I wasn’t going to buy anything here, just perusing, and I ended up walking out with a set of 5-String Bass strings and a new Behringer Bass amp. Jessica is fantastic, very willing to help and they gave me a VERY reasonable price on the amp that was equal to internet pricing without pushing me to buy anything. I was there for over an hour making noise on different bass amps annoying everyone and they just smiled and helped me work through a new sound. Love this place and this Bass amp has been an AMAZING performer for me.
Super helpful
Great service really friendly customer service
Holy Cross hospital
Just a personal experience
Went to check this place out as I had never been inside. A male clerk saw us and asked us if we needed help and when we told him we had never been here and were just checking it out for future reference. He became super condescending towards us.
These people are CROOKS!!! Ive been djing for 10yrs and I went there to have my speakers looked at (i tested them before i dropped them off) and Mike the repair guy wants to tell me that they are blown. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? YOU THINK I DONT KNOW WHAT A BLOWN SPEAKER IS?!? PLUS I TESTED THEM BEFORE I BROUGHT THEM THERE!! They are lying money hungry thieves that prey on the ignorant. DO NOT SPEND A PENNY HERE!!!!!
I WENT IN THERE TO BUY A BASS AND THEY HAD A LITTLE ROOM WITH ALL THESE RED TAGS ON THE GUITARS AND BASSES “DO NOT TOUCH ASK FOR ASSISTANCE” SO I ASK IF I COULD TRY ONE OF THE BASSES AND THIS KID WITH A SNOTTY ATTITUDE LEANING OVER THE COUNTER GOES “ARE YOU GOING TO BUY IT FOR ME TO GO THROUGH THIS TROUBLE?” I SAID WELL I’D LIKE TO TRY IT FIRST. HE THEN HUFFS AND GET THE BASS DOWN. I WAS SO TURNED OFF BY THE HOLE STORE I JUST LEFT. DON’T GO IN THERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET TREATED WITH DISRESPECT AND RUDENESS.
I will never set foot in this place again. I don’t even know the employee’s name, but he has red hair and a tear drop tattoo on his face. He was extremely rude and unprofessional on multiple occasions. He also lied right to my face about how many lessons I’ve taken since I’ve been coming there for the last 4 months. Their instructor Hans is a nice guy and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the lessons I took from him but because of this other employee I will never go back.

Nice showroom, staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly, I’m in the market to purchase a electric guitar and the inventory was plentiful,,,,the guy I spoke to Mike <
Even pulled a couple out and played them so I could hear the difference between the models .
Awesome experience !
nice place for music players!
Not a huge fan of their customer service, but they habe what you need mostly. Musicians friend, their online counter part is way better, in my opinion.
Great selection of Guitars, etc. Long time in business & very knowledgeable staff.
Great products and great customer service.
Has brought wonderful years of Music by supplying music to us as well as serving our community.
Muy mal el servico
Most useless humans
Don’t know why they hired Steve in guitars. I have bowel movements that have better customer service. Steve is a pompous pony tailed idiot. The 80’s hair metal days are long gone, just like you should be bud.
4. BOBB’S Pianos & Organs
Address: 1583 N Military Trl A, West Palm Beach, FL 33409 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
Tim and his team provided excellent service from start to finish. Top quality instruments with personal attention and competitive pricing. Lance and piano moving team prompt and professional.
We bought a piano here a year and a half ago and we are satisfied with the one we bought. Good customer service. No sales push. On top of all that, they also offer free piano exchange.
Very rude man that came up to us. Went in there because we want to buy a piano but we were just looking right now and I told him that I was just looking and he just stands right in front us without saying for a few second then says “looking for what a refrigerator?” , didn’t even ask if we needed any assistance on what we were looking for or any sort of help.
You all know how frustrating sometime it came be going thru TSA inside the airport, or had you seen a sign written “restricted area, authorized to use deadly forces beyond this point”, in this place or at least dealing with this sales person you will not pass GO unless you show them you’re clear of $$.
