A month ago I ordered a piano for my son in Spain. As the one they sent was lost (so I was told), they told me they had sent a second one and it would arrive 5 or 7 days later. 12 days have already passed! Now they don’t answer my messages and I’m afraid I just lost my money. I keep delaying this promise to my son. They don’t have any phone number for Spain, in their website, so I don’t know what to do. Am I supposed to call to this US store? 🙁

Found this place about 3 years ago and have practically been coming at least once a week sometimes up to 4 times a week. All the guys are very helpful and give great advice on how to approach and or fix any guitar problems I have ranging from soldering to fret work and even how to reglue a lifted bridge. Great team amazing guitars and equipment and 100% costumer service satisfactor . Thanks Fret House staff
For guitar players in the San Gabriel Valley, this place is a gem and more so with the closure of the Fretted Frog. While I’ve yet to go to one of their performance nights, I’ve had my electric guitars with trems setup here for years, purchased two Goodalls boutique acoustics, and had one Ovation with a cracked top repaired. I’m looking forward to my next visit.
Im lefty handed
very bad services! not honest
Dropped off guitar on 11/3 – estimated day of completion 11/6. So it’s been roughly three weeks since I dropped off my acoustic guitar for what they said would be a simple 1″ crack repair, that the majority of the repair would be from the inside and that the top would not need any work.
“We’re working on your guitar in between other guitar repairs, but we’re not going to charge you”. WTF man! What kind of business are they running?
Went to pick up my guitar last week. Sure enough, they jacked up my guitar in the process of trying to repair it. This sucks!! Why couldnt they have been honest from the beginning. They have offered to replace it with a same model and I accepted the offer.
Early December – waiting on guitar. The manager claims it wil take up to 8 weeks for Godin/S&P to ship one from Canada. 8 weeks?
January – I have yet to receive a call with an update on the ETA of my replacement.
February – Still no call back from the manager. This is complete BS. DO NOT TRUST!
Misposted hours of operation – it’s very disappointing

Allen Eden Bass Guitars” the staff and Todd are going to be huge, excellent service, who understand what a musician needs, so many of my friends have gotten one of your basses” I’ve toured the past 25yrs never could find a bass better than my geddy Lee till now”
Yeah, these guys are good. Real good. Got my first bass from them when I switched over to bass in my current band. Never looked back. Now with about 10 instruments from them, I think there’s no doubt that I prefer them than anything else. Every sale has been flawless and communication has been amazing. If you’re looking for guitars, basses, or even parts, look no further!
I absolutely LOVE my 3 Allen Eden basses. Dealing with them is quick and easy and the ATA cases are super nice…
Better bass and better case than their competitors for a great price.
I can’t wait to try the 6 string guitars too.
My Disciple 5 fretless sounds like a Gold record plugged straight into the board.
I took my Disciple vintage basses on two tours and they hold up great and stay in tune.
Definitely buying more.
I have had 3 Strat bodies and one P-Bass body that were good. I have had 1 P-Bass body, aTele body and a LP JR kit that were horrible. They don’t appear to look at what they ship. Off routes. Paint that flakes off are just a few of the problems I have had. It will take days for CS to respond it at all. Not buying anymore from these guys.
I purchased a custom bass body in Nov 2022 & it still hasn’t been sent. They have my money, won’t answer my attempts to contact them. This item was supposed to be done 6 months ago. May be the most horrid customer service I have ever experienced. Avoid custom orders at all costs, they are inept. They took my money and ran. No refunds. Reporting them to the BBB also.
I purchased a custom guitar body from them in August 2022. I find out after purchasing it’s going to take 7 months to fulfill since they need to send to China to build. Now it’s June 2023. They still have my $228 and I have nothing. They keep pushing back the date and never directly respond to me. I am at their mercy. This is the worst experience I’ve had. You buy something and then your at their mercy. They don’t care. I’ll never purchase from them again. They don’t care about their customers. Watch out for Eden Guitars. Be warned.
I was interested in buying a guitar from this company but I was not familiar with Eden Guitars, so I contacted customer service to try to get more information… and to familiarize myself with the company.
Long story short: The customer service was atrocious. I quickly went from being interested in buying to never considering this company again. Saying the customer service rep was unprofessional would be an understatement.
There is no doubt in my mind the quality of their products matches their most likely shoddy products. The level of service provided is a huge reflection on any company. Unfortunately, I now know not to purchase anything from Eden Guitars ever.
This really too bad because I was genuinely interested, and I almost purchased from them too. It is a good thing I waited. If I didn’t wait I am certain I would have been extremely disappointed.

