Brian helped me visualize my voice from an anatomical perspective that I’ve never been able to imagine before. Not only did I walk out of the lesson more knowledgeable about the science behind singing, but my range felts stronger than ever! Definitely continuing with him until my performance in September!
Fantastic teachers and ownership! Keep up the amazing work!
Some of the high points: Lloyd makes videos for you of new strums, techniques, and patterns which you can review at home while you practice – so good! Lloyd is able to quickly assess your level of playing so that he can guide you swiftly and effortlessly. Lloyd introduces one or two new techniques (and nuances) to songs to enhance your playing and make you sound like a pro. Lloyd also sends you songs in between sessions that he thinks you may be interested in. Lloyd is well organized in his approach and you will learn some music theory along the way.

Address: 13718 W Marshall Ave, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
The employees were very helpful and knowledgeable on all the instruments. I bought my first ukulele there and the person that helped was very good at trying to get me the best price. 5/5 would recommend
NIce store and studios. The gal working there is very nice, but isn’t so familar with their products and services, otherwise I’d give it a five star rating.
Three stars. There’s not enough supplies for a beginning tenor saxophonist. I’m sure my rating will be higher once the supply chain situation improves.
Needed to pick up some guitar picks. Entered the store with no greeting. The gentleman was helping a customer. No big deal. I looked around for what I needed and found it. Waited to patiently to ourchases. The guy was trying to sell a small electric quitar that apparently wasn’t functioning. Thankfully I didn’t have any questions and could easily go somewhere else. Which is what I did and recommended you do as well.
Old head must can’t hear himself so he scream talks. UGH. 2 stars for Chris, he was AWESOME 🙂
went in one day and had a guy that was just starring at people coming in, store was empty, i didn’t stay for long because of how uncomfortable it was, especially with how quite it was in the store so it made it extra awkward, i couldn’t shop around without the uncomfortable feeling of someone just standing there and starring
4. Redbox
Address: 13012 W Indian School Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Excellent packaging of my record purchase and impressive service! Looking forward to checking out the website in the future for more great albums! The locals are lucky, I’ll have to settle for shopping from a distance.
Cool little shop with some nice picks, staff is nice and friendly to have conversation. Went in with my mom and there was stuff we both liked and not just one selection. Cool hangout spot to go to:)
Small store but dam does it feel cool to have a record store Goodyear, also has a good variety of records
No customer service. Better prices at Walmart and Amazon. Small store and small collection. It’s not worth going to just to be ignored by staff. It is a nice place to escape the heat though. AC works well
6. Redbox
Address: 5007 N Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
It’s a typical Redbox! They have slowly been increasing the prices of there movies and games. However overall way better then Blockbuster, and for the fact you can rent in one location and drop of in another is awesome.
Outdoor box is in a poor location. Direct sun makes keys & drape hot to use & glare on screen must be shielded just to see it.
7. Ground Control Craft Food & Drink
Address: 4860 N Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Fun place great beers. Pizza was yummy and service was swift.
Love the atmosphere and beer variety
The Cabo breakfast burrito is where it’s at! So delicious
Great alcohol selection and delicious food, but the service is VERY slow.
Probably the best beer and wine selection in the west valley. A huge favorite.
This is a great local place for Monday night trivia and a local craft beer. The wood fired pizzas are very good, wings are tasty too. Sweet potato fries are a plus along with the grilled chicken sandwich and black bean burger. Salads are decent and can make them into a wrap if requested…i sub out the fried chicken for the grilled chicken. Ambiance is similar to a low key sports bar. Call ahead to ensure they can stream desired game. Less preferred for me is the Cabo breakfast wrap, thought it had too much bacon (didn’t think this could be a thing but….Somehow it happened)
Came in to try their coffee this morning. When I walked in, there was only one other person waiting. It took five minutes for the barista to acknowledge my presence. Got my drink order, and I waited, and waited….and waited. When I thought the barista was making the other person’s drink that was also waiting….and waiting…it was a few drinks for his neighbors. Then another maybe 8 minutes goes by and finally th person waiting before me gets his drink. I waited another five minutes for my iced Americano. During this time, a co worker walks in and proceeds to get her drink ahead of mine. I used to be a barista. It does not take 15 minutes to make four drinks. Crazy customer service. People’s time is valuable. Maybe take that into consideration?
Takeout order messed up. Will never order from here again.
Nope, nope, nope! One of the biggest waste of money in the area. Big selection of craft beer, but nothing simple like a blonde. Maybe a drink instead? Not a single bottle of recognizable top shelf gin or vodka. Ordered Mac and cheese egg rolls since an order came by that looked good. Ours came and were so burnt that the cheese inside dried up. When I was a server years ago, this order would have gone in the trash. Pizza was just OK. Woman next to us was waiting 20 minutes after calling an order in and was told another 20 minutes. Two waitresses were trying but overwhelmed. Heard they were good for breakfast burritos, but don’t bother at dinnertime. And… it is summertime… snowbirds are not here. We wasted $70. Don’t make the same mistake.

