Hidden treasures has a broad selection of items that are well priced. I can find something new in the store almost every week. If I don’t find a book or a snazzy button down, you can find a cold bottle of soda or water for a dollar.
Very nice good prices on thing
Small and jam packed In every corner with stuff. Prices were reasonable and some items were never opened! I couldn’t find some things and had to ask if they had them. The lady knew right away yes or no and where they were. We will be back!
Small, organized thrift store with reasonable prices and an eclectic selection of goods.
The staff usually acts like they are mad they have to be there BUT I have found some great things I had been looking for at low prices so I just smile and keep coming back. That’s why I gave it four stars.
You’ll find things there that you haven’t seen in years, and a lot of their items have significant value if you know the market. Not very big, but a very exciting place to seek and find.
I enjoy reading the reviews on this place. The owner likes to reply to the one star reviews and seems to be uneducated in every which way they respond to the review. Their use of grammar is what you will find out of a 10 year old child. They say “go back and look at the cameras” as if they’ll actually let us look at them. From what I read from the reviews, the owner is a psychopath and is not competent of running a business. What a joke.
If you’re looking for nice thrift shop finds this would not be my first choice. Overly packed and smells a bit moldy.
Very rude person who I assume is the owner. daughter was looking at the toys with her mother and pick a toy out put it to the side and was looking at the other toys. Lady came over took the toy from her and said she is done with it and then caused a seen by yelling and after I said we are leaving trying to get our other son she started to yell get out of the store. I WOULD NEVER GO THERE. BEWARE. There was another customer there from Arizona and even said she is crazy and left.

Other area thrift stores could learn from this one: the staff are kind and welcoming, the store is organized, and the prices are fair.
All clothes $1.
Really nice selection and prices. No plus size clothes though.
Cash only, classic thrift
It’s reasonably well organized, and the volunteers are friendly. But, it’s a bit overpriced.
Closing announcements are too intense. Otherwise very nice.
They do not accept credit or debit cards, cash or local check only. There should be a sign on the door as you walk in to avoid shopping for nearly an hour ONLY to find out payment options at check out.
I don’t even give this place 1 star. They may have good bargains but the staff are very ignorant. They were closing at 12 and my husband and I arrived at 11:50. I just wanted to get some shirts so I knew exactly where to go. An older lady immediately told me to get in line we’re closing at 12. Not even a, “Hello, just an fyi, we close at 12.”Instead she was very hostile. I said I should have time to look at just this section. She said well the register will close at exactly 12. There were two ladies in line already checking out so I should have had time. As soon as she checked them out, the older lady said “registers closed” all while looking straight at me and it wasn’t even 12:00. I said that’s ok. I’m not getting anything from you anyway and walked out. Very rude people that work there and this wasn’t the first time dealing with rudeness there. I won’t go back.
Although this place may have good bargains the staff need some training in customer service. Upon immediately entering the building instead of saying “hello, welcome, let me know if you need anything”- we were greeted with we are closing in 20 min. Which wasn’t even accurate because they shaved 10 minutes off the time. It just seemed like the staff couldn’t wait to get out of there and were not at all helpful or friendly. I don’t like shopping in places that feel hostile and unwelcoming.

Just started taking drum lessons here and absolutely loved the experience, instructor is excellent, staff was friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait till the next lessons! Highly recommend!
Had my Martin GPC PA five set up by Adam extremely well done! I am also happy with the strings he recommended. Friendly service quality work.
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Had exactly what I needed. Will definitely be back to get more gear!!!
They have it all for any musician and they mean business great people great service and they handle a big chunk of Delaware. I think I speak for half of the people around in Delaware even when I live in Maryland that this is the place to go, definitely holds the music scene down around here. Not to mention that they have some of the newest coolest pedals as well so you better get there.
Has room to improve
I bought my ukulele and banjo from this place. No problems and fair prices.
Friendly staff and good selection
Just wasn’t sure why it was so unorganized and messy
Bought a few pieces of gear here. All above market price, first amp fried in less than a year, PRS guitar with cosmetic damage you could only see in certain light. And a PRS amp, brand new, that developd tube rattle in 3 months, even though I paid $300 over market value. Sadly, these small businesses don’t really do anything about the products they sell. But they’re definitely more expensive.
Called to know if they had any Tenor Saxophones and he had a bad attitude.

Awesome place. Calum helped me out and I just left with a beautiful new acoustic guitar. If I end up back in the area looking for another instrument or some accessories, I will definitely be stopping by!!!!
Friendly staff! Nice layout of store, good prices!
Got a great Blackstone practice amp there. It was special ordered, delivered in less than a week and $30 less than ALL the online stores. Can’t ask for much more than that.
I lot of choices
Nice Store with helpful staff !

