Pleasure to do buisness with, well organized and timely
Great folks great service very quick quality merchandise at a good price even compared to the big chain stores have done business with them and will continue
Great customer service
There was no customer service. My husband was interested in a gun. The price was never given and they never offered to let him take a look at it. They better get their A game on. We are going to give them a run for their money in the gun and hunting industry. They are way over priced. What they had no idea of is he is an ffl dealer and would have most likely bought all their good used inventory.
Ricky Dink business. Pain to deal with. Just go elsewhere.
3. Artisphere Vintage Marketplace
Address: 348 Washington St, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Soap Creek marina has cabins that offers everything. Even though it is still open, the current public health crisis has taken toll on so many places like this. Soap Creek looks like the kind of place that a couple looking for a romantic weekend would enjoy. A family looking for new memories will find the ambiance just right. You can rent cabins, drive your RV or pitch a tent. Walking trails, boating, or bring your own. There is a restaurant and a small supply store. We are hoping that by late spring or summer, we will be able to enjoy a truly remarkable recreation facility. No place is ever perfect, but it has everything we need for a getaway. Check it out for yourself and decide if it’s for you.
Poor service
There is only 2 tables occupied when we got there. Was put by the door for the patio. Hot air and bugs coming in the whole time. Asked to be moved but by then the other tables were taken. All of our good was cold ( ordered before the big groups) charged us $5.60 for sauce for our wings ( we didn’t get anything when they brought them out. ) it was 2 of our birthdays so ruined our night of celebration
Music was great. Food was not so good eat before you get there.
5. Lancaster Music Co
Address: 195 Pearl Nix Pkwy # 7, Gainesville, GA 30501 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
What a pleasure to do business with Lancaster Music Company in Gainesville, GA. The staff are very friendly and courteous, and their prices can’t be beat for the quality Yamaha instruments they sell. This is my second time doing business with them, and it was just as friendly and courteous as my first purchase. A+!
Un servicio a cliente muy amable
I bought guitar strings and a tuner for my boyfriend the lady helped me to find the guitar strings I needed and showed me how to use the tuner so I could show my boyfriend but It didn’t come with the instructions so that sucked and I felt like since I wasn’t spending too much money they really didn’t want to bother with me and the place was empty other than me there but the store is kinda fancy and and not to much to look at not very inviting for most people a bit too fancy kind of intimidating for a lot of people and when I walked in the first thing you see is a bunch of pianos which made me think it was just a piano shop but they do have other thing there but a huge supply. All in all I got what I needed just felt a little uncomfortable and out of place.
Pianos, guitars, study books, score books, accessories. Friendly staff.
Nice store but they DON’T take American Express
Extremely narrow minded selection of instruments. If you play anything besides piano or high school band instruments you will be looked at with disdain. If you do play those instruments, I hope you like Yamaha because that’s your only choice.
I felt a racial divide. I was cordial and respectful when I entered the place. I played for them, the piano and sang to them and even bought something from them. They called the police on me and I was not arrested. I did not disrespect anyone nor did I hard an instrument. I sat in the police car in cuffs and then was released without a problem. I plan to take them to court.
Nathan is someone who you truly enjoy doing business with. He was prompt, on time, and kept me informed along the way. He spent a couple hours with my piano and restored it so that it sounds amazing! I will definitely recommend and use this company for any piano neeeds that may arise.
Nathan showed up at my door promptly at the appointment time, confirmed what work was needed and discussed fees before starting work. Super nice dude! Gotta give him extra points for taking off his shoes when he entered!! Most service workers just walk right on in… I love that he noticed that small detail and just did it without me asking! I will definitely have him back in December for maintenance!!! Nathan also answered my questions and even gave me some tips. He worked really hard for over 2 hours to get my old piano that probably hasn’t been tuned in over 6-8 years and now it plays beautifully! Can’t wait to get my daughter to start her piano lessons on it!
A true craftsman of his trade. Very prompt, professional, friendly, and very knowledgeable about his craft. Brought an old piano back to life and made a whole family excited about playing again. For any and all piano needs, look no further than here. Worth every penny and then some.
7. Musician’s Warehouse
Address: 245 N Lumpkin St, Athens, GA 30601 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Great selection of string instruments and great employees
I love Musicians Warehouse! Huge guitar selection, great prices, locally owned and right in the heart of Athens!
Fun store with very helpful staff!
Pretty good shop if you are in Athens. Much better selection of gear than their competitors in the area.
Professional assistance provided.
