I know in previous times it was hard to staff and often could find it closed but that has changed and it’s definitely been opened consistently now. We shop often and find good deals. I’m happy we have one in Gypsum !!!
Exelente trato y hay muy buenas cosas
Da gusto ir a lugares asi
Are you open TODAY august 4th /2022….thank you
NEVER OPEN WAH WAH WAH
How about updating your closed times so your not wasting people’s time? Also, how do you know if there is a limited amount of people on Wednesday if your closed on Wednesday. Does something more important than thrift store shopping happen in Gypsum? Seriously…
Not open during business hours. Looks like there are days worth of donations piled up outside the door. It’s Saturday and they have no one in store to even open the door? We knocked and everything. Seems like a common issue from the other reviews. Please post your actual business hours!

This company has the opportunity to have an amazing store yet it’s barely friendly and the prices are ridiculous. You have an amazing one of a kind location and an opportunity to serve your community But you choose to be like the rest of the bottom feeders. Become real humans and have a real company that serves your community without ripping them off blind. Almost the entire store is run by children Who don’t want to be there at all

W H A T ?? I can’t hear you !! Lol. Yeah it sounds good . ha ha .
Hay todo tipo de instrumentos a precios razonables
I may have never purchased anything from this store, but they have a kickass mural of a gorilla playing a Flying V on the side of the building and it rules. The gorilla is probably playing “Cemetery Gates” by Pantera at full blast.
Customer service is absolutely awful. The rudest staff I have ever had to deal with. They are so pompous and rude I am sad I gave them my money. If you aren’t knowledgeable about music DONT GO HERE, the staff is terrible to customers who don’t know music. I would recommend taking your business elsewhere or just shopping online. Not one member of the staff is nice and helpful, worst musical experience ever!
Some nice people working at this store, but unfortunately the guitar tech with the beard is so rude, egotistical, mean, and basically the opposite of customer service, that I would not be able to make any major purchases from this store. I certainly would not let them lay hands on any of my instruments. Fine if you want some strings or picks, but if you ask for a serious recommendation, you will likely be insulted rather than given any useful help. Unfortunately for the owner, guitar techs at any level are hard to fine. If you don’t like your job bro, quit and get a new job, it’s nobody’s fault except your own. Music is a social hobby, so maybe it’s just not for you.
I took my guitar in to sell on consignment. I was told I would be called when it sold. After 2 weeks I called to see if it sold. I was then told it had sold the week before but I never was called by the owner. When I went in to get my portion of the money, the owner was very standoffish and if he had been a bit more approachable I would have told him how he never called me to tell me it sold. Luckily I won’t have any reason to go back there for any reason!

always a pleasure..you find so many hidden jems at Costco! what other store can you buy clothes furniture and food and get your car serviced…its a one stop shop . stores clean and maintains great covid precautions
Great place to shop. Great prices and quality. Pleasantly surprised that they now sell liquor in the main part of the store.
Great staff
Very long lines ,they need to have more cashier’s
Great store, gas prices not the cheapest.
Poor customer service.
Megan in the front end refused to ring out my transaction. She claimed my card was expired and that I had to pay $129 to get a replacement… even though the membership itself is only about $80 and was just renewed on January. Won’t ever shop here again, she was rude and useless when it came to helping the customer. Terrible customer service l, wouldn’t recommend at all.
Bought new tires about 8 months ago I have called to set up appointments for them to have them fixed. Went in waited 4 service. one of them have a leak since the day it was put on the truck and I am still sitting here dealing with it and has not been fixed.
7. Steve’s Guitars
Address: 19 N 4th St, Carbondale, CO 81623 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
Reached in regards to assistance in finding a band for a company holiday party, Ralph was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about music in the area
Great venue on the western slope!
Steve’s Guitars is a National treasure. Check out all the live streams at grassrootstv.org
Intimate venue blanketed in an eclectic collection of guitars. Great for solo or small acts to play in, especially warm acoustics.
Intimate, beautiful guitar display. Fun nice place to get to know musicians upclose. Byob.
It’s ok
This place chronically doesn’t pay their musicians who play there. 50% cut of door sales?? No response when folks try to collect their earnings?? Support local music – not this place.
