Brought my son to buy some trombone essentials which included a learning book and they had it all. It’s a cozy little store with lots of instruments essentials and more with very reasonable prices. The guy that helped us was really nice and informative. I highly recommend them for any of your instruments needs including music classes.
Cool people’s,,,,go!!!!!!!
Was referred to this place by a friend. I’m very happy that I took a chance on IB music center. My 6 yr old son just received a drum set. I want to make sure he not only learns how to play the drums but also read music. Our first lesson was very impressive. Victor did a wonderful job teaching my son how to read the notes, stay in rhythm, and position himself correctly on the seat. I have to admit, I’m excited to see how my son will progress in a month. I definitely recommend this place. They sell various instruments and also have a rental program for kids in school. Repaired one of my son’s drum heads also. I will revise my review after 3 months and keep you all posted. Thank you Victor.
No es verdad que habrán Domingos. Yo fui y estaba cerrado.
Friendly staff, but they didn’t have much of a selection of instruments.
Good service
When picking up a repair, they had someone working the counter who didn’t know 1) where my guitar was, 2) if and how I could test it, or 3) how to work their cash register system so I could pay. The employee said they didn’t really know anything and was just covering, but they had to phone a supervisor 3 times get information and the pick up took way longer than expected.
I get it, folks are busy, but if an employee is covering during opening hours they should have some base line of training… right?
Also if you’re gonna pay this business money for something, make sure you have Zelle or venmo since that’s what I ended up having to use, and don’t expect a receipt!
They also lost the little screws on the backplate of the guitar, and since they don’t do repairs on site they couldn’t replace them when I picked it up and said I’d need to pay 10 dollars and do another repair.
All that to say, the guitar does work and sound good though, but I doubt I’d go here again if there are other options.

I bought a pioneer ddj sz from associate Juan Carlos. He greeted me very friendly as I walked in and came to assist me right away. He was very helpful and knew alot about the products. Anything he wasn’t sure on he went out of his way to look it up as he was helping other customers as well.
Thank you for the great service Juan Carlos. I will be back for more DJ equipment because of your outstanding service.
And ironically I was parked right next to him. Lol
Excelente lugar para adquirir instrumentos musicales
Friendly staff… Always have what I need.
Awesome
Cables are pricey but I guess the store needs the money.
Was good. Anything you want.
Placed an order for curbside pick up. Store called me once, didn’t leave a voicemail or email. Called them over 10 times throughout the day and did not respond, even the customer service rep from the national line couldn’t get ahold of them. I can understand there are delays but this level of incompetence is inexcusable. Customer service representatives where kind but not much help. They can only do some much when a store is not responding to any calls or emails.
Absolute dumpster fire. The employees either sit around playing their guitar uninterested in unlocking one for you, sit behind the register trying their hardest to not notice you, will walk away to go get someone else and never come back, and that’s all if can find someone on the floor at all. Shouldn’t take 20 min to buy strings, God forbid try to buy a guitar. Looks like Sweetwater is going to get the sale for a new Gibson.
I waited to long for an assistant and just decided to leave elsewhere.

I just went today to get my daughter’s violin rental. I was very confused because I have no knowledge in this field. The lady in the front was very helpful and patient with me. I knew that she knew I was confused. Happy to do business here. Thanks for the good, fast, and easy experience.
Amazing communication. I brought in my flute for evaluation for a complete overhaul. I received the evaluation results and cost of overhaul by email, phone call, and text. I could approve by text or call in. I got a live person bu both calling and texting. The cost of the overhaul will be comparable to what a flute technician will charge. I’ve used Bertrand’s for several instrument repairs and have always been pleased with the quality of the work.
I just want to give a shout out to a very helpful and kind employee names Kyana she helped us get out rental and was very attentive. We had a great experience and will definitely continue doing business here. I would recommend to anyone looking for a music shop to come here you will be helped for sure. 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
Both beautiful and professional people everytime I go there they have something new the only downfall of bertrands music is they don’t keep what they sell if you don’t get there in time its a wrap and it would be nice to have the instrument repair technician on site there’s only one other place I know that can give bertrands music any kind of real competition but they don’t advertise on the internet so more power to you bertrands people bertrands website doesn’t sin to cater to my phone service for some reason so I can’t see the instruments they have therefore they only get 4 stars I will updated accordingly and since we are name dropping raelina Espinosa and I have also noticed there are no bad reviews at all that’s good stuff I’m claiming that place LOL
Bought two Bach Strads from them a while back, a Trumpet (LR180S72) and a Flugelhorn (183S) at an absolute bargain of a price. The one gripe I have is that they take a little while to do repairs, as they send the instruments to San Diego to do so, but other than that this is a great place for all enthusiasts.
Very nice people, but I was a customer willing to pay for a horn, but wasn’t taken seriously at all. I went to another place, got my dream horn from the wall, and bought it there for $2000 less than what this place wanted. They said they were going to call me back, when my horn was ordered and ship to them, but one month later… still no call, so I decided to go back, and they yet have ordered the horn I wanted. They offered me brands I wasn’t even asking for, and insisted i buy that brand instead of what I WANTED.
Would not go back to this place. I went to to purchase reeds for my granddaughter . Cashier said I need to make a account I said I just here to buy reed’s I don’t want an account. She gave me hard time then called on her phone talked to some one said I could pay cash since I didn’t want to make an account. I said I don’t want an account I have my credit card n Id ,asked for my phone number.