Very nice store but not a great variety of guitars
Poor selection. If you like grandpa guitars this is the place. Wouldnt recomend to any modern guitar players.
Really wanted to like this company. I was cheated and conned, and after a week with zero communication I contacted them. They fumbled around for another day or two then stated they couldn’t find the item. I was left empty handed and confused. No attempt at finding the item or ordering another. Nothing. Zip. C’mon guys!
Dude I’m not sure what happened. The first floor is desolate (empty for everybody that’s currently reading this while dunk). I understand social distancing, but I’m I am attending Warehouse, I do not care about the current situation, I’m here to rave. Open the first floor for a mosh pit.

Loved everything and everyone. The nicest place to go and you couldn’t ask for better people. ❤ Especially little JOE and LIZZY.
This is an amazing Homeplace. It is spiritually special. As far as handicapped parking, entrances. It is an open field .
Great bluegrass festival.
9. The Musical Express
Address: 231 Furys Ferry Rd #216, Augusta, GA 30907 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
One of the best Piano Studios in Augusta, GA. Temeka Davis and her teachers truly keep the students’ learning experiences educational and fun. If you want your kids to become a part of THE MUSICAL EXPRESS, then you have a great music-making journey ahead of you and your family! All you have to do is find the Facebook page.
This place is wonderful. My boys have learned so much and now think piano is fun thanks to Miss Temeka and Miss Rebekah.
My children have taken piano, chorus, and summer camp at the musical express. I am amazed at how well my children play piano. They are apart of Georgia Piano Guild, take piano testing and perform in recitals. Ms. Tameka is an excellent piano and chorus instructor. They can not only play but also read music. The skills from music lessons have helped them with reading, math, eye hand coordination, sports, and patience. Highly recommend. This is a must.
10. Town Center Music
Address: 4072 Suwanee Dam Rd NW, Suwanee, GA 30024 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Good customer service, very knowledgeable. Carries quality products (not necessarily name brand). Fair pricing and a great rewards system ($10 coupon for every $100 spent). Will definitely be back, would recommend.
Great job working on my Martin GPC Special – sounds amazing, livelier than factory setup, with same warm Martin tone. John Michael and Dustin were top notch, in both suggestions and workmanship.
Julian was very helpful. My son was in heaven hanging out for a few and trying out a new bass and some pedals. Will definitely be going back in the future!
Good
Much better store I not been here in a while the past manager was not a music guy or a manger known as a air head I will be back
Taught my kids to play guitar
AVOID AVIOD
High prices not helpful run by a guy who looks 40 and still in a garage band no music
background not open late any place better then here. Manger is clueless.
Went in there a couple days ago. Not a huge fan. Workers aren’t very pleasant people and they come up to you every 10 minutes kind of giving you the hint to leave if you’re not gonna buy anything like you’re in there too long.
Great for beginners I guess. Don’t come in here expecting higher quality equipment and experience. Name of their game is to hook beginners onto cheap equipment (which is totally fine) and get you out. No hanging out in there jamming for an extended time.
Maybe I came in on a bad day.
Not where u want to shop you find poorly trained staff and not music people I shopped here off and on for years . just not good pepole
11. Turner’s Keyboards
Address: 2358 Washington Rd, Augusta, GA 30904 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Very happy with the service as always. There was a small issue with the move that was handled promptly, openly, and thoroughly to my satisfaction. I really trust them.
I recently went into Turner’s Keyboards in Augusta, GA to play different pianos. I fell in love with a Steinway B grand piano. Eric Campbell and Lisa Turner Maddox helped me negotiate the purchase of this fine instrument. Included in the deal was a trade-in of my Bechstein grand piano. Both Eric and Lisa came to my home and examined my piano and made the swap work. I am grateful to both of them and the piano movers who did a great job rearranging the pianos in my living room.
Mr Campbell was so helpful when we were choosing a piano for our daughter. The service was amazing from the very first phone call, the showroom floor, the sweet smiles, even the delivery. The 2 men who delivered our piano were very very cautious and were so sweet as well. Watching our daughter walk around and pick between the 2 pianos that she liked was so enjoyable. Thank you Mr Campbell for your experience and knowledge. You made our piano shopping experience, an enjoyable one.
My visit was very insightful and productive
Good family business. Been in Augusta along time.
Friendly.
You want pushy sales go here
12. Hootenanny’s Music
Address: 572 Maddox Dr, East Ellijay, GA 30540 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Ran by a very nice lady. Spacious and well organized.
Always helpful good prices
Great people
Fun music jam!