Powerline, My New Addictions first single is a mixture between a Green day and new school Metallica and maybe a little 30 seconds to Mars. Although singer Izzy Haze has yet to reach his desired voice, he makes out with what he has and I believe that is true talent. Bassist Nelson Benitez showcases his skill at playing the bass in the first single and other unreleased tracks. Drummer Wyatt Hanes has been drumming since age 5, and it really shows with the fantastic drumming in single, Powerline. Lead guitarist, Bryson Ray has been playing the guitar since a young age. At a young age, Bryson, didn’t have a computer. But he did have a iPod and was inspired to play guitar after hearing thrash-metal band Metallica’s hit, Fade to Black. After all, with all the limitless talent the band has, the only thing holding them back is a couple studio sessions and good producing.
Great store that always has good variety of household items and furniture.
Many of the goodwill stores I’ve been to have a much better selection of items. this location has the same old items sitting on the shelves, week after week, month after month.
same stuff different location
Dirty, over priced junk. Used to be a good store. Pride is all gone, now.
Horrible they double charged me they said that my debit card don’t wen tru but it showed me double transaction charged on my app. Dint get a refund.
The store smelled of cat urine and was completely disgusting. I can tell the items have NOT been washed and with 8 employees walking around it definitely should have more than 1 check out open or at least just be more clean. Everything was overpriced. Absolutely ridiculous and will never return here again. I would rate this place a 0 if I could.
12. DVDXpress Kiosk @ Bashas’ Supermarket
Address: 5115 N Dysart Rd Ste 150, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
The seafood fondue is by far my favorite appetizer on the menu. If you like seafood in a rich and creamy sauce..this dish is for you.
Great food family atmosphere
Our first time here the waiter was a little flakey and took his time to attend to us. I order an espresso and he told us it took so long because no one knew how to work the machine. That being said, it did not taste good and I would have rather been told no one knew how to use it when I ordered it instead of paying for a burnt drink. The food was good but we are really into atmosphere. Maybe we will try the bar next time…
Good food, good price, good service..
I recently moved here from PA not too far away from Philadelphia. I ordered a cheesesteak and it was very flavorful and just right amount of everything. Wings, now that’s how they’re made! The right consistency of sauce, good tasting sauce and perfectly made but they totally missed on the blue cheese. From an east coaster, wings are served with delicious homemade blue cheese not ranch dressing.
Food is good and atmosphere is ok, like a local diner. But what I really dislike about this place is that they will not take same-day reservations. Even for large parties. We have been forced to stand outside on the sidewalk for an hour to get seated. So they have lost my business. Won’t go back since there are plenty of good options who take reservations
Parking: Parking is terrible as they share a strip mall lot with several other businesses. Difficult to find an open space and must walk a fair distance, which is difficult for my elderly mother
Day time is always good. Food is prepared properly and delicious. Night time is lousy.. Food is either correct or real bad. My calzone (I asked for it to be cooked well) came out ice cold in the insides. My server took it back and the cooks put it in the microwave. Now it is a molten spong. Could not even cut.
No manager came by. Stick with the day crew!
Almost everyone’s food was watery and tasted subpar. The server was good though.
14. Teacup Boba
Address: 13000 W Indian School Rd A-14, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Staff is very friendly and the store was extremely clean!! Bought my daughter the blue milk at the recommendation of another customer. She LOVED it! We will be back.
The service is very good, the place is really clean, ad the drinks are super delicious with fresh boba. They also don’t have one thousand and five hundred flavors to choose from. Quality over quantity
Best Milk tea EVER! Added extra Boba amd that was the cherry on top
The Mangonada was different and the people there are nice af.
Sea salt jasmine was not as good as the Avalanche, but their Mangonada is excellent according to my son.
U must go here
I don’t like to leave bad reviews… and I am probably
Spoiled from really good milk tea from SF… ordered the black milk tea, simple drink and hard to mess up, taste was… okay except it tasted extremely watered down. The person taking our order had no knowledge of drinks when we were asking questions which seems weird since they don’t offer that many drinks shouldn’t you know what the “ special” drink has in it?
I guess for Arizona standards this is considered to be good…. Hmm…
This is the second time we tried this place, thought maybe the first time was a fluke. But unfortunately it seems to be the norm. The girl working has a bralette on working with her long hair all down. Super unprofessional and the drinks were just not made well… I want to like this place but maybe if I was the owner I’d change up my staff and re do the menu.