As an adult learner taking guitar lessons, I really appreciate Max’s flexibility in giving lessons. We don’t just work through a book, I can bring in songs to work on arrangements, or we can work on performance techniques. Max as an immense knowledge on many different types of music on the guitar, and he is easy-going and great to get along with.
The best place anyone in Los Angeles could go for music lessons. I started music lessons at 8 years old with Tula, and have known Max and their musically amazing family going on 16 years. While I didn’t end up continuing my violin lessons for too long (I was a kid and didn’t like practicing at home) I have continued to admire and appreciate Max and Tula’s involvement in their community, as well as their dedication to teaching kids AND adults how to play the instruments they’ve dreamed of playing. I’ve always dreamed of returning to the violin, and the only person I could ever want to teach me had to be Tula. I’m happy to be chipping away at my favorite instrument again, and SO happy that Max Lee Music the place I get to learn from. Much love to this place and the incredible family behind it!!
I client friend Kela turned me on to a Monrovia park concert, which I loved to death, I think Heaven!! SO SO AMAZING!!!!

A gem of a hidden store. I just happened to find this music store hidden in the corner of this shopping center.
Small store with surprisingly a variety of instruments from acoustic guitars to trombones. They have digital pianos (check out the Yamaha, really nice sounding), string instruments, a few electronic drum sets. If they don’t have it they can order it for you as well. Instruments are nicely priced and they have a payment plan I saw on the entrance door
The manager was super cool and helpful. I found out that this place is actually owned by Guitar Center as I was informed. Definitely check this place out if your in the area !
I’ve gone there in the past for instrument repair (clarinet) and found them reasonably priced, and I’ve been pleased with their work. Today I brought my clarinet in for a very quick and easy repair – replacing one small bit of cork. Not only was it quick and easy, but he didn’t charge me! I knew it wouldn’t be expensive, but I did not expect free!
Always the best service!
Really good deal on my son’s instrument. The staff was helpful and polite. The instrument was also delivered to the store location within the time frame that was stated, everywhere else has been delayed.
This Glendora Ca. store was condensed with easy to view merchandise, polite staff. Some real bargains in written music. Fast easy shop.
Nice staff, very welcoming and helpful
I had a flute and a piccolo repaired here. They didn’t do a good job. My piccolo was given back to me with hot glue strands hanging off of it and a small wooden piece wedged into a pad. When I complained about the piccolo, they simply clipped of the glue strands and handed it back. It was clear that they would not be able to make it better. I had to take the instruments to another shop to have them rerepaired. I won’t be back.
About 5 years ago I brought a recorder in and asked for a thumb rest for it. Instead of ordering the $5 removable factory thumb rest which was made for that model, they installed an ill-fitting 3rd-party metal thumb rest with screws that are so long that they protrude inside the barrel, so that if the thumb rest were ever removed, it would leave holes in the barrel. Worse, they charged me $65 for this junky little metal piece and the 5 minutes of labor to install it. When I complained, they blew me off.
I will never go back there.
I see that they’ve been acquired by Music & Arts, which resulted in a name change, but it sounds like it’s still the same folks running the store, so my review will stand.
The customer service I received at this store was fine given the circumstances. The review is for my overall experience ordering from Music and Arts.
I ordered two items that, according to the order page, were supposed to be shipped to this store and ready for pick up within 2-7 days. One item was ready the next day, but it took 3 weeks for the rest of my order to arrive. When I went to pick my order up, the first item was present, but the second item was not in its packaging. I waited three weeks for an empty bag.
If I had known that it would have taken three weeks to be disappointed, I would have rather have taken five minutes to look in the mirror.

