Atmosphere (5): for a small business very clean and cool boating theme. Friendly people
Service (5): friendly server, kept the cup filled, quick service. Prices were fair.
Food (4.5): steak was cooked nicely, seasoning was tasty, potato salad tasted homemade, peas tasted like canned peas didn’t like them.
Food was a little cold
Another honest review:
Little hole restaurant, food was fast, service was great.
I had the veggie omelette and the only thing I wish they had done was sprinkle shredded cheese instead of a slice of cheese. It would’ve been perfect. Coffee was a little weak.
If you like honest reviews here’s one for ya!!!
Guess what!!!! I came back 1 year 1 day from my first visit and guess what…. It’s still good. Wait staff is great, food is fresh.
I’ll be coming back probably in one more year and a day!!!
Last year:
The thing that makes this place stand out was the Waitress was sweeter that peach cobbler!
Now the important question would I return…..
Definitely!
Try it out y’all.

Restaurant is in desperate need of an extra cook, took 40 minutes to get our food.
Restaurant is clean and staff is friendly.
We waiting 45 mins and asked how much longer for our food, we was told they have no idea
Horrible service didn’t even make it to the food part took our order and didn’t start making the food til 45 mins later and this was at one o clock prime lunch time finally gave up and left couldn’t even find a server to tell why we were leaving
Waited 30 minutes for an undercooked omelet while there were only about 3 tables occupied. The gravy was watery and flavorless. The waitress was fantastic though!
Features: Hand sanitizer at the door.

It’s better then the elementary school I have had a pretty alright experience so far
The teachers are great besides Coach Chad Wade but otherwise it is a all around great school
Good
THIS SCHOOL IS SUPER RACIST LOOK UP EMMA JOHNS AT HOMECOMING IN BLACK FACE AT A SCHOOL RALLY! This deplorable school allowed it to take place on thier grounds WITH FACULTY THERE!
Lousy excuse of a school this county spent 3.5 million dollars on chromebooks when they could’ve renovated buildings instead, the second floor on a building is creaking. You can randomly find cockroaches and ants in the classrooms.

Fantastic grass airstrip. Friendly people. Great place to experience nostalgic general aviation!
Not many Public use grass strips around. Hilliard is a great grass strip with the best fuel prices around.
Nice little turf runway in Northeast Florida. Self-service fuel 100 octane low lead 24/7. Pilot control edge lighting on unicorn frequency. Crew car available, bathroom snack bar 24/7. One of those places you just never know what you’ll see. All kinds of experimental and general aviation aircraft base there. All kinds of transient aircraft from time to time. This is a public airport owned and operated by the town of Hilliard. Cheap gas most of the time.
A great great luthier. Always bring my guitars to him
Great craftsmanship and knowledge as well as experience.
After coming across Chellee Guitars about 4.5 years ago, Peter has been the only guy I go to for guitar repairs. His patience, attention to detail and quality of work is simply exceptional, and I have never been discontented with his work. His skills and abilities as a luthier is reflected in his repair work. Peter has performed a variety of work such basic repair work like setups, nut/ saddle replacements on my guitars, and even built a custom neck replacement for my Godin.
I highly recommend Peter to anyone looking for a luthier/ repairman that is approachable and exceptional in his work.

Great customer service by Marc sugarman. Brought in a guitar for repair and tune up. Pointed out in great detail and pictures the problem problem. Ended up buying a new one at a great price and he waived the charge for taking my old one apart. Very friendly!
Excellant customer service. Clerks very helpful.
So I went in to start my journey in making music and Rebecca was a huge help! She showed me the equipment along with some wisdom on how to get started. The genuine care and knowledge was great and I recommend stopping by and see for yourself! Also, shout out to Jazel for being a cool guy!
They are exceptionally nice!
They would not return some unopened items we purchased while trying out an instrument. I had to return for a manager and push to get some of the items returned. All I wanted was credit toward a different instrument and even that was a challenge. Make sure you want to keep what your buying.
They sell flutes, do flute repairs, offer flute lessons but their selection of flute music is very limited.
Signed up for first time lessons a few weeks ago. When I showed up for my first lesson, the instructor was out of town. No one seemed to think it was important to notify me. Got a refund for the lesson, fine. Show up for my lesson the next week but they were double booked. Obviously there are communication issues at this location. If you’re going to sign up for lessons then I recommend verifying your appointment via the phone each time.
The guys here are great, the issue is the company itself. I rented a guitar years ago for my daughter, no issues, the bill came out automatically and i returned when classes were over.
