The employees, are very helpful and polite. I would tell people, to shop here, during business hours.
The employees here are fantastic! Always friendly and willing to help with whatever, store related or not… Randa is amazing! She keeps me coming back and gets me coupons I didn’t know about! You lose her, you and you lose many regular customers.
4/5 stars because they need Coca-Cola Vanilla…
Was very convenient to grab snacks for our hike and get something quick for lunch. Just off the highway on the way to the trailhead, so we didn’t have to go out of the way.
Nice clean, friendly service, and of course great prices
For all the driver that will be deliver here. The manager is a B does not push her roll taners out and lies to dot.
It’s a dollar store
Short staffed.

Great food…and friendly staff. The food was Ten Stars…
Great Service with great food! Some would consider a bit pricey but it is an eat in sit down family restaurant with great portions and great quality.
Good food and service. We had chicken fried steak and burgers. All the sides were good. Potato salad stood out as unique. Atmosphere is relaxed. Interior of building and decor are very interesting. Food took a long time was only negative, but overall highly recommend.
Fun place to eat while in the area. Really good burgers! Gave 4 stars instead of 5 because I got a steak that was a really bad cut and not flavorful for a ribeye. In retrospect I should have just stuck to burgers. Will go back and do that (and try the shake).
Stopped through here many times over the years. The food is always great, as is the atmosphere. The service was very slow this time but don’t let this keep you away. It’s worth stopping in and getting a bite to eat here.
My husband wanted to try this as it had great reviews.
We waited in line for 15 minutes. Got in and they seated us at a 6-8 person table. And waitress took our order in good time then this family of 6 came in they had to wait. Well they had 2 smaller tables so we told the hostess we’d change to a smaller table she asked if we were sure and I said “Sure sure” so we did and they got that family settled in. We only moved to the nested table it wasn’t like we moved all across the room, all wairesses’s had to pass us to get to their food pickup station. But our waitress never brought our food to us. We got lost in the shuffle literally like, no one saw us though everyone kept looking. But no one speaks to us or ask if our order was taking or anything. Our waitress was at the table next to us laughing and joking with the customers next to us. So after another 20 minutes of waiting at this table we still didn’t get our food. We came to the conclusion we weren’t going to be served so we decided to leave. We paid for our drinks and got up to leave. Don’t think we’ll be back at this cafe but will try the Blue Mountain Buffet & Bakery across the street, which my sister and her husband said their food was great, when we go to this town again.
The owner/manager is a jerk.
Definitely not pet friendly.
Food is fair some days. Service. Very slow.
Tiny little town with two cafes, not a whole lot of choices. I imagine they get a lot of traffic from people who are visiting Horseshoe Canyon Ranch, which is exactly what we were doing. We decided to go into “town” on our off day and tried the cafe. I was glad I packed most of our meals, as I wouldn’t want to eat here for four days. The food took a longgg time, refills were hard to come by. Most of our food – especially the burger and melt that we ordered were just warm, and obviously sitting for at least ten minutes before being served. I think they were waiting for the fried stuff – fried mushrooms and chicken tenders to be done before serving us. The patties in the burger and melt were dry, I would never order these here. Mushrooms and chicken were pretty good. Curly fries were not fresh but okay.
All in all, I would not recommend, but when you have no choices, you can’t be picky. (I did hear my in laws say they had good breakfast…)

Address: 408 S Glenwood Ave, Russellville, AR 72801 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
Bought pickup grounding plates for a Jazz style bass build. Work great, fit perfectly and helped greatly reducing the hum to almost nothing. Very happy
Ordered apart, got it shipped right away, friendly service these guys are great
Helpful and friendly staff always willing to help! Thanks guys!
Great music store
Pretty nice place! First time I have ever been was last week and was surprised at how pretty the inside of the building was and the nice selection overall. They have some beautiful guitars in there that take up an entire wall!
