Nice, clean storefront. Don’t encourage the six feet apart with customers. Staff was quick with my food and asked if I needed condiments. Polite and generous
Mercedes perez le Gusta Mc Donalds porque da todo calientito
Not that clean
Fried were old and cold we thought them away two large size the cokes had very little ice and the coke was flat watered down and cool not cold the burgers were slammed together burger patties slammed in, half way off pickles 4 in the middle stacked catsup and mustered all Over outside the bun it was a fail we rescued the burgers just out of hunger…it’s never been THAT bad before.

I love this place, he always has what I need and know the answer to what ever I ask. I drive outta town because of that. Always well worth the trip.
Can’t speak for the instrument prices, but the piano lessons have been great!
Bought a Huntington four string bass and it’s a great sounding bass, also got a gig bag with the store logo on it
All at a good affordable price
I’ll give them 4 I haven’t had the time to talk to the owner yet. What I do know they have a great selection of guitars. And have just about anything else you may want. I’ll get to you after I talk to the owner.
Maybe I’m hard on this type of store, if you are a beginner at an instrument this is ok as you grow you expect more. Off brand music gear at name brand prices, you should go to bakers or guitar center.

Employee was very friendly and knowledgeable on instruments. Very happy with this place.
Great place to rent instruments! Nice people, nice instrument selection, nice pricing.
Very helpful product info
Good service and good prices
Very helpful.
I’ve been dealing with Hendrickson’s music since 1962.
I had a piano moved by Hendrickson’s and paid for tuning as well. The piano move went fine, but they never completed the tuning which was supposed to be done at the same time. After multiple attempts to connect with Clyde–nothing. Don’t work with this business. So unprofessional and frankly, unethical. I expect more from a long-standing business like this, but based on some of the other reviews here, I probably should have known better.
Does not seem too concerned in regards to blocking public sidewalk for pedestrians especially to handicapped individuals in our community.
Lots of overpriced instruments and accessories do your research on whatever you want before buying from here chances are that they are way more overpriced here than elsewhere

Very friendly place and helpful staff
Really nice store I come here for everything that i need Jorge and Carlos always treat me really good! Love this place!
Went in looking to get some drumsticks and guitar strings. They were very short with me. They didn’t have 2b sticks in stock. Tried to pass off other sticks as 2b’s. They also didnt have the guitar strings I wanted in stock. Never once did they offer to order anything for me either. I have always gone to smaller shops, this one unfortunately tries to run like a big box store without the inventory or customer service to back it up
No public restroom. Cash only lessons.
The one tall mexican dude will only take you seriously if you’re a hotshot player with massive money. he seemed uninterested in talking to me and said “we only do serious inquiries only” when i wanted to try out one of the basses. do not go here unless you want to be treated condescendingly or with apathy. not to mention that i told him that i am an experienced bassist and knew what i was doing when i was trying out the bass and he still said “don’t scratch the bass with your jacket zipper” as if i don’t know how to handle instruments properly. he was also quick to dismiss any other concerns i had about some problems i’m having with a bass amp i have at home. gottschalk has friendlier staff in spite of having less variety of basses.

They gave me a great deal on a guitar and the staff were very helpful and polite.
Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. My go-to music shop in the area.
Best music shop you’ll find as far North as Sacramento and as far South as Fresno. Good people that work hard to make it easy for you. Big thumbs up to Elliott and Jay, they deserve raises for being so helpful
This shop seems more suited towards young band geeks, and there’s literally nothing wrong with that. I was a band geek, too. I’m a middle aged man that likes playing loud metal guitar on cool looking guitars. They’re great for common supplies and beginner instruments and amps. Very friendly and helpful staffas well. I didn’t inquire while I was there recently, but years back, they had an in house instrument tech that could modify/repair your gear.
Bottom line: perfect music shop for Merced, focusing on encouraging young, new musicians. For me, it’s a place to get picks and cables.
Super sweet! Very fast and informative!
Good deals
The selection of instruments is lacking, but they do have enough to show off. My main concern lies with the employees, they make you feel very unwelcomed here. If you are just browing a certain section, they will basically tell you to buy something or get out. Then if they’re not harassing a customer, when you go up and try to get help they will flee to the back room and ignore you making you wait for hours.
The were very rude I just needed help with what reed size to get and the guy was very rude
I want to spend the most on my guitar give me a cheap nut for five bucks. I wanted brass all right ivory!! They charged me $90 bucks… For a $5 piece plastic from China.. I have to replace a whole neck.. son spent $2,000 an american-made Jaguar Bass.. they change the bass pickups does my bass pickups are no more fender. Do not take return for repair cuz they still everything!!! My bass guitar is good for the garbage!!!!!?