🙁
Place was super cute, but was very disappointed by how my drinks were made. The drinks seemed rushly made and looked completely differnt from what pictures advertised. Had asked for a piña colada and received a drink that only tasted like coconut. Then we asked for our drink to be fixed and the taste was very good and actually tasted like pineapple. In the pictures it showes before and after . The left photo is after they fixed the pina colada, right photo is what I was originally given.
I also ordered a pink milk strawberry with boba, which came out nothing like what the picture looked like. The drink did not have any strawberry flavor or boba. Was very disappointed by these employees work.
15. Lazy Palm Sports Grill
Address: 76 N Old Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Great place, muscles are a meal unto themselves….whole bowl full!
Good food, smells moldy inside bar though, which gives a good dive bar feel, but I was trying to eat, not go blind from cheap booze..
Awesome food. Very slow service
Cold beer
The only reason this gets one star is because the front of the house staff are rock stars. We waited an hour for a burger and a wrap, neither were worth the wait, but the burger was dry and over cooked. The kitchen was clearly in the weeds and the manager on the floor had no control. The three servers made the best of a crappy situation; and I believe they deserve some major kudos.
Didnt get to try anything here. Because coward Brett the bar tender decided someone in our group was too inebriated to be served. Guy literally got off work showered drove to my house we ubered here first to start off with food. 1000% sober. But there is a silver lining. Lazy palms was nearly empty. And there is a great Mexican food restaurant right next door! Great food great beer great service!!! Watched 4 other groups leave lazy palms and come over. A group of 5 people all over 50 we’re discussing “hospitality” Brett from lazy palms not wanting to serve someone in thier group either!!!! Sad situation. Hope they close doors soon and a respectable establishment moves in soon. And good for nothing Brett is put back into his safe place flipping burgers again in no time. Won’t recommend this place to anyone, as a matter of fact would encourage anyone going out for a good time to avoid this rain cloud that may put a hamper on you night
Waited 20 minutes with tables open for someone to talk to us. 30 total minutes for a drink and a menu. No apology. Went somewhere else to eat. Won’t be back
16. Desert Reign Medspa
Address: 13000 W Indian School Rd suite A2, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Great staff, great atmosphere, and great experience. Would highly recommend!
Justine was amazing!! She answered all of my questions and concerns.
I go to Natalie for everything from Botox to acupuncture/cupping/ back adjustment and she is hands down the best. She is so knowledgeable and just amazing at what she does.
Friendly and professional
This Dr. Sent a lab to our home, he mixed up the blood samples and she was supposed to set up another lab for our blood draw, she made excuses after excuses and never followed through. 550. Dollars later and absolutely zero communication after the empty promises of I’ll reschedule you. We paid all money up front! DO NOT TRUST THIS SO CALLED DR. SHE WILL SMILE TO YOUR FACE AS SHE ROBS YOU!
I was really excited to book a service here and unfortunately I had such a horrible experience. I called in just asking basic questions and wanting to schedule a facial and who ever answered the phone COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE RUDE and unprofessional! They literally wouldn’t let me make an appointment and when I hung up I started crying honestly I don’t know what I did to deserve this treatment. I don’t know if the person on the other end was just having a bad day or what but I won’t be booking here and will be telling my many friends to stay away.
I’m saddened by Dr. Natalie posting fatphobic content, capitalizing off of insecurity, and making money from body-shaming. I will never in good conscience be able to support a business that encourages customers to hate themselves in the hopes that it drives business.
17. Sam Ash Music Stores
Address: 4402 W Cactus Rd, Glendale, AZ 85304 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
I hadn’t been to Sam Ash in almost 20 years. Back then, GC was a better operation and closer to me. I have grown to dislike GC, so I decided to check out Sam Ash. It’s definitely a different vibe than GC. I’ve been going there once a week just to play their selection of acoustic guitars and talk guitars to staff and other customers. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They have a nice selection in store and online. It’s my new go-to store even though it’s 20 miles further than GC. It’s definitely worth a visit if you are a musician or looking to start playing an instrument.
Fun store pretty good selection of guitars.
Was there about an hour with family looking around an was ignored by staff the whole time.
Staff is very knowledgeable about their products and friendly
Update to prior my review: The manger called about the terrible experience we had at the store previously which was appreciated. We decided to give them another shot. We had a great experience working with Sam on Saturday. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. He made our buying process super easy. Here’s hoping they continue to work on improving their customer service!
Ok I am honestly not one to complain about about things at all. I work in customer service myself. I came in to get some headphones and the guy at the entrance was super cool and said I will get someone over to you in a bit. No one came around so I walked the store to check out the gear, even still got no one to ask if I was looking for something. I get it if stores can at times be short staffed and slammed… But there was me and one other customer in the store who was playing guitar on the other side. And when I finally got the initial guy came up to me
again at the front I had already made my purchase choice and headed to the front to be met by a very melancholic cashier girl who was not happy to be there that day. I definitely was not expecting such a lame experience. But I’ll still go back. Store was nice and clean and had lots of stuff.
