This guy is unlike anyone at any music shop..opened up when he was closed to show me the perfect gift for my wife..gave me all the accessories I needed to go with it, then told me to take it home..asked for nothing!!! Then later worked out a trade for an old amp I was no longer using anyway..She was delighted with the gift, and hardly puts it down! I got a really heavy old amp out of my way..The Ukulele is very high quality and just beautiful! I couldn’t be happier with my first experience, and meeting Top Hat. I will be going there for everything I need from here on out!! Thank you so much!

This place is so stocked with everything under the sun you can’t even walk around it. I was so claustrophobic while in this store I had to leave while everyone finished shopping for their overpriced junk souvenirs. Its a good place if you like paying way too much for something just to say you were there.
They only have Gulf Shores merchandise. Have to go to the store in Orange Beach for anything that says that.

It was so crowded at 8:10 pm, that we had to wait in line to get in. Very few people were wearing masks. We rushed around getting our groceries and found the checkout lines backed up down the aisles. Not much social distancing…..so we left without anything.
Only had self checkout. Not one checker. Line way too long.
Order one item online. Received txt message item ready for pickup. Waited 40 mins in car bay for handoff.

This wonderful family owned and operated small business saved our vacation! My wife broke her foot about 6 weeks before our scheduled trip and could not put any weight on her foot at all while it healed post surgery. I sent an mail to Peach Power Rentals and they set me up with a beach wheelchair for three days. The customer service was fantastic. They delivered right to our condo the night we arrived and picked it up the day we left. We even had a small problem with the first chair and they brought over a second one that worked perfectly. Cannot recommend this company highly enough!!!
I’m not sure what’s going on with the guy who gave this business a one star review. He must have left a review for the wrong business. My experience with Kayla, Stacy, and Tim was top notch! Very kind and responsive.

I can’t say enough great things about this company. I just returned from the beach & used this company that is open yr round, unlike other rental places. The rate was very affordable & the new owners were fantastic. If I ever need to rent ANYTHING again, it will be through them.

Giving this establishment three stars because of a few hiccups with our rental. Stacy was nice and did meet me on the ferry to retrieve the manual wheelchair I rented (because an electric wheelchair was not an option since I was staying on dauphin island). So she was able to bring a manual wheelchair to the ferry but not a electric one???However, she failed to inform me that it needed to be back by 9am to avoid being charged for the whole day. I returned at 11:30 so consequently I paid $50 for an entire day. This would have been nice to know because we would have kept and used for that day. I felt that this was poor customer service. So in the end I paid $300 to push a huge wheelchair on the beach which was almost an impossible task so don’t rent a manual wheelchair not worth it and make sure to return by 9.
The power chair didn’t work exactly as we had hoped but Stacey was quick to refund us some of the money and swap the power chair out for a push style chair. And surprisingly the push chair wasn’t that hard to maneuver out in the sand. Great service to have for those that are in need of it.
If I could give this zero stars I would. I rented a chair from them for my sister who recently had back surgery so she could see her kids play on the beach. The reservations process was easy and they were accommodating on that part. We went and picked up the chair, and when we got it to the beach it would barely drive on the sand. We had to have some guys help us get it out there. We stayed on the beach for two hours and got ready to leave and it wouldn’t go at all. We called the company who was super rude and condescending and tried to “help” us get it started. After moving some wires around and pushing a button we got it to start just long enoug to get halfway off the beach before having to be pushed the rest of the way. We went to drop it off and not only could we not get it to start, but neither could the employees. No refund offered, no help, my dad had to push it into their warehouse. Total waste of money. The life guard on the beach was super friendly and gave her a ride back to the car when it went dead. Total waste of money. The idea is obviously perfect but definitely not the company I would go through again.
Have rented two times previously from this company and had a good experience. Jules andary have always been good to deal with.This time was terrible. I had four wheelchairs in five days and I could’ve asked for a replacement for the fourth one /I just got so frustrated I fave up. Mary did refund me one rental day,The chairs with black tires got stuck all the time Unless the sand was packed.One of the chairs wouldn’t turn left all of them have poor taste battery life.

This is the best coffee shop. It has such a welcoming atmosphere. It’s very clean, the staff are super nice. It’s located upstairs inside Pier 33. If your close stop on in for a freshly made donut, they also have Bagels. Coffee! Coffee! Coffee!

Coffee had an off taste. Cold brew was really bad. Didn’t have a smooth taste, left a bad aftertaste of bitter bad coffee. The turtle latte isn’t on the menu anymore but they made it for me anyway. Although they didn’t have whip cream, or pecan espresso, or toasted pecans to put on top. Basically a chocolate and caramel latte. It was actually really good.
Asked for the sweetest lattes they could make for my mother in law and younger brother, and was made white chocolate mochas. They weren’t sweet at all.
Got 4 coffees, paid over 30 dollars, and only drank the 1 turtle latte that isn’t even on their menu anymore. Needless to say, it was a 1 and done kind of experience.

I agree it’s cute and such but for someone looking for an amazing cup of coffee their beans just arnt that good. Latte just tasted like milk. I was very disappointed.
Came in an hour before close and get to the counter with my friend. We have everything placed on the counter and separated for the man. He comes around the counter and shoves everything back rudely. We explained we separated that for a reason. His reply is even more absurd by saying what do you want me to take off then! It just got quiet. I then said being from Illinois and being my first time in this store, this is crazy. He says nothing and gives me my change. Worst customer service ever!!!
While i do love shopping at family dollar i seem to always never seem to get all of the items i purchased into my bags. Upon going back into store to see if they possibly put it away for me- they have no idea where the items went..Maybe the customee behind me got the items.
Anyway .its happened before.

