Beast Guitars has done a great job with anything I’ve thrown at them. Mike has done 3 or 4 set ups for me and each one has come back with guitar playing awesome. He has also quickly diagnosed and repaired a few other issues. He’s extremely flexible and service quality has been fantastic.
Dropped of a case kept Ibanez Xiphos I hadn’t played in years. Needed new strings and a tremolo bridge set up good clean and shine. Once it was ready I was shocked at the quality of the set up and how clean my guitar was , it was like new. I will definitely bring my other guitars for repair and work in the future , 10/10 would recommend

Mike is the man and I’m glad I brought my guitar to him I called and spoke to a few local shops he was there number 1 choice and had the best turn around time. I now see why he did a awesome job we talked and went over exactly what I wanted and that’s exactly what I got and that is very rare these days I will only bring my guitars to him from now on
Redid the electronics and replaced the bone nut in my Fender Lead II. Has never sounded better. My only gripe is having to take the entire pickguard off to change the batteries when they die, so I think I’m gonna have to come back soon to change them.
Friendly and helpful people answered all questions and offered helpful opinions/ advice
Cool music store. We need more places like this. Staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Encouraged the kids to have fun with instruments.
Big selection here. Great prices! Knowledgeable staff!
Very good…
Eclectic mix of modern and vintage performance instruments and gear, with a local, friendly, patient, knowledgeable staff of musicians.
Good for piano and guitar. Howrver if you need help with any band instrument such as flute, saxophone, trombone, etc. then they have no clue how to help you
Super nice guys but when I tried to trade my mint esp 1000 deluxe with case and a marshall amp with a footswitch for a $512 takamine acoustic guitar they also told me they wanted 400 bucks. I get they are a business but didn’t know they were trying to straight up butcher me on the trade. On the phone the dude named Mike told Bruce that my ESP is selling for 700. Kinda wrong imo. Nice people though
This place is a rip off….cost me 60 dollars to have my 12 string worked on and when I got it home the electronics still didn’t work and when I complained about it all I got was a runaround. They wanted 150 dollars to replace the pre amp in the guitar and I told then no way. I went on ebay and bought the pre amp for $8.83 and it took me about an hour to fix it. Also the brand new strings they charged me for were all corroded. Beware of this place I will never ever do business with them again. Twice they have ripped me off.
Went in for an acoustic replacement part and the guy gave me a part for another guitar that was close but not right. Being an instrument shop, the guy should know what works and what doesn’t…or at least what to look for, for compatibility. It’s no big deal that I wasted the time and money…it’s the lack of knowledge from their part. I’m going to measure everything myself and order online, cheaper.
Also, come on, guys, every time I’ve gone in there (over 9 years) it’s always the same…dirty and dusty with a bunch of used unorganized crap everywhere. There are always people just sitting around and talking. I’m all for a cool hang out, but how about getting up off your butts and working your store a little. You have so much room and stuff, clear it out, clean it, and put it back in a better/improved way.
Lastly, your used acoustic guitars are miserable. I understand they’re used…but your prices are high and every guitar I looked at had major issue (cracks in the sound board or missing electronics with gaping holes).
Local shops are being killed by Amazon and the online retailers…you’re not helping to motivate us local musicains to support local shops. You could be the best in Brevard…but you need to do something and better yourselves.

So been playing guitar for a long time. I have a few guitars with Floyd Rose Tremolos installed, and thought now is a good time to do some upgrades.
The first upgrade I did was get one of those Big Brass sustain blocks to enhance the tone of my Floyd. I also use a term stabilizer so I can pull up and push down hard on the term.
Liked it..but while researching sustain blocks, ran across the Stone Tone Granite sustain blocks by Stone Tone. I thought I would give it a try as well.
When I first got it, I compared it to the weight of the brass blocks I had purchased and felt the Stone Tone was way lighter which made me skeptical as I thought the weight would be the enhancer of good tone.
I installed the Stone Tone sustain block anyway, plugged the guitar in, and all of a sudden I got TONS of harmonics and punch that I knew lived in the guitar, but wasn’t coming out before I installed this thing.
Needless to say, I am buying more and putting them in all my Floyd Rose-equipped guitars. What a great mod you can do that DOES make a sonic difference that you can hear and feel.
This mod is worth it!
I’m on my third Rock Block! Any guitar I own with a Floyd Rose gets one!! It really makes a difference!! Rock on!!