Then my next daughter rented the flute for school. I find out a year later that not a single payment has been withdrawn, I own the flute, and I owe $1200 for it. I have a bunch of kids and bills when I set up automatic payments, I expect that the payments are going through unless I get some sort of notification or call telling me otherwise, even just one call.. The card on file is fine, nobody can provide me a reason why I’ve never been charged. The only call i receive is harassing debt collectors two days ago.
I was not allowed to shop at this store because I didn’t have a mask. I really feel discriminated against. All I wanted was some guitar picks. That would have taken like five minutes. I guess I am going to find another music store that will not discriminate against me just because I’m not wearing a mask.
10. Brand O’ Guitar Company
Address: 1920 Dolgner Pl, Sanford, FL 32771 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
Great family company that supports non profit organizations! Professional and quick turn around.
I wish that I could give this company 100 stars. Lisa & Gino are the best of the best & they go above and beyond on every order. I have ordered over 20 branded guitars for various projects and every time I am thrilled with the customer service, design, and finished product. We have been giving these guitars to the founders of companies that we invest in, and the recipients absolutely love them. Can’t recommend enough!!!
We’ve requested several guitars from Brand O’ Guitar Company over the past few years. They’ve always been fantastic to work with. They provide excellent service and are very good communicators. Plus, their products are so fun! They’ve even gone above and beyond to help ship guitars across the country for our tradeshows, making sure they get there on time. Keep on ROCKIN’, Brand O’!
Got some guitar strings

Address: 4043 Mariner Blvd, Spring Hill, FL 34609 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
I usually don’t leave reviews, but this place has absolutely wonderful customer service.
I stopped in as I had some questions about lessons. The employees were friendly, helpful, and willing to assist me. The store was well maintained and seemed to have a decent inventory. I will definitely be returning.
Great store. Small but has everything.
First time there just buying strings
For my guitar little on the pricey side
my store of choice for instruments and supplies, good deals on equipment
Employees were friendly and knowledgeable
Called about picking up some guitar strings said they had them. Told them im sending my dad right now he said great……Oh but they closed within 10 mins..Just more trash liars…FOff
12. Rising Star Music

Staff is knowledgeable and helpful, large product selection new and used
Awesome store. Prices are very reasonable and the staff are always ready with advice and help. Their guitar selection is huge!
Everything I needed and good service.
Cool place, wish that they had a little better pricing and selection. Still worth checking out.
We knowledge staff
Nice people
Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.
Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.
Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).
Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.
Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though
This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.
15. Onstage Music
Address: 8123 Ridge Rd, Port Richey, FL 34668 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
It’s a small mom-and-pop type place, but the staff is very friendly, professional, and outgoing. They are very knowledgeable and chatty and the place is just fun to hang out in after you’ve made a purchase. They also do some consignments, and are very good about it. There are also lessons for various instruments available at reasonable rates. Can’t recommend them highly enough.
Great personal service very knowledgeable and professional would recommend Highly to all musicians, amateurs, and anyone interested in music
The previous owner Bill treated his customers like family until he sold his shop to a bunch of crooks, I needed the new owner Kenny to put new strings on my guitar and he could not even do that right because my strings broke one after the other and when I asked him to restring the guitar he ordered that I’d have to pay him for the strings again and re-installation and when I asked for a refund he said “Absolutely not, because this would’ve never happened with any of my other customers” I asked “why are you doing this?” And he replied “what are you going to do about it?”
16. Strum Hollow Music
Address: 363 Hartwood Ave, Spring Hill, FL 34606 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
Javier is an outstanding teacher with a boat load of patience for an older student like me. Also, I purchased an acoustic guitar there and the price was right and service exceptional. Highly recommend this business.
I am thrilled with this store. I visited a big retail store looking for some audio cables and they had no selection nor great knowledge of the product. They told me to buy the product online.
I stopped by Wickham Road Music and immediately was helped and the employee found exactly what I needed.
I came back the next day because I needed a few more and the owner informed me he would be placing an order soon!
So happy. Great small business.
Nice place. A lil on the pricey side. They have good, knowledgable sales people. My complaint deals with their service. Maybe it was just my luck, but I brought in an item to get serviced and was told I would get a call when it was done cuz it had to be sent out. I did not get a call. Later..2 days after I was told it would be done.. I went to pick it up. It was finished, but due to me being in a hurry, i didnt fully check out the item before I left the store. I got home and found some problems with what was supposed to be fixed. I was able to fix most of the issues myself.. I’d consider going elsewhere if you need something like a guitar setup done..
