I’ve bought a few boards from them and the selection is pretty tight. But I tried to trade a BRAND NEW board in today that retails at $1300 for a Channel Islands short board and they low balled the crap out of me. I understand that everyone is trying to make a buck. But I was just a little blown away with the amount they where willing to dish out for a trade. I will not return there which is a bummer because I used to really dig the shop and thought they wouldn’t do me dirty. Lost a life customer. Who knows how much money down the road that could mean, isn’t the retail game all about repeat business?

This place is a rip off. They follow you around and treat you like you’re up to no good. They try to up sell you stuff and add things to your fitting room, which I find to be outright rude. I had bought a necklace and earrings and was told that I’d then get a free bracelet as long as it was the same price as the necklace. The necklace was about $38, earrings $24. It wasn’t until I got home when it dawned on me that they charged me for both the necklace and bracelet… both of which were $38. In addition, I had a 20% off coupon that stated that surfboards were excluded… no mention of any other exclusions, yet I get to the register and I couldn’t use it on my purchase. Such a scam. I’ve never cared for the place and will definitely never go back. I would not recommend this store to anyone.

Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.
Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.
Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).
Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.
Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though
This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.

I had a freak accident with my trumpet and had to take it to the shop. A classmate of mine was kind enough to take it down to the horn section for repairs. It took a little bit over 4 weeks because I did not purchase the horn there. The staff was nice when I came and picked up my horn. They did an amazing job doing a basic repair on my horn. There is still some cosmetic damage, but overall, the horn plays well again. I recommend the Horn Section for their professionalism and high quality work. Thanks Horn Section!

Never open even though it’s normal business hours. Never returns phone calls. The men that work there are friendly, but the female is rude. Will over charge your credit card on random days. Then instead of refunding will harass you, even at work for more money.
You’d think when you’re paying $25 a month for a used plastic clarinet you’d at least get decent customer service. I was told that my clarinet, that had been damaged and sounded awful since the moment I opened it, was extremely damaged (obviously) and when she asked what I did to it I told her I had no idea as I’d barely played it and it was this way when I opened the case when I received it. She then told me “Think hard honey because all our instruments are shipped in perfect condition.” Clearly untrue. I will not be giving business to this company again. Very overpriced and rude.

As I’m reading through others reviews I see many people have had this same issue with the same woman I had an issue with. I hope the owner notices this and takes proper action.
We now purchase our supplies and music books online because of the rude older sales lady. Sad to see other reviews posted about her and she still works there.

I took my electric guitar in for a service check. It had been in storage for quite awhile – over a decade. Howie did an outstanding job! He checked everything out: pickups; pickup switch; pots; bridge; neck; frets and tuners. He also installed new strings, which I supplied. The guitar was brought back to life, thanks to Howie!
They added Electronics to an old acoustic guitar for me.
The sound that guitar makes now, it’s really impressive.
I couldn’t be happier.

i called and asked about a guitar hook and the guy on the phone didnt even know what it was i had to explain to him what it was and i asked about a tuner for a special guitar and he said that it was the same tuning just an octave apart and that octave in the type of guitar has to be precise im not going to call or go there for my guitar needs.

My new favorite coffee spot in Melbourne! Visited this past weekend and it was so good, I came back the next day! The Iced White Mocha was awesome (better than Starbucks by a long shot!) and we tried the special also (Marshmallow Latte) which was also really good. Don’t miss out on the pastries either, so good! I will definitely be back next time I’m in town!

We love exploring new Coffee places around town. This place is super cute offering a variety of drinks and pastries. The environment was great with friendly staff. The only down side is that they could be placing some music. Music will add an even better atmosphere to the store. They have two new types of drinks I haven’t heard of. Red-bull spritzers and Lotus. Strongly suggest to stop by if you are in town.
Coffee was great! Friendly service and clean, cute shop. Pasteries were good, but small selection when we were there. May have had more early morning. Will definitely be back.
Yikes. Coffee is a competitive game and unfortunately this new spot is going to struggle to keep up.
We ordered two “macchiatos” and a Latte. All of which were very milky, aka the milk was not foamed properly. I really don’t like to be critical, but if you are going to open a coffee shop and invest thousands of dollars, you MUST have a basic understanding of espresso drinks.
There are minimum two other coffee shops in town that will make you a better drink.
As a side note, most coffee shops are putting their beans front and center… this one does not. I have no clue where their coffee is sourced or when it was roasted. This may seem picky, but this is the COFFEE GAME.
I probably wouldn’t go back. They seem like nice people and the store is very clean, but the lack of understanding regarding being a barista or making “good” espresso drinks is kind of baffling.
No Masks from owners! Myself and many other friends who live in this area would not go to this establishment because of it! The least the owners of a small business could do is care a bit more about their possible future clients. Too bad, because after owning a small business for over 30 years, I try to shop local wherever possible. Not this time! Mask around food, most places are! This is no joke people! 3 people walked out while I was there because of this!