AMAZING SUSTAIN AND TONE…
8. Springer Music Studio
Address: 2185 Meadowlane Ave, Melbourne, FL 32904 , June Park , Florida , United States
SMS is a studio dedicated to families and their growth through music and so much more. They will do absolutely everything to make sure that their students and families feel welcome, included and important. My son has been going to SMS for almost 4 years, and I wouldn’t consider taking him anywhere else. From a preschool introduction to music class, to songwriting workshops, to state-level music evaluations – you won’t find a more well-rounded studio around.
I have been taking drumming classes with George Lopez twice a week for about a month now and he has been awesome. George is very personable, friendly and made my learning experience so smooth. In one month, I have definitely made more progress than I was originally expecting.
Best studio recorded my single there
Long story short I signed my kids up for private 1:1 piano/voice lessons.
She changed it to a group class and raised the rate (which I didn’t register or agree to originally )
When I backed out today due to the price difference and class change she refused to refund me because I didn’t give 48 hours notice and blocked me.
Meanwhile she didn’t even tell me about the class or price change I found out online and had to message her about it.
I filed a dispute with the bank.

Great customer service! Fast shipping and excellent packing. Very fair prices. I’m definitely keeping an eye out for my other dream horns here.
Had a wonderful 1st experience with Jamie. Called about a trumpet listed online. She answered my questions, sent me some additional pictures, offered a great price, and shipping was quick. The used trumpet I purchased was nicer than I could have imagined and I was thrilled with the excellent customer service and great all-around experience. Thx!
Jamie is an excellent resource. Her inventory of trumpets is one of the best I’ve ever come across. She made the decision making and purchase process a breeze. Will be back soon!

Excellent selection of music supplies and a great place to take lessons
I’ve been coming to The Horn Section for years, buying my younger sister reeds or taking her clarinet for maintenance, and I’ve always had a decent experience. Occasionally, some of the staff are grumpier than usual, but it’s okay since everybody has a not good day occasionally, and I’ll blame it on Tiki the dog not being there for emotional support. Anyway, fast service and quick repair turnarounds! While kids can make fun of other kids for having loaner instruments while their instruments are out for repairs, I’m thankful that they are at least given a loaner so they do not have to sit out in class and miss hands on instructional time with their instruments.
Great place for kids to learn music. I have 2 taking lessons here and they are performing at a very level and considering i have no music ability im giving all the credit to their lessons
Apprehensive staff and good inventory. This place is great for supplying up for school band stuff
It has almost everything you could need for your instrument but doesn’t have a very wide selection for mouthpieces
Ordered an instrument, charged for instrument, after 2 weeks and multiple calls and sitting on hold for 45 mins was informed they have no idea when I would receive my instrument. And my refund will take 3-4 weeks.
Never open even though it’s normal business hours. Never returns phone calls. The men that work there are friendly, but the female is rude. Will over charge your credit card on random days. Then instead of refunding will harass you, even at work for more money.
First of all, they need to extend their store hours for 2 weeks during August when students are renting instruments. I went on a Saturday and the line was over an hour-long. Secondly, a week later, I tried to return a still sealed, unopened package of reeds to the store and was told they were non-returnable, even though their website specifically says, “The following items are returnable only if defective or unopened or unused: strings, reeds, tubes…” I’m going to ask my child’s band director to consider recommending a different local business for music needs next year.
12. Atlantic Music Center
Address: 150 East Dr suite c, Melbourne, FL 32904 , June Park , Florida , United States
When you visit Atlantic Music Center, you’ll know immediately that it’s not your typical piano store. For one, it’s pressure free and enjoyable. I brought my wife and boys on a Saturday afternoon. Upon arriving, I asked Connor to take me to the Baldwin L, which I bought. It had the tone and feel I was looking for. For many years, I’d hoped to own a Baldwin grand one day. During the visit, I played several other pianos, including a special edition Bosendorfer. Brian asked me to play the well-loved Brahms Intermezzo in A (played it earlier on the Baldwin L) and what a treat! I wanted my family to see the restoration shop, and we were graciously shown around. My children will always remember the experience, and I’m planning a return visit just to hang out in the shop (and play more pianos, of course). Seriously, Brian is a guy that stands behind his pianos. He had my piano delivered to Middleburg (in Clay Co) by the best delivery team you can imagine.
If you’re just looking for a piano, go ahead and give Atlantic Music Center a visit. You’re going to be glad you did.
Very nice place .
Always a wonderful experience.
So I have not bought a piano from this dealer, but I HAVE noticed that in looking at their reviews, every site I look at, share the same reviews, same exact text. It makes the reviews look like they are planted from the business. Where do I go to get a real review of this business?
Took Brian a week to get back to me with 1 sentence that said they were too busy to repair my piano. Happy to look for service elsewhere!
I end up buying my piano somewhere else because I just couldn’t get straight answers and responses from them.
Today he was also the second time they said they would call me back and didn’t. They’re close enough that I can walk to their store but they don’t seem to respect me so I don’t feel like shopping there.

