Cant say enough. Locally owned with the best service and internet sales in the bizz. Thanks!!!
Chris is a pleasure to work with. You will be hard pressed to find a more professional shop with great gear at good prices.
I came here because they are the closest Klipsch Heritage dealer to me from Chattanooga where I live. I had to come on a Saturday due to work schedule and I am glad I came. The owner met with me and allowed me to bring my own CDs so I could listen to music I was familiar with. I mostly came to hear Klipsch Fortes but since he also had a new pair or Klipschorns here he humored me allowed a lengthy listen to them as well. I ended up buying the Fortes as they sounded great there in his listening room. They are in my home theater system now along with a Rythmik Audio FV15HP ported sub. I power the Fortes with an Emotiva XPA amplifier and everything sounds great. Thanks Amp House

They are very fair and offer market value for precious metals.
Some good deals and some not that good. I have had some good finds but I have walked out without buying anything because it seemed a little high. They have always treated me well either way.
Need better nicer someone running the place
Great prices on guns! My favorite firearm dealer in the city! Their prices are often below msrp and have a wonderful selection would give 5 stars but the older man is very rude and disrespectful and only wants to talk politics!
I bought a set of earr9ings from them and paid $327 CASH for them, got in a tight and went to sell them back to JUNIOR BYRD , he said he never charged me that for them when I had the receipt… TOTAL RIP OFFS!!!!!! WAS VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH BEING TREATED THAT WAY BY A PERSON I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH FOR YEARS!!
Have been to Byrds on three separate occasions to look at guns for sale and was rude to each and every time. Third times the charm. Won’t be back
If I could give a negative star I would. I live far enough away from anywhere that I went ahead and called ahead of time before going in. Spoke with someone over the phone about selling some stuff, and before I could finish explaining what I had he snapped at me to bring the items in to look at. Repeating this every time I asked about an item, I finally assumed they would let me sell the items in store. I drove all the way to the shop and didnt make it ten feet into the store with my items before I was snapped at that they didnt accept anything I had to sell. The guy wouldn’t even let me explain that the man on the phone told me I could bring them in to be sold. So now I’m out of money and wasted gas to drive down there when I originally called to avoid this. Will not be going back.
quality guitars, groovy help , plenty of accessories and some of the best conversation around Madison County . thanks Mr Bill !!!!
Friendly service. Good workmanship. Had a tenor banjo and a violin set up there.
I’ve known the owner, Bill about 20 years. He’s a man of good Christian integrity , & knowledge of music and instruments. A really great place to do business.
Good selection of stringed equipment and some amp and pa equipment. Accessories (like strings) are very pricey.
Good place

Address: 314C Billy B Dyar Blvd, Boaz, AL 35957 , Jackson County , Alabama , United States
Had a marching competition and my daughter lost her ligature on her clarinet so we stopped by this music store and they had a universal ligature it was a very awesome product
I’ve know the owner Connie a long time good business. And a good woman
Over priced. Only good if you need to grab a pack of strings or something small last minute.
Great little music shop. A good place to look for a starter instrument or replace an existing one.
Has variety of instruments and types of music. Carrie is a bubbly personality there
this place is burnt!
Awful place with cheap brands and overpriced / broken used instruments.
The people are not friendly, the merchandise is overpriced, some equipment is not even new (and it is damaged) although they don’t disclose that information, and getting around in a wheelchair is next to impossible. The lady at the register didn’t know anything about the equipment. It is definitely worth the drive to go somewhere else.
I’ve heard about this shop for years and I’ve seen/played a few of Tommy’s guitars around Huntsville so I had to come check it out. Cool little shop with a few masterpieces on the wall to check out. Mostly Fender body styles, but man Tommy knows exactly what he’s doing and you can feel it from the first strum. Great place to go for repairs of all sorts, Tommy does great work.
I brought my guitar to Tommy to re string and put a set of new pegs on and my guitar sounds great thanks Tommy, I will be a regular customer from now on and I highly recommend you to friends, and thanks again
Tommy works miracles. His shop is the gold standard of customer care and quality service. My quality of gear and attention to excellence has drastically improved with Tommy’s help. His commitment to building quality instruments is a local treasure. Please do yourself a favor and visit his shop. You will leave a better musician.
Great place for all you musical needs
Mr Shepard doesn’t seem to understand how to correctly repair tuning stability issues.
He may want to consider the fact that a new customer doesn’t always mean new player. He insulted me when I told him ‘guitar will not stay in tune’ I’d like it repaired’ His response was “you mean it won’t stay in tune or you can’t get it in tune?” Wow.
Sir, I’ve been playing for 38 years. Im a seasoned player. I love music. And I would have loved to find a small shop to do business with instead of that behemoth Guitar Center. Speaking of GC, I only turned to them because this same Mr Shepard was rude to me on the phone last December when I was in the market for a new rig…I mean I’ve bought a Marshall amp, a full complement of pedals, And an American Standard Strat, a Gibson Les Paul. So maybe you should reconsider to whom you are rude in the future. I gave you a chance to earn my business and you blew it. Since last December, I’ve spent over $3000 at GC,and guys like you whine about GC all the time yet you don’t seem to understand why your own business is stuck off in the boondocks, or you constantly have to move around.
Just not the place to buy music
T Shepard’s is a great shop, and Tom is a terrific, skilled, and knowledgeable guy.
The straps and strings and accouterments are top-notch.
And the selection of guitars for sale is interesting, diverse, and attractive.
Don’t be in a hurry, though, if you drop your guitar off for repairs.
And don’t expect a phone call or email to let you know about delays well past the implied pick-up date.
This is Mayberry, Andy.
Not Mount Pilot.

