Great place so clean, clean bathrooms and good beverages and food, especially GODFATHER PIZZA, which I haven’t had in years.
I love Love’s. Good food, great coffee, clean bathrooms, nice gifts, lots of snacks, electronics, clothes, other essential items for travel, and competitive gas prices, air for your tires, and dump station for RVs. They have it all.
Quick service at the shop! Good amount of parking too!

Posted last week somehow it’s not here… I’ll repost!!!
My husband came in to get food two cashiers were working one register… one checking out one bagging for a non trucker. My husband a trucker says come on now you have truck drivers that have to go. She said this isn’t a truck stop.. Really that is a surprise to all the truck drivers.
I hope someone in corporate office reads the reviews because they don’t answer the phones!!
People need to realize how much they rely on us truck drivers…try going without us!!
I have tried to eat at this location 3 times.
Food is not edible. Something needs to be done about the quality of the food at this location.
5. Huggins Piano Services
Address: 3718 32nd St, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 , Greene County , Alabama , United States
I spoke to Mr. Huggins who connected me with his mover Mr. Coleman who would move a baby grand piano for us. Mr. Coleman called within an hour and confirmed his availability. He did an excellent job picking up our new piano and transporting it safely to our home. It was wrapped carefully and transported carefully with no damage at all. He was friendly and responsive. Thank you so much for your excellent service.
Drinks galore

The folks at Art’s are top notch people who were incredibly helpful and most importantly, expressed themselves to be true enthusiasts of music themselves. They may be “salesmen”, but they came off more as highly knowledgeable fellow shoppers that had very straightforward and non-salesy opinions of the Breedlove acoustics and G&L electrics I was looking into. I had a really fun time trying out at least 10 different guitars in a relaxed but helpful atmosphere. Importantly, every guitar they had on the wall was expertly setup with appropriately filed nuts, adjusted saddles, and perfect relief on the necks. The Breedlove Organic Series Concerto I purchased was legitimately came as perfectly setup as you can get right off the display wall. I just with they had a store in my hometown of New Orleans, LA.
changed to 4 stars because service isn’t as good as it used to be. It is now only ok. Was also very expensive.
Always have a good experience at Arts. They work well with the school programs and if they don’t have what we need they are sure to find it
Nice; they’ll order in for u
No se los recomiendo, es mejor comprar en online
Late or Cello repairs, They had my Cello for 2 days to reset the bridge (takes 15 mins) I had to pick it up and do it my self.
Be a good place for a music shop that sales and buy instruments but they can’t do anything but sale with out the manager so if u need to sale something don’t go here
11. Lisenby’s Music Shop

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on a large variety a musical instruments, repair and care of all types of instruments, lessons and products to further your enjoyment and participation in the art of music!
Lance is the coolest guy I’ve ever dealt with in music gear. Very knowledgeable, very fair, and super hospitable. Done business here for several years and will continue to do so. Most amazing shop around by far!
Lance and Tracy are nice folks. They have a good selection of strings and accessories. Neat place for obscure instruments.
12. Tweed Music Company
Address: 698 A Commerce Ct, Prattville, AL 36066 , Greene County , Alabama , United States
Matt is the man and still the only tech I let touch my guitars. We moved away but Tweed is one of the places I make a point to stop in at every time I’m back in town.
Just had a complete set up done on my Gibson ES-335 Government Model and it is perfect. Great job and friendly atmosphere. Best in town.
Super friendly, laid back atmosphere, but he definitely knows guitars. Expert, professional, and approachable; unlike the big chain places that make you feel like an outsider.
Bought a Takamine in the Montgomery BBM store 1995, and recently had some fret work. It plays like new.
Thanks Clay, for the great customer service, and putting me on a guitar to suit my playing needs
I needed 2 wireless mics for our church’s old PA system. They are so helpful! They want to make sure that what you purchase from them will work! Nothing like good customer service!
Great music store, lots of selections across a broad range of musical products and brands. AND, it’s a local company. I support local.
Good service. Knowledgeable staff. Wish there was one closer to us!
Usually get good service, but I took my guitar nut to be repaired after my guitar took a spill. I let them know the guitar had fallen and hoped they would fix. The nut was replaced poorly but the guitar had a buzz. Took it back 2 more times. The last visit, the person in charge of the repair (2 weeks later)said I had heavy fingers and raised the stings to a height that made the guitar unplayable. I took to another repair shop and they repaired the nut replaced by Bailey Brothers found a couple of uneven frets repaired the frets adjusted the neck and had to re-setup the guitar from the disaster repair at Bailey Brothers. If in need of repairs I will never return to this store.
Great customer service. Great selection. However, I was NOT thrilled to see their logo custom printed onto the snare head I bought. Would have received 5 stars if not for that. Going to remove it with some acetone.
manager and owner very racist!
Dishonest, and disrespectful. While I’m aware they have an “all sales final” on used gear policy, it is their responsibility to properly inspect the gear they take in and not sell something that is damaged internally (in my case, a guitar amp). Idiot salesman also had a smug grin on his face the whole time my brother and I were having to deal with it (all 5-6 hours) and was making snooty comments back and forth. In a nut shell they sold me a dead amp and then laughed in my face about it. If this is how your business treats customers, don’t expect to be a business for long. I attempted a purchase with Bailey Brothers about 8 years ago. Was not a pleasant experience. This one wasn’t either. Rest assured, that’s it. I will not be back.
Update: Hey the owner called me just to prove they really do not care about customers. Tried to minimize what happened, and basically acted exactly like Keith did. Also a robotic “I apologize but we’re not going to do anything to fix it” does not count as rectifying anything. Gee wonder why the Southside store closed! Oh yeah and if you have a bad experience with them and they don’t own up to it they’ll do like any typical teenager does and tries to badmouth you on Facebook, then stalk your page. Very mature. Screenshots are great though aren’t they?
PS: Oh and buddy, if I were mad and desperate to pay my rent, then why in the heck did I buy a $700 amp from you? Nice try.
Don’t answer the phone
16. Hart Sound Studio
Address: 650 Co Hwy 35, Gallion, AL 36742 , Greene County , Alabama , United States
I could talk to Bob Tedrow all day. And he would listen! Better yet, I get even more enjoyment listening to him. Jason Burns is a master crasftman, and treats every customer and every guitar with individual attention.
Cool store.
Bought a violin here at a great price, sounds great and it’s beautifully set up. Bob is the man, very knowledgeable and personable. Best music shop in town.
Good product, Good service.
Friendly atmosphere and lots of instruments.
I’ve never dealt with someone so rude over the phone. The owner tried to guilt me with sarcasm and acted like victim when I questioned a price. Full story: I asked to order a cello string. All was going well (owner answered questions about speed of shipping and availability of the string), but then he quoted a price ($81) that was far above what other shops charge. I said respectfully that “I’ve purchased the string for $45 at other walk-in shops” and he became sarcastic and argumentative with me, claiming he was “holding my hand” through the process, and said “Well, I have to pay $35 for this string so what do YOU think is fair for ME to make? $15? What is 35 + 15, huh? Ohhh, maybe $50 is more than you can afford?” A simple, “well this is my price” would have been fine as a response from him, but I felt disrespected so I hung up and decided I’m never going to spend a dime Homewood Musical Instrument Co. I advise everyone else to steer clear of this shop and the guy who owns it.
