Great shop. Eric and David, the owner/operators are both working musicians and do much to support and promote local pro/am musicians. A great asset to our community.
Eric and his Father are great guys. Wasn’t planning on buying a guitar my first visit 2 years ago but i did now i’m looking to buy another from them !
Great place to go to. The owners are extremely friendly and welcoming (which seems to be rare in Havasu). First time I went in a bought a slide whistle and a xylophone for a reasonable price and had a great conversation about music during the time I was there. Tons of guitars and basses inside, some ukuleles, band equipment, drums and other odds and ins fill the rest of the room. For being a new place this place has most everything you need to start and then some.
Very helpful and able to fix my problem.
Very kind people!
Friendly service and helpful. I always have a few questions about my guitar or music and they answer every one!
Place is closed
this music shop has some of the worst service I have ever had to deal with at any music shop they don’t do things in a timely manner example I dropped off my guitar for a simple tuning and intonation set up and they had my guitar for over a week and it still wasn’t done completely and this isn’t the first time I have had service problems with River City music here in lake Havasu Arizona so please take my advice and find a different shop for your musical needs hope everyone has a glorious day today happy late new years
4. Bump City Music
Address: 278 London Bridge Rd # A, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Chuck was fun to shoot the breeze with. Certainly knows a thing or two. Hooked me up with some cheap guitar tuners when all I needed was two. Stand-up guy. I’ll give him my business again.
Cool shop.
Chuck was awesome to talk with and showed me a variety of Electric Guitars and helped me find out specifically what I was looking for, He hooked me up with a deal JBP Guitar, Amp + Cord for a solid price. Sure he may not be here or have it open all the time but the owner Chuck is a musician himself and we are known to be busy doing other things instead of working 9 – 5’s so cut him some slack, Other than that if you want a Guitar and some knowledge while shopping this is the place to go. Friendly, Professional, and Offers Deals. Highly Recommend this place.
Bad customer service.
Like the previous review, the shop was closed the 2nd time I tried buying something there. The 1st time they were nice enough & offered a killer deal on a strat but they didn’t have what I came in for. So I came back the next day around the same time & the place was closed at 3pm when the sign says 1-6 Monday – Friday. Super annoying. You can’t even call before you stop by to see if they’re even open because the only phone number listed no longer works. Lame….
Business is permanently closed
5. Phil’s Band Instrument Repair
Address: 3808 Bear Dr, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86406 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Super friendly, and extremely nice selection. Not too expensive either compared to online stores, and it’s still high quality. If you’re interested in anything to do with instruments/music, you should DEFINITELY check this place out. It’s worth the visit!
Incredible store! I’ve been there a number of times and the staff is always friendly and helpful whenever called upon. And there’s a great selection in spite of the small space. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for musical instruments, equipment, and instruction books.
I just purchased some 1/4” cables for a pair of Rokit monitors that I received on Christmas and the staff was very helpful and informative and knew the exact cables I would need since my monitors are powered and don’t take the typical speaker cables.
I recommend visiting Lisa Store.
Brought a guitar yesterday, it was painless. I believe the sister was at the helm. Forgot a couple of things so I will be there on Monday. So far no worries. Everyone whom I spoke with made sure they were attentive to my needs. Thanks for the help and I look forward to your continued support.
Brought in my guitar to have it looked over due to a one note fret buzz. Took twenty minutes for a tech to suggest for another tech take a look. He was to busy helping a paying customer and i wasnt spending $300 so I left. Techs couldn’t even give me the damn correct Grovers for my Dean. Can’t help a fellow musician unless you pay the outrageous tune ups and setup fees.
Yuma needs a mom and pop music store not a franchise
UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
LAST FEW VISITS HAVE BEEN ENOYABLE. THE OWNER WAS PLEASANT AND NOT PUSHY. MUCH BETTER INTERACTION WITH GUITAR TECH.
I WOULD RECOMMEND A LOOK AT A MINOR REPAIR TECH. FRET LEVELS AND WIRING SERVICES WOULD BE GREAT CONSIDERING YUMA ONLY HAS 1 TRUE MUSIC STORE
CHARLES G
Helpful, but rude and unwelcoming. My instrument was a gift and when I took it in with questions, they belittled me. The person who gifted my instrument has apologized repeatedly.
