The best music store! Staff is helpful and knowledgeable about the instruments. They have great prices. The best place for your musical needs.

3. Starbucks
Address: 787 6th St, Little Rock, AR 72099 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
Two very sweet lady’s made our drinks and they were delicious, best service i’ve ever had at a Starbucks.
Starbucks is everything..
Always love this place! Employees are kind and knowledgeable 🙂
Good spot for coffee. Always friendly.
Usually never has anything available. But otherwise okay.
The music is no longer background music when I have to talk over it to order
Always out of everything
It’s awkward when the staff looks at you while you wait 10 minutes past the time they were supposed to open without acknowledging it. The good news is, that got my blood pumping so much I no longer needed the coffee which is why this gets 2 stars instead of 1.
Slow and can’t get an order right. Ask for no whip cream and you get whip cream.
4. H22 Music Store
Address: 1105 Burman Dr, Jacksonville, AR 72076 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
5. Airman’s Attic & Thrift Shop
Address: Bldg 864, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
I got so much stuff lol I had to force myself to leave.
This is my happy place!!!
Love shopping in there
I always manage to find a bunch of bargains every time I stop here. Primarily looking for collectibles but they have a good selection of recent bestsellers in the book department. Great place for good clean clothing also.
Money goes to a good cause, they have good hours, and staff was friendly. The store was much smaller than other base thrift stores I’ve been to, and prices seemed high on household items.
This thrift shop isn’t opened to the public. It’s only for military personnel and family.
If someone affiliated with this shop sees this review I hope they will make it clear to the public that they aren’t welcome here.
6. Redbox
Address: 787 6th St, Little Rock, AR 72099 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
Great for getting awards and replacing broken plaques, and or trophies. A good location for getting awards that are not just military related, but for sports and special occasions!
Great people and Great work.
Great place for someone that’s a DIY kind of guy or gal that like to work on their vehicle but needs a garage with all the tools and shop gear that you don’t have yourself and a extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff. You can’t best the price to rent a stall. I just replaced my trucks fan clutch. The dealer quoted $1200 to do the job. I thought that was a bit high, so I decided to do it and more myself. I bought the replacement fan clutch, oil, oil filter, air filter, interior filter, and fuel filter for about $500 and in just 5 short hours work I was able to change out everything myself and it only cost me $35 to rent the shop stall. I will be back, and I recommend the LRAFB base shop to you for a place for you to use to work on your vehicles.
Received a going away plaque from my shop made by this place and it turned out very bad, edges aren’t smooth, wood is chipped, and emblems aren’t even and look wonky. I went back to try and get things fixed and smoothed out to look nicer and turned it in, I come to pick it up on Monday after they said it would be done the Friday before and they haven’t even touched it, it had been sitting there for more than a week. The supervisor comes in and long story short tells me there’s nothing they can do to fix their product they should’ve fixed before giving it to the customer and that if I want it fixed I’d have to pay $70 for a new one. TLDR; go somewhere else
10. CD Rom Discoveries
Address: 601 N 1st St, Jacksonville, AR 72076 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
I am extremely picky with my instruments, and I completely trust Renown Music to work on my guitars. Excellent service! Will definitely use again!
Brandon is a genius! Done magical things with my guitars!
Don’t let anybody else touch your guitar. This spot is Arkansas’ top spot for instrument repair and music lessons!!!! Would have gave 100 stars if I could have!!
14. Saied Music Company
Address: 2921 Lakewood Village Dr, North Little Rock, AR 72116 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
The staff is excellent. Great place to have guitar repair and set up. The guitar tech goes beyond the call of duty to make sure everything is working perfectly.
Very knowledgeable staff. Good prices and decent selection. Had a custom order for an amp not in stock and had zero issues. Made some new friends while I was at it. Highly recommend.
Staff is knowledgeable and helpful
More of a piano shop. Only a few ele8 guitars, but those few were brands i wasnt familiar with, however they did all play great. And the price range was very fair.
Speaking of price, i believe they have to lowest priced guitar strings anywhere within 75 miles.
Good variety. Little bit of everything
In and out. Didn’t stay long. However, they had what I wanted and no one in the area complained about the half Naked Trucker with a guitar in the parking lot zoning out in his own world.
A few months ago, I visited Saied Music’s North Little Rock location to look into used flutes (online flutes are too hit-or-miss, I discovered, so I wanted to be able to try one before buying). Not wanting to spend a small fortune on an instrument I wasn’t sure I’d stick with, I figured used would be a safe bet.
The gentleman who was working that day showed me a Jupiter flute that had a price tag of $380 or $385 (I just distinctly remember it being in the $380 range). It had a head joint with a gold-plated lip plate that I found rather garish, but for the price, I was willing to consider it once I tried it and realized it played fairly easily. So, I went home to think on it, but I ultimately put off getting a flute for awhile.
Yesterday, I returned, and lo and behold, they had the same flute still in stock. However, this time a different guy brought it out, and the price had been removed, leaving only a partial green tag with some text on it. The man made a fairly loud show of talking to the other guy, who had originally showed it to me the first time I saw it, saying that, since it had a green tag, he could sell it for below the “book price.” He thumbed through a binder, ran his finger down a list of prices, and landed on $480. Then, he quoted me $450, saying that price was $30 below list.
I immediately thought of the scene in Legally Blonde when the clothing boutique worker pulls a tag off a dress from last season and tries to sell it to Elle for a huge mark-up, believing her to be too uninformed to know any better.
I closed the case without taking another look, then left the store without saying another word.
I lost all trust in Saied Music in that instant, and I will not return.
Not very much guitar stuff. Didn’t even have strap studs.
The absolute worst store ive ever been in will not be back
15. Martin’s Piano & Electronics Service
Address: 9851 Brockington Rd Ste 9, Sherwood, AR 72120 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
I have always had a great experience with this instrument repair service. Friendly staff and quality repair is just a basic reason why I give this place 5 stars. If I ever need an instrument repair, I would first go to Independent and trust them with their services. If you want to spend your money on getting your instrument repaired, please use Independent!
Robert does magnificent brass work.
Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and helpful. Took excellent care of my daughters flute, went over regular and preventative care, and backs up their work with a warranty. I wish I had found this place sooner.
Very helpful and informative
Did excellent work on my old trombone, very nice people!
I came in with a horn to have repairs done to it. I needed to have my saxophone’s neck recorked. I needed additional repairs, but above all needed the recorking. The repairman came up, looked at the instrument brand and said he could do nothing for me because if he broke something, he would have to make a part. I thanked him and walked out. I thought by the ratings that this would be a location with skilled craftsmen, but instead feel like it’s people prone to mistakes so they can only work on standard brands and not all instruments. I’d consider calling before coming. They are the only place around for quite a distance and driving over 60 miles to be treated like this felt very awful!
19. Commissary, Little Rock AFB
Address: Bldg 790 East 6th Street, Little Rock AFB, AR 72099 , Little Rock Air Force Base , Arkansas , United States
I always prefer the commissary to anyplace else. Good selection and the prices are great.
Great prices on meat and they have a diverse selection of grocery items. It’d be great if they paid their baggers though.
Out of stock on a lot of stuff this month?
Routine grocery shopping, good selections fair prices
over priced and out dated foods. Sucks now the BX took over!
Thanks Congress for defunding our commissaries.