Went to Sam Ash to buy a $1600 used guitar. Couldn’t even try it out because of beginner guitarists cranking Nirvana almost as loud as the amps would go. No one at Samash asked them to turn down. This continued for well over an hour.
My review is for Sam Ash online, not a brick and mortar store.
I tried to order online as a guest and their website kept giving me error codes that I couldn’t make any sense out of, so I was forced to make an account and order it. After ordering they have a popup on screen that says you’ve received a $100 dollar gift just fill out this survey, me…thinking this was a reputable company, clicked on it and filled out the survey. It’s for magazines, $100 dollars for magazines that they will no doubt keep sending to you for the rest of your life demanding money. Apparently Sam Ash attended the survey monkey school of business, stay classy. That was my first red flag.
Then…they charged me TWICE in pre-authorizations, leaving it there for the weekend like it’s no big deal. So I called them to get an idea of what is going on. Their customer service is HORRIBLE. One guy on the phone just pretended like I was full of it and their live chat Xed out before I was finished. They really just didn’t give a damn. They kept saying, “we only show one charge,” and I kept saying “well my bank shows two”. Eventually I called my bank and they said there isn’t anything we can do until monday, if and when they eventually charge it. Who knows, they certainly don’t.
I don’t know about everyone else but my experience with pre-authorizations is that they are usually a fraction of the cost of the item purchased and even so they only last a day at the most. Not so with Sam Ash, I’ve got other bills to pay and now this means that my account is pretty much depleted until monday, wasting my entire weekend. Thanks alot. The bad customer service after that is just a slap in the face. You couldn’t pay ME to order anything from these guys again. Even though what I bought was a great deal, doesn’t matter that much if the rest of your website and customer service is absolutely horrendous.
UPDATE: So, as if everything else weren’t bad enough. I ordered my item on Friday at 9 or 10 am, they didn’t get it sent to FedEx till 5:30pm on Saturday. Over 24 hours and even then I’m still charged twice on my account.
18. Tap Savvy
Address: 13000 W Indian School Rd suite a-6, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Happy you guys opened your second location though. The cider and #3 were great.
This place is the best!! Cold and tasty craft beers on tap. They serve wine and mead if beer isn’t your thing. Also a great selection of goodies in the cooler to take home or drink in the tap room.
Cool spot, free games, atmosphere was nice
The beer choice was nice but the music was more than inappropriate. I can’t see myself coming back despite my initial excitement for this place.
4 because I thought they had a menu, however they did have a quesidilla….beer choice draft and go is awesome!
Great place, Great beer and a huge selection of beer and a great place to chill
Disappointed cave at 828, closed. It says open till 10. Not sure why their closed. I have been to the one in Avondale, thought I’d try this one
19. Staggs Park
Address: 300 Old Litchfield Rd, Litchfield Park, AZ 85340 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
This is a nice park. Probably the safest park in the country. Its right next to a police station. Baseball feild. Walking trail. Community pool. Pickle board courts.Tennis courts. Skate park. Wanted to cycle in there but no bikes allowed. I didn’t see any bathrooms…I’ll have to look next time and report backater…
It could use outlets
There’s nothing special about this park but I like coming to this one because the playground area is well shaded.
Besides the playground and swings, there’s a single baseball diamond with an infield that’s losing its battle with the outfield, a large grassy field usually used for soccer, a couple of covered picnic tables, and a bathroom that functions like an outhouse.
Across the street there’s some better scenery at the lake.
20. Atomic Guitar Works
Address: 8550 N 91st Ave, Peoria, AZ 85345 , Litchfield Park , Arizona , United States
Highly recommended! I am beyond happy with Atomic Guitar Works! Tim is amazing. He has set up at least 6 guitars for me. Several were because the first place I took them to messed them up! I will ONLY take my guitars to Atomic guitar works from now on. I wish I had gone there sooner, they would have been done correctly the first time.
Their reputation proceeds anything I have to say. However, my experience with Tim exceeded all expectations.
A great place to get a custom made guitar
You have been warned. They talked like they knew the product very well to build trust. They overpromised and underdelivered when I got my guitar back and still wanted to make excuses???, the work I asked for was clearly stated in the receipt.
Small but impressive guitar shop. Nice selection of after market parts and strings.
I took a mid-level Martin to them with a crack. They humidified it to where the crack closed. They told me it was repaired but to be sure and keep it humidified. The fact is they humidified and the crack closed they didn’t do the repair but they charged me for it.
The guy who answered the phone was a jerk. I took my guitar to someone else.
Just got off the phone with one the associates here. Arrogant and unhelpful.