Four stars because the owner rectified this issue and as far as i know, subsequent customers did not have this problem anymore. Props to you for actually caring!
One star because piano instructor Suzanne is knowledgeable and good instructor overall, so she gets the star. Issue is the owner seems to have an issue in his vocabulary or he is very dishonest. He recently started forcing students to pay a “deposit” equivalent to 2 classes. His excuse, “if you dont show up to class, we use the deposit to pay for the instructor’s time;” however, the classes are PRE-PAID which means, that the class is already paid for. When i argued this with him, he said, “well, we actually use that deposit for two extra classes when you choose to quit.” Well, i already chose to quit, so first of all, why would i want two more classes? an entire month is always PRE-PAID too, so no need for “deposit” since classes have been PAID IN ADVANCE. When i signed up, i told them, i was using 4 classes my mother gifted me. They made her leave a 2 class deposit; even though, again, she had PRE-PAID for the four classes. I told them i was only there for the 4 classes. So when i went to my last class, the owner said, “I dont give back deposits, worse case i could give you store credit.” Hmmm… DEPOSIT??? a deposit is something that is given back subject to terms. In apartment, if nothing is broken at end of lease, deposit is given back, in a car rental if the car is not damaged, etc. He is forcing people to prepay every month, AND prepay two classes that they have to take when they no longer want to take classes. Completely dishonest, misleading and rude.
Has some good stuff, but not a great selection. Very cheap or very expensive not much middle
Had been looking at a particular guitar for some time and finally purchased the guitar. Once home, I changed the strings (Elixir) and then played the guitar. I noticed barre cording was particularly difficult as the neck was out of proportion to the width (of my other guitars). I took the guitar back the next day and was immediately informed they do not refund on returns, but do give a store credit. I was blown away (as it was the very next day I returned the instrument…with new strings on it). They pointed to the small sign near the register (No Returns, Store Credit) and the small print at the bottom of the invoice. So, I looked around for another guitar. On the rack they had a new Guild which was around the same price (a bit more) and I decided I’d take it and pay the dif. When I was checking out, my girlfriend noticed a crack in the side of the guitar near the guitar strap button. When I pointed out the crack, the entire staff looked like a ‘deer in the headlights’, that they got caught with their hand in the cookie jar; they all knew about the crack but were going to sell me the guitar without telling me (had I not pointed it out). Can’t trust these guys at all. I did use the store credit and took the original guitar, maybe one day replacing or repairing the neck. Again, BEWARE, NO REFUNDS!
Not impressed with their hours of operation….went there to buy a cable and they were closed at 11:00 am on a Monday… WHAAT!???…..Marion music was open so went there instead.
Went in to spend $2000 on a guitar. They were blasting crappy music so loudly that I couldn’t hear myself. Also, there was a hippy sitting indian style in the floor eating–right in the way, completely oblivuous to the fact that she was blocking off the walkway in front of all the guitars. I turned around and left, and won’t be coming back.
18. Sweet As Cyn Coffee House & Donuts
Address: 542432, US-1, Callahan, FL 32011 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
Loved the staff ! Going to this shop is out of the way for me but I would make that trip anyday. Food , staff , service and atmosphere was great !
We found Sweet as Cyn on our route and the 4.9 rating and great coffee prices brought us in. They 100% deserve a 5 star rating for smooth coffee and delicious cookies. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality!
My first time here with my grands..we loved it..smoothies…fraps…pop cakes were delicious
Great. Just 1 complaint I have and not sure if this is normal. I ordered the southwest burrito and it was very small. Very disappointing for almost $7 to get a half of a burrito size where it’s 1 egg. It tasted great but for the size definitely not wory $7. The Croissants egg sandwich was bigger for just $4
I have small/average size hands. Not very long fingers and it is smaller than my hand.
Delicious French Dip sammie! Coffee was delicious, service was a little slow, but the quality of food/coffee and the atmosphere really make it worth your while to stop in.
Really nice chicken salad in bowls or cups. Also offer croissant but I don’t care for them . . Donuts went to the house, let’s just say none were thrown out!!