My experience at Djon’s Village Market was exquisite. We actually went there just to check the place out and maybe have a drink, but the waitress/ bartender Christian Hernandez was so knowledgeable about the food and drink menu, that we ended up staying for dinner and drinks. Their burgers and extensive drink menu are delicious and the service is outstanding. Christian knew exactly when to come and assist us with more drinks, without us having to even look up! The drinks she prepared for us were yummy! I will definitely go back to try the rest of their food, as I’m sure I will be very pleased. We needed a place like this in the area with experienced servers and bartenders!

We sat upstairs for lunch….it is was 93degrees out…but even though it was hot and humid..there was a breeze. We had the Greek salad that consists of mainly chopped cukes.. tomato…red and green peppers..a small square of feta…no lettuce…. I wasn’t impressed… service was great!
Don’t do it. Ok for drinks. Waited 1 hour and 20 minutes for lunch. Food never came. Left. Never going back.
Went in for lunch today — only 2 tables were full and staff was everywhere. I was told to sit anywhere by someone who immediately turned her back on me and started chatting with co-workers. After being ignored for 10 minutes I wandered out and asked if there was table service or am I supposed to order at the counter, or what? Mgr (?) pointed at someone who was rolling up silverware and chatting and said “She’ll be right with you”. Nah, I’ll go somewhere else.
Management sucks. Don’t bother coming in.

So we have been looking over a year, searching the whole state of FL. for a deal. When all was said and done the best deal was right in our backyard: Melbourne. We got an incredible deal on a new baby grand! This was the best price I could find after searching internet sites and visiting piano dealers. Frank, the owner is a great guy and was very honest, he didn’t try to up- sell us something we didn’t want. He gave us options and negotiated a more than fair price. The inventory had all the options from pre-owned to a new concert hall grand. I would highly recommend you see Frank before you strike a deal with anyone in the area. No one could touch him !! So many beautiful instruments set up to perfection. He has a true passion for this work and it’s clear he aims to share that joy with his costumers. I am thrilled with my purchase and feel so confident in it’s value. Finding a match in a fine instrument can be so tedious…Allen made it truly enjoyable. Highly recommend.

I bought a viola from this company, ended up being too big for my daughter. Took it back they have a no refund policy and don’t let them fool you about the trade in policy. It was traded in for a viola that wasn’t even close to the original one I bought. The bridge on this viola broke within two months. They just traded it out again on another one and this
one doesn’t even have a quality sound to it. They are a horrible run
company. They could care less if their customers are happy with their

I bought and rented quite a few instruments from Atlantic Strings over many years for my kids, even a piano way back when it also sold pianos. I happened to need something for myself today and was very disappointed. I asked if I could buy a bass bag, but return it the next day if it didnt work out. They said no and made me feel embarrassed and stupid for asking. Now I will buy the same case for 30 dollars cheaper on Amazon and never buy anything from Atlantic strings again. Way to lose a longtime customer!

I am a new customer of Wholesale, but was very impressed by the owner and staff as well as their excellent pricing. The music equipment business is extremely difficult at the local level due to the online big-box stores, but after my experience there, I will bring all of my music-related business to these folks whenever possible.
I was shopping for an amp that can play acoustic and electric and they recommended the Boss Katana. I went home and did my research and they were “spot-on” with their sales pitch and features as well as matched all online store pricing! You cannot ask for more IMHO.
Great selection and professional advice. Family owned and operated and they are always willing to discount your purchase.

Came looking for a case for an odd-sized guitar, found a live sit-in jam session, how delightful.
Owners were friendly and knowledgeable. My case was out of stock, he was happy to order more in. All in all, a great little shop.