I have an expensive Martin guitar and I needed some new strings.i called the store on Thursday and asked if they could install them.i was told that there was only 2 people working and they couldn’t help me until Monday or Tuesday.i was very disappointed and said I’ll have to try somewhere else the employ was all too eager to say alright then and I hung up.not very professional.consequently,I will never trust or do business with fretwork in yuma.
This store is a disgrace with no respect or regard for their customers. I brought in a viola to be fixed for an important event, and the tech manager decided not to fix it! Thank you for ruining my one year anniversary.
Avoid this place at all costs
7. Fleet Street Music & Recording
Address: 2014 McCulloch Blvd N # A, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
This is a great little music shop. They are reasonably priced and just great people to be around. We appreciate the advice and help that they have provided, and we love how they treat every customer as a friend.
I just have to say John is an awesome guy. I have been a customer for years and he’s always been
there in a pinch. I had a bad cord and need a new one so I could produce some music tonight. Called John up. He said call when I get there and he’ll meet me outside. Called, met outside and got the cord I needed. Great customer service. Thanks John. Keep it up. I’ll be back.
Seriously righteous people and totally affordable!
wouldn’t give it even one star! I just went in to grab some guitar strings and was never once acknowledged the whole time I was there. Not even a greeting. needless to say I walked out. Not sure what the deal is in this town but I have yet to encounter any sort of professionalism with the businesses here!!!
Low quality gear that is way over priced.
9. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4402 W Cactus Rd, Glendale, AZ 85304 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Unbeatable prices and great staff. If you’re a drummer, this IS your kind of place.
I LOVE THIS PLACE…ALWAYS GREAT SERVICE AND EXPERIENCE EMPLOYEES KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT ..I PERSONALLY LIKE DEALING WITH NICK..HES A SOLID CAT AND KNOWS HIS STUFF!!!…#@BADMANNAMUSIC
Very helpful staff. Made a purchase of a pedal that was recommended and found it to be just what I was looking for. Great service. Great company!
My husband favorite place! Best deals in town!
Staff was very friendly, work was performed well, pricing seemed fair. I was told about two hours so I left 5 hrs later I called for update and told work not finished but said was almost done.. they called back about 1/2 hour later and said work complete. Picked up my stuff and all was good. I just wished they had told me the actual time they needed.
A very good music store even though they didn’t have what I wanted.
As me and my friends were trying out some drums we were told by a white Lady to let some white guys try them out. Also when we went to look at the sticks the lady followed us and watched us the entire time. This was a very uncomfortable situation and I will never return here, we are Hispanics and I don’t feel that we should be treated this way. I usuall don’t get offended by these things but this lady was very disrespectful. I’m not sure what her name was but she was working in the drum department.
Sam Ash did not do anything to get my bass guitar from Ibanez in the time promised. All they had to do was call over and tell them to 2 day ship. Instead of my ship date being 1 week from time of purchase (standard), it was 7. The employees seemed dumbfounded by the long wait and kept saying sorry, maybe next week (over and over) instead of working for me and making it happen. They did not offer to throw-in a little something for my trouble, I had to ask. And it was nothing really. The employee Sam (who has been there for 7 months or so) said, “You know, we’re not making much off of you, so…” as his excuse for not trying to go above and beyond for this customer. He kept telling me about customers who have had to wait longer than I did, even when they spent $1,000 on a guitar. As though they deserve a trophy for that. I think that’s even worse that Sam Ash wouldn’t work hard for the person paying that much. But EQUALLY, customers should get what they paid for. I cried in the store when I finally picked it up, trying to explain things to Sam and the manager and they legit didn’t act like they cared about me at all. I left defeated, tears in my eyes, and angry. I will never purchase anything from here again.
If you are in a hurry go somewhere else. The amount of paperwork that they do will keep you there a lot longer than it should.
10. PRESCOTT VALLEY MUSIC – PV MUSIC
Address: 8561 Florentine Rd suite a, Prescott Valley, AZ 86314 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Came in for a guitar case and Russ was very helpful and friendly. This is my first choice if need of any music accessories or anything music related! Thank you, Russ!
These guys are great and have always been good to me. They have an awesome selection of amps and effects, as well as good techs who’s work is under warranty, though I haven’t had to take them up on that warranty! Russ is the man and his passion for music shows through his work.
This is a great local music shop. Russ has been in business in the local music community for many years and is a great guy. His priced are very competitive, he is very knowledgeable about all types of musical instruments and equipment. And his customer service is always top notch. I’ve been buying and selling and trading stuff to and from him for more than 10 years and the services i have experience have always left a smile on my face.