I follow the Facebook page and was looking forward to my first time visiting. I walk in and nobody greets me. It wasn’t slammed busy or anything . The food and store looked very nice and cozy. A couple with 4 kids allowed me to go in front of them since I was alone. That was the only interaction of kindness I’ve experienced there. I go up to the counter and tell them it’s my first time here with a smile. After 2 minutes of silence an employee explains to me what is there and what they serve. Unfortunately he wasn’t the one who helped me. I look quickly at the food display in courtesy of the people behind me . I go up to the register and told her I would like to have a sour cream doughnut . She quickly and rudely asked me how many doughnuts total I wanted. I said I’m not sure yet but I told her I would like just the ones I say. She says again how many do i want and I have to tell her . It is my first time and nobody relayed that to her . I didn’t know you had to have everything aligned when you get to check out . I only got 3 doughnuts. I pay and say thank you and she didn’t say a thing back to me . I then say thank you and have a good one to the guy boxing my doughnuts . Not a word from him either . The only person that acknowledged me was the store owner. I live in Hilliard and our doughnut shop employees have ALWAYS been nice . I’m sorry to leave a bad review but I will not be coming back.
After reading all the wonderful reviews, we decided to stop by and pick up a treat one afternoon. The staff was not the most welcoming upon entering and the cupcakes were incredibly dry. They did not taste the slightest bit fresh and both the pretzel and the Oreo on top of the cupcakes were stale. Very disappointing
First time, great experience. Second time, pretty bad! I stood in line and waited, ordered $16 worth of drinks, donuts, and food, only to be told the Apple Pay isn’t working (no sign up stating this and the first time I was there I used Apple Pay). The employees offer no other options other than “sorry it’s either cash or a physical card” (again no sign up) and as I’m walking out I see a sign for the “new app”. I ask if I can order and pay on the app, and they say yes! (This wasn’t offered as an option to me, I had to discover this option myself). I download the app and ask how to order the drink of the day (“sorry you can’t”) ok can I at least get the flavor on the sign? Lol then I ask how to order food (“sorry, you can’t”) haha basically 20 mins of wasted time for no coffee, donuts, or food and little to no apology from the employees. From out of town and travel through once or twice a week, I’ll be trying somewhere else for my morning coffee unfortunately.
19. Wholesale Music Instruments
Address: 3000 W New Haven Ave, West Melbourne, FL 32904 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
Great place to shop for musical instruments. Fair prices and knowledgeable staff. Gene and Kevin make you feel at home.
Owner and wife very personable and love music, helped me buy new strings for son’s guitars and some accessories. Will be back again!
Always have what I need and I’m thankful of it.
Knowledgeable
Live music? Wow
Came looking for a case for an odd-sized guitar, found a live sit-in jam session, how delightful.
Owners were friendly and knowledgeable. My case was out of stock, he was happy to order more in. All in all, a great little shop.
Gene and…Kevin? are cool guys. I get a bit of a push-to-sell vibe from Gene, but that’s no surprise. Got to make money to eat and grow the business. Wish they had a proper luthier in-store and maybe a sound test room, but lot of good selection for merchandise.
Don’t ever try to trade with them you won’t be happy!
Prices are ridiculous.
$40 for a drum head that is less than $30.
Drumsticks were $20 when others sold them for $12.
I went in today to purchase some bass strings. They only had one brand to select from called Hi-Beams. He also stated that “bass strings now are ranging anywhere from $40-$70”. This is absolutely absurd. I’ll go on Amazon and purchase Ernie Balls for $17.
I actually came back to this place to give them a second chance, and still had a terrible experience. Taking a look at the Google responses from the owner too, it looks like he can’t take criticism to improve his business. I’ll continue shopping at Wickham Road Music and on Amazon. Thanks anyways.
20. Guitar Haven
Address: 1873 S Patrick Dr, Indian Harbour Beach, FL 32937 , Hilliard , Florida , United States
Great place to go for your stringed instrument needs. Howie is the man when it comes to setting up instruments, and can get whatever you’d need or want if it’s not in the shop. I’d highly recommend coming here to anyone I meet.
Classic guitar shop. They have the things. Always try to support the independents. ROCK AND ROLL!
Best guitar work
Howe spent tons of time with us to ensure my son found the perfect guitar and amp. He put together a bundle of guitar, amp, and a Vamp…if you are looking to get an instrument, go to this place! Years of experience to help you is priceless.
t
Good time talkin’ shop with the owner(s)!
Tiny little place, not much to see unless you’re looking for overpriced foreign knockoffs
i called and asked about a guitar hook and the guy on the phone didnt even know what it was i had to explain to him what it was and i asked about a tuner for a special guitar and he said that it was the same tuning just an octave apart and that octave in the type of guitar has to be precise im not going to call or go there for my guitar needs.
did an ok job setting up my strat. Not a fabulous job but not a bad job.
I am not that pleased with their general attitude they always try to pass off the cheaper products to me. I would rather go to a music store that tries to educate me rather than one that tries to benefit from any stupidity I may have.