They’ve got a good selection of drums, guitars & other musical instruments & they even buy used instruments!!
Went here purely to find an acoustic to put my fingers on while I was on vacation… had 3 electrics because I’m recording on the way back home… but wanted an acoustix… but tbh I had a hard time finding something I could justify. I was looking for a throwaway type instrument but one that didn’t lose intonation when fretting an 11th fret for example, due to string action. Found one I almost bought but decided not to… the only section I was semi into was the very few in the back right side of the building where there was a strat, tele, LP (cant Remember), Martin acoustic….all of which were appropriately priced. None of which were at such a deal I just had to get it… was easy to walk away.
13. Bill Hardin Music
Address: 4661 Chambers Rd, Macon, GA 31206 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Fantastic service! From the time I called to inquire on repair services to when I went to pick up my kids clarinet. Thank you! I honestly called a closer place but the kid on the phone was rude so I chose to drive further and I’m glad that I did. Thanks again, Happy Holidays
Great service and selection.
On this site hours are 10am to 5pm. Get over here at 4:45 and they are closed!
Manager is the worst kind of human being. Do not shop here. Would never go there again.
The store seems OK at first glance, but I had a question about sales tax, and the associate (Drew) didn’t know the answer. The manager wasn’t in, so I asked the associate to take my name and number. He flatly refused. I was flabbergasted. I called later and spoke to the manager who didn’t seem to care very much. I went back later in the week. Drew’s still around. I recommend you spend your money elsewhere.
14. Back Paddle Brewing
Address: 3472 Bethany Church Rd, Lincolnton, GA 30817 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Great food, Great atmosphere, Wonderful staff. I recommend
Great food, good service, and great place to relax and enjoy time with friends.
Great place, staff and owners are friendly and the drinks are INCREDIBLE!
Great atmosphere and great beer.
Great beer tasting! Food is limited
Nice atmosphere good music choices played
They honor public servants with a discount
We saw nine beer choices, what we were served was palatable
Had pretzel bites typical but sauce was good.
All I have to say is this place is disgusting. Red solo cups filled with condiments, bottled water and bland tasting beer. Our waitress was rude and not knowledgeable about any of the beer that they supposedly brewed on site. When we ordered our food we watched the “cooks” not wear any gloves or hair nets and one was wearing tank top shirt, while assembling our appetizers. We got our waitresses attention and questioned her about them not wearing gloves. We told her that we did not want any of our meal/appetizers because it is a health issue. The kitchen staff still did not put on any of the aforementioned health and safety items. Also, note that the health department score was not posted anywhere in the establishment.
Great food and friendly service!
So when we arrived we were told there was a 20 minute wait, cool. We went to the bar ordered drinks while we waited only for once a table cleared for a man who just walked in to be sat at it before us, the lack of communication between the staff about who is waiting in what order. We were expected to wait until the next available table, we declined and decided to go elsewhere. We drove from Augusta to eat here and to do trivia night only to end up going to Willie mac’s where the service was so much better. Please work on a system to better accommodate the patrons.
15. Big Frog Music Co
Address: 577 E Main St # A, Blue Ridge, GA 30513 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
COOLEST STORE IN BLUE RIDGE!! Cindi is awesome and has a lot of insight on music, and the store has lots of good stuff:) will be sure to come back soon!!!
Cool place
Modest selection of used and some new vinyl. Not discounted, but owned by husband and wife, so at least it isn’t corporate. Like most vinyl shops, the hours can be somewhat flexible, give them an hour leeway on the opening side.
Had a decent selection of vinyls to choose from and a very nice worker that helped us choose our music! It was almost all classic rock though so more variety would have been nice.
As a visitor to the mountain region of Georgia I enjoyed a stroll along Main Street in Blue Ridge including a visit to Big Frog Music. I explained to the proprietor that as an Englishman I would like some recommendations for bluegrass music. He was more than friendly and helpful playing examples of suggested albums. I bought a Lonesome River Band cd and have enjoyed it ever since.
Prices were a big nope. Unless your willing to pay $40 or more for a new record, look elsewhere. Even the used records were $15 or more.
Call before you try and go, the hours are somewhat nebulous
Horrible experience! Man behind counter was very unprofessional. I will never go back!