We have a 1/4 size violin and bow that were in pretty rough shape but had been in the family so mean a lot to us. The fixed them quickly for a fair price and were very responsive and helpful.
Professional service.
Lots of piano and violin collections in stock.
Lots of classical music books in stock.
Good price, and friendly finance plan is provided.
I needed an impromptu violin repair and Lulu was extremely kind and accommodating. After overtightening and snapping my A string I needed to get it fixed same-day so that my son could start his lessons on time, and even though the store had other repairs scheduled that day, she was able to fix it in less than an hour. Excellent service, very fair price, and total professionalism throughout. I highly recommend Lee’s Music for servicing your instrument. Thank you again Lulu!
Ms. Lee is a great piano teacher. She’s very patient with my two daughters.
As a music store, it is average. They have a variety of instruments, classical and contemporary. They have some parts and supplies. If you are looking for top quality or grade instruments, you should look elsewhere. However, where Lee’s Music shines is in other services. They have a pretty good selection of music books for students of a variety of instruments. They help coordinate and host a number of music instructors who provide lessons in the rooms behind the main building. And they are also able to help work out instrument repairs if needed.
Nice friendly store with so so selections
Rude! I went to buy a book for violin and they yelled at me and my sister because my sister just told her the total of money she was giving them. NEVER GO THERE!!!!!
My review is based mostly on my customer service experience. I went in and told the young lady behind the desk that I was looking to rent a cello for lessons. She asked what size and I told her I did not know, that this was all new to me but it would be for me (an adult). She then told me the cost. I asked if I could hear the different cellos. In reading up on renting a cello, one article recommended that you hear the cello so that you could judge by the sound which one you prefer. It also indicated that the cost and quality of the cello is often reflected in the sound. The young lady looked at me as if I was crazy and asked what I meant by could I hear them. I explained to her that I wanted to judge the sound of the different cellos and she told me that for student cellos there is just one. I then asked her if the rental came with the bow and rosin and if there was anything else I would need. She then told me the rental came with the bow but she didn’t know what else I needed because she didn’t play. Hmmm…. not really helpful I thought. So I again leaned on the information I had read up on and asked to purchase the rosin and a beginners book. The young lady went and got the cello and book. I then asked her if the instrument would be tuned or if that was extra. She looked a little surprised and then told me it would be tuned. Then she proceeded to turn the knobs on the cello and pick at the strings. I thought to myself, just two seconds ago you told me you don’t know anything about the cello, you don’t play and don’t know what i need to begin lessons but now I’m supposed to trust you are tuning the instrument? She then handed it back to me and said, “it’s tuned”. We filled out the paperwork and she ran my card. I repeatedly looked her in the face and smiled, first because it is polite, second because I am depending on her for assistance and third, I was hoping to evoke some professional courtesy from here. It didn’t work. She handed me my rental agreement and looked back down at what she was doing. There was no attempt to educate me or provide me with any helpful information in any way. Most specialty services will offer a little bit of advice or recommendations when assisting a first time shopper or novice in the field the service is being offered. Not here. Not the warmest or most customer friendly experience. Hopefully, my lessons (which will be taken elsewhere) will be more enjoyable.

Nice shop with friendly people. They usually have what I need.
I’ve now had multiple times where I’ve called or went in to this store. Every time I have had nothing but the best experience. Knowledgeable staff and a good attitude go a long way. I’ll feel keep frequenting them in the future.
Overal good
They kind of didn’t know what I meant when i wanted a MIDI cable to connect to my laptop but other than that they have good service
Great place with a lot for a small shop.
Stupid store they ask for to much just to rent a instrument I had to go twice after work and still walked out with no violin. Don’t waist your time in this store singing papers for nothing. I went to another music store by gale and Fullerton and walked out happy with my instrument in less than 10 min the store is called Sam ash 5 stars for Sam ash