Michael is such a great help! What a dear. He was so knowledgeable and answered every question I had for him! Thanks, Michael!
My experience at this store was amazing. A few weeks ago I started on a path to learn to play the violin. This store was referred to me by my teacher, she raved about the wide range of instruments available. Walking in the store, I felt out of my league but Samantha went up and beyond to assist me with the items I needed as a beginner. She took the time to educate me on a few things and well went the extra mile with everything to get me started. Thank you so much Samantha!
Always a great place to visit. Staff are helpful and knowledge. Luthier’s are expert.
Good choices helpful
Have wide range of string instruments in various price ranges.
Was happy with work they did on my violin.
Friendly and helpful staff. Not intimidating at all, which was my concern in first going there.
I bought and rented quite a few instruments from Atlantic Strings over many years for my kids, even a piano way back when it also sold pianos. I happened to need something for myself today and was very disappointed. I asked if I could buy a bass bag, but return it the next day if it didnt work out. They said no and made me feel embarrassed and stupid for asking. Now I will buy the same case for 30 dollars cheaper on Amazon and never buy anything from Atlantic strings again. Way to lose a longtime customer!
I bought a viola from this company, ended up being too big for my daughter. Took it back they have a no refund policy and don’t let them fool you about the trade in policy. It was traded in for a viola that wasn’t even close to the original one I bought. The bridge on this viola broke within two months. They just traded it out again on another one and this
one doesn’t even have a quality sound to it. They are a horrible run
company. They could care less if their customers are happy with their
purchases. I would highly not recommend this to anyone.
Overpriced
15. Premier Music

Hello I have a question. I am a beginner piano player and I have an entry level digital piano. I am in no place to buy piano, but would love to just come in to play. Now at a place like guitar center it is understood that that is fine. But for this I am not sure.
Doing business with Premier Music is a pure delight. Frank was very courteous, listened to all of my concerns, and answered questioned with expert knowledge of his craft. Great customer service.
So we have been looking over a year, searching the whole state of FL. for a deal. When all was said and done the best deal was right in our backyard: Melbourne. We got an incredible deal on a new baby grand! This was the best price I could find after searching internet sites and visiting piano dealers. Frank, the owner is a great guy and was very honest, he didn’t try to up- sell us something we didn’t want. He gave us options and negotiated a more than fair price. The inventory had all the options from pre-owned to a new concert hall grand. I would highly recommend you see Frank before you strike a deal with anyone in the area. No one could touch him !! Thanks Frank!!
I went here once and bought guitar strings and all was great I went back a few times to look at buying a guitar but they were never open and had a sign by appointment only but never had any luck making one
I purchased a piano here…kind of felt like I was getting the “bum’s rush” – that I needed to hurry up and buy right now. I didn’t trust/believe what the owner said..Be very careful if you shop here. Sadly, you must remember : let the BUYER BEWARE.
Not open when they say . Can only look at pianos by appointment and you are immediately overwhelmed with questions about price range .

Lots of DVD’S. Action, Horror, Drama, Comedy. In alphabetical order in sections. Whst We wanted was out of stick today. Can go on line if need be to see what They have. Order something. Stop in & check it out.
Fun little nick nack store but they are pressured to sign you up for programs which suck
great selection of collectables
Has everything for movies
Dont get sucked into the subscription thing they will tell you about for 30 minutes at the register while there is a 10 person line forming. The number they tell you can call is a joke and it will debit your bank account for ever, even if you change youre card. You have to close your account all together to get it to stop. My ex wife signed up for this subscription or whatever it is, aside from that the store has cool stuff but over priced as im sure the mall charges them an arm and a leg in rent like usual
They changed everything up and you can’t find CD’s anymore like you used to.
Not a very friendly staff and prices have become very unreasonable!
20. Florida Music Therapy
Address: 1906 Platt St, Melbourne, FL 32901 , June Park , Florida , United States
My son loves going to music therapy. His teacher is so sweet and he always has the best time there.
Both of my children have been with Florida Music Therapy for the past year +.
I could literally write a book about all of the wonderful ways music therapy has changed our lives.
It has given my non-verbal son a way to communicate (which is beyond huge) and it has helped my daughter grow beyond recognition.
The therapists are the most caring, knowledgeable and all around, absolutely incredible people.
I highly recommend Florida Music Therapy!!!!!!!
My son is autistic and sometimes it’s difficult for him to express his feelings or needs. Music therapy with Rose has been a Godsend! J is happier and more expressive. He looks forward to every weeks session and then runs straight to his keyboard or guitar at home to play the music he’s learned or is working on. Rose looks up the music he’s interested in and teaches him to play it! Sometimes they just “free” play music and it’s amazing!
I am constantly recommending Florida Music Therapy to others and will continue!