8. Eagle Valley Music & Comics
Address: 211 Main St, Minturn, CO 81645 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
I walked into this little comic shop and I was definitely excited to see the number of comic books they had available. The guy who handles the comics there asked what I was looking for and I told him. At which point he went to the back to browse through his piles and piles of books to find what I had told him I was in search of. After locating some of the books I wanted/needed, he proceeded to pull up eBay for the current prices that the books were being sold for. Needless to say, my excitement quickly subsided. IF I WANTED TO SHOP ON EBAY, I’D DO IT FROM THE COMFORT OF MY OWN HOME! The guy who handles the comics clearly doesn’t realize the point of going into a LCS; which is to find those HTF/Rare/Unique hidden gems. Anybody can pay top dollar for those books, they simply need to do exactly what he did…go online! Now if the “Jonah Hill in 40 Year Old Virgin” moment wasn’t bad enough, I decided to ask about some modern issues that I needed and would be willing to pay cover for. After looking through about 1 and a half stacks of books (maybe 100 or so comics), the guy says to me “oh, those are in storage”…..for every book I bring up after. Storage being that back room and according to him, 500k books upstairs. I don’t doubt he has that many up there, seeing as how he’s asking top dollar for every book and it’s apparently too much effort to go into the back room or upstairs to locate what the customer is asking for. I was prepared to look through his collection and spend an absurd amount of money when I walked in there, but in the end, I paid him $20 for about 5 cover price moderns. My guess is the 4.9 stars this place currently has must be based on the vinyl part of the store (which did look impressive), but as far as the comic book section goes, stay home, sit in your favorite recliner, kick your feet up, crack a beer, pull up eBay and shop to your hearts content. It sure as hell beats driving to Minturn, CO for what I experienced. You ever even heard of Minturn!? Yeah, me neither, and I’m from Colorado!
Not very customer friendly
I asked about certain comics and was basically denied because they were “too expensive “
And was referred to the “affordable “ box
He kept bragging about the amount of comics he had stocked in the back and wouldn’t even let me and my brother look at them
The store was extremely cluttered and unorganized.
I would not recommend shopping here what so ever

Address: 150 Cooley Mesa Rd #F, Gypsum, CO 81637 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
Bought a beautiful acoustic from this beautiful spot earlier this week. Jonathan was the best, and made the selection, purchasing, and shipping experience a breeze!
Guitars, Supro Amps, and Pigtronix Pedals… what else could you need? And you can take one home for less than a night out on the town! And Garland can play some fine blues!!
Excellent customer service and beautiful guitars. I will be coming back for sure! Only guitar store I’ve ever been to that had so many left-handed choices!
Beautiful guitars! Walking into the store, you see the beautiful guitars and equipment out and ready to play. The staff here was nice and welcoming. Sadly, I’ve bought too many guitars in my life and couldn’t get another for the guitar’s sake. If, in the future, I ever want to buy another (for some reason), this is probably going to be the first place I look. Overall, I absolutely recommend these guitars for their good prices and amazing craftsmanship.
8/10
Great find- been playing guitars for decades and happened to stumble across this store.
Very impressed with the guitars and the showroom.
The store manager was very helpful and explained the brand in detail to my friend who accompanied me. He was knowledgeable, friendly and NOT pushy.
Def felt comfortable inside the store with their couches. Place was well appointed and very clean and tidy!
The guitars seemed well built and had great action and time.
Def considering this brand when I’m ready to increase the guitar herd.
12. Affordable Music
Address: 104 Village Pl, Dillon, CO 80435 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
Excellent music selection! I recently bought a record player and this place has so many albums. I will frequently stop here to fill my collection.
Limited selection, average prices
Great store, lots of music, plenty of stringed instruments.
I’ve heard good things about it but I was upstairs at pug Ryan’s bar
A shambles. Nothing affordable. Maybe okay for guitars, but not music. Looks like a yard sale gone bad. Used vinyl is poor quality, C- vinyl and covers disorganized and twice the price of Denver. Boxes of unsorted records strewn about. New stuff is full list price. Not worth the effort of stopping. Waste of time
Owner is a racist. He harassed my friend for shopping while black , four times AFTER he bought a CD. We went outside and had to show the police his recite.
Great place to shop if you are worried someone is impersonating you. Don’t shop there if you are black, he might call the cops.
Terrible customer service. Was out of town for a wedding – asked about return policy and he went on a rant about him being a small business and how he would only give store credit. He was very condescending and unprofessional
13. Harrelson Music Inc
Address: 1900 Railroad Ave F, Rifle, CO 81650 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
Steve was sooo very patient, kind and a great techie today as he succeeded in connecting my 34 string harp to my therapeutic vibroacoustic mat via bluetooth.
