to leave.
Aisles are always cramped up with stock that needs to be put out. They are always out of what I am looking for or do not carry the same item long.
Store was out of a lot of stock in canned foods got stock carts setting around with empty boxes making it hard to get around with a buggy
Only one person putting out stock but spending more time up front talking to the other person that was working
There Was Only Two People Working
Dirty cluttered store.
There are always boxes in the isle and a big buggy. And ppl putting things up will not move so you can get what you need.
14. Dollar General
Address: 1622 E Meighan Blvd, Gadsden, AL 35903 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
Love this place! Literally taking all of my bussiness from Walmart and restoring it here. Never been happier. No matter the location.
Friendly staff and great prices as always!
Just a quick stop…
Not enough help
A mess and needs to be cleaned up
I was asked if the cashier could search my purse and she was the one attending the register. She was not loss prevention trained nor experienced. She offended and embarrassed me in a store full of customers. The assistant manager was standing right next to her and did not say a word until I lost my cool. I called asking for the store manager and still have not received a call or apologies. I will never app at this location again!!! That employee should be fired… This is a lawsuit by all means!!!
I understand with covid-19 there’s a lot of stuff going on it’s hard to keep things stocked, but this was early in the day and the place had nothing. I had several items on my list add went to look for it couldn’t find a single one. And the guy asked that worked there, just acted like he couldn’t be bothered with my question of where something might be located.
Need more minority and Latinos working at their stores
15. Books-A-Million
Address: 1001 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901 , Glencoe , Alabama , United States
A favorite spot for we that love to read, coffee and goodies too!
Lots of books
It usually has something I’m looking for and I find something I didn’t know I wanted. Great staff.
Always a good place to look over some good and new books. They keep store looking GOOD.
More selection than Barnes and Noble; plus it’s local!
My girlfriend went to this Books-A-Million which is a little out of the way for us (meaning we don’t have much a reason to go there often enough). And she was pressured into buying a membership discount card by an associate named Raphael who lied to her and told her that she could use it at 2nd And Charles, even though he should have known that they don’t work. (It even says it on the cards where they can be used)
There hasn’t been a cashier at either side the last few times I’ve been in there and it took forever for someone to show up.
Employees were helpful and they had what I was looking for; it’s more the company itself and the way it operates that caused my bad experience. I went into the store looking for an old paperback book written in the 1930s – less than 200 pages. The thing was $16 when I could have bought it online for less than $5. Ordered a chai latte from the coffee station (over $4 for their smallest size) and overheard the employee saying, “I don’t really know how to make this”. Turns out, I paid $4 for a glass of milk with a tablespoon of chai powder in it. Also, they don’t have military or student discounts, which is disappointing. I’m surprised BAM has survived in the current economic climate with E-books being as cheap and accessible as they are.
I want to do business with Books-A-Million, but they really need to step up their game and prove that they put customers first.
P.s. Returns and refunds have gone smoothly in the past.