Excellent, friendly service. Steve really knows his stuff and he’s super easy to talk to. He got my crippled keyboard back up to par and I couldn’t be happier. After experiencing poor service at some other local keyboard establishments I was just tickled to have found Crucial Audio. Steve gets all my business from here on out.
Superb technical knowledge and customer service. Pricing extremely fair and fast service. My “Go To” shop my musical technical needs!
Steve is first class Repair Man Very reasonable
& honest Very Quick repair to my Fender Deluxe Reverb Amp
Thanks Steve

I love going here for my guitar set ups and needs. I have both bass nd Electric. I dont play electric well and I didnt feel embarrassed being there or stating it. They dont judge and are quite helpful. This will always be my top place to shop for musical needs in person
Friendly helpful staff. Nice variety of musical instruments and accessories. Reasonably priced as well.
Been in several times over the years. Staff has always been friendly and helpful.
Every time my church needs any equipment we go to Earle Teat. The products are good, and the employees are always helpful and knowledgeable.
Selection of guitars is good. Employees are kind of rude and didn’t seem that knowledgeable. They might actually be knowledgeable but hate answering customer questions. In any case guitars good. Staff meh.
Knowledgeable, friendly service, decent prices, good selection.
Horrible horrible place to sell used instruments called ahead asked if they would want to take a look at my violin the man that answered said yes and to bring it in he would look at it. I walked in there and he didn’t even say 5 words to me nor did he look at my violin and told me I should take it to a pawn shop. Horrible customer service very disappointed.

This place is awesome sometimes I just come here to get away from everything.
I was attracted to Keyboard America by the wide variety of keyboards on display. The salesperson, Monty, made a genuine effort to understand my goals and to show me keyboards that would meet my needs, without trying to oversell me. The after-sale service was impressive, with Monty and Mike, the owner, always available to answer questions and striving to ensure that I was familiar with all of my keyboard’s features. I’ve purchased two keyboards from Keyboard America and recommend them for selection, competitive prices and customer service.
My experience is a little bit of a story and I’ll admit, I can be a tough customer if I don’t get what I’m promised…..I had purchased my Genos from another retailer and had it for about two weeks. I was getting frustrated trying to understand how to use some of the features and was doing a Google search for information. That’s when I ran across Mike’s business “KeyboardAmerica”.
I was utterly surprised on the EXTENSIVE and DETAILED videos that Mike as taken the time to record and post. This is a very time consuming process and I can’t believe that someone cares about transferring knowledge to this extent. Not just to HIS customers, but to everyone!
Mike happens to enjoy the same music as I do, being the old standards from yesteryear, and had plenty of book bundles available for sale.
Being a previous musician a while back, I couldn’t find my old music binder and was trying to come up with all the music by memory. JACKPOT! I found not only the information and instruction I was looking for about my Genos, but I also found all the music I needed!
Long story short, I RETURNED my Genos to the retailer I originally bought it from (which by the way is no small task) and repurchased my Genos from Mike. I received so much more from Keyboard America than I did from the original retailer. Books, music, microphone, stand, double warranty, pedals, midi files, etc, etc, EVERYTHING he promised was delivered and the Genos was PRELOADED and ready to go.
Reached out to Mike about some questions and last weekend he spent an hour on the phone with me! Just as promised!
I have spent a bit of time on the phone with Mike both before and after the purchase. I really feel as though I have a FRIEND that knows the goal I have in mind (getting back out into the entertainment circuit), and he’s skyrocketing me to that level with his book bundles. customer service and his personal touch.
Do yourself a favor…….stop looking and start playing! Give these guys a call and you’ll get EVERYTHING he promises and much more.
By the way, I wasn’t asked to write this review. I did it because I wanted to, and it’s a well deserved review for Mike and his wife…. who haven’t forgotten the true meaning of customer satisfaction! Thanks Mike and Kathy……Keep doing what you do! Many Thanks…..
Keep Playin’
Rich
They were closed so I didn’t go in but they are a good one stop shop for any piano needs, books, tuning, and teacher recommendations
Since no one in our state stocks arranger keyboards anymore, or can even answer simple questions about them, I called Keyboard America. Mike answered my questions – I was not sure I believed him on all the answers compared to my Clavinova, but after I got my own, his answers turned out to be 100% correct. The Genos I first received had a defect that could not be detected by simply upgrading the software. I called Mike and after some quick diagnostics had Yamaha speak to me directly. To make a long story short, Yamaha said it was manufacturing defect and authorized Mike to replace it within a couple of weeks. The replacement Genos has performed flawlessly and met all my expectations! I originally had trepidations about not being able speak face to face about my purchasing questions and service after the sale if there was a problem. But Mike and Kathy at Keyboard America took the time to answer my questions and get me solutions when needed. I, for one, am glad they there and would have no qualms returning to them should I get the urge for another instrument in the future.
Don’t let the outside deter you. They have a very good selection of digital pianos, and great costumer service. And if no one is there, call the number on the door
Mike is a absurd asshat he was rude to my wife more than once. We waited 3 days for a estimate every day we called it was he had some thousands of dollar delivery. I told them to forget our estimate and shove his up his ass.
I wasn’t going to post anything, but since I saw some similar reviews, I figured I’d share. I was looking for a keyboard and a guy who I assumed was the owner showed me what I going to buy. When I asked some questions and looked at some other keyboards he “huffed” at me and walked away. I guess that was all the service I was gong to get. It’s hard to give someone your business after that. I ordered what I wanted online the next day. It’s too bad, but I get the impression that they are doing well enough that they don’t need to bother with difficult customers like me.
After 10 months of many civil attempts and no resolution, we finally had our day in court against Keyboardamerica. Justice prevailed and we won the judgement. 60 days later and Mike Mixon still won’t pay up. Had to file execution levy with the court where the Sussex County Constables will seize property for auction. Nearly a year later and this is what I’ve been forced to do. Consumers be aware that if you have an issue, they will not do the right thing.
