Very friendly. clean, neat and a nice selection of things.
This is a great place to shop. Take your time. Lots to look at. Men’s, women’s, teen’s to children and maternity clothes. Even electronics. I’ve even found some really cool fishing stuff. Housewares, vintage items.
Need I say anymore
Open Tues., Thurs. Saturday at 10.
It’s an awesome place to shop !!!
Small but very clean and organized. Good selection off stuff.
Hit and miss
Great prices and lot to chose from
5. The Gallery
Address: 107 W North St, Grangeville, ID 83530 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
This is nice, mellow place to gather. We didn’t eat this time, just did happy hour and visited with friends, but will be back for sure!
Yummy soups, salads and sandwiches. Offers a selection of wines and beers. A little restaurant inside a gift shop and art gallery space. Eclectic decor in a nice spot near downtown Graingerville. I went at lunch and had the special, a turkey soup. Highly recommended.
The food is very good
salads are great
Great place for girl friends to gather for lunch.
I like this quaint little place, from all the items on the menu, I know they can make just about every kind of drink and you can have a tasty morsel or two with it.
6. Second Hand Treasures
Address: 327 Vollmer St, Grangeville, ID 83530 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
Best place in town for healthy plants and excellent customer service! Everyone is super friendly and always willing to help you find what you need amd answer any questions!
We love Leanne’s! A perfect hometown flower and garden shop!
I do receive wonderful service and there is a wide variety of products.
Friendly service. Wide variety of plants & gardening supplies. Knowledgable staff. A little pricey compared to Clarkston/Lewiston, but average for the Grangeville area.
Ordered flowers over the phone, everything was easy.
Helpful and friendly on first visit , I will definitely return. Thanks RB
8. The Trails Restaurant & Lounge
Address: 101 E Main St, Grangeville, ID 83530 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
The service was amazing! Great crew! But the food was subpar at best. :/
Great food, friendly staff!!!
Good foods and beers! while there, no WiFi works. The nice waitress gave us the access but not working. Then we went there again just for beers yesterday and no wifi access still. :-/
Had bite size, supposed to be seared. Meat was Gray in color with a bad taste. Have had bite size there before and it was brown, clearly seared with good flavor, not sour.
They didn’t care, only said they had a new cook. Would not remove it from the bill.
So I paid over $20 for a salad and beer.
Went to Rib Guy, had a cheeseburger that was sadly 100 times better than Trails Bite Size
Over $40 spent just to have a good dinner.
Skip the Trails go some where else.
My name is Roy Johnson I’m living down here in white bird Idaho me and about 8 other people come up there and had dinner and my steak was too well done and I ate what I had and everything I came home and it had given me nothing but diarrhea since I left up there I guarantee you I will not be back
The food was good, the service was pretty lousy. There were plenty of waitresses so under staffing was not the reason. Our salads arrived and withing one minute we received our entrees. We asked for more bread for the artichoke dip and it came after the meal, burnt. I don’t recommend this place, it was pretty high priced too. And to make matters worse, I don’t think they even had the AC running and it was ridiculously hot this day making for an even worse dining experience.
9. Seidel Music & Repair
Address: 344 Thain Rd, Lewiston, ID 83501 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
This shop is always on time and the work never dissapoints.
Very helpful, they had me in and out very quickly. Very knowledgeable and friendly.
Customer service was great.
Super cool guys and super cool guitar instructor they are all very nice and have dogs that walk around in there sometimes and I freaking love it. Some items are a little expensive compared to online but their guitar selection is always matched or better than what you’ll find anywhere else
Very knowledgeable staff
Good place and quick.
They ran a hard credit check on my credit report without my knowledge or consent. I’m very mad at the ding it caused my credit score. Plus it’s just cheaper to buy off amazon. These mom and pop shops are closing themselves down by their own actions. Bye-bye!
One gentleman who works there is nice but the other is quite rude and makes you feel like unless you buy from them, your stuff is garbage.
10. Sagelands Music
Address: 125 E Main St, Emmett, ID 83617 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
I have been a drummer for 28 years and recently took up guitar lessons for my tenth time or so. I have never had an easier instructor to work with than Greg.
I also had my autistic nephew sign up and it has been an amazing turn in his life. Greg taught him a small song his first day, this drive him to love going and socialize. Now my nephew says Greg is the nicest guy he knows and can’t wait for lessons.
Greg is real, he is empathic and extremely polite . He listens to what you want to play and helps push you while keeping at a pace you can achieve. Now I’m taking vocal and guitar lessons and I’ve never had better instruction.
Also his prices are the best I’ve ever seen for professional lessons.
Very knowledgeable staff
Greg may not have what you need but he can get it. He’s very knowledgable of whatever you need to know and one of the nicest people you’ll ever deal with.
11. Gig’s Music
Address: 611 N Orchard St, Boise, ID 83706 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
These guys are great! Fixed up my ESP guitar and charged a great price. Hey have great stuff for sale and are always super helpful and nice. Best in Boise for sure!
It took a while to get parts for my amp shipped in but Andy kept in touch and did an amazing job. Purrs like a kitten now. Won’t take my gear anywhere else.