My only two complaints is the drum section is cramped in a corner, and I wasn’t approached or asked if I needed help a single time. There was one other customer in the building besides me and there was around four employees by the counter. I walked around the entire store for about 30 minutes and not a single time was I asked if I needed anything.
Not a major deal. Nice store and I will be back!
Didn’t have what i needed. Store was stocked with a ton of great gear. Seemed like a great staff.
Case And bow is falling apart. I wouldn’t recommend musicworks to anybody. Complete rip off. I got a 15 inch viola and within a year I had to get rid of it, because it was poorly made.
I was visiting Arkansas for a short time and had a last-minute need for an accessory for my USB microphone. I tried to call them numerous times over two days and no one ever answered the phone, nor did anyone ever return my call despite my leaving a message on the answering machine. So I risked it and drove to the store (because they were the only thing around the area), and when I got to the store I could see that unless I was a guitar player or drummer, I was probably out of luck. I just needed a wind sock for my microphone. They had ONE product that fit that description – with four socks, and all small. I finally had to settle on getting a popscreen instead. I honestly think in my particular situation I would’ve been better off ordering something online or going to BestBuy.
Brought my guitar into get work done on it. Neck reset and put new strings on it. They ship it out to the luthier who gives it back in worse condition than I gave it to them in. DO NOT USE!

Everyone here is super knowledgeable and have been able to help me build my home studio. Everything that I have bought here has been top notch and worked perfectly. So glad I have such a great music store in Conway!
Great selection. Nice little place!
Excellent store with great selection of instruments & accessories! Always incredible service to work with! Not like your typical music store with people over your back while you try out guitars.
Bought plenty of equipment from here and never had any issues! I would highly recommend this place when deciding where to get your next guitar!
Talked to Joey in the store today. He took some time to help me plan for an upcoming purchase for our church. They have a large selection of all kinds of musical instruments and they do lessons, as well. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Highly recommended! Thanks, Joey!
I was looking at electric guitars and they didn’t offer to let me plug any of them in. How are you truly going to know if you like one or not if you can’t hear the sound.
My guitar was in for repairs for about 4 months. Almost no communication was provided about status of the repair work. It’s understandable with Covid making it difficult to have parts shipped, but the lack of adequate communication was uncomfortably disappointing. I don’t blame the young individual who was working on my guitar, but rather leadership who should have provided direction on appropriate and timely customer service communication. It doesn’t matter to me that it would have taken considerable time for repairs. But the lack of communication stating that due to a backlog in parts, and it was just a waiting game, would have been enough. A 30 second phone call every couple of weeks or so to advise a customer that no progress has been made is better than nothing…it would have been enough to have left my guitar there for months longer. The ironic thing about all this is that I really like the store and the people at Palmer Music, so I will most likely continue to purchase my music supplies from them and I hope my experience there was a one-off….
Went in expecting to buy a new guitar on 01/26/2023. The man behind the counter was very unfriendly & unhelpful.
I found one I wanted to buy but I just didn’t really want to give my money to a person who didn’t know how to smile.
Another employee walked by and was even more emotionless than the other guy. I left feeling very unwelcome.
I will not be back.
Go to GUITAR CENTER instead (you can actually have FUN there).

I’m always greeted by a super friendly staff; they’ll even get on a first name basis with their repeat customers. They carry a pretty wide selection of sheet music for piano, strings, and horns. Also they have a repair shop within their store called independent music repair. If they don’t have it or can’t fix it, like my bass guitar for example, they will send you in the right direction. This is an around lovely store. After ten years of patronage, I haven’t had a single issue. Keep it up y’all!
Very helpful staff.
Very friendly and helpful staff!
Always very helpful. Some hard to find items too.
Everyone is easy to talk to and friendly. They carry a wide assortment of musical equipment. Typically geared for the student musician.