I am looking for a Yamaha U3 used piano for my daughter, looking over the web and found this Bobb’s family own business, give them a call today see if they have any in stock before I go in, spoke to the sales person name Tim over the phone, (which I’m glad I call first no need to waste my time and gas drive to the store) instead of getting what I want to know, pretty much is the other way around, he ask who that for ? is this her first piano ? what’s the name of the instructor my daughter attend to ? do you know the u3 price range is around $5k ?
I told him is for my daughter yes is the first piano, my instructor only do private lesson and she came from over sea you wouldn’t really know her either, Tim replied: he in the business over 25 years knew over 40 instructor in south florida, and he might know her too, but since I don’t want to tell him is fine.. I’m think OF COURSE you have to be fine with that, I don’t need to tell you anything. Then he said : when are you ready to come see the piano ? HELLO!! you don’t even answer my first question ‘Do you have any u3 in stock ?? I wouldn’t be driving to a store without knowing if you have the piano.. he replied we might, I need to check the inventories first, but he sure he had U1 on the floor now, and repeatedly asking me again are you only looking for yamaha and have to be U3 ? also said you know U3 will cost you around $5K even they have in stock ?
At this point I’m fed up, he still haven’t tell me if he had the piano I’m looking for yet instead he start to figure my daughter experiences, Instructor info, if I can afford $5k ? I told him Yes I did my research I’m aware is around 4-5k and my budget is 6K, but now you just lose my business.
If you don’t have what customer looking for just simply tell them and be polite, not to dig into someone background and see if they can afford that is really rude.
I wouldn’t surprise if I go into the store he might ask my bank statement and how many asset I owned before I can actually see the piano, maybe this is how a family own business customer service ?
I don’t know about the others customers, myself I just bring my business else where. I really hope Tim is not part of the owner of this family business operation, because I don’t know how his attitude will last the business for the next generation taking over.
I will NOT recommend Bobb’s piano or at least NOT dealing with this sales person to ALL my friends and families.
Terriable experience, rude, ugly attitude, I brought my daughter in to look at baby grand, we had a budget in mind that I shared with sales person Brandon, apon arriving with my daughter he started to show her piano three times the price I asked for. So I tried to say something, he told me it was not my decision it was my 17 year daughters decision,!!! So I corrected him, Brandon then introduce us to his manager. Again I asked for piano under 10k, the manager got rude, arrogant and began telling what she should buy. So I began looking by myself, prices where posted, so I asked about a few pianos in my price range, the manager again told me I did not know anything about pianos so I should let my 17 year old daughters decide. At this point I had enough of the rude, ugly. So I told the manager he was rude, had no ears, and that I was not going to be hustled, he responded by saying I could go elsewhere. We did, and I bought a 10k piano in Ft Lauderdale.
I am happy to say I did not buy from these creeps, a sale they lost by being stupid. I hope the owner of this place reads some of these because the owner needs to replace the jerks he calls sales people.
5. AMP Shop & Music Parlor
Address: 776 S Congress Ave, West Palm Beach, FL 33406 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
Great Place And One of the Prettiest Women Ever Born !!!!
Amazing and warm customer service. Just genuinely nice people to work with, and by far the best set up I have had for my guitar. I highly recommend this shop
Hands down, the best place in Palm Beach County to get an instrument or piece of equipment repaired, or find a great consignment guitar, amp, pedal, microphone, recording gear, accessories you name it.
Good
This has been a reliable location for many years
Really nice folks but they weren’t able to fix an amp that another place fixed easily
Sold me an amp for $130 that they didn’t even check at half volume (cuts out) and called that “fully serviced” and couldn’t do anything for me when I complained bc I live out of state.
Closing early on a Friday during season? Bad business practice. Sitting outside your shop at 4:45pm. Call ahead or schedule an appointment with these guys

7. Mariachi Real 2000
Address: 1531 Drexel Rd Lote 28, West Palm Beach, FL 33417 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
Answered call and question right away! Went in and received quick and friendly customer service. Needed small repair and it was done immediately. Can tell owner loves what he does which is so rare these days. Will definitely return and recommend to others! Thanks again!