I stopped by Prescott Valley Music looking for someone to repair my flute. Even though they specialize in guitar repair, he fixed my flute within minutes at no charge. I will definitely go back with my guitar needs.
Went there with a friend.
I think all they sell is USED. Even patch cords. 🙁 Totally disgusting and disappointed.
Don’t buy vinyl from them
Sadly, and most regrettably, I must report that Russell, the proprietor of PVM, used his prior good business standing to consign, endorse, solicit, directly accept partial payment for, a fraudulently, utterly misrepresented $3k instrument, that is so INTENTIONALLY damaged (a 40” gong, sawn into THREE parts, then poorly soldered back together) that it is basically rendered useless as a musical instrument. He also personally/professionally arranged for its delivery and attested to the instrument’s ‘excellent’ condition (all in email and voicemails, still retained as evidence).
Initially responsive, and seemingly aghast, he and the seller he worked with, and as agent for, now decline to correspond or address this, each saying neither or the other is responsible.
A $3k scam?????
BEWARE!!
I needed insurance appraisals for some of my guitars. I emailed pics and the appraisal came back that evening. Superfast, great price. Joe appraised two of my guitars and gave me current values on half a dozen others within a matter of hours. Easy to work with and very friendly. I will deal with him again. HIGHLY recommended .
I live in Ohio and saw that Joe’s does free appraisals online. I sent him a few pictures of a guitar I have and he quickly responded with information and a rough estimate on a price. He actually gave me a call and gave me as much info about my guitar as he could. He also offered to buy it, as well as pay for the shipping. Now that’s what I call service! Give him a call, and see how much your guitar could be worth.
I had an old guitar to sell and Joe was just the expert I needed to determine the value. He is very responsive and professional.
Been loving this place for quite a while. Nice folks, always helpful and great selection. Prices are a bit out of control, however. Squier bullets for $40 over new price. Used guitars priced same or higher than new (hence 3 stars) but always fun to look and sometimes the odd fairly priced piece in there as well, though you’ll get most things in there brand new for considerably cheaper.
Helped with an appraisal for me. Quick and easy.
Beware. Got the rug pulled out right from under me now refund is taking weeks. Very tough to buy vintage from a seller like this. Not honorable. Plenty of good guys out there why have any shade. You’ve been warned.
Rude customer service from the minute I got on the phone with them.
Very surprised by my experience since this business has so many 5 star reviews. Sent texts and emails & left voicemails but have never received any response whatsoever in nearly a week. Left to wonder if I ever will.
13. Music & Arts
Address: 5350 W Bell Rd #132, Glendale, AZ 85308 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
We wanted an instrument from here for about a year and a half, and the experience was great.
Great service! The have something for everyone. If you are shopping on a budget there are plenty of discounts.
Needed a music stand , none at walmart, M & A had it in stock, $20 less than walmart.
Jih ill
Great experience. I browsed myself, then asked for some advice and assistance. The newer employee was very knowledgeable and asked questions to pinpoint what I might be looking for. He made excellent suggestions and answered my range of questions. He even stooped his music language down to my level of understanding. Great deal on my purchase and I look forward to returning.
Thank you MUSIC & ARTS.
1 request, perhaps a searchable database of your inventory would assist in locating various items, rather than “browse to locate” with the customer.
Staff was super
More of a gift shop then a music store. Non musician sales people, don’t have a clue.
Terrible
Be very careful getting anything from this place read anything you sign. The instruments they sell or lease must be priceless. I paid over 1800 dollars on what I thought was a rent to own instrument to find out three years later they are still billing me. When I went to turn in the instrument and resolve the issue they told me it was no rent to own but a lease that builds credit for another item when I end the contract I could purchase an instrument with that credit. WoW was I shocked to find out that the items they are offering you for that credit are Clapped out I’m talking a $50 tops flea market condition. I was insulted and walked out! Now I see a $50 balance that I had with them a year ago is @ almost $500 dollars.!!! In my opinion they are @ the level of predatory lending because @ the time my son needed the I instrument I didn’t have the $300 to buy one. The school sent me here and this was the outcome I am nauseous..
14. Central Music
Address: 5038 N Central Ave, Phoenix, AZ 85012 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Super nice and helpful I needed a truss rod adjustment for my dads and they did it for free they they speak Spanish too awesome place I don’t know why it’s not more popular than what it is
High quality service, locally owned music shop.
