My local coffee shop in the Russian River! Great beans!
Lovely place to get a coffee in the morning. It wasn’t too busy when I got in and the staff was friendly, even though I was probably a little out of it when I ordered. I got the mocha latte and everything bagel. Both were delicious and was well priced.
There was a nice sitting area outside and the atmosphere helped set the mood for the day.

Tonys Hot Pastrami Sandwich that was cold, 12.00, Basic Bagel with Cream Cheese, with barely any cream cheese on it for 5.50, an 8 oz Macchiato basically half 1/2 a paper cup full, 3.75. and apparently a 6.00 20oz Gatorade. Add 15% tip. Total. $31 and some change. Not really worth it ….
Don’t get the bagels. They weren’t toasted at all and tasted like they bought them at Safeway.

Dax and smitty not only have a beautiful store filled with interesting finds – they are also so cool to chat with! The inside is full of retro curated art, clothes, Knick knacks, custom painted furniture in vibrant colors, and antiques and they also have a gorgeous outdoor plant/nursery area. I almost always come home with something – a retro coat rack, a groovy telephone bank, unusual and lovely plants, a cool piece of jewelry. The prices are already reasonable, but often when they see you admiring something (me, a bracket, my 2 year old, a funky telephone) they say – “Oh you should have that! What’s the price on it?” and then discount their own price. 🙂 Charming and fun. A guerneville gem!
We have been stopping by here for the past several years and are always pleasantly surprised at the unique items, collectible fine art, and one of a kind pieces. This is an amazing place and we LOVE the owners, who lovingly curate such wonderful pieces. We are heartbroken thinking they may have suffered damages and loss during the recent floods. We hope Dax and his partner are safe and can not say enough kind words for this special Gem! We always leave with a special new treasure and our home is more beautiful for the pieces we have gotten there. My Most recent purchases consisted of a rod iron hand made candlelabra that now hangs over my dining room. Everyone who sees it is blown away and amazed that I found it tucked away in a magical store in the mountains of the Russian River in Guerneville. Not only do they have great taste in their furniture and art work, they also give great tips on music. We can’t wait to return and plan on bringing home something special to mark our next visit! Thanks guys! We think you are doing it all right!!!

It’s a wonderful store with pretty much everything you need. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Always willing to go the extra mile to help you find items or give you advice for your project. Shout out to Emerson, Sergio and John K, for always being so helpful!

A little bit of a lot, like a careful condensing of Home Depot, only you can find fairly knowledgeable assistance w/o setting traps (which they sell). The dude manning the propane, and propane accessories, really seems to know his stuff– I’ll be shopping here when it’s time to go camping

In Aug. 2021 I was in this store twice…Both times the women behind counter was very rude to myself and grandson. My grandson has a disability and again , she was nothing but rude to us…I walked out the 2nd time without purchasing .

People’s Music use to be better, but it’s still a fine local music store for grabbing some supplies or renting a school instrument. It has the charm and “treasure hunt” qualities of a small-town music store, you can find a cheap guitar for a beginner or a full-on vintage Gibson SG, so it’s always worth a stop by.
Nasty and uncaring owners; Get music somewhere else! pointed out a safety hazard in the store, where someone could easily trip, fall and be injured. I suggested yellow tape. The owners got mad and told me to “leave my store!” Avoid these nasty owners.
Feels like they’re going out of business.

This little thrift store has saved me so many times by carrying stuff like power adapters, miscellaneous kitchenware and the like. The owner, Andrea, and her business partner Erica are so nice, what’s not to love? The prices are extremely fair as well.
Best little local thrift shop!
They actively collect items for the local homeless folks (currently need blankets, socks, men’s pants) and work with the emergency winter homeless shelter. Fantastic people!
It’s my favorite place to take stuff when I need to make room and de-clutter in my own house.
And I find great stuff too… Big selection of CDs and kids stuff, but things turn over fast, so don’t plan to “come back later” for something.

Nice selection of instruments, especially guitars. I put some instruments on consignment and the results exceeded my expectations.
The healdsburg location is not really an instrument shop, they directed me to cloverdale if I was interested in retail and when I asked about information on lessons they really didnt seem at all interested in helping me with any kind of information. Wont be going back. The 4 and 5 star reviews on here are all over a year old.

I got to see, meet and even shake the hand of one of my heroes, Ramblin Jack Elliot. Fantastic old theater, small and intimate with great sound. Great atmosphere and good people. Truly a night to remember.

Nightclubs are not designed to be seen in the light of day. This is no exception. So many built in light fixtures (for safety, like at stairs) are busted that there are extension cords strung and stretched everywhere. I worry about some of the safety issues, but the biggest bummer was buying tickets with door and show times, then getting to the theatre and finding out it will start an hour late. Then the show finally starts an hour or so after that. It’s an amazing space with tremendous history and tons of potential. I wish them well.