I went to Steve yesterday with a concern about a Gibson J200 purchased used, it had some intermittent problems that were driving me crazy and I didn’t know what to do.
Steve stopped what he was doing and spent almost an hour with me, evaluated the guitar, and advised me to return it for a refund. He could have easily taken the guitar in for a fairly expensive fix and made money, but instead he convinced me that the guitar would likely to continue to have problems down the road (which would have meant even more work/money for him) and that I should just walk away from it. I wanted to pay him for his time and expertise, but he refused, just waved it away…
I have been playing for 40 years, and have run into more than a few guys fixing guitars. Steve’s level of knowledge was outstanding – but more importantly, his CARING and his PASSION for the truth were at a level that is almost never seen these days. I am truly grateful to have found Steve, and look forward to having him care for my other guitars in the years to come.
Thank you Steve!
Steve is very professional and shared some interesting stories as he freely restrung my guitar. Many Blessings Steve and thank you again so very much.
12. Music Man
Address: 2309 N Dixie Hwy, West Palm Beach, FL 33407 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
My son is learning so much and progressing so much. The teachers are really great with kids and patient and engage them. My son is learning to play they are doing a great job teaching him. My child looks forward to going here and he practices at home. I am very pleased and highly recommend for anyone wanting to learn an instrument.
Great staff very helpful and professional.
My daughter plays the Clarinet – my son plays the Tenor Saxophone. In converting their rental to a purchase, Cindy was more than helpful.
In joining the school band, my kids initially rented to insure we wouldn’t be stuck with instruments should they change their mind or otherwise decide chorus might be a better fit. Later in the school year, I sought to convert the rental to a purchase. Looks like they were sticking with band.
I had some “numbers” in mind on what I was willing to pay on the rental to purchase conversion. When I called into the store, Cindy was polite and helpful. After talking with management, their final price was actually lower that the “number” I had in mind. I quickly paid by credit card and sealed the deal.
Great store for instrument rental.
Good variety of instruments and accessories. Helpful friendly staff. Good prices
They are good at what they do. They give you honest quotes for what might be needed.
Trash. Not in a good way.
I used to come here to have my instrument cleaned for years and will no longer be doing so. Repair shop is unwilling to accommodate professional musicians that are time sensitive. And no, I won’t be leaving my instrument that I make a living with with you for 7-10 days. That’s completely unacceptable. I even offer to pay extra for the rush. Insane. This would never happen in New York, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Dallas, or any city with pro music shops.
DO NOT GO HERE FOR STRING REPAIRS. Or, frankly, repairs in general. I have never in my life experienced such poor customer service. I originally brought my viola to the store in Port Saint Lucie to be repaired and was told that it had to be shipped to the West Palm Beach store where the actual repair shop was. Seemed reasonable enough at the time. But this store then held my viola for well over a month, and started constantly making excuses as to why I couldn’t have my viola. Not only that, but it was impossible to get ahold of anyone at the store by telephone. I called time and time again and left numerous messages, but I was rarely able to get in touch with anyone until I actually spoke with the repair person. First it was that I didn’t tell them how I wanted it repaired (I did. Twice.) Then it was that the repair person only works weekends (she herself told me that she would come in and fix it on a weekday if needed, but they didn’t seem to care about that), and then it was that they couldn’t ship it back to the Port Saint Lucie store. Then, finally, when I finally got them to ship it back, they did it LATE. It is well over a month later and I STILL do not have my viola because of the terrible customer service. I’ve missed over 10 lessons now because of this. DO NOT go here for string repairs; they are simply understaffed.
13. WEST PALM BEACH MARIACHI
Address: 1531 Drexel Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33417 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
They helped make my dad’s 80th birthday extra special. They are very talented and professional. Everyone in our party loved them.I highly recommend them.