Good wal mart from our experience always seem to have a little more in stock on the shelves than our hometown Wal Mart does.
Didn’t take any pictures. Walmart is always a pleasant experience!!!!!
Great
Walmart
Need more cashiers
Pretty good experience ! Staff is very friendly
I hate going to Walmart..
I came in with my husband and children, to get a few groceries and school supplies. I am a Caucasian female, and my spouse is a African American, which has not been a problem to us or anyone else. As soon as we walked threw the door, we was being profiled. I don’t know if you would consider that racist, but it sure enough was disrespectful. My daughter is only ten, and she wanted to know why the two men in khaki pants, and blue shirts was following us all over the store. I am a very hard working mother, whom has a four year college degree in nursing. So I’m sure, my intelligence is on a much higher level than half the employees who work there. No disrespect , but I would like to let the management know…as he is following my family, you was letting two-three theifs take what they want. Use your better management skills and use your head. Thank you for your time and have a blessed day.
Stocking shelves during peak shopping hours is stupid as hell!!
I love to go to this place for my daughter and my piano Class. Mrs Marina is really good professional.
This is a great place to have music lessons. I highly recommend it!
Wonderful. Great service, very friendly. Oscar is a fabulous cello, violin instructor.
Friendly staff. Minimal guitar accessories but I got what I needed (strings and a capo). Appears there store is more geared for violin, cello, upright bass, banjo players, etc.

You never know what all these guys do till you ask..
Friendly & knowledgeable
A lot of nice instruments and supplies there. Looks like a green screen to shoot videos too. Had to order what I needed online though
I want to come here but every time i come they’re closed
Folks here are nice enough but they don’t have consistent business hours. Also Instrument repair is not efficient and they make it much harder than it should be.
Dropped off one wedding tape to get converted and was told it’ll be done by Monday for my parents anniversary since last week. There wasn’t any updates it calls to us and we had to keep continuously calling each day and the one or two guys supposedly were out of town and then when he got back was out and never showed up back to the office to take care of it with no edits. Was told too the day to drop it off next door to give to them since the worker was wherever. It’s now Wednesday and still wasn’t even touched or looked at. The lady who worked there everyday was SUPER nice but won’t be doing services with them again.
People that run the place, running 2 different businesses in one office(hustling). Very little parking….

Danny is an incredible luthier with many years of experience and it shows. His eye for detail and choice of beautiful tonewoods and inlay/binding materials make for some stunning instruments. Not only do they look beautiful, but Danny’s many years (decades!) as an engineer at NASA help him fine tune every instrument to it’s full potential. His guitars produce a warm, rich, well balanced tone that can compliment any style of music from blues, jazz, country, folk and many more. Truly a hidden gem in Huntsville!
We attended a music listening (concert) of a stringed trio (blue grass esque) which was fabulous. The venue is quaint and has a very personal feel. Danny Davis and family are great hosts, fells like at their home.
We will be attending another in the near future.
Super cool venue!
Been in a few times whoever attended to me didn’t take me seriously about wanting to purchase a guitar and moved on to the next person in before I could inquire
Absolutely love the place! Friendly atmosphere with super neat unique decor. The musical talent was awesome! I had a great time! With more ac I would give it five stars.
