Really fun place to browse and purchase. I love their rock collections. The customer service is very nice as well.
Great gift store to shop in for presents. Many unusual items and t-shirts.
Lone Pine rocks and gifts store: This delightful little gifts store has so many things in it, it’s hard to view it all-in-one visit. Part of the store is about rocks and rock collecting, another part of the store is about gifts and gift giving. The gift section is actually not just for others, you can actually buy something for yourself. After buying my daughter and granddaughters presents, I got something for myself as well. I’ve included photos of some of the aisles, but not pictures of everything. To do is store justice, you’ll have to come and see it yourself.
A lot of choices
I went shopping at Lone Pine Rock & Gift for Christmas gifts for my son, who is quite the rockhound. I bought him a pair of earrings for $25 that said they were Native American made, genuine silver with lapis lazuli stones. One month later, the earrings fell apart – turns out they were plastic beads broken in half and glued to a post that says, “Made in China”. They ripped me off with cheap bubblegum machine earrings! Buyer Beware!
A UV flashlight that was also purchased here broke almost immediately, not to mention that the cashier tried to overcharge me – She rung me up $50 more than my purchase and I caught the mistake before leaving the store & made her re-do the entire transaction.
Please take your business to a reputable mineral dealer instead of this overpriced and dishonest store.
2. McDonald’s

I don’t eat here every day; but, the food & service were good!
We asked for 3 different toys for 3 different happy meals and they were amazing.
Person at the counter had a bit of an attitude
This McDonald’s was nice and clean.
Modern store, perfunctory but quick counter service, $1 soda but no refills allowed, many tables were dirty with food debris at about 2pm on a Monday with few customers
No es mi favorito
Go through the drive thru going inside takes considerably longer. If inside you may notice the sign behind the counter that says drive thru is first priority.
Strawberry shake was under mixed…with imitation strawberry fluid coating bottom. Gross!!! And the window guy would not take an empty cup for garbage. How RUDE!
3. Gardner’s True Value Hardware
Address: 104 S Main St, Lone Pine, CA 93545 , Lone Pine , California , United States
It is the store that has everything. They have the best price for firewood and ice. I came in with a list of Items And an employee, OK what’s on your list and let me around the store and got everything on my list..
In the 70s we would go up to Lone Pine to go camping, when we drove though town if he was out front Mr Gardner would wave at us, and when I would go into the store, he always had a big smile and ask me what did I forget this time, because I usually did forget something for the trip, and they had anything I might need
Have wonderful memories of our visits back then
Friendly staff and will order what you need if out of stock.
Product variety is ok and actually good when you consider the size of the place. Prices on some products are in line with what you’d pay at a major retailer while some products you pay a small convenience tax, while on other products you can pay 4 times the amount.
Good service and a surprising amount of products in a small space. They usually have what I need for home and yard.
Good selection of everything for hikers or DIY jobs… little bit of an attitude regarding “nobody wanting to work anymore”.