Loved this business. Welcoming people, warm. ❤
Awful service. Bought strings for my guitar, and since im not very good at putting them on and they were the most expensive strings, i left my guitar for them to put the strings on for me bc they said theyd do it for free and that they would call me within a day or so. I waoted almsot a week and figured that i must have missed the call and went there to get my guitar. They hadnt even touched it and told me that it would be several more days before they could get to it. I just went ahead and took my guitar. Never getting my business again im just gonna go to guitar center.
Do not let them store your debit card on file. I have an unauthorized charge on my account. ONLY PAY THEM THROUGH THE WEBSITE, NOT OVER THE PHONE.
Pretty great selection of instruments, however I felt extremely awkward with the staff and felt like my questions were intrusions. You could chalk this up to me just being anxious, but I would have much more appreciated an employee who could recommend stuff to me, and willing to help me find what I’m looking for. I’ll be going to A different shop to get what I need
11. Quattlebaum Music Center
Address: 101 W Arch Ave, Searcy, AR 72143 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
This is the go to place for your instumental needs. Staff is very knowledgeable and hometown freindly. Buying or or not this is the place to go.
I was buying a drumset from there, and they answered all the questions I had. They made every thing very clear. And they had great prices.
Nice staff and selection of musical instruments and products.
Decent selection for a smaller store. Good prices! I’ve bought and rented equipment from them for years. Friendly service!!
Lots of instruments. Decent prices.
This is a long time local favorite. It’s a cool little music store. Good customer service. Has guitars, violin/fiddle, cello, bass, etc.
I’ve purchased things from here before, but today, I felt as though my business was not wanted. I took a violin in due to having issues tuning it and the bridge popping off. Was told what I need to do. Told them thank you and asked my daughter if she wanted to look around. Was told to have a nice day. Was not asked if I needed help with anything else. Employee just walked away
They are selling stolen property.
Very rude to my wife and all she did was ask a queston please don’t do business with these people we don’t need rude people in this town.
12. Guitar Center
Address: 160 E Joyce Blvd, Fayetteville, AR 72703 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
Bought a Gibson SG through their customer service desk. Very nice experience and a very nice guitar!
Good service, good selection of guitars and accessories.
Knowledgeable staff, and lots of musical equipment to choose from.
In my opinion, this is literally the best music store in Arkansas.
Definitely worth visiting if you’re a musician and you’re looking for great deals on great equipment!
Tax was a bit bunch but other than that it’s a great place to buy a washburn guitar.
Excellent customer service.
Actually bought a Remo Dumbek for $100. Great selection of everything you need, if it’s drums, or guitars.
Friendly helpful service, and I’m very happy with my drum.
Showed curbside pickup and in stock for an item, drove 30 min to store and they apparently don’t have any in stock. Waste of time.
Good
This place is a rip off scam artist they try to low-ball you on guitars worth 200 dollars and offer you 22 dollars.
13. Low Gap Cafe
Address: 603 East St, Jasper, AR 72641 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
This place was recommended by locals. We were expecting great food and somehow this place still surpassed our expectations. Yum!
It was awesome! First time there and the staff is great! Loved it!
My husband and I came here during an anniversary trip. It had a casual, open, homey atmosphere, and the staff is super friendly and fun (the cooks, who look like they could be on Duck Dynasty, do not wear beard nets or anything though, if that is a concern for you..) The cooks are a hoot and interact with guests as they work. The food was pretty good. We got a seafood platter. The fried shrimp and French fries were delicious. The frog legs were ok, but I think I just don’t like frog legs. The fish was muddy-tasting, and the dessert was pretty average as far as taste. So atmosphere and service- 5 stars. The food itself was more like a 3 based on the dishes we ordered. Seafood can be a hard one to get right.
It was very cold when we were there on Memorial Day weekend, and there were no outdoor heaters. The food took more than an hour to come. When it finally arrived, it was good but nothing spectacular. Thankfully it was hot, but by that point we were frozen to the bone. Additionally, there was a horrible latrine odor that just would not go away…I would try it again, just to see if our experience that day was just an anomaly.
Really good burgers and fries!!! But the restraunt was kinda dirty and the cooks didn’t look professional and handled our food with their bare hands!!
