Gio is a really great engineer. He is always on time, he will provide critical input, and he will go the extra mile to make sure you are happy with your work. Its clear that he cares about the finished product and will do his best ! I will continue coming here as long as i can!!!

Absolutely love going here! Marvin is very friendly to me and accommodating when I’m looking for something specific! His tobacco n vape products are very reasonable and I think cheaper then most in California! If you get a chance to do business here you won’t be disappointed!

**BEWARE** under new ownership, used to be a great place. But just now they charged me 54.99 for an electronic cigarette that everyone else in town has for 19.99.
They would not give me a price over the phone, you have to personally drive there and figure it out for yourself.
Hurts me to write this review, as we had been long time customers here a few years ago, but since the original people left, the ill-mannered, lazy employees sitting behind and below the counter, out of the customer’s field of vision (all 5 of them, so I’m assuming most of them were just friends of the actual employee), just look annoyed that they have to interrupt their conversation to actually do their job. I’d suggest going somewhere else….

Awesome place! I was having issues with my Violin and they helped be in less than 2 minutes. Will be back anytime I need something that is instrument related!
I came for microphones on sale. I didn’t find what I was looking for (which was a cheap microphone maybe in the long run it will be a good thing I didn’t find one) the attendant working there was very helpful. He walked me through the different choices and what would be right for me. I left leaving with a blue snowball microphone so let’s hope it turns out good.

How come I need to buy something to test it out but like I am starting to introduce myself to playing an instrument when I don’t even know what I am going to buy . Mad krunky .
At first i thought this place was great. I even recommended this place to some of my peers for their rent-to-own program. My girlfriend wanted to learn violin, so she rented a violin from here. The rent to own program automatically adds an extra fee for insurance per month, apparently its not optional, but hey if something were to happen, at least we’d be covered right? WRONG. After just a few months her violin bow broke. It would no longer tighten the bow hair and the knob literally came off. Well, i assumed since we had insurance we could swap it out and that would be the end of that. Well, apparently its not covered under the insurance because its considered “wear and tear”. I don’t know what kind of cheap violin bows they have, but this is not “wear-and-tear.” We came back on a different day, when the manager was available, but he told us the same thing. She ended up buying a new one, but we will no longer be coming here and will definitely warn anyone who wants to purchase anything from here and especially to watch out for the rent-to-own program
My friend came to this place a few days ago and he told me that this place was unorganized and the employees were being lazy and were in their devices . Also they refused to let him try an instrument that he wanted which was a violin but they didn’t let him test it out without purchasing

Love this store Their Customer Service is Great! Im almost a daily shopper and always see new things ! Only one minor complaint is that it is a small Goodwill (space wise ) so the toy section is above the racks of clothes and book and videos/music are in a cramped section as well

Such a gem at Imperial Beach! Drinks and food are delicious. Had a line out the door so you know it’s good if the locals are coming here.

Great food, great folks, perfect location. I eat here almost every morning. Katy is fantastic and plays good music. It’s a must if you’re in the area.
Cute local place. Staff was friendly. The breakfast sandwiches are HUGE. I couldn’t believe a croissant could hold that much. Coffee was a bit harsh for my taste. It was fun to hear the old timers conversations.
My croissant breakfast sandwich was okay but it had this weird fake tasting avocado spread. I expected fresh avocado because it didn’t say avocado spread or anything on the menu. This weird stuff really ruined the whole thing. Next time I’ll get it without the gross green stuff
Katy’s Cafe is a short walk from the main entrance to Imperial beach. Probably the only places thats opens early (6am).
Service is quick, coffee is good and the place has a nice ambience.
Been here multiple times, and each time it tastes even more like microwaved breakfast food. Their “avocado spread” is just those guacamole snack packs that make everything taste like lime. I don’t know why I keep going back here. IB needs better breakfast places.
Calmed to have wifi, but wifi did not work. When brought up to staff, no one knew what to do. Waste of time and money.

This is just the cutest place! I love the vintage vibes, nostalgic sweets, and eclectic decor. Prices are quite reasonable too. The party room is a gem; take note of the copper penny counter at the bar. Kudos to the manager, Katie, for her bubbly personality and warm welcome. Check out Seaside Candy…it’s a real treat!

Nostalgic candy shop with classic scoop bags, taffy, candy buttons, fudge made on site, and ice cream. Outdoor seating as well as a party room. Nice place for kids and adults.

My husband is a Welder. He doesn’t know English. He started his business a year ago. He did some doors for Angela Frank she is the owner of seaside candy on Imperial Beach. My husband installed the doors and the day he was going to finish Install the ceiling skylight panel she changed her mind and said she wanted it bigger. Mrs.Frank told my husband she will give him another payment since the doors were done. My husband had confidence in her the next day he called her to see if he can go install the panel and also get a payment at this point she blocked his number and she does not pick up when we text her or call her. I know God sees everything I just want this lady to pay my husband for the hard work he did for the doors. It is not fair that he doesn’t know English and she took advantage of that. She told him she was going to deport him. My husband is not here illegally. Just cause my husband doesn’t know English does not make him undocumented. If you guys please pray for me this is causing me a lot of stress. I can’t believe Mrs.Frank will treat a human this way if she knows he’s starting his business and she as a business owner herself. GOD HAS EVERYTHING IN HIS HANDS. I WOULDN’T LIKE TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE IN THIS SITUATION. STILL AWAY FROM THEM
We walked in at 645 and the place was empty. The person working the counter was very quick to tell us that she closes at 7 in a voice that was obviously not happy. She seemed annoyed that we wanted to spend money when she only had 15 minutes remaining on her shift. We ordered three single scoop comes, and headed for the door. As we were leaving, a family with a few excited small children walked in and got the same treatment. The ice cream was fine and the prices were fair, but we definitely did not feel welcome doing business.
Drove all the way down from north county for fudge. Get here and the place is closed way before the hours posted on Google and what I was told in person. No hours posted on the window or door. Was excited about Rasberry Fudge too.