Took in my first guitar for a setup and saddle replacement and I couldn’t be more pleased with the service. I was told the saddle could be salvaged, but when I picked it he actually replaced it for half off parts and no labor! Definitely earned a customer for life, and the guitar plays like a dream now. 5/5 stars
Great help and service. Instruments were priced Right and in great condition for being used.
They don’t sell reeds…
The store is small, and the selection of instruments is not exactly large. Chances are, you’ll only find between 3 and 5 bass guitars for sale. There is usually an adequate amount of electric guitars to browse through though. Also, a fairly good selection of acoustic guitars. And, you’ll probably find some other instruments, like cigar box guitars, ukes and banjos.
If you are looking for used instruments and good deals, I think Gigs is worth visiting.
Andy, the store’s proprietor, is friendly, quite helpful, and easy to talk to. Several musicians I’ve talked with say he is a very good guitar tech.
There are one or more guitar teachers working there. I heard one was quite good, but I can’t remember his name, sorry. The teacher or teachers work with both adults and kids.
The worst thing about the store is sometimes people smoke in there. I don’t like being in an enclosed environment in which people are smoking. I tend not to stay long when I smell cigarette smoke. That’s just nasty, and discourages business.
If this store sold more bass guitars, and if no one ever smoked inside, I’ve be giving Gigs a 5 star rating instead of 4.
Ordered a Christmas gift for my husband from this place last year, and I’m still waiting. I called them 3 times about it and was told it was on order and they would call me. Never received a call. Very unprofessional. I believe in shopping local, but not at this Boise business.
I dropped off my amp to get the boost and reverb fixed in August 2019. Over a year later and I still don’t have my amp. I’ve stopped by several times and tried to help find the parts needed. They won’t answer or return my calls so stopping by is the only way to check in. It’s been perpetually “a couple weeks” away from being done for a year. Unbelievably bad service. Never ever rely on them for amp repair.
Went by to sell a couple guitars and amps on a Saturday. Hours on the door say they open at 11, but it was 1115 and noone was there. Another customer in the parking lot told me that “sometimes this just happens” and said he texted the owner to see when they were coming. At 1130 we both left. Follow the hours you show.
12. Discount Music Supply
Address: 5380 E Seltice Way STE C, Post Falls, ID 83854 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
Helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. Works with you to figure out an affordable option. Great experience! Will definitely return in the future
I didn’t know how to change my ukulele stings, so we went, and he changed them in less than ten minutes! Very friendly, supplies you with information that is needed, and had great prices. Super helpful. Our favorite music store.
I had gotten my daughter a violin for Christmas and she had a broken string… I know nothing about instruments Terry was very helpful and installed the string and everything for free very good customer service!! I will be going back for sure… customer service like that is few and far between.
Good selection and reasonable prices
awesome place to pick up some guitar strings, drum head or whatever you need at a fair price. Plus they price match internet prices..
Good deals decent service.
It’s really too bad these geniuses have the most ridiculous hours of operation. Tried to explain to their feeble minds that people that can afford to spend money on musical instruments are WORKING for a living. Nobody is going to take time off of work to go shop at this place. Open at a decent hour and I’ll shop there. In the last 4 1/2 years, I’ve spent approx. $5,000.00 ELSEWHERE as a direct result of their terrible hours. This I must say is regrettable as I would much prefer to keep the money here in Post Falls. Note: I’ve heard these jokers complaining that sales are very poor at that store. No wonder.
I made the drive out here from spokane based on reviews I thought it would be worth it to check it out. I got there at 3:44 and it was closed. I understand it’s in a sort of secret place but if you’re gonna close early you should maybe close around half an hour early rather than nearly an hour and a half early.
I am on tour with my band, and I am in dire need of some new sticks. We call the store around 5:30 pm to ask them when they close. They close at 6pm and we tell them we are on our way right then. Get there at 5:45 pm and they are closed. I mean, no one there, they counted out, gone. I know many musicians who tour around the area often and I have told them to NOT go to this store. Go to Burts.
13. Wilburn Custom Shop
Address: 118-B N 2nd Ave, Sandpoint, ID 83864 , Grangeville , Idaho , United States
I have a gifted guitar for my birthday and I just wanted to say, ThankYou it sounds amazing and good tone. Great practice guitar too great for jamming, I also bought an few percussion accessories, an also drum sticks which is worth it for the good quality they are still lasting, and good service. Amazing shop to visit when looking for good Priced instruments or learning the names of instruments.
Bought a guitar case for our son here because the one we ordered online somewhere didn’t fit. Sarah was very helpful fitting one to the smaller size. About a month later, we came in to buy new strings. Sarah was very knowledgeable, pointing us to the right strings and stringing the acoustic guitar for us in less than 15 minutes. This friendly local family-owned shop is where will be coming for all our guitar needs in the future!
Scott did a great job repairing the neck and frets on my strat. Friendly, knowledgeable, and honest service. This is a well stocked music store for any musician.
Family owned and ran by father daughter, won’t help you if you have cheap guitar and, supper opinionated about Taylor’s. Wish it could be cooler but does not pass vibe check.
Met with a deaf, unfriendly, inhospitable musician. Prices are not marked and not open to add to the local music scene. Go elsewhere imo.
Make sure dad is there before going in, they can’t take are debit or credit card unless daddy is there. Went in twice with no luck, this is why people shop on the internet, ugh so annoyed
