Got my guitar here manager was super nice and understood what I wanted and helped me in every way she could
I bought a used violin from their sister store after deciding I wanted to try to pick it up again after almost 20 years of not playing. The violin I received needed the bridge installed and needed tuning, so the sister store sent me to Music and Arts for help. Christopher helped me get the violin set up and ready to play. I told him my situation and he helped me pick out a music book to learn from and some accessories. What I appreciated most was that he was genuinely excited to share a love of music with someone looking to get back into it. Thank you for your help!
I Love this store. Thank you Jamie for the awesome attitude to customers and music!
Good selection of musical gear, instruments, some sheet music, and other necessities. The rental prices are high – the markup on their instruments is, too- but overall it’s a good store with a friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Very limited options. Good for beginner or any starter . Cheaper instruments and cheap music stand. Not recommended for intermediate or professional needs :/
Your one stop shop whether you want to buy or rent or repair musical instruments. They have friendly staff with reliable service and they do have branches at many places in Colorado
Helpful staff, but totally under staffed. If you roll in expect a huge line and pack a lunch. It is a very poor experience.
Purchased a viola starter pack at a school rental night. Was told it would be delivered to the school within a few days. It is now more than a month later and my kid never got the starter pack. To top it off the customer service line does not answer the phone. I sent an email to see if I could get it resolved and the same day I got a random $30 charge on my credit card. This has been a very frustrating experience and my daughter still has no viola pack!
I rented a trumpet for my daughter and as I was returning it, one of the workers said that I could get a hundred dollars credit for a different instrument. I told her that I would wait until my kids were out of school so they could pick which instrument they wanted. Last Thursday, I went in with my kids to return the trumpet and find a new instrument. I gave the trumpet to the man at the cashier, expecting him to complete the process with the credit opportunity. Without a word, he returned the trumpet without mentioning the credit opportunity. When I asked about it, he said “Sorry I already returned it. I can’t do anything about it.” This employee scammed me, and his response was a pathetic excuse of an apology. I am incredibly disappointed. If I could give zero stars, I would.

Nicole has been a wonderful and patient teacher. As an adult learner with several setbacks this year, she has been wonderful in helping me learn at a good pace. I really appreciate that she also gives good feedback and helps you to learn to understand techniques and how to fix your errors when you’re not in the studio. She has also been wonderful in helping me take the perfectionism out of learning to play, which I am truly grateful for. I highly recommend her for violin, especially for adult learners like myself.
I take private cello lessons with Vincent! He is an amazing teacher and can easily explain the concepts for all ages. He is able to diagnose learning needs and expedite the progression of skills. I recommend cello lessons at this conservatory to all budding cellists!
My daughter is 12 and we have been going to A Musician Is….. for 2 years now. At that age many hobbies come and go but not her desire to play the violin and I believe that has alot to do with Nikki. I’ve sat in on every class and it’s amazing to see the progress my daughter has made and knowledge she has gained learining to play the violin, the discipline she has learned being a musician and how to apply that to everyday life. Nikki’s music knowledge and the tidbits she throws your way makes each class entertaining.
My daughter looks forward to all the recitals and gets a kick out of people of all ages dressed up nervous and excited to perform. Nikki is an awesome teacher that I would highly recommend to anyone!!!

Had good service buying some replacement strings, would definitely go back for future guitar needs.
Everything you need and want!
Staff has a great knowledge of their products and were very helpful in picking a guitar.
Good. The people are very helpful!
Only fun if you shared
Customer service tends to be hit or miss, but they have a decent selection, especially in electric guitars. They offer lessons now, which is cool. Been my go to place for a while now.
You know all the jokes about how they treat people at record stores and music shops. They live up to them beautifully here. Forget holiday cheer and helpful service. Rude and unhelpful at every turn – a pretty heartbreaking first time at the music store for my daughter.
This is by far the worst store Guitar Center has. It is a wonder that they are still open. They have NO inventory at all. The acoustic guitar room has about 11 guitars in it. Most are out of tune and in dreadful condition for a product that is supposed to be new.
No one should ever buy a guitar here.