Love this shop. Great customer service and really nice people here. You won’t find customer service like this in the big mega stores. Highly recommend.
So cool it has everything I need thanks to the store
Had a great experience and I can say it’s mostly because of the incredible employee service. I’m not musically inclined but they made it easy finding what I needed. Talk to Sam, she’s welcoming and informative.
Heck, I can’t sing a tune or play an instrument but I’m looking for ways to go back just so I can hang out. Great Riverside location. I think I just might take up an instrument.
11/08/2017 EDIT: No longer Music Mike’s, they sold out and it went corporate. Some of the employees stayed behind, which is pretty cool. I recently bought a breedlove guitar, and that transaction went well. Their inventory is really low at the moment during their changes and remodel, they didn’t have my fav strings. I’ll update after they become a bit more established.
(5 Star) Music Mike’s: Parking on the side street or in rear, from Brockton. Pretty cool place. Within a few seconds I was asked if I needed any help. I shop local a lot, mom and pop stores to support small businesses, this place def on my list now.
Large selection of musical instruments and the staff don’t mind us trying it out. Good service and selection.
I’ve not had a problem at Music Mikes…grandson got a set of drums and they went over the whole lesson plan for someone who has never played drums in the past and even asked me to step back by the lesson area where lessons were being performed so that I could watch one on one before making a decision.
Worth’s place to buy. Instrument the guys are so rude we want to buy a violin we get to the store and my daughter touch the violin and the guy start screaming at us do not touch! so just walked to the door and said thanks
Rude employees. When I’m dropping 93 dollars in your store, I don’t appreciate jokes like “let’s see how much money we can take from you today” or “it’s double price day”… Will not be going back.
Work on my fifty year old fender guitar was done well. Off site by a luthier. But the employee, one in particular leave a lot to be desired. I don’t go into a business to be given attitude by a person behind the counter that is younger than my own daughters.

We had our flute serviced here and they did a wonderful job. All staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you!
I made a purchase there a couple of months ago. Their prices were the best that I could find. I had a problem with my guitar tuner and expected to have to buy a new one. I did not have to buy a new one and they solved my problem. They’re always very cordial. I will not be going to any other store but this one.
This music supply store has just what I need for my playing and my teaching others how to play guitar and piano. Very friendly and helpful.
I called in advance and asked if they had specific items I needed that night, they said they did. When I got there they didn’t have anything I asked about in advance. The employees are uneducated about musical instruments and accessories. Go to another music store.
Do not go here. They wanted to charge 57.00 for cello strings that cost $10 online. They told us that they would love for us to show them where there were cheaper cello strings. They also said that normally they charge $114 dollars and they discounted it 40%. We looked online and saw that the same cello strings were only $10. They somehow couldn’t think of a cheaper string set that. $57! And that was discounted! If you want to get ripped off, then this is the place to go!
I have an old baritone sax. Up until a couple of years ago, it played just fine. I basically concentrate on my soprano, alto , and tenor. Occasionally I play the flute/piccolo. The bari spent most of it’s time on a stand, unplayed for a couple of years. It got knocked over a couple of times and a couple of things got bent (register key, key guard). I took it to them and they said it needed a complete overhaul. I disagreed since the last time I played it, it played fine. Even gave me the “your car needs a major overhaul and you just want me to put spark plugs in it’ analogy. I took it elsewhere and they straightened the key and the other physical damage, replaced a spring and a couple of pads and the neck cork and it play just fine once again.