The Brass decided to take a full service grocery store that served everybody and turned it into a mom and pop convenience store. It’s a continuation of turning one of the premiere exercise golf courses and making it into tall grass fields serving no one. Some people sit behind desks too long and come up with stupid ideas. Then nobody dare steak up because they are out ranked. They took away a grand exercise venue, then service to the active and vets. Shame.
I believe the 1st shirt standing guard needs to ease up was told by someone in front i could go ahead she decides to correct me tell me to go back of line 1st of all its the self check out which means we do everything show a little respect and ask what is happening before assuming
20. Hangar 1080

I love the hanger. The beer is so inexpensive and the food is good. Try it out. Its great.
Clean, friendly staff.
Enjoyed a beautiful retirement ceremony. The staff was professional and very helpful. Beautiful historical photos displayed around the club.
First time here. Food was decent, but the server Kelli got my order mixed up with the gentleman behind me. Beer was $4 for an alright sized glass of Miller. Would probably come back, but that’s only because I’m on meal card.
The last two times my husband and I have been here were for ufc events. Now it isnt their fault that the fights were boring, but it IS their fault that it took them 40 minutes to bring us our food both times.
The food is so good! Unfortunately the server Kelli was horrible. I went to eat with my husband and he ordered a water and she told him “when you need more water just get up and go around the corner by the kitchen and get it yourself “ the place was empty ! There was absolutely no reason why she couldn’t go and get it if tha was her job! I asked her for a box and as she walked away she rolled her eyes at me. Then I give her my cat card and she asks if they messed up on my name bc it looked like two last names on my card. yes I have two last names and no it is none of your business on how it’s spelled or put on my car card . I did not appreciate her crappy service at all. If you’re going to eat here take it to go!
Food is alright but the service is slow so don’t plan on getting your food for about an hour.