16. Canton Music Shoppe
Address: 149 Reinhardt College Pkwy #11, Canton, GA 30114 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Knowledgeable and friendly service. Got some electronics work done by Brennan and I’m very happy with the results
Canton Music Shoppe is one of my favorite places to spend time. I have been taking my granddaughter there for over a year for piano and voice lessons. This ultimately sparked her interest in music and as of late she also took up the ukulele. All of the teachers are outstanding and wonderful with children, as my granddaughter began lessons when she was five. This type of atmosphere can only take place when provided by the people who manage the day to day climate. Eric and Adam are those such employees. They will spend as much time with you to meet your needs, whatever those may be. They are both friendly and engaging and make you feel at home. The atmosphere is stellar!
Great music shop! Excellent selection and super knowledgeable staff. Brought in a guitar that needed some love and they knocked it out of the park. Highly recommend this business.
Great staff. Very friendly. Prices were great!
I bid 4000.00 on a Gibson Gold Top guitar listed at 4,999.00 . They countered my offer with 5,299.00?? I’ve never heard of anything like this.
The store counter to my offer was more than the original price?? That’s so wrong. Hoof luck dealing with these guys.
Customer service said it all as I walked out and heard the guy comment to another store employee that people who can’t play will blame the guitar. If my playing was the problem, he could have been the solution in helping me figure that out instead of being snide, patronizing and rude, or at least he could have waited until I was gone. Needless to say, this long time customer will go elsewhere in the future. UPDATE: I went to Guitar Center in Kennesaw where my son and I were listened to and treated respectfully. We were thoroughly assisted with patience and great advice; bought a new guitar and perfect traveling case. Will definitely continue to shop there even though it’s a bit of a drive.
Very greedy business tactics. I’ve purchased from this store for the last time.
17. Donley’s Music
Address: 5080 Hickory Flat Hwy, Canton, GA 30115 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
The owner and staff of Donley’s Music are extremely knowledgeable and always helpful. My three children played in their school bands. Donley’s matched them with appropriate instruments when they began and as they advanced, as well as maintaining and repairing the instruments at reasonable prices.
I always go to Donley’s first for instruments, related material, and information. On the rare occasion when they can’t provide what we are looking for, they know reliable people who can.
Nice people and good prices
They were very nice.
Donley’s , always, customer service above par but their repair tech did not mirror Donley’s reputation AT ALL. MY 9YR old niece offered to try a repair. I will probably get the same visual “quality” result BUT WOULD SAVE $100.
Very friendly.
Horrible, shady business practices! I got home with a mandolin I bought and noticed a pickguard had been attached and removed, leaving small holes in the neck and body of the instrument. I was told over the phone there was hardly a scratch and the instrument was in near mint condition. They flat-out lied. This depreciates the value of the mandolin almost completely. They knew this was the case, and just plain deceived me. Sure, I should have inspected it before I left, but I don’t expect people dealing with musical instruments to be shady the way they are. I’m extremely disappointed and appalled that people in the music industry act like this when so many good people are involved with music. why can people not just treat others how they want to be treated?
Very nice people at first, but I feel that I was treated well when I went to consign my items. I wasn’t called when they were sold, I wasn’t consulted when they lowered the price of my items, and when to collect my money, I saw on the receipt to pay me more than I was given. Dave is a very nice guy, I’m sure all the teachers are great, but I wouldn’t try to consign anything through them again.
I tried to buy ernie ball regular slinkys and they put ernie ball super slinkys in my bag while I wasn’t paying attention. Poor selection of accessorys.
18. Music Masters
Address: 1806 Russell Pkwy Ste 700, Warner Robins, GA 31088 , Lincoln County , Georgia , United States
Great place to find anything music related!
Foster is a musical genius
Very friendly and knowledgeable
Great deals, great service. It’s always nice to have a local, hometown music store for that personal touch. Lessons are also available. Wish there was a bigger selection there, though–go buy some stuff there so they can afford more space! 🙂
Nice music shop. We are pleased with a kid friendly guitar lessons taught by Mr. Mike.
Update:Feb 2022. Still attending lessons and my child has taken a liking to guitar. His finger placement has gotten better and knowing the proper strings for several chords.
Went in to get some supplies for taking care of a trumpet. They didnt have a huge variety but they did gave neat grab and go packs. They did, however, have a huge selection of guitars, ukuleles and other strings as well as a few brass and woodwinds.
Over priced
Courteous & friendly but I wouldn’t take an amp there for repair. I was told that I’d get a call with the diagnosis. 2 weeks later I called only to be told they haven’t been able to find anyone willing to work on it. It clearly states on their website that they repair both tube & solid state amplifiers? I’m a little preplexed..
Horrible customer service. My dad and I went into the store. The gentleman who answered our question was more eager to talk with the other non paying people in the store. Maybe a bad day? I know I won’t go back.