Super cute gift shop for Gulf Shores. The lady who was working there was super nice, but the merchandise was super expensive, so I didn’t end up buying anything.
Hid a geocache here. Invested a good amount of $$ in the hide to make their place stand out. Gave them my contact info in case anything was to happen… no phone call that it was removed and thrown away by their maintenance crew. Had to find out from another geocacher. Have a huge event happening in Feb with 1,000 people coming. Was hoping to send a bunch of foot traffic and business their way. Clearly they don’t want it.
What a great gem my daughter and I stumbled upon. They had the cutest items in this store and a wide variety of selection. The best part of our shopping experience was Jane. She was so incredibly sweet and we actually ended up buying the ginger snaps because she took the time to explain how it worked. She was so patient and kind. We are so glad we found this place. I work here, so I am a little biased. BUT, we pride ourselves on customer service and doing whatever it takes to ensure our customers have the best shopping experience possible. We have a lenient return policy that benefits locals and tourists, alike. We play great music!! And we always have a smiling face waiting for you! We have new owners since March 1st and they are turning the place around. When the store used to be strictly high-end merchandise, we are moving more towards affordable fashions for everyone! Of course, we still have the staples you love from our store, Vera Bradley, Kate Spade, Lily Pulitzer, and Free People! Come visit us, you won’t be disappointed!!!

Not family friendly at all! This was our second time, as I wanted to give it another chance. The first time me and my husband and kids were looking around and my smallest picked up a cup and the girl came up QUICKLY to tell him to put it down. I immediately got upset because he was just looking, I was standing righr there, and she was very rude. This time was on Sun. Oct. 1st, 2023 and my son was skipping to show me something he was so excited about and the girl behind the counter said very loudly “Don’t run!”
He wasn’t. My oldest son went back and told his step dad what happened and he came in and confronted the lady behind the counter ane she said “I told him to stop running.” I understand having some sort of order in your store but there is a kind way of doing it. When you crush every kids soul that comes through (read previous reviews to see that this isnt the only complaint)This makes a shopping experience miserable. My husband told her to not worry about what our kids pick up because if, by chance, they DID break something we would pay for it. Things were overpriced. Service was rude. I won’t be back. And we had enough in mind to buy that could’ve paid her employees paycheck.Their loss! Don’t even bother any feedback because you were hateful, I seen the rude looks towards others and myself and children. And your made up only apology is an automatic fake response. I don’t know how you make it in business, honestly. I guess the people that pay your bills are just as bitter as you and your employees! Birds of a feather
Not a family friendly store. My daughters were shopping as I sat outside on a bench. The salesperson was extremely rude to them making comments to her coworker about the lack of parental supervision. When I went back and asked if my children were misbehaving she said no but they were trying on shoes that were not age appropriate. Not southern hospitality at its finest. Kids are people too. It is not ok to be a jerk just because you are an adult.

when we first arrived at our home we noticed trash and such underneath the house apparently vagabonds were making good use of this place apparently while the house wasnt being checked on.
When contacting the office to alert them of the situation we were told a maintenance person would be there to take care of all the debris, that was not the case. We waited for hours for them to clean and we ended up doing it our selves. Another interesting piece is the neighbors on both sides of us came to us to warn us that vagabonds had indeed been camping out there underneath and showering, we were also told that Anchor vacations was alerted to this. According to Anchor of course they say they were not alerted, but Im inclined to believe the neighbors afterall there was trash and showering items stating apparently someone was utilizing said underneath.
When I called to express how I felt about this, I was only given a $40.00 cleaning refund.
So this goes without saying this is my first and last time booking with Anchor. My feeling is had they checked on this place before we got there they would of seen the mess an hurried an cleaned it up, it states to me that they really dont care about the properties. I would venture to say that today unless someone else alerts them that vagabonds our indeed camping out there they are not the wiser. We felt very unsafe at the Happy Clam.
Good place do deal with
We rented a house from them that had the A/C unit out and the house was 93 degrees inside. The house also had many issues that were conveniently left out of the pictures – bathtubs had mildew and refrigerator was stained and dented. They sent an A/C repairman to fix it and he said the A/C was shot, but he patched it temporarily.
We had a 3 mo. with us, that we were concerned about and the heat index was 110 all week we were there. They ultimately moved us to a new house, of there choosing, but attempted to force us to move back upon our objection that we did not feel the house was safe for us to stay in because of the A/C and the extreme heat and the danger it could pose to our daughter if it went out as the A/C man said it could. Also, we were not excited to be dealing with the situation throughout our entire vacation.
I mentioned that they moved us, but it was to a more expensive house, which they chose. We just asked to be moved. They attempted to force us to move, or pay the additional price. We said that was not what we were comfortable with and that we’d use our trip insurance or ask for a refund. Their response was to show us the rental agreement that said A/C is not guaranteed and would not be eligible for a refund or insurance.
The employees who we talked to always said it was not their decision but someone named “Donna”. We never were able to talk to Donna, even though they said she was the owner. We requested several times and were told she would call us, but the employees would call us back.
They were borderline harassing us about this and ultimately, quit harassing us when they charged my card for an additional balance I did not authorize. It was an absolute mess of a trip because of them and I do not recommend them at all.
They just cancelled my reservation, now with 8 weeks until my reservation. They tryed to help by offering a more expensive play to stay. And they really could have tried by offering some type of discount for my troubles. I would look elsewhere before renting through anchor vacations!
The lady who handles booking is very rude! We were trying to book for an available rental, then when we called she said that she couldnt accommodate are needs. But, she told us through several emails that she would be able too…We never had this issue with other property managements.We will never use them or refer this management to anyone…We are frequent renters too!!They need to fire the booking agent for lack of knowledge!