The old saying that you can never go home again is mostly true — except in the case of Central Music.
Back when Phoenix — and my skills as a musician — were less developed, I spent lots of time at CM buying all kinds of blues guitar learnin’ stuff.
And the high point was getting to chat with Roy the manager; he always made me feel right at home.
Fast forward lots of years and I get nostalgic for a visit to the place. And amazingly, it’s exactly as I remembered it. And there was Roy, still standing behind the counter; a bit older, but still as friendly as ever.
At Central music you can get sheet music, instruments, picks, strings, straps, and a whole bunch of other stuff. It’s certainly no big name, big box music store like we see all over town, but that’s the beauty of it.
Stepping back into Central Music for me was like stepping back in time… and proof that sometimes you really can go home.
Cool little shop. People and staff are nice there. Remember that this is a great shop if you want to shop for sheet music! They have tons of sheet music, and odds and ends for instruments. This isn’t the place to go for buying or renting instruments. Cool place, but mainly just for sheet music.
really great service but nothing is perfect
Very nice store that’s been here for a long time. The store is tidy. There’s a small selection of musical instruments and other accessories. My family shops here often and we always feel welcome.
They didn’t help me they said I had to make 4 other drives to get it
No tiene variedad de cuerdas,no ve de guitarras de calidad.
CentralMusic purchase policy of NO REFUNDS NO RETURNS: bought a gig bag/very nice. Also bought, and am now stuck with, Kremona KNG classical guitar pickup: rubber on the plug end is brittle/cracking. I tape-wrapped it BECAUSE NO REFUNDS/NO RETURNS. However, I do apologize to you, Central Music, because I should have examined that pickup, should have said “rubber boot has breaks” or something to that effect. But I bought it the day before my wife’s funeral service where I was scheduled to play for a bit. So, I was a little pressed for time, grieving My Beautiful Wife’s passing, not thinking before I posted my comments about Central Music. So, I am sorry if I sounded rude, because that’s not who I am. On the bright side, your shop was open, item was available, product does work, and I wish I could read music better because you have lots of sheet music available and other gear for sale.
15. Atomic Guitar Works
Address: 8550 N 91st Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
The world’s best guitar (repair) shop is this place technically we call it in Phoenix. Tim will deny it, but he knows everything there is to know about everything. The newspaper printed an anecdote way back when he partnered up and left the best repair shop in Phoenix to open up Atomic: “Give him a tree and he can make you any guitar.” Now, there are no words to express the innovation he knows no bounds to. For example, most famous guitarists have the same tech with them for the tenure of their careers. Tim would be the equivalent of that. I play modified ESP neck thru guitars for which he is responsible for the modified portions. I have a gain switch for the EMG, an on/off switch for the sustainer, and a third switch that toggles between sustained notes or harmonics. The absolute best part of all of that is the alcove he created for multiple battery replacement! I think he should have a patent for that sort of thing? Anyways and lastly, aside from being able to build any guitar from scratch; excuse me, any ATOMIC guitar from scratch, he has worked with too many big named endorsed, contracted, touring, and famous bands to count.
Best luthier around. Fast friendly service with an abundance of knowledge.
Small but impressive guitar shop. Nice selection of after market parts and strings.
A great place to get a custom made guitar
You have been warned. They talked like they knew the product very well to build trust. They overpromised and underdelivered when I got my guitar back and still wanted to make excuses???, the work I asked for was clearly stated in the receipt.
The guy who answered the phone was a jerk. I took my guitar to someone else.
I bought a charvel jake e lee model that supposedly was built by someone at atomic guitars and it was the worst thing I’ve ever played, held or experienced. Everything about it was off from the neck pocket to the fingerboard and frets. I was told that it was built by the guys at atomic guitar and I hope that wasn’t the case at all.
I took a mid-level Martin to them with a crack. They humidified it to where the crack closed. They told me it was repaired but to be sure and keep it humidified. The fact is they humidified and the crack closed they didn’t do the repair but they charged me for it.
