Chandler is an excellent instructor. He can play the bass and guitar amazingly well.
Prompt and good prices
Helpful- saved the day by having a ukulele!
This new store sells guitar strings and other music supplies. However, their main attraction is the high end vintage guitars.
Update: Lorenzo Formato aka Larry said he would get tracking info going or issue a refund he was severely sick with Covid.
Took our guitar for repair, dropped it off and the owner never even took our name. Knew we traveled from out of town and said it would be done by 2pm for a restring, we dropped it off at 1015am. Had to call for personel because the business was not open despite posted hours online and on FB. Got there at 1:30 and it wasn’t done. Opted to leave it on site return to pick it up seeing we wasted hours around town allowing time for completion and it still wasnt finished. Returned today and they didn’t know who we were, what the guitar was, what the case was. No notes for the people “watching the store while the owner was away” and the watchers were extremely rude considering the owner never requested our information at drop off. They were ready to send us on our way without the guitar because we ‘didn’t call first for pickup’ even though it should have been completed a week ago. Gave us no charge for the inconvenience. I would have rathered to pay for my service and to have it be handled correctly.1 star. Do not recommend.
Two weeks for simple re-string of classical guitar, 14$ strings cost 60$ to get installed with no other service performed. Sloppy restring and didn’t even clean fretboard. Disappointed is an understatement! Would have expected something more for 80$. This establishment is no friend to the musician and overcharges perhaps to make up for lost return customers. Anyway be advised that you can definitely get better service elsewhere.
I saw a Les Paul I was interested in. I explained to the man that my wife and I were in town from Japan and in the military. He thanked me for our service, then said he would give me a special deal on said Les Paul, and 2900 and this was the lowest he could go. Even after a brief negotiation and cash. I had a bad feeling that this was a shady sales tactic, so I walked away. As soon as I was in my truck I found his listing on Reverb and it was 2800 dollars, which means it was not only 100 dollars cheaper, but, if sold on reverb he would made 2500 dollars due to their 9.4% service fees for selling on their platform. Shade business practice to veterans of two different wars mean he will do it to anyone. Would avoid, if possible.

Wally is one of the knowledgeable and friendliest men I have ever met
Did a fabulous job repairing the top and bridge on my wife’s B25 Gibson. Contacted Gibson who quoted 3 times what he charged just as a minimum! I couldn’t find anyone else in the area that would try this repair.
Good service
Tried to check the place out. The sign said it was open from 10:00 – 5:00. Showed up at 3:10. The doors are locked and no sign of activity.
Just went there and the experience was negative. Folks weren’t all that friendly and I think ol’ ex-cop long-haired Uncle Tom has become too much of a celebrity to be friendly anymore. Probably was a nicer place in the past.
Rude.
Wally needs a personality transplant. Perhaps it was just a bad day.
Unfortunately this was my second visit with the same experience.
I will not be going back.
If you’re looking for FUN with a capital F, look no further! The Sassy Lassie Ukulele Retreat is no doubt a memorable experience. Diana and Carole know how to have fun, but they also know their music! As a beginner of the uke myself, they provide a welcoming and non-judgmental environment. The all-inclusive, all-women retreat is the sisterhood getaway you never knew you needed. After one Sassy Lassie, you’ll be craving more! Highly recommend.
