This place has something for everyone! And with AMAZING prices! The owners are always really nice and personable as well and you can always call and ask if they have anything specific you might be looking for.
Great antique/military surplus store that now sells guns and ammo. Owners are very friendly, and good to talk to.
I seem to find something every time I go in! Prices aren’t ridiculous.
Considering this is first an antique store, they also have a very good selection of Mil-Surp gear and a decent selection of firearms. The customer service has been outstanding.
This is a smaller shop with a good mixture of items that you don’t find anywhere else. This is part antique store and part army surplus.
I haven’t been here since the new owner took over. Can’t say how good it is now.
Don’t know what happened but this place isn’t the same. As soon as I walked in I knew something was wrong. There’s nothing to look at. It’s quite depressing it was an awesome place to go.
Was at this location on December 28th and the new owner had just taken possession of the property that week. At this time there wasn’t much merchandise to peruse but the owner assured new dealers would be setting up at this location soon. Due to the large amount of other shops in surrounding area, I’m sure this shop will flurish in the future. I will return to determine if it will become one of my usual visit listing.
3. Rick’s Relics on 66
Address: 116 N Water St, Wilmington, IL 60481 , Lakewood Shores , Illinois , United States
Rick’s Relics has a wide variety of items… something for everyone. He has a HUGE collection of records, musical instruments and beer signs. Really look around when you go and you might find something you have to take home
There’s a couple of good antique stores on this stretch of road, but this one is the best. A broad selection of well-curated picks, including an impressive selection of glassware. You can tell there was a lot of care that went into putting it together. A must-see if you’re in the area
I need to go back. Plenty to dig through. Very reasonable. Rick the owner is a awesome guy. Crows Nest sign.!

What an iconic store in the Route 66. While you’re browsing, find the cat to pet her.
Wow how did you know I went there? Jesus Christ
We love going to this store. Friendly and we always find something for the house, they have a really good mix of items. If your in the area it’s definitely a good stop.
Nice shop with lots of things to explore. Definitely enjoyed browsing and stretching the legs for a minute. Very clean and everything was clearly marked. There was also a wide range of items to check out.
Tons of things to look at and it’s changing all the time! Prices are fair. Has new and old merchandise. Can walk through store 3 times and still see different stuff!!!
This one I didn’t particularly care for. There wasn’t as much inside as I would have expected and it was a 50/50 mix of older treasures and modern age garbage. I did find a few things that peaked my interest until you realized the seller was asking 100% above market value. Probably won’t be back to this one.
I’ve shopped here before and loved it — was excited to stop by again. Sign on the door “recommended” masks but people behind the counter and some shoppers were not wearing them. We left. I love antiques, but come on friends. COVID19 is real. If you’re not requiring masks, we aren’t staying.
I would shop at your establishment if I didn’t see “PRITZKER SUCKS” signs!✌VITE 4 JOE
Antiques??? More Garage Sale Items. Only Antique I saw was an 1879 Morgan Silver Dollar!

Eclecticism collection of toys, smalls, and other artifacts. Browsed the store while exploring the town.
This is the best antique store you will ever visit!!! Love this place so much!!
Great place for collections
Great large antique furniture.. No one was around so felt free to look as long as I wanted. Good reasonably priced goods.
Nice place with so much to look at. From furniture to smalls, dishes, oil lamps, jewelry and more. Come see this place along with many other shops on the same street.
Just average.

Met the most wonderful people, so big, so many amazing things to see. Even had the sweetest dog greeter.
You can get plenty of stuff here from your childhood. I recommend coming here and looking around.
Love strolling around. Always purchase
Fun place
Awesome great antiques great prices sales and people.
Friendly staff. So many rooms, got a little confused at first. Understand the need for that layout. Great place to explore. Bathrooms for customers.
Very very very slow spent hours on line
Shop here a lot and was so glad they survived the pandemic. Employees were kind but the owner was very crotchety. We had a party of 4 of us and had been shopping for 45 minutes, when he approached us without a mask and demanded us to have a mask. He and his employees had NO mask but he was demanding we put one on! We ended up leaving the store. He wouldn’t let us shop even though he wasn’t following his own rules. I love the Wilmington shops and always shop local! I wish his people who sell in his building knew what he was doing .
They showed a price, but when I got there it was more than double.
10. Dollar General
Address: 107 W Kahler Rd, Wilmington, IL 60481 , Lakewood Shores , Illinois , United States
Nice little store. Limited selections but decent prices
I don’t know what happened to this store. It’s like going in a rummage sale. I decided I’ll be shopping at DG a town over. Convenient or not the store is a mess
They got alot
Good deals
Almost half the people going in the store did not have masks on and they don’t do nothing about it. Then they wonder why the pandemic is getting worse
Young sales representative yelled at my elderly grandmother
Very rude employees, messy store. We went to their clearance event, unorganized, merchandise is not priced.

A really neat vintage shop with plenty of cool items for sale, as well as nice pieces of small furniture. Everything is priced right, and it won’t take long to find something you need for your home.
Wonderful place with a great atmosphere. Excellent quality and pricing. I could get look in admiring all the blasts from the past. I found just what was looking for an will definitely coming back.
Stoped in to check things out
Lots of stuff. Decent prices.
Fun going Through the store’s

12. Midlothian Music
Address: 15645 S 94th Ave, Orland Park, IL 60462 , Lakewood Shores , Illinois , United States
This outfit TRULY cares about their customers. They have incredible communication, ship very fast, their prices are very competitive. They respond to questions within minutes and answer directly and expediently. I had an issue with the guitar I bought (not an issue they could control) and they worked their butts off to make things right and get a replacement out to me. They made a stressful situation as painless as possible. I can’t recommend Midlothian Music enough!
I have been taking lessons from Keith for the past year. I’m learning a lot and having so much fun. I just bought a Fender Stratocaster and it sounds excellent! I look forward to going their each week.
Always have what I need and wide selection I aways have came here for trumpet oil and it always a nice affordable price.
I love all the products but at times the service was bad, other visits there were good service. Thanks!
The owner was outraged when i returned a crappy guitar I bought. He even started yelling when i did not purchase a different one….
John Lekavich advised me to do business over the phone and outside of Reverb.com so that he could avoid their fees and I would not be charged taxes. The T5 he assured me was brand new has a broken saddle and is not brand new as advertised.
I have called all week and sent him several emails with pics of the broken saddle; he has not replied. John has not conducted himself as an adult nor a professional, and I do not recommend doing business with him nor Midlothian Music.
Went to purchase a Swart amp. Was told I could not use the washroom after driving for 1hr. Needless to say I didn’t buy anything. NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY!