16. TRONIX SOUND MUSIC
Address: 2241 S Avenue A #13, Yuma, AZ 85364 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
I’ve been going to Boogie for 27 years and have always experienced great service. It’s a wonderful store specifically for bass players. The owner is never afraid to talk shop, help you out, and share his own opinions and experiences as he is a well seasoned bass player. Most recently, he helped me find the right set of pickups to breathe new life into my first bass; purchased from the one and only, Boogie Music. As a small shop that was triangulated by the big box music stores, Boogie has weathered the storm of competition by providing great service and taking care of musicians time and time again. I’ve had an opportunity to watch him interact with customers over the years and I can’t say that I’ve ever seen him attempt to upsale for the sake of profit or just to move product that he had in-house. The same can’t be said for those other stores. He truly wants you to be happy with your purchase. Other stores just want to sell you product.
It was again a very nice experience. My wife’s guitar needed new strings. Was completed on the spot. Perfect service. The guys in the shop know their stuff and do it right the first time!! Our go-to place!
Great gear, great attitude, great atmosphere = great shows!!! Turn it up….man!!! Cause your shop ROCKS!!!!!!
I got my first drum set from Boogie 20 years ago. They’ve been in business a long time! They have competitive pricing and a pretty good selection of great. I would suggest Boogie music over one of the larger chain music stores because of their competitive pricing, in-depth knowledge of their products, and quality customer server.
I just want to give smaller independent shops my business but selection is rather limited here. When I inquired about an item, they actually looked it up on the Sam Ash website and advised they can order it but 1) I’d have to wait until they do their next order, 2) it would cost more than at Sam Ash, Guitar Center, and Amazon and 3) I’d have to pay for shipping. Seriously, if that’s the way you can give me something you don’t have you’ve just GOT to know that’s a crappy deal for me. Just tell me to buy it elsewhere and that you hope you can help me with something else. They can’t seriously expect me to find that even remotely okay can they?
I have been renting a flute from Boogie music for my daughter for 3 years now. DON’T believe the 100% return on all rental fees towards purchase of a new instrument! There are loopholes for them. Not 100% of the fee you pay a month is the rental fee, roughly 2/3 is. They also only will give you this credit if you are purchasing a higher end instrument. I will have to rent a flute from them for 8 years to pay for the 1000 dollar flute they will give me the credit on. They have a much cheaper flute on their websight, but say it is not American made and that one will not count towards the credit.
While they do have repair facilities and will fix anything broken, they have not done any maintenance or cleaning on this flute in 3 years and when asked if they would, I was told bring it in and they will check it out, but no maintenance is needed.
This flute has been fine for her in grade school, but I will need to pay for it almost all the way through high school to get the trade in they will do. Just be careful make sure your child wants to play an instrument forever before getting into the contract if you want to be able to get any trade in credit.
Worst music store in Phoenix! Old man that works there has a bad attitude and lies about guitar prices! Definitely not going back there ever again!
500+ schecter guitar I wanted to trade in BRAND NEW. wanted to give me 200. Sam Ash offered to fix the floyd for 80. Sam ash thanks you for your business
Rude and condescending.
18. De-No Music Center
Address: 801 E Florence Blvd # B, Casa Grande, AZ 85122 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
Customer service great! Didn’t have a item so they ordered it
My guy got the guitar picks he needed here. I wish the sign was more visible from the street. I passed right by it and had to turn around. Oh well!
My experience at De-No Music Center was a blessing!! The people that work there are very professional and really are good people!!! Very friendly and care about their customers!!! I recommend De-No Music Center for all your music needs!!! They have a wide range of music and equipment for any event or music needs!!! Hallelujah Amen
All ways get good help
Came in for guitar picks and strings and was thinking of buying an acoustic guitar on the wall. I asked if I could play it he said “yes”. I played a couple chords and got kicked out for playing it to “hard”.
I’ve been there quite a few times before. As a child the owner was alright but somehow he just became rude after a while. There was a time when I was 19(9 years ago) and there was an 800 dollar Jackson on the wall that I really wanted. I brought $850 dollars with me and jammed out on it for about 5 minutes, the owner came up to me and said “If you put one scratch on this I’m going to make you pay for it, do you understand?” I know I look young and I looked about 15 at the time but there have been several times(like yesterday{let me play for 4 minutes and told my party to leave when I wanted to buy a practice amp}) that I brought money in to make a purchase of over 300 dollars and he makes me uncomfortable or says something rude. If you need a reed, or if you need a rental, this is a good place. If you’re a musician, and you want to try stuff out, drive 40 minutes, the owner has been rude to me for 15 years. I swear he hates musicians.