Gene and…Kevin? are cool guys. I get a bit of a push-to-sell vibe from Gene, but that’s no surprise. Got to make money to eat and grow the business. Wish they had a proper luthier in-store and maybe a sound test room, but lot of good selection for merchandise.
Edit: I waited politely outside the door to enter this establishment after eating breakfast a few doors down. The owner told me if I wanted to go play with guitars I should go to guitar center in Orlando. So I went and chose between 6 guitars and landed on purchasing a beautiful Martin and Co., even came with electric pickups! Paid 600 out the door and it even came with a nice bag. Lesson being, if people want to come play your instruments. Doesn’t always mean they won’t be purchasing one! Thanks to the owner for the recommendation to the BETTER guitar store around.

My first few visits to this store were great. Gene is very knowledgeable and eager to make you a happy customer. On my last visit however it was a different story. I went in to buy a couple sets of guitar strings and was blown away. I’m guessing it was Gene’s son working that day which was November 4th the day after the elections. He charged me $10 per set and I wanted two sets. When I asked why such a big price increase his answer was because the minimum wage law was passed. I think the most I’ve ever paid was around $8. There’s nothing wholesale about this place with prices like that. I went online and bought three sets of the same strings for $13. I understand that small businesses are hurting and try to buy local when I can but that’s price gouging right there. They just lost me for a customer and I’ll tell my musician friends about this.
Wondered in owner ask if the kids wanted to do a drum circle, they were hesitant but decided to give it a try, ended up being the highlight of our trip! Thank you.

I could literally write a book about all of the wonderful ways music therapy has changed our lives.
It has given my non-verbal son a way to communicate (which is beyond huge) and it has helped my daughter grow beyond recognition.
The therapists are the most caring, knowledgeable and all around, absolutely incredible people.

My son is autistic and sometimes it’s difficult for him to express his feelings or needs. Music therapy with Rose has been a Godsend! J is happier and more expressive. He looks forward to every weeks session and then runs straight to his keyboard or guitar at home to play the music he’s learned or is working on. Rose looks up the music he’s interested in and teaches him to play it! Sometimes they just “free” play music and it’s amazing!
I am constantly recommending Florida Music Therapy to others and will continue!

Took Brian a week to get back to me with 1 sentence that said they were too busy to repair my piano. Happy to look for service elsewhere!

Today he was also the second time they said they would call me back and didn’t. They’re close enough that I can walk to their store but they don’t seem to respect me so I don’t feel like shopping there.

The food is PHENOMENAL. It is family owned and operated, so it creates a GREAT ambiance. Friendly, welcoming and incredible service. I keep going back because I cannot get enough!! And, if you’re lucky, he might even play a few songs for you on his guitar!!!!
With patience you will have a great experience. Food is all made in restraunt, even the baked goods. I enjoy to sit and relax at this restraunt. Also highly recommend the imported beer.

Ate here for the first time today. Crepes REALLY good! The family staff very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and inviting. Restaurant definitely had a homey, neighborhood cafe/bakery shop feel to it. I got two different desserts to take home. I hope they’re as good as the food, which I don’t doubt. Definitely would recommend to locals and visitors who want a taste of overseas.
This place is over priced and the food is not good . The kitchen is not professional kitchen I got better kitchen at home I work thier for two days never again. They don’t even have restaurant pos system the ower does every bill by hand and forgets what people order . And I think he cares about him playing music more then food and customer service and how clean his not commercial kitchen is and no ac ….. I would stay away worst restaurant I have ever worked at, and the ower did not even pay me for my hours . I would stay away I would try I different place .Who wants to pay 7 dollars for coffee and their over priced food and small portions I don’t even know how their still open ..

When we got there it was very crowded. That said it took 20mins for some one to come by and ask about drinks. Another 10 mins for a bad mocha and some water. When the owner eventually came by to take our order, he wouldn’t take it because we were waiting on two people to join us, even though we knew their orders. Now it’s been 50 mins and still no food. Once we got the “guest” situation worked out, we ordered. One would assume that the requirement to have everyone present to order, would mean the food would arrive at the same time, not so. We got elements of our order, and a some of our meals sporadically. Can’t say the food was worth the wait, at all. The owner asked me how our meal was, and when I told him we were disappointed, he argued with me and made excuses. Might have been a bad time for them, because I understand the pastries are good, the food not so much.