I just don’t get all the 5 star reviews. 5 shrimps and the smallest amount of fries I’ve ever been given for $13.95? Blackberry Cobbler for I believe $8.95 (for sure at least $7.95) for a dessert? That’s on par with the fanciest restaurants, which this is not. Service wasn’t good either. She never checked back with us after she gave us our food and I got charged $3.95 for a drink when all I had was water. The food tasted good, but it was way over priced.
The owners are blatantly disrespectful especially to those who have lost a loved one. I’m a local and have eaten gear plenty of times but no more you want to be disrespectful to funeral goers you can get out before you ruin more then just your business
Not sure what I was missing looking at all of the reviews. Bad ventilation makes it a smokey and clothes soaked odor. Unclean, overpriced. We had catfish with a plain batter and the cheeseburger was average at best.
14. Valley Piano Co
Address: 3515 W Main St, Russellville, AR 72801 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
Always a great place to shop! Thanks for always being so helpful!
Loved it! They have a great selection of not only pianos but guitars, amps and a lot of other accessories. The staff were very friendly and helpful!
Great store and large selection..
Great people, a very old store
I went into to buy a guitar. Very small selection
Lots of sheet music and DVDs but it is all on the computer today. Wonderful people. I wish them well!
My visit was to test the integrity of an electric guitar I had. Spoke to the guy behind the counter. (The one with the gray streaked goatee). Told him I was preparing to sell it via Facebook, and all I want to do is see if it sounds as it should. He said it was ok I was like great thanks. The buyer was from outta town and was shopping for guitar supplies. She had just bought amp still needed a cord possibly more. Asked her to meet up there since she was just down the road. She wanted to go in do to the rain. Instantly he started ranting that he’s a business man a professional and I was shady for what I had done. I was very polite. My reply ( I’m sorry I brought you a customer sure she meet up with me to buy a guitar for cheap but she still may need something) she was there for his childish act. ( she replied I do need a cord) He didn’t even bother to respond to her. He looks at me says someone smells bad like cigarettes… Wow 0 stars for your sir. Where’s your public relations at. Your welcome for that sell.
15. Music Center
Address: 2809 W 28th Ave, Pine Bluff, AR 71603 , Jasper , Arkansas , United States
Amazing place the owners are awesome and some of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. Rooms are very clean and well taken care of. It’s very easy to tell the owners love their job and their place
Cheap, clean, with a pool.
Being a climber the proximity to HCR makes this place good. It’s not the Hilton but it’s a good place to hang your hat. Not to mention the lady who runs it is part of a dying breed. She’s such a nice person and her husband is a swell dude as well. Their politeness alone is enough to make me return whenever I come back to climb in Ark.
Went canoeing through this outfitter this past week and the couple that ran the motel were great and we were pleased with the services they offered. This is a nice way to float and enjoy the Buffalo. They provided shuttle to the drop-off and then were waiting on us at pickup later that day.
Cool little motel, built in the 50’s. Walk to multiple restaurants. Definitely a throw back, clean rooms.
Cheap good place to sleep while exploring the buffalo! Simple but very clean.
If I could give 0 stars I would! This place is bottom of the barrel. The equipment is cheap and old but you pay a premium for it. We needed up needing one less canoes than what we rented initially (needed 5 instead of 6), but yet they refused to refund us for the rental we didn’t use. That is bad business practice. We were charged $450 to float the river for 9 people. The truck they transported us with is trash and barely made it back to the motel after the float. This is clearly a family run business that just picks up the other scraps from the other more reputable rental places for people that didn’t make reservations ahead of time-like myself-won’t make that mistake again. Please save yourself money and have a better experience and just use BOC, they are the best.
Lady didn’t even give us two seconds before she said we “couldn’t park here” excuse us for taking one spot for 5 minutes to look at the river, totally not hindering the 3 cars parked in the lot.. sorry for being a tourist.
The beds was like sleeping on plywood but the rooms was very clean.