Love this guitar center. I take my 6 year old here for guitar lessons and has made great progress, plays full songs on his own.
I have an old Yamaki Custom guitar…one of the “lawsuit” guitars of that period. The tuning gears were shot and it needed a setup. I called GC and talked to a great tech named Chris who urged me to bring my axe in to Steve on the following day. Steve’s face lit up the moment he saw my almost 50 year old baby. He promised me he would have it ready. When I picked it up, he stayed late to witness my reaction . Wow! This guy is a master ..the gears were installed, I picked the guitar the bridge was glued, and a great setup was performed. The guitar played and sounded like a Martin. Steve’s pride, patience and enthusiasm have given my music a reboot. If you ever need work done on your axe, take it to Moreno Valley GC.
Excellent customer service. The Guitar Center team members are very helpful and knowledgeable. If you are looking for a top notch music center Guitar Center is theee spot!!
Initially hard to find desired item, staff member came by and assisted us to find item, he was friendly and helpful.
I like this place, but honestly they don’t have every instrument there. If they had a lot of instruments this place would be amazing. The workers here are nice, but I would just like this place more if they have more instruments like accordions.
Small. Hardly any good inventory..the few good instruments they had were here ng high up out of reach and were locked.
bad service I was trying to buy a guitar ,customer service bad pick up
You are a disgusting sick company. How dare you hire wanted pedophiles and child sodomites with FELONIES on their record to work closely with CHILDREN! And then try to hide it and tell your employees to sweep it under the rug. It’s abominable! I’m a mother of two and I’m completely disgusted!
Marie, if you ever read this, bravo for being so brave to make the truth come to light. This cannot be tolerated!!!
Customer service is poor, store looks empty with leftover stock. Bathrooms weren’t working. Employees aren’t experienced to answer questions. Overall it was an unpleasant experience.
So I looked Kriss up on google and saw good reviews, and needed a good tech in the area. So happy i did, this guy did an awesome job on my strat. Frets have never been this smooth. He sorted out my intonation, action, decked my bridge at my request, added a spring, and even swapped out screws to match. Couldnt be happier with the job, and he did all this work in 3 days for 70$ basically. Very happy and will be returning with more gear for sure.
Thank you Kriss for an amazing set up for my guitar! Kriss was very professional and unintimidating to ask questions to. I got my guitar back way quicker than other service providers, which was cool too 🙂
My friend had the first guitar he ever bought in the 90s stashed in his parents garage for years, a Strat copy that had basically rusted itself into a coma. Loose tuners, bowed neck and rusted out electronics. For sentimental reasons he wanted it brought back to playing condition. Enter Modified sounds. They redid all the internal wiring, changed out the tuners and pickups and fixed the neck. The guitar plays amazing now, I plugged it into my 6505+ and it’s definitely gigable, and top notch customer service to boot, they kept me in the loop through the entire process. If you have a guitar that needs a little love (or a lot) I can say from my experience that you won’t be disappointed in the work or the guitar when you get it back.

Great place, the service has not changed since 2015. Lou and the staff are friendly and welcoming.
Greg & lou are experts!!
Really good service here and a huge variety of instruments at a variety of prices.
Walked in to find some ukulele books to learn and to play some music. They were a litter hard to find but I’m glad with my purchase. There isn’t a huge selection but there are some starter books so I’m ok with that!
Friendly, good selection and a great staff. They are cheaper than Guitar Denter, and far more knowledgeable & helpful.
Took my guitar to get adjusted and have new strings added. Get my guitar back with a string that was put on in such a way that i cant even use the string -.- string isnt even able to make anyguitar sound-___- as shown on picture ,third string was put in with no care );
The guitar tech here is totally incompetent. I have a tech that does amazing setups elsewhere but he has been away due to medical leave. I had brought in an instrument to be fret leveled and the guy here was using the fret rocker completely wrong with the strings on. He told me he couldn’t do anything and that I should wait for my miracle guitar tech. I’m glad I did not do business with these jokes.
Really unprofessional to me as there customer. Sold me a used amp that was broken.
Check your used gear before you sell it!
Told me they would fix it, free of charge and possibly throw in some gas money! The amp would be done in about 4 days. Awesome!
3 weeks later! Excuse after excuse, they than surprised me with 60$ Charge when i went to go pickup the amp. Not ok!
If the amp was completed in original time frame, i wouldnt have cared about the 60$ charge.
Styles music you still have the ability to correct this, i hope you reach out to me.
Bought a vintage guitar from this store that ended up having buzzing issues. Not thinking much of it I had a few techs look at it, all three techs stated and even showed me how bad the neck was warped, a long term issue from improper care. In hopes of returning a bit after their return policy since the issue had been there to begin with, they held their return policy ground, said their guitar tech looked at it with no problems, and even had the audacity to tell me that I not only needed a second opinion, but that the situation was nothing but buyer’s remorse! As if I don’t buy and sell guitars for a living. Seeing another review here about bad tech experiences here..I would normally say this tech needs to stick to basic restrings only, but apparently can’t even do that either. I wrote a very understanding and forgiving email about the issue and even offered an exchange for a different vintage guitar they had, trying my best to give this place a second chance..and not only outright refused me but added insult to injury claiming the neck warp was nonexistent. Thankfully I was able to sell the pickups for more than half what I paid, and plan on using the body for a custom project. One of the worst customer experiences I’ve ever had the pleasure dealing with. Completely insulting. I, nor anyone I know will buy from this store again.

I brought in a fender strat with REALLY worn down frets that needed repair and pickups that needed replacing. Jack did a fantastic job and I’ve never had a better playing guitar. He even takes pictures of all the work he does step by step and even put the pictures the work on my flash drive. I’m definitely bringing back my other guitars to him for setup.