This place has awesome ice cream and I really like there coffee. Its a small place, with a lot of character.
Good but arrive 10 minutes before closing time as they close early.
Service was fast but the ice cream was just ok. It just didn’t have the right consistency compared to other ice cream places. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to complain about ice cream. But it just wasn’t what I expected.

Our family has here before and it has been nice enough to continue coming back.. went there this evening with our kids. Just got back from the mile walk… Walked the half mile and got there 25 minutes before the closing time indicated online.. well, they closed early..
I asked the employee that was standing at the door if they’d honor their closing time stated online considering our four year old just walked a half mile to come to their shop… he couldn’t have cared any less.. said “nope, we’re closed, we don’t go by online hours, we go by what our manager tells us”… fantastic customer service if you want to be treated poorly..
Many other customers showed up as we were… WHY WOULDN’T YOU HONOR THE TIMES THAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE ABLE TO SEE????
Response to reply from owner: Maybe you should consider putting that in your online hours for those who don’t know your hours by heart. Also, your responses are lacking any type of appreciation for your customers. You clearly have no care for customer experiences gone wrong. Again, poor treatment from your business fulfilled.
The coffee is just plain nasty. And the service, oh my gosh the service stinks!

So I am coming back to edit this review and my tattoo has faded in spots (my number 1 and some of the leaves in the tree) and the line work could have been better.

Great place for Ink….new Artist Sierra is very very good. Crow is very very good too. And the owner Mike Martin is fantastic.
Called and asked if they take walk in’s. Sierra said come in, I can tattoo you. So I came over, she asked me what I wanted. Then all of a sudden she has a family emergency? She asks me all these questions about the tat and puts it on her drawing pad. Then decided to not do it? I asked can anyone else help me? Nah… go to another shop. Oh! I did! Won’t be back to FSG! I wish Mike was still around…
Of course this review is for Sierra. Got a bone frog done almost a year ago. I tell her that I don’t live in California anymore, so if I get a FREE touch up done it’ll be when I’m in town again on short notice. Of course she said, “Hey yeah no problem just call!” Well I gave her almost a week notice and she tells me she’s booked up for the next TWO months because her business is picking up. No let me try and squeeze you in or anything. We are talking a touch up on a basic tattoo, nothing that would take more than 30 mins. She says she needs more heads up, but if you’re already “booked” two months how much heads up do you want? I felt slighted because I knew Mike since 2002 and lived across the street from that shop and this is how old standing customers get treated?? Ok you have bookings, but you take care of your loyal customers and “friends” of Mike! You don’t put some guy who wants a on his ankle before them. THAT is part of the culture of being a tattoo artist
Terrible experience waited for four hours with only 3 people ahead of me to get work done at a flash sale. Ended up walking out

I had a fantastic experience with every encounter. I brought my guitar in for repair, tuning and restringing. The customer service was thoughtful and educational. I truly felt their passion for what they were doing and their knowledge of my instrument. I had a tight schedule and they not only met my needs, they prioritized it. Thank you!
I’ve been coming here for years. I will usually purchase small items; strings, tuners, harmonicas, etc. I did purchase an acoustic guitar for my niece. I had her play different brands before settling on a Fender. She loves her acoustic. The salesman was courteous and knowledgeable. He was also patient. It’s a small little shop with backrooms where they give lessons. My only gripe and reason for three stars is that they need more quality instruments… made in the USA.
Bob and inductors know what they’re doing, are friendly and have s large selection of guitars. My 7 yr old is really enjoying and learning playing the guitar.
Average mom n’ pop shop. Don’t touch anything, cheaper guitars all around the store, decent guitars all at list price, behind the counter, no negotiating or discounts. If I were making a major purchase, I’d still hit up a chain store because you often get 10% off just for walking in. Meh.
Sucks they are closed Sundays. Can’t get anything done cause of that.

My cousin and I recently went to the location near Southwestern College because I have been having problems with a ukulele that I had recently bought. When we asked for help, the sales associate (who worked there Monday-Friday) was very unprofessional, rude and had a very sarcastic tone when talking to us. He was all about keeping the business of the store and in no way was being professional with the customers that were seeking help. We will not be going here again. 🙂

I had the most amazing experience at the bar thanks to the hot red-headed bartender (I think her name was Abby or something)! Not only did she mix the most fantastic drinks with flair and skill, but their friendly and charismatic personality made the whole evening a delight. Definitely going to make this my hometown bar!!
I love this bar. I’ve been coming here since I’ve been old enough to drink and it’s just gotten better and better. A chill environment with awesome live music on the weekends, karaoke, and great drink specials. Can’t recommend this place enough.
Fabian is an incredible Bartender! Takes care of every customer with ease and a smile that heals the soul. I’ll be back again!

Nasty,dirty,misfit crowd. Staff was partying more then customers. Staff allows customers to get extremely intoxicated, will not cut anyone off. Multiple drunken fights occurred in front of the bar. No police were called. Female stuff was rude, using inappropriate language. .