I’ve known and played music with Dave previously and haven’t seen him in a very long time, when I went to his shop this past weekend we conversed and caught up on the events of our lives over the past few years and it was just like old times, and he just happened to have a great little Bass that he made me a great deal on, thanks Dave and I hope everyone comes to see you for their music needs
Address 100 West 16th Street, Rifle, CO. Good people
Great people makes great places
14. Gypsum Creek Golf Course
Address: 530 Cotton Ranch Dr x350, Gypsum, CO 81637 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
My aunt and I went here for lunch on a Wednesday. Got there at 11. Perfect timing before the lunch crowd began. Great food and service.
Great hospitality
I dont think this course gets the publicity that other recieve on the I-70 corridor. The history of the course is mind blowing and its a public Pete Dye signature. Tips dont play to long, but accuracy is cruicial. Greens were in fantastic shape and rolled true. True hidden gem especially for the price. The 19th hole also has excellent food with a great patio overlooking #9 green. Must play for any golf geek.
Fast friendly service
Love this place!!!
We were out on the western slope for a bachelor party and the course was very accommodating of tee times and helpful. The range was nice enough and the course was in great condition. The first nine is extremely tough but after the turn it gets more manageable. I will say that the marshal on duty that day turned out to be a real jackass, and he was in the wrong. He even apologized to us a few holes later after realizing his mistake. Overall, a nice little hidden away course.
Customer Service is terrible. We had two riders that weren’t playing, one being my 9 month pregnant wife, staff wouldn’t allow us a 3rd cart. They told us that she would have to ride with a group 2 tee times back and we would be in trouble if we “congregated” at any point on the course. When we went for the refund they said they wouldn’t refund the golf balls we just bought because they didn’t know if we tampered with the balls. Even though we never let the pro shop. They proceeded to ask us if we would ever come back. Absolutely not, go spend your money at Eagle Ranch.
Edit: Unfortunately this is not a forum for debating. This is a forum for customer reviews. What I said still stands true for a review of your business and how you treated my friends and myself, when we tried to give your business money.
Ok
Golf course is beautiful and we would have loved to play it a second time on our annual trip out west from our home in the Midwest, but golf pro/director of golf, Blake Scott was adamant about a policy that really put us in a bind. His defense of “this is our policy” was his only defense. He did not even offer an apology or acknowledgment of the incredible inconvenience. We will not come back and we will be sure to tell friends who travel in the area to avoid this course. It’s sad because we’ve played this course many times in the past 20 years and come to the area every summer. You’ve lost a very loyal customer with a now sour opinion of your course and I love to share my opinions with others!
15. Redbox
Address: 112 Fairgrounds Rd, Eagle, CO 81631 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
Great place to start the morning. We stopped to get some coffee and food before our trek back to California and we were very happy with both.
Really cool local spot with delicious coffee
good coffee, friendly people
Nice place to grab a coffee and go
Solid coffee shop
I’m a long time local. I have enjoyed your coffee and atmosphere since your opening. The last 3 visits have been completely out of sorts. Order was delayed, after being skipped over, and our order forgotten on the 2nd trip. Understandable maybe the first time. But after the third occurrence of waiting over 10-15mins for our order and seeing the customers behind us receiving their orders. Very tough to be understanding with no more than 3 customers in the store. Also the tipping structure. 20% after paying with a debit or credit card needs after these last three orders of a 4 dollar tip I was hoping for better service
I don’t normally go here and today realized why… every other coffee shop in town only charges a dollar for a coffee refill. Yeti’s charges $2.61 and the coffee isn’t even that good. Unfortunate because the atmosphere is good here, just expensive mediocre coffee though.
It’s closed for remodeling!
17. Tu Casa Mexican Restaurant
Address: 106 Oak Ridge Dr, Gypsum, CO 81637 , Gypsum , Colorado , United States
We were very happy with our first visit to Tu Casa. My husband is pretty particular when it comes to his mexican and he loved this place. We will definitely be back.
Absolutely fabulous. We had the mojarra frita rellena de mariscos. A whole fried tilapia stuffed with shrimp, mussels and other stuff. Terrific!
Tu Casa is a hidden gem. An amazing restaurant hidden in plain site. The wait staff is helpful and energetic, the kitchen staff are professional and clean. The food is on point every night. Two thumbs up. P.s. margaritas are bueno.
Never know what in gonna get but the foods always good.
Great food. Eat outside if noise bothers you. The best place to buy authentic, fantastic tortillas to take home by the dozen. Always warm welcome.
Tasty food and good service. They specialize in sea food. My only complaint is they get really busy and it’s hard to get a table.
Very Poor service!!!! So disappointed for the 3rd time!!!
No recommendations, they need more people for sure!
Horrible service! It’s like we weren’t even there.
To disappointed didn’t stay after sat down. It was not clean, a time when it is critical because of the virus.
