Wonderful business! My kit sounds great and it was very very easy to put together. They were extremely helpful and quick to respond every time I had a question or concern. The kit came in perfect condition and they went above and beyond to ship it to Canada for me even though it wasn’t listed as an option on their site. I’d recommend them to anyone!

This is a store with music supplies. Some of their equipment works and some does not. If you are unlucky and the equipment you buy does not work, DO NOT expect any help whatsoever from the staff.
I had been a customer for years, bought guitars, amps, straps, strings and literature. However on two occasions when the equipment they had sold me was faulty, I was treated with disrespect and told to take a walk.

Had a guitar on layaway and tried to talk to the owner about getting my money back because of a financial situation i suddenly came upon. i had not taken the guitar out of the store at all, i put $75 down. Every other interaction I’ve had with other workers was enjoyable, but i talked to someone new (who was not the owner) who was rude and condescending, and told me i would absolutely not be getting my money back despite another worker saying i should try and contact the owner. Me and my friends have been patrons at this store before with no issue, but i would not recommend this store to anyone solely on this interaction, and I will make sure that those in the Indian river and broward county music scene know not to shop here. I am Genuinely upset with how I was treated.
I was going there for a quote and they told me that if it was going to charge me before they would repair it i didn’t say anything to them to charge me at all and they charged me a lot of money and they broke my instrument they dented it and I had to pay it so I will never go there ever again there customer service was so horrible

We asked these guys for information about renting a piano for our wedding. They told us that yes, they were able to get it for us and at a really good price. Then they stopped replying to our calls, emails, etc. finally weeks later they answered our call, they double the price and at the end they said it was not doable… we lost weeks by relying on their piss poor professionalism and lack of integrity. We finally talked to the owner after weeks, and guess what?? Same freaking treatment. I was just here about to spend a good deal of money for a necklace for my birthday and I have my 1 1/2 year old and I’m Eight months pregnant and of course have to pee, the woman in the back told me absolutely no and to go across the street which is 4 or 5 lanes of very busy, very dangerous highway.

Nice being forced around the store by the owner to look at things I wasn’t interested in, and when I thanked him on the way out, I got no answer. This is why I hate pawn shops.
These guys rock. Not only do they carry premium hardware like Callaham (the best Fender style bridges money can buy), but their customer service is completely awesome from the service desk to the owner. Accidentally ordered the wrong bridge sizing for my Telecaster build and George, the owner personally communicated with me, called Mr. Bill Callaham himself (his personal friend) to see if he would offer custom sized bridges in the future due to the common 2-1/8″ not currently offered. He then told me he would happily refund the bridge and apologized even though I was in fact the one who made the mistake.
That’s 11/10 customer service. That’s how it’s done.
I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to do business with them again and most likely will in the near future, not withstanding that I too am a fellow Floridian and love my Fenders.

George is quite literally my hero today! I have a Jazzmaster in the shop having the toggle switch replaced. Also, I have a gig on Friday, so time is of the essence. I get the call today that the soldering wasn’t sticking and the new part didn’t fit so we had to find a new one. And OF COURSE it just happens to be the most impossible part to find. Literally no where has it. I’m in Texas mind you, so I look up the correct switch and where to get it like as soon as humanly possible, and that’s when I found Tone Shapers and gave them a call. George answered and helped me find the right part, then asked in detail what was wrong and provided expertise on the matter. Since I know nothing about this stuff, I called the guy fixing my guitar and added him to the call and George was able to figure everything out so we did in fact have the right switch and informed him on why the other part wasn’t working. Idk man it was a just super incredible experience. George, your customer service is top tier!

Best used record store on the East Coast of the US. Saxon is old school music afficianado. I mean who has signed records by Chris Cornell and original Lollapalooza program. You have to check this place out. The vinyl selection is outrageous and he has hi tech turntables to go along. Wax Records is THE SHIZNIT…

This is one of the only places to get quality used blu-ray and dvd’s, I just wish they had MORE selection. Other than that it’s a great store. Really enjoyed the few blu-ray’s I have found there.
I got FKD the other week big time at this shop. I GAVE the owner easily over 2 thousand dollars worth of records and a handful were sealed to out of pressing imports etc and was offered 80$ cash or $110 store credit . Brutal. I was too much of a push over to just take my records & walk. I took the biggest loss of my life ever in regards to record trading/selling. I’ll never go back.

This record store sells A LOT of bootleg vinyls that are unmarked as such and full price. This is a ridiculous scam and would easily be missed to someone who is not a seasoned record collector.
A bootleg record is a made-at-home vinyl that is created by copying the music directly off the CD/MP3 release. This is gross and it’s absurd this store is in business.
Don’t believe me? Then I encourage you to do your own research on bootleg albums, go visit the store, and see for yourself.

Paul is a top flight luthier. Not just a tech. Guy knows every inch of the guitars he works on. Highly recommend him.
First off I want to comment on the man himself(Paul)he’s a really nice guy. I’ve been using Guitar ER services for around 3 months now(setups, new pickups, electronics, advice, etc……)I always get a perfect job that’s always done sooner than I was told. Paul is a professional thru and thru. He will ALWAYS get my guitars to work on. give him a try, you’ll be pleased with the results……….

Paul has an awesome, clean shop and does really great work. Brought my Gibson Grabber for a much-needed setup and he made it like new. Neck and frets are in great condition now. It’s the only place you should go for guitar setups and repairs.
Would never go back. First time he was very nice. After that, he seemed to not want you there and was rude at times. I had a new neck built for my guitar and I asked him before I had finish put on it if it would fit the body. He took some measurements and said absolutely. So 6 weeks later and $$ later the guitar comes back finished and he goes, this doesn’t fit the body. At that point there wasn’t much I could do other than let him make the pocket bigger, but I did not want the guitar body messed with to begin with…. So he makes the gap bigger and decided that it doesn’t matter if the neck goes in straight. So the neck is not in straight (aligned as supposed to with the bridge). This just makes the guitar harder to play. But that doesn’t matter to Paul because he could care less about that as long as he got paid.
Got a set up recently but it seems like they only changed the strings,polished the frets and never adjusted the bridge or neck…I should have checked it

From start to finish, Ocean Strings did a wonderful job!! Nicole was always super quick about responding to messages and when it came time to pick out music she had suggestions for alternatives when songs weren’t available and she knew exactly how to make the music flow. Having Ocean Strings perform for my ceremony was the best choice I could’ve made and they truly do wonderful at their job. If you need music for your wedding or similar events, I highly recommend them! They were so excited for the event and make you, the client, feel so special and important.
Nicole and the string quartet did a fantastic job at our wedding including with a number of custom pieces. We received a lot of compliments about the music and would recommend working with them
