I like GSNM and it clearly does what it says, but as others have said the tight fit can wear loose after a few weeks or so. However, Don contacted me and he was correct, I needed the medium vs. the large for my F-hole Tele and my Manson Merlin. The new medium GSNM fits a lot snugger and all is now well.
So, not only is GSNM a great product, but Don stands 100% behind his product and the company. You have to love that,
Absolutely love my gsnm!!
Use on my Fender Strat, Tele and my Squire Mini!!
I play from a stool and have ditched the straps! Comfortable, easy on, easy off, affordable and I love it!!
Thanks GSNM
Jerry
I have used Guitar Slip No More on my Fender Jazzmaster and Taylor T5. A great answer to a aggravating problem.
No real regrets on the purchase. They *do* keep the guitar from slipping. But over time that nice tight fit you see in the videos degrades and as soon as you pick up the guitar it falls off. So you can’t really leave it on the guitar, you have to fit it on each time you play. Not sure if it’s the summer heat or just natural stretching, but it does take a little bit of the luster off. Still, it certainly makes it easier to play sitting so I’m just going to knock a point off.

Bob Reeves brass has some of the most caring and talented brass and mouthpiece technicians in the business. I play better today because of Bob’s innovations in trumpet technology.
Mouthpieces are fantastic.
Custom adjustments to the mouthpiece as sleeve were perfect.
Horn more open and easier to play after the valve alignment.
Bob Reeves and the guys at his shop are absolutely the best. They are incredibly knowledgable and are more than happy to pass that knowledge down. I’ve been working with Brett and John for some time to get a full set of mouthpieces that works perfectly and they have been amazing. They have helped me find and develop mouthpieces for all of my horns and are more than happy to modify them as my playing grows or my needs change. They also explain each step along the way and why each iteration/ adjustment is important. If you aren’t doing custom work their huge selection of “stock” mouthpieces let’s you choose almost like getting your eyes checked. “What’s better A or B?” And move through their line as you find a better fit for you and your horn. I highly recommend a visit just be sure to bring your horn! They will make sure you not only know what you are getting but why you are getting it. If you get a chance to work with Bob he is incredible and has fantastic stories about the players he has worked with and the technology he has invented.
when I requested for a consultation I was given the choice of zoom skype or phone only to told that you don’t do zoom and couldn’t do skype or phone because the guy who held the phone with these facilities was on vacation he took the phone with him. What??? Guys you are Bob Reeves, internationally known brass technicians with a unique service that is sought after by brass player amateur and professional. How is it you only have one device to communicate with your clients? Please correct that.
I was very much looking forward to visiting Bob’s shop since he’s been in business for a number of years. Unfortunately, our experience was very negative and cut short by Bob. He REALLY pushes you to get a valve alignment. It got to a point where he wouldn’t let us try mouthpieces (which is what we came to do) without getting an appointment for a trumpet valve alignment. While I’m sure the valve alignment can be very beneficial, it is not what we came for, and especially not to be talked into paying at least another $200. But even after requesting to try mouthpieces after saying we didn’t want a valve alignment, Bob would not let us. Sorry, that’s not how you do business. Very, very disappointed and a waste of time.