Went to buy a guitar but no assistance from the clerk was offered and large sign indicated you can’t touch them without assistance so we left. Makes it difficult to make a purchase. To be fair the clerk was waiting on another customer but just continued to ignore us and didn’t even bother to say “hello” when we entered the store. Not much available there in the way of instruments unless you need used amps, guitar stands, cheap guitars, or ukuleles.
19. Brindley’s Music Center
Address: 836 N Arizona Ave, Chandler, AZ 85225 , La Paz County , Arizona , United States
I brought my guitar in for a setup. It just didn’t sound right. Bruce found that I had the E and A strings switched. Ok, rookie mistake on my part. Anyway, the guitar didn’t need a setup thanks to Bruce.
Took my Jazzmaster in for a setup a few months ago, still holding up great! Super friendly and helpful staff with great work
Great place!
Took my bc rich warlock in to have it check out by the owner. Was told it was in good shape just needs intonation done. He said to bring it in when the strings wear out. while I was there I noticed they had a scheter omen-6 that just had a complete set up done. I have been looking at omen-6 extremes but I couldn’t pass up the price on it. Came in the next day pick it up with a stand. Plays smooth and sounds great. Couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience at brindleys!!!
It was very awesome service but milanos was cheaper books were 8.00 and care kits were10.00 and at brindleys it was almost 16.00 and for book it was 10
This place is cool. Ppl are nice. IN THE HOOD IM LIKE PRINCESS DIANNA!!!
-Ice Spice 687:927
Fix it for the most part. Still feels as if the instrument is leaking from somewhere on the lower register. Still hard to push low notes without struggle.
I had heard so many good things about this place from other musicians, so my S/O and I decided to try it out. We needed our guitars set up, mine electric, hers acoustic. When we brought the guitars in, we were given a sort of turned up nose treatment when we revealed our guitars. Mine a Purple Paul Reed Smith Custom 24, and hers an older blue Ibanez acoustic. Granted our guitars weren’t the most expensive, but we both loved them dearly (Mine was an anniversary present from her, and hers was her first guitar ever). I explained to the gentleman behind the counter what was going on with my guitar (Dead fret on the high E, also needing a full set up, action lowered, set up with 10’s.). My S/O explained that hers needed a set up as well. We handed over our guitars, and left with confidence.
A few days later we picked our guitars up, and went home to check them out. It. Was. Terrible. They raised the action on my PRS so high that it was almost unplayable, and the gentleman who did the set up said that he did so to get rid of the aforementioned dead fret, even though I gave express permission to do whatever was necessary to solve the issue while keeping the action LOW. That could have meant a level, crown, polish, replacement etc. Anything to keep the action low. My girlfriends acoustic buzzed so terribly on every single fret on the top three strings after we took it in, she has resorted to buying a brand new acoustic, because this place left hers unplayable. Now most people might say ”well if they messed up, take it back and have them fix it” but believe me when I say that when we saw the condition of our instruments, I would NEVER trust them in the hands of this place again. I really wanted to like this place, but after the treatment we and our instruments received, we’ll go elsewhere. Please stay away for your own good.
Terrible. The service is great but. 13 dollars for 1. 1 Bari sax size 3 Reed is way to expensive. I could get 5 for 30 on Amazon. That’s a amazing price. The sax repairs are way to expensive. 100 for a check up. When you Could go down the street to superstition mountain music and get everyone about 50% cheaper.
Expensive and poor service. took my beautiful holton Bb trumpet their to have the 2nd valve slide replaced. it is a standard mass produced turmpet, ans WAS worth about $650. it was beautiful with a sparkeling finish. they lost my order and it took 3 weeks when I called them to inquire about it. i was told $40 to fix the slide (found out later that part only cost $15) and it would take a week. they chem washed it, wich i said to not do and it RUINED my trumpet. it looks like crap, their is 3 dents in my bell where their weren’t any before and after i called at the 3 week point it still took another 2 for them to get around to fixing it. in the end, they ruined my finish, put the wroung part on, and dented my trumpet multiple times. O AND they expected me to pay $85 for it all. they chem washed it because they forgot to write down the repair needed and assumed it was a was, and they charged me for their mistake. Good at smooth talking but anyone can seem like they know what their saying. they were horrabile and unless you want to over pay and have your instrument ruined, dont go here. o and my sisted paid $1000 for a flute which was “new”…the saudering from when it was returned to them from the last owner broke in about a week and they repaired it wroung 3 times before they got it right where it broke again 3 days later.