14. Nana’s Voice & Piano Studio
Address: 1142 Imperial Lake Rd, West Palm Beach, FL 33413 , Lake Belvedere Estates , Florida , United States
My son began taking classes with Nana 9 months before his audition to Bak middle school of the Arts, not only he got accepted but he learned so much with her! If you are thinking about taking classes I totally recommend her. She is an amazing instructor that can teach people of different ages ans get the best out of them!
Ms.Morimoto is very dedicated and through her teaching you can see her love for music. She’s nice and patient, and just overall amazing!! Nana’s Voice & Piano Studio is the place to go!
I began working with Nana 3 years ago as an adult 1) intermediate level piano student restarting after a 30-year hiatus and 2) vocal student with no former solo vocal instruction but great interest in assessing my own vocal skills. I feel very fortunate to have located such a fine teacher and coach. Nana’s musicianship, teaching experience and professionalism is outstanding.
PIANO: At the start, Nana observed and assessed my piano performance level and discussed my personal goal to continue studying classical piano. We set preliminary goals and began my preference for weekly sessions which I felt would help keep me on track. We continue to work on the development of technical skills and musical aspects with levels of music that are interesting and challenging and continue to build my classical repertoire.
VOCAL: As a novice vocal student we started from the beginning. Nana has taught me the basics of breathing, breath control, musical accuracy (also for piano) and articulation. She uses the Bel canto method; with scale training, warmups and vocal selections I have been able to develop and expand my soprano range. She has made very appropriate short solo selections which are always challenging and enjoyable to learn.
As a performance artist herself, Nana is knowledgeable, experienced, and patient; she is able to clearly demonstrate and/or explain new techniques and concepts. She is very interested in serious music students and works diligently to prepare students for auditions to BAK and Dreyfoos School’s of The Performing Arts. She also works with long distance students in New York City and Japan and provides audition preparation and coaching via Skype.
Nana’s training with well known, celebrated musicians/teachers and her own professional career in piano performance and opera is of great value to serious, committed piano and vocal students.

I enjoy the open and friendly atmosphere. The employees were very help and i had a very pleasant experience my first time visiting. They got me set up and help me find resources to learn to play.
The staff are friendly and helpful
Mixed feelings. Scott was friendly and helpful on the phone. Unfortunately, when I arrived, someone else helped me. I was in town from California, and I had 1 gig. Normally, I wouldn’t do this, but the venue suggested I ask the store to loan me a tablet mount for 1 day. The clerk’s response was comical! “Um, we don’t loan tablet mooounts…you can return it.” LOL At checkout, knowing this was no longer Chafin Music, I said, “Hey! There is a Music And Arts where I live in (town name). That’s in Southern California.” Her response, “Oh.”
I asked for a bag, and for some reason, that’s when she smiled. She said, “Absolutely!” And she gave me a bag that was too small to comfortably hold the product. It was actually problematic for me because I was walking.
There was no choice of tablet mounts. It worked fine, but I found it awkward. I finally did get to see Scott when I returned the item 5 days later. That was a smooth and friendly transaction.
They had what i need. A little pricey on a few items, but closer than guitar center
These people are a bunch of crooks that are over charging customers. They are nothing like Chafin Music which was a Staple in Lakeworth. Chafin is missed because they served this community with Care, Integrity and transparency. I rented a used no name trumpet that I have been paying for over 2 years when I try to pay it off I was told I owe over a thousand dollars! Music and Arts need to be cancelled and reported to BBB.
the lessons itself were good, but I signed up for a one month trial in December to see if I liked it (guitar lessons), and after 2 lessons I realized I was too busy to continue. The issue was the store kept charging me for lesson in January without my permission, just a hassle to deal with and now they are trying to collect on lessons which I did not sign up for or attend.
Very disappointed that this is no longer Chafin Music. They are now a big box store. I called to see if they would take a guitar as a trade-in but they’re not Chaffin and no longer offer that kind of customer service. I brought my first guitar from Chafin seven years ago.Sure gonna miss that small town charm…
